First of all, the location was top. Near to everything (Metro, tram, Markthal, Chinatown, etc). From check-in to check-out, the size of this location of Motel One, the space of the building and its spaces within, the room (best bed of all four beds we slept on in 4 hotels within a week: Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Amsterdam), great bathroom, though the door gets wet a lot when taking a shower, best breakfast of all (format, presentation, cleanliness, friendliness), though the Lounge&Bar space is designed better for lounging than for having breakfast. The first time I stayed at a Motel One was in Berlin many years ago, but haven't been a regular client. In the future, I'll try to stay at a Motel One location whenever possible. Thank you!
This hotel was perfect for my stay. Right in the centre, very clean and super comfortable beds! Also much better value than many of the hotels in Rotterdam. I particularly like the fact that the bed pillows were actually comfortable, most hotels (even 5 star ones!) have pillows like boulders The staff were very helpful. My only negative is the breakfast, very basic and very little on offer for coeliacs.
This was my second time staying at Motel One Rotterdam and third time at a Motel One hotel. I had a great stay. Room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Fantastic location and view. Friendly and efficient check in. The bar staff are always so personable. The rooftop bar had a great ambience with a terrific view of the Rotterdam skyline. I intend to stay there again.

Nos dejaron hacer el cheking muy pronto lo cual se agradece mucho. Lo malo la habitación, es muy pequeña y daba a unas escaleras interiores… El desayuno súper bien de calidad y opciones variadas, pero muy caro…
Nice staff. Room was so Small that I nearly could not pass between TV and windows- but had to to get to the wardrobe and table.
Great location, clean room. Receptionist wanted to make me pay again after I had paid for three rooms in advance already. Too bad I did not get the water bottle for members. Lady seemed to be a bit bored.
Consistently excellent, great service. Would like hot drink facilities in room. Price was a bit higher than I’ve paid before but still good value.
I had a good stay at Motel One Rotterdam. The room was quiet, but unfortunately it wasn't possible to open the window fully but just a small gap. Yet, I managed to get a good night sleep with fresh air. The room and the bathroom are really tiny but good enough for one or two nights. I enjoyed the breakfast on the top floor with a great view over Rotterdam, although I missed my fried or scrambled egg.

Hotel was very nice and quiet. Rooms are small and bathrooms do not have enough amenities for a hotel with this rating. Breakfast had no hot options, which was unexpected.

The hotel itself is fine. But the bar... It works when you want have a drink and chat. It really does not work for breakfast. Not only is there a huge lack of seating where you can have breakfast (who ever thought that it's a good idea to server breakfast in a rocking chair??) but also large lamps hanging low are an amazingly bad idea. Ask my head after running into them three times.

I’ve stayed in this hotel chain before. The Rotterdam hotel was smaller but had a great location. Room fine although I did get bitten whilst in bed and after googling it could have been a bed bug!!!! Bar excellent with great staff. Breakfast very good.

This was our first time staying at a Motel One. We enjoyed our five-night stay very much. Our “Special One” room was super spacious and bright as well as quiet. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The storage space is a bit more limited than some guests might prefer, but we found it fine for our needs as we use packing cubes when we travel. The breakfast was the usual European mixture of fresh breads, cold meats, cheese, boiled eggs and so on. All was very fresh. The breakfast room design is bright and open with the space serving as the bar in the evening. We were even able to sit out on the wonderful terrace the first evening before cooler weather set in. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely consider staying at a Motel One in the future.

Very central location. Room had lovely view with enormous windows. I booked 3 months in advance which cost me much more than if I had book the day before. Lovely roof top lounge/bar.
Right in the City - great location!
The room was compact but this was expected. I miniature fridge would have been nice. The only place ice was available was at the bar. Ice should be available in the hotel. We stayed three nights and we didn’t expect daily upkeep.we did ask for the garbage to be removed twice and this was not done.

Stay was good, comfy beds, but very small room and basic amenities for the price. Location is great, staff very friendly!
Rooftop bar was fabulous. Staff were great and very friendly. Breakfast was value for money. Room was excellent - clean and spacious enough. Unfortunately no bath. Location perfect as near to centre and train station, both of which were easily walkable. Highly recommended.
Unfortunately the chairs in the breakfast lounge are feeling well worn from so many people sitting in them. Time to refill the chairs with new cushions.
This is a very good hotel in an ideal location for the Metro, tram as well as the market, many bars and restaurants. The rooftop bar and lounge is a great place to relax at the end of the day.

