Good location, a clean and modern room, and good value for the price.
Excellent service, accommodations and locations.
I expected more from a hotel costing over $300 per night. The room was tiny and sparsely appointed, the shower flooded the bathroom floor because there was no lip on the shower edge, no skin lotion, no hair conditioner. No in-room coffee, or complimentary coffee in the lobby. I deleted my app. I will not be back.
The lobby is beautiful and comfortable. We especially liked sitting in the lobby in the evening with the soft blue tile and lights...very calming. The staff was very nice and helpful with any requests. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. For being on the main road it was surprisingly quiet. My only reason for not giving this motel a 10 was because there was no coffee/kettle available in the room, which would have been very nice; there wasn't really any space next to the bed other than a shelf and limited shelving for clothings; and the shower only had a combination shampoo/body wash. Other than those 3 things everything was perfect. It was well located near restaurants/cafes and walking distance to the train or even walking into Marienplatz.

The staff doesn’t make you feel particularly welcome and the experience feels more like a business transaction than genuine hospitality. They weren’t rude, but there was definitely a lack of warmth. For example, they had my wife come downstairs to pick up an ironing board. When she called later to let them know she was finished with it, they asked her to bring it back downstairs herself. I stayed during Oktoberfest, so the staff may have been somewhat overwhelmed. The breakfast was clean, but overpriced for the limited selection, which consisted mostly of sweet breads, yogurt and cold cuts. Overall, the service and breakfast didn’t quite match the level I would expect for the price.
There’s nothing provided in the rooms and for the price per night, it was definitely not worth the stay. No steamer/iron, no lotion, no shampoo/conditioner, one bottle of water for the whole stay.
Generally very positive experience. A few reception staff could have been better informed on providing directions for public transport, but overall everyone was positive, friendly and helpful. The room was well organised and clean. Loved the separate shower and separation of toilet and shower. Great room with 2 balconies and excellent views. The breakfast was good, but I have had better value for similar cost - the main difference I think is the amount and variety of fresh fruit and the only warm component was boiled eggs.
For my Business trip to our offices in Balanstraße this was the perfect location. It's near Munich East station (München Ostbahnhof). The rooms are comforatable and have everything I need. the breakfast was delicious. The reception and service was very friendly. The price was fair. I will come again.
Great experience - location beside station, helpful staff, clean and comfortavle, well-designed room. Good aircon, good shower, very comfortable. perfect for a night's stopover and great value. I couldn't work out how to turn the lights off though!

Good hotel! A little bit small room, but enough for sleeping. Excellent breakfast. I could recommend to add an option tourists can order pancakes or omelets. Receptionists were very polite.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Kind from when we first came to dealing with the ac issue. Had to switch rooms during the nights because of the ac not working and high heat outside. Got immediate help from the receptionist, no trouble whatsoever after and checkout was easy even with now ”two” rooms.

Room was spotless, staff were excellent throughout and ideally enjoyed my stay. Breakfast needs to be improved however, it did not represent good value, no apparent hot food and what was there was quite limited in range and options. It was also a small display and needed constant top up.
The hotel is beautiful, clean, and in an excellent location. Service and reception are also good. The only things missing are a refrigerator and a kettle in the room.

My first time at this Motel One location and a very pleasant surprise. Room was larger than at other hotels in the chain and cooled without visible air conditioning. New building technique and very welcome in the summer heat! Also the location was central to transport and double-glazing kept out all street/traffic noise.

It’s a very comfortable room to stay in. The staff are very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay there. We were allowed to have early check-in at 10am after a long flight journey from Singapore.
Room was very good, clean, nice. Breakfast was not great. Not sure if this is typical for motel one. Also did not like at all you could only sit down on lounge chairs with lounge tables. No scrambled eggs? No milk in the coffee machine, bad tasting orange juice, not so nice cold cuts.
the lower than expected rating for bathroom is due to a very fluctuating water temperature, despite functioning shower temperature regulator.

The room was exactly as pictured, very clean and tidy, with everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions to the places we were interested in. A full breakfast was served, and there was a relaxing outdoor area to enjoy it. I will definitely be using MotelOne again on my future trips.
The check-in was easy and fast. Advantages: - The hygiene on the bed and in the bathroom was very satisfying. - The curtains were thick enough to prevent the morning light from disturbing your sleep. - The window was soundproof, which is a big advantage for me because my room opened to the main street. - The breakfast was included in my reservation, which was of good quality. Drawbacks: - There were no toasters (or at least I couldn't find one). - I didn't receive information on the whereabouts of the breakfast room and the elevator until I asked about them myself. - In the room, there was no toothpaste or slippers, and I had to ask for them at the reception (slippers are not available)
We were allowed to check in early at 10:00 AM, even though we had only expected to leave our luggage. Thanks the friendly staff.

