I stayed at your hotel with my wife between the dates of 8 and 13 May 2025. I am a person who travels to Europe frequently due to my job and I used to prefer Motel One if there was one in European cities. But I don't know if I will prefer it from now on because the heating system in your hotel was not working. When we went down to the reception, they said that since the season was temporary, they put it in summer mode and therefore the air conditioning only gave cold. We had a very hard time in the evenings, especially in Berlin, since the temperature dropped to 3-4 degrees at night in May. After a nice Berlin tour, it was very difficult to go to a freezing room and try to sleep under the covers all night and try to warm up, so I don't think I will stay at your hotel again, at least in winter and spring and autumn, maybe in summer I can give it another chance. I will also add a comment like here to Google comments. Best

All was perfect
Based on the fact there’s no in-room tea/coffee facilities, I probably will not stay again. Also I was unhappy that I was unable to shorten my original booking by 1 day. Instead I had to cancel and re-book, and the daily rate had since increased.
I always am happy to stay at this Hotel and always feel welcome. Staff is friendly and the service great and breakfast as plentiful as always. - shame the the rolls offered for breakfast have changed, While there might be valid reason for this, personally I enjoyed the previous bread rolls a little more. All in all, I had a great stay!

I love it when I make several special requests (in this case a quiet room high up at the back of the hotel, far from the lift and the building site) and the receptionist makes the effort to allocate me a room which fulfils all my requests. Motel One usually does this.

Great room, lots of light. Nice breakfast. Some issues with the elevator, apparently only one of them worked consistently, which makes getting to the room tedious when it is located on the 10th floor!
Great stay - good location, nice and functional room, good shower and good Wifi. Check-in online efficient, staff friendly. And price/performance excellent! I wish other hotel chains were as good, even ones that are much more expensive!
Very good overall impression, as I am used to with Motel One. However, I would like to have freshly made scrambled eggs, omelette or something similar for breakfast!
Fifth time is this hotel sadly this time overall experience wasn’t a good one. Check out was 12 which I confirmed twice with reception. Housekeeping came to the room twice within 1 hour.

Got a room with strong smoking smell. Used breakfast voucher when booking, but at breakfast reception the lady can’t find my room number…
I stay here regularly. Due to the construction site at the back of the hotel, the receptionist advised me to take a room at the front of the hotel, but I found the traffic noise annoying and took a room at the back of the hotel. The room was at the far end from the construction, which began at 7am, so I just put earplugs in before the work started. One of the bar staff gave me a free coffee as I was working in the lobby in the morning. There was some problem entering the car park due to my car being right=hand drive and the sensor didn't work, so the receptionist had to come and let me in manually.
Hello ! the Berlin Tiergarten Motel One Team is perfect. I stay always in this Hotel, when I visit Berlin.....it feels like coming home!

Tell me your hotel is entirely designed for men, by men. I’ll go first: It’s 2024 and you still don’t provide any period products in the bathrooms of your rooms? Also no lid or liner in the trash bin in the bathroom?
Great location and very friendly staff. Rooms are getting a bit on the tired side and the main window in our family room could not be opened and was opaque with only a small (20cm) wide second window. Felt very much like a cell. Breakfast was very good.
Great hotel, convenient, clean and comfortable
This was our fourth stay here at Tiergarten. We were recognised by several members of staff and made to feel very welcome. The hotel gives the impression if being very well run. I can't speak too highly of the friendliness and professionalism of the whole staff.

Motel One Tiergarten is generally a good hotel. If I may comment, then it would be on the ventilation in the bathroom. The lack of it causes lots of damp to remain and towels dont dry well. Also the hooks on the bathroom door are worthless, towels fall off when opening the door. An other remark would be on the breakfast, no scrambled eggs and bacon is BIG missing. A great thing is the opening times of the lobby bar and reception.
Though my luggage was stored by the hotel, I slept in the lobby until the room was ready.
The staff at Motel One Tiergarten were extremely amazing and so welcoming and made our stay so special. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Will be coming back next September again
Very nice hotel with basic compact clean rooms, friendly staff in schöneberg area. Bar and lounge/lobby is a nice meering area.

One of the best hotel I ever stay in last few years. Employees are absolutely amazing so friendly and sweet. And help you with everything so perfectly. I stay here since 2018. And never had any issues. 10/10 I recommend
I was a bit surprised that the standard of the rooms is not like for example in Motel One on Kudamm or Vienna Hauptbahnhof. I've previously stayed at those two and expected the same quality of rooms.
