Nice place to stay, not only the room, but also the reception and bar.

Had a lovely stay at Motel One Basel. The room was very comfortable (as was the Aircon, outdoor temperature was 37c!). Nicole at the front desk was very cheerful and helpful, telling us about the Suisse National Day celebrations about the city. The location was perfect, near busses, trams, good restaurants and bars.
Stylish, friendly and clean. We will definitely use Motel One again.The location was perfect for everything we wanted to see.

We were very pleased we chose to stay at Motel One in Basel with its very convenient central location, modern decor and friendly and helpful staff. The room was comfortably furnished, the bathroom fittings high end and the cleaning service was excellent.

For the past five years, your hotel has been my number one choice whenever I stay in Basel. The location is simply perfect, and everything about the hotel consistently exceeds my expectations—from the comfortable, clean rooms to the welcoming lobby and overall atmosphere. What truly makes this hotel exceptional is the staff. Everyone is warm, friendly, and professional. Special thanks to Nicole and Mr. Tamer at the reception, as well as Mr. Mohamed and David at the bar, for always making my stay enjoyable. A very special thank you to Mr. Tamer for his outstanding professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help. He is always happy to provide any information I need about the city, and his excellent service makes every visit even more pleasant. This time, I have been staying at the hotel since 1 July, and today is 18 July—I haven’t even checked out yet! Staying here truly feels like being at home, and that’s why I keep coming back year after year.

the room was cosy but I missed a table to work on it. the door of the toilet closed automatically no tent were present so I should keep the curtains closed all the time
Great location, easy to walk in Old Town. But, no air conditioning! Rooms are hot, very hard to sleep. You have to sleep with your windows open and the street noise is very loud all night long..
A fantastic hotel in a prime location. Great to have a tasty breakfast included, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The only thing stopping it being perfect was the location of my room, which overlooked the inside of the New Yorker store in the same building. This made it feel dark and somehow not private (even though there was privacy film on the appropriate part of the window). However, the room itself was comfortable, and I appreciated the provision of an excellent Dyson fan to keep it cool in the hot weather. I hope to return to Motel One Basel soon and look forward to trying out the chain's other properties.
I got stranded in Basel and ended up in Motel One. I was so suprised by the hospitality and kindness of all the staff. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly, I will definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Staff at the reception is very competent and friendly. Room small but clean and quiet. Location is excellent! Quit expensive for the tiny room, but it was Art Basel this weekend.
Though I had a challenging check-in due to an employee who was new to the team and stressed with my asking for a pro forma to see exact charges rather than showing a number on the calculator in her hand - the programs was CHF 120 lees than what she had showed me. Then it took more than five minutes to deduct three breakfast charges as my partner left before me. It was troublesome

It was really good. Location is great and the staff are very friendly. However a few features in the room are missed like lotion, and a mini fridge.
The hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. It was very clean, and the location is perfect—close to all major attractions and convenient for getting around. I was also pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, and the room was extremely comfortable, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The only downside was the breakfast. The bread and croissants were disappointing and could definitely be improved. Overall, I had a great stay and would still recommend this hotel.

La ubicación del hotel es fantástica. La habitación, en cuarta planta y orientada a un patio grande, era muy tranquila, luminosa y limpia. Muy recomendable.
Excelente estadía en ubicación inmejorable en el centro histórico de Basel. Prestaciones perfectas para viaje tanto de negocios como de placer. Faltaría frigobar en las habitaciones para hacer de la estadía algo perfecto. El desayuno y las habitaciones y sobre todo la atención del personal 10 puntos. Un detalle, adoré los caramelos de cortesía a la salida...! Gracias Motel ONE espero pronto poder visitarlos nuevamente!

Buenos días. Conozco la cadena de hoteles one, me gustan, siempre que hay la posibilidad la elijo. En el hotel de basilea he encontrado a faltar alguna mesa más porque los asientos de sillón para mí son incómodos (para el desayuno).

Catedral de Basilea, orillas del Rin y ayuntamiento: lo más destacado del triángulo fronterizo.
A orillas del río Rin se alza un auténtico símbolo de la ciudad, la Catedral de Basilea, que domina al resto de los edificios. Nuestro consejo: cruza el Rin y admira la catedral desde la orilla opuesta. Su arenisca roja y sus coloridos ladrillos darán para muy buenas fotos. Por cierto: la iglesia fue construida entre 1019 y 1500 y es de estilo románico y gótico.
A lo largo del río, jalonado de cafeterías y restaurantes, llegarás a Mittlere Brücke, el puente sobre el Rin más antiguo de la ciudad. El puente sirve de frontera entre el Alto Rin y el Rin Superior, y fue levantado en el siglo XIII. El puerto de Basilea supone un drástico contraste que cada vez atrae a más fans. Y es que en los últimos años se ha revelado como punto de encuentro, gracias a su escena alternativa de bares y clubes. Allí podrás pasear, ver, disfrutar de deliciosa comida y observar los barcos, sobre todo en verano. Por supuesto, recomendamos encarecidamente que te eches unos bailes.