Very good value for money
Great hotel and amazing service! Don't have much to say. I rated 9 instead of 10 because I would like a few more amenities, like a small fridge and an iron.
Very disappointing stay. We had booked three nights and, at check-in, specifically confirmed and paid for parking for the following two nights. The next day, when we arrived at the parking entrance, we waited around 15 minutes with no response. After going back to the front desk, we were told the parking was fully booked and that we should find somewhere else ourselves. This was completely unacceptable, because we had already paid for it. Only after we showed the payment record did the staff change their explanation and say that there was in fact a space, but in the neighboring IHK parking area rather than the hotel’s own parking. This should have been explained clearly from the start, instead of causing confusion and stress. It was already after 8 pm, and as tourists unfamiliar with Munich, being told to go and find parking on our own was extremely irresponsible. The front desk staff were unprofessional and poorly trained. Even a small promised benefit, a complimentary bottle of water for registered members, was not given at check-in and only provided after we asked the next day. This was supposed to be part of our honeymoon, and the hotel’s handling of the situation completely ruined our mood. I would not recommend this hotel.
Small but nicely furnished room, bathroom with sufficiently large shower cabinet. The fan never shut off though. My room was quiet but a colleague of mine had his room to the street which was kind of noisy. The reception staff was very friendly, the waiter in the breakfast room was not really si. He was too busy having to take care of all the tables. Also, there were not enough tables during rush time and the tables were too close together making it difficult to squeeze through to sit down. The choice at breakfast was plentiful, excellent rolls and fruit salad, no eggs and bacon though.

Náš hotel v mnichovské čtvrti Haidhausen v centrální poloze mezi zastávkami městské dráhy Ostbahnhof a Rosenheimer Platz je důkazem toho, že dobré věci přicházejí po deseti! V současnosti vás totiž v Mnichově čeká nelehká volba, ve kterém z našich výhodných designových hotelů nás navštívíte. Jako desátý nyní do naší rodiny přibyl tyrkysový hotel v jedné z nejtradičnějších a nejšaramantnějších mnichovských čtvrtí. V 17. století byla čtvrť Haidhausen známá jako čtvrť řemeslníků a nádeníků. Významnou roli sehrála také ve vývoji typické mnichovské kultury hostinců a zahradních pivnic, neboť místní pivovary využívaly sklepení na vysokém břehu řeky Isar k chlazení svého piva. Dnes se na tomto místě nachází Gasteig – mnichovské kulturní centrum a zároveň sídlo Mnichovské filharmonie. Kromě toho zde na břehu řeky Isar najdeme sídlo Bavorského zemského sněmu Maximilianeum. O zajímavá místa v bezprostředním okolí našeho hotelu tak rozhodně není nouze.
Malý kvíz: Proč se čtvrti Haidhausen říká také Francouzská čtvrť? Pravda, dnes tu najdeme mnoho francouzských restaurací a butiků. Skutečným důvodem však je, že v roce 1872 byly ulice v okolí nádraží Ostbahnhof pojmenovány podle vítězných bitev v prusko-francouzské válce z let 1870–71. Půlkruhové náměstí Orleansplatz, ulice Belfortstraße nebo Lothringerstraße a náměstí Pariser Platz jsou toho důkazem. Pro design našeho hotelu jsme tento francouzský vliv promítli do interiéru s jedinečným barevným řešením, nástěnným uměním a krásnými detaily a nechali se inspirovat atmosférou této řemeslnické a umělecké čtvrti. Pokud vám tedy například dělicí stěny z tepaného železa v naší One Lounge připomínají staré balkony, které můžete vidět v okolí, není to žádná náhoda. K objevování je toho ale ještě mnohem více. Proto byste se měli posilnit naší bio snídaní a vyrazit na průzkum města. Nemusíte mít obavy, večer na vás bude čekat komfortní pokoj s horkou sprchou a pohodlnou kontinentální postelí.
Pro plánování vycházek je vám k dispozici naše bezplatné Wi-Fi – a samozřejmě náš přátelský personál. Do centra a historického jádra Mnichova se z našeho cenově výhodného hotelu v Haidhausenu dostanete pohodlně veřejnou dopravou. Přímé napojení na městskou dráhu a metro vám poskytnou zastávky Rosenheimer Platz a Ostbahnhof. Během několika minut tak budete na Mariánském náměstí a tržišti Viktualienmarkt, hlavním nádraží nebo – a teď by měli zbystřit zejména příznivci Oktoberfestu – na Tereziánské louce. Vynikající napojení na městskou dráhu (S-Bahn) máte zajištěno také v případě, že přijíždíte nebo pokračujete v cestě přes letiště Mnichov. Směrem do centra se však můžete vydat i pěšky ulicí Rosenheimer Straße. Ta vás zavede kolem kulturního centra Gasteig přímo do přírodní oblasti Isarauen, kde na vás čeká plovárna Müller'sches Volksbad – jedna z nejkrásnějších secesních plováren v Evropě. Na místě si můžete zaplavat v historickém prostředí nebo navštívit Německé muzeum, které se nachází přímo naproti.
A pokud vám po všech těch památkách, nákupech nebo náročném pracovním dni vyhládlo, nemusíte od hotelu chodit vůbec daleko. Svůj okouzlující, příjemný charakter si čtvrť Haidhausen v průběhu staletí zachovala díky bohaté nabídce hospůdek, hostinců, restaurací a barů. Ale i jinak je tu po celý rok připraven bohatý program. Tradiční trh Auer Dult každý rok od jara do podzimu zve návštěvníky na náměstí Mariahilfplatz, zatímco v zimě se na náměstí Weißenburger Platz koná jeden z nejoblíbenějších vánočních trhů v Mnichově. Známá terasa Nockherberg, jež hraničí se čtvrtí Au-Haidhausen, láká na tradiční slavnosti silného piva a na zahradní pivnici a je vzdálená jen několik minut jízdy tramvají nebo metrem. Moderní městský život a bavorské tradice – nenapodobitelná kombinace, která dělá z našeho designového hotelu v mnichovské čtvrti Haidhausen nezapomenutelné místo. Srdečně vás vítáme!
