Great hotel, staff and service.
The hotel is centrally located and allowed easy access to many restaurants and shops. The public tram system is near by so we were able to move around with relative ease. The hotel staff was very helpful and made the stay memorable.
Had a wonderful stay-staff was very helpful. I would stay there again in the future.

Very good location close to Stockerstrasse Tram and to Coop/Migros stores.Very efficient check in/out. Nice to give water bottle free. Great lounge area with bar offers space and privacy. Room spartanisch but clean. Absolutely fine. All provide one needs for a short stayover. Add shoehorn please
There didnt seem to be any added niceties of staying here - no tea or coffee in room, no fridge. It was adequate but considering the cost i was surprised by how little you get.
No shower caps, no slippers & no body lotion available in the room

I was disappointed with my room - it was compact and the door to the bathroom didn't open fully due to it hitting the bed when it was half way open. There was no drinking water in the room and no telephone to call down to reception. Having arrived reasonably late at night, heading up to the 4th floor to then discover I had a question for reception and having to head back down instead of simply calling on an internal phone was frustrating. Bottled water, a mini fridge and a telephone for calling reception are basic amenities expected in a four star hotel. Breakfast was continental and fine - location was good, not too far off the Bahnhofstrasse. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Very good. Rooms are confortable and spacious. Nice location, nice facilities. Only thing that can be improved is the selection of products in the breakfast.

very nice hotel, good breakfast that could be improved with a wider choich of natural/healthy products. I did not like the corridor carpet they installed during my week stay, it was too a chemical kind and smelly.

This isn't my first time staying at a Motel One. The stay was very nice; the rooms are spacious and clean. If there had been a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities in the room, the rating would definitely be a 10.

Still a lot of things missing, no coffee machine, nor phone (not working at all) in the room and also besides soap (was also not working) no articles in the bath. Toast in the bar downstairs was sooo bad and simple that a 5 year old kid could do it better and it was sold like a Mediterranean style toast. Really bad…. Breakfast was okay Shower was full of limescale on the floor.
My 15th stay with you and as ever always a pleasure. Smooth experience for the entire stay, and always great to see familiar faces at breakfast as always. I look forward to returning again soon.
Room was very quiet. For our business trip it was good location. As for the breakfast I missed eggs and sausages, but otherwise it was good.
1) heating did not work 2) quite frequent client had an issue with the room (due to the booking agency) not solved...

this is incredible to not have fridge in the rooms. there are so much purchases could not made by us in the city due to lack of fridge. this is the most common unsatisfactory thing but very very dissapointing actually. only for just one cheap fridge we cannot be satisfied from our stay.
Clean, comfortable and friendly staff
I am a MotelOne member and I have stayed in this hotel multiple times as I am a regular visitor to Zürich. On this occasion the stay did not meet my expectations. We stayed Thursday and Friday night and on both mornings we were awoken by loud, regular banging on the door at 09:15/09:30. I had specified that we were there for leisure in my stay. We also raised this on our departure and the receptionist was quite rude/unhelpful to say it is due to a lot of business travelers, which I don’t think is acceptable.

The reception and breakfast staff are excellent, the location is ideal, and the room size is perfect for a single guest. The only thing I missed was a gym—even a small one would have been nice.

The room was fine but for that price and 3 stars I'd expect at least a kettle with coffee/tea selection. It's a standard offer in Europe. I didn't go to breakfasts as my colleagues told me that it was only cold buffet.

Appreciated the central location, friendliness of staff and good vibes at Motel One Zurich. Room and bathroom were rather small but ok for me as a single business traveler. Breakfast offer and space were both nice; Bar & Lounge space I didn't use but looked nice. Mobile phones - very annoying on early morning - to be strictly banned from Breakfast space.
The only negative remark about my stay in your hotel refers to breakfast. During breakfast, it tends to get quite congested because the coffee machines are placed in the wrong area. This spot naturally attracts the highest number of people, as most guests go for coffee, which creates a bottleneck. As a result, it is difficult to access the buffet comfortably, and people end up squeezing past those waiting for coffee. In my view, it would work much better to position the coffee machines in a different location — for example, right after entering the dining area. Coffee is usually the first thing people grab, even before looking for a free table, so separating this flow from the buffet would significantly improve the overall experience.

My stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The location is very good and convenient for getting around the city, and the facilities were clean and well organized. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. In particular, John was very polite and helpful and assisted us whenever we needed. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience.
Our stay was truly excellent. The location is ideal, as it is less than a 10-minute walk from the main points of interest, which made getting around very easy and made our overall experience even more enjoyable. What stood out the most, however, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The level of service was outstanding and you could genuinely feel that they care about their guests. A special mention goes to John, who was absolutely wonderful. From the very first moment he was extremely kind, friendly, and always available to help us. He patiently answered all of our questions and gave us great recommendations for the area. Everything he suggested turned out to be spot on and really helped us enjoy our trip even more. The way he treated us made us feel completely comfortable, almost like being at home, which truly makes a difference during a stay We would definitely choose this place again and highly recommend it!
clean, calm room. however I missed a table in the room for working and having calls. Room has carpet, it would have been good to have pair of slippers also a cattle in the room would have been nice. Liked the size of the room.

We always like Motel One and see it as our home in Zurich. The personel is amazing. Very nice, helpful and friendly. My criticisms are the security of the hotel. Anyone can enter the hotel anytime. No one is controlling the entrance & security. This may be a concern for many guests and I think you need to take precautions on this area. It looks like it’s the hotel policy because I realized the same issue in motel One Ulm as well. I have seen many homeless people entering the hotel and using the restrooms. Lastly, the room cleanliness is not sufficient. It used to be better. No detail cleaning is being done anymore and I found a cleaning cloth in my bathroom this time.
I always stay at this hotel because it’s comfortable and well located. Unfortunately, this time my room faced the outside instead of the central courtyard. There’s an indoor cycling gym nearby, and you can hear the techno music they play at 7 a.m., which isn’t ideal if you want to wake up in a quiet environment. Aside from that, the services are good and I usually enjoy my stay.