A very nice hotel ideally located in a busy area of Rotterdam for exploring the area. The rooms are cosy and could do with coffee/tea making facilities but overhaul a terrific hotel with very good staff

La experiencia fue muy buena. Pero tuvimos un problema importante. Le dijimos al hotel que nos reservará un taxi para el aeropuerto el día anterior. Cuando llega la hora viendo que no llega les pedimos que llamen y al cabo de un rato el taxista dice que tardará una media hora....pero tampoco nos lo aseguran. Y el hotel no reaccionó y no nos dió solución. Tuvimos que buscarnos nosotros por nuestra cuenta y urgentemente la solución.
Bien ubicado, con un equipo joven y profesional. Cama cómoda. A mejorar, tamaño justo de la habitación, tamaño de la toalla de ducha que es pequeña y espacio de desayuno más pensado para la noche que para el día
La estancia ha sido muy agradable. Como punto muy positivo, había varios cojines en la cama para poder elegir y la cama cómoda. No me gusto que no se pudiera abrir ninguna ventana y que la única posibilidad de ventilación fuera el aire acondicionado. Viajé con mi madre, muy mayor y la corriente del aire acondicionado era especialmente desagradable para ella.
Muy lindo alojamiento. Excelente ubicación, destaca el diseño moderno y limpieza. El desayuno muy rico y variado. A modo de sugerencia recomiendo que las habitaciones tengan más lugar para ubicar la ropa.

Todo estuvo bien, el único detalle es que aire acondicio ado no se podía colocar por encima de los 23°C y realmente se necesitaba más temperatura para estar cómodo.

La ubicación es lo más relevante. Las habitaciones muy pequeñas y sin armarios, esto sería lo más negativo El desayuno: por el precio que tiene mínimo sería tener zumo de naranja natural
El único fallo que le encontré a la habitación fue que no cuenta con un armario, solo dispone de una barra con tres perchas y no hay donde dejar la ropa ni la maleta. Lo demás perfecto
Mi estancia fue agradable y confortable.
No puedo dar un 10, porque el ruido desde las 7.00AM hasta casi las 11:00PM de ventilación era muy desagradable. Tienen que mejorar esto, porque los que vamos de negocios, tenemos que descansar.

Berlín tiene un alma gemela: ¡Róterdam es increíblemente similar a la animada metrópolis alemana! Su moderno horizonte, sus coloridos barrios llenos de arte y su ambiente liberal convierten a la segunda ciudad más grande de los Países Bajos en el alma gemela de Berlín. Estas dos bonitas ciudades no solo coinciden en los valores externos, sino también en los internos, ya que, tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial, ambas emprendieron un nuevo camino cultural y arquitectónico. Al igual que Berlín, Róterdam tuvo que despedirse de gran parte de su patrimonio urbano. Ahora ambas se han reinventado y el resultado es inmejorable: Róterdam combina hábilmente tesoros típicos neerlandeses, como los canales y las casas con frontones, con arte callejero y un estilo industrial. Por eso, la ciudad se ha ganado el sobrenombre de «la Berlín de los Países Bajos». Por cierto: muchos van incluso más allá y se refieren a la ciudad como «la Manhattan del Mosa». Y, efectivamente, con un poco de imaginación, el horizonte del Nieuwe Maas casi se parece al de Manhattan con el río Hudson.
Róterdam: encanto histórico con aire futurista
¿Una ciudad antigua o moderna? ¡Róterdam es ambas! La metrópolis neerlandesa nos permite viajar entre generaciones. Esta ciudad combina de una forma inigualable la pasión, el cosmopolitismo y el amor por los contrastes para demostrar que lo antiguo y lo moderno pueden ir de la mano. Empecemos con un viaje en el tiempo a la histórica Róterdam. El Puerto Viejo de la ciudad nos transporta a la época de marineros y piratas: solían pasar el tiempo jugando al póquer y bebiendo ron en las estrechas casas con frontones que bordean los canales. Hoy en día, encontramos allí a numerosos estudiantes y artistas. La joya arquitectónica del Puerto Viejo es la Casa Blanca, aunque la Witte Huis de Róterdam tiene muy poco que ver con la residencia oficial del presidente estadounidense en Washington D.C. Más bien, este actual edificio de oficinas recuerda a una mansión neerlandesa. Lo más especial de la Witte Huis es que fue el primer rascacielos de Róterdam, inspirado en los de Nueva York. El edificio, de 43 metros de altura, vigila el puerto desde 1898. Si retrocedemos aún más en el tiempo, encontramos la iglesia de San Laurencio, más conocida como Laurenskerk, que nos trae la Edad Media al presente. ¿Por qué es tan especial? Este edificio es incomparable: ¡la Laurenskerk es el único vestigio medieval de toda Róterdam! Todos los demás testigos contemporáneos fueron víctimas de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Los bombardeos aéreos no dejaron indemne la iglesia, pero los daños causados durante la guerra se repararon por completo entre 1952 y 1968. ¿Y si damos un salto en el tiempo hasta el siglo XX?
