Excellent location, service very good, unfortunately, the room far too small for 2 persons.

the beds in motel one are a crime against humanity. The hotel should replace the mattresses when they are this used up. I travel a lot for business purposes, never sleep as bad as when I have the bad luck of staying in motel one - so other hotels can apparently manage this somehow. + I would never get the breakfast if I would stay here privately (offers too little value for the money).

I'm a long time customer in different locations and the good standard has been always confirmed, except the Berlin Ku'Damm where I had a not very good experience about he cleaning services in the past.
As usual, my stay at Motel One was quite pleasant. Bacon at breakfast is the only thing keeping Motel One from a 10 score in my view. So, please do consider including bacon in the breakfast lineup. Otherwise, great job!
The room is very clean and quiet. The staffs are very friendly. The morning eggs even had happy faces and nice writing!
We had a great stay at Leipzig Nikolaikirche. We were particularly appreciative of being able to check in a little earlier at the receptionist’s suggestion. We thought the room was well appointed and perfect for a couple of nights stay. My wife’s only comment is she would have appreciated having a face washer towel as part of the towel set.

Almost perfect hotel in a perfect location. In the bar a wider choice of wines would be welcome; and who needs a whole menu devoted to different types of gin! At breakfast is would be good if the eggs were not all hard boiled. Of course facilities for making tea of coffee in one's room would also be good.
Everything was excellent and the staff was very helpful,especially in finding doctors for me.I had some problems and everything was easily solved. Manfred Schneider

Given we stayed 4 nights it would have been nice if the room was cleaned . We got no fresh bathroom items and no water . The latter is surprising given there is no water fountain for refills .
The new beds are not good. Not of high quality and not good to sleep. Something that Motel One was famous four is gone. If it remains the same we would not come back. Sorry.

The staff was great, very friendly and helpful, however I had trouble breathing in the room. The open window helped a little bit, but it felt like there was either too much dust in the carpet or the airconditioning. This unfortunately did not add to a fully relaxing experience. The shower head could have been cleaner as well as the bottom of the shower, some parts had mold on it.

Arriving to the hotel with the company Inditex, with Zara. The S Bahn is only one stop from Leipzig Main station, very convenient 2-3min walk, if you’re quick 1 min. Upon entering the hotel, very beautiful city and building, the staff were the whole week as o was there, very friendly and accommodating, also when our colleagues wanted to sit outside for the cushions and the orders.

A beautiful corner room with the Nikolaikirche right outside. Bring ear plugs if you want to leave your windows open while you sleep as you're close to the center of things. Location couldn't be better!

Love the location. Love the friendly team at the reception and the coffee bar Love the design in the lobby. I do not love, and to be honest very much dislike the intense smell of chemicals in the room. Maybe the idea is to have a "pleasant scent", but it just smells artifical and ugly. Please change that - it really bothers and is a huge downside to the otherwise good experience

Good location for walking and getting around in the city center. Excellent hotel – clean, modern, and very quiet.
Overall, my stay at Motel One was very good. The rooms follow the typical modern and functional Motel One standard, and the breakfast offers a solid selection. A special highlight was the friendly and attentive staff in the breakfast area – they really made the experience pleasant. The only downside is the price-performance ratio. The central downtown location is a big plus, but it’s also reflected in the price. However, if you value a prime location and the reliable Motel One standard, this is still a great choice.

Nocujte na místě, kde se psala nedávná historie. Kostel svatého Mikuláše v Lipsku sehrál v roce 1989 důležitou úlohu při vzniku mírové revoluce v NDR, která nakonec vyústila v pád Berlínské zdi. V našem „baru 89“ připomínáme tyto události a klíčové okamžiky prostřednictvím obrazů a displejů s nápisy. Bar zaujme především svými ručně vyrobenými a broušenými skleněnými cylindry anglické výtvarnice Heather Gillespie na motivy Mírového sloupu, který se nachází přímo před hotelem. Příčky z otočných lamel symbolizují pohyb a povstání, hesla z demonstračních plakátů navozují revoluční atmosféru a jako host se tak budete moci plně vžít do této pohnuté doby transformace. Opakujícím se prvkem hotelového designu jsou svíčky, které připomínají každoroční Festival světel.
Náladu prostředí dotváří závěsná svítidla ve tvaru svící od italského výrobce ilide a nad velkým jídelním stolem trůní lustr s osvětlenými skleněnými špičkami z toskánské manufaktury Il Pezzo Mancante.
V našem hotelu samozřejmě pamatujeme také na naše saské kořeny. Na recepci vás přivítají známá saská úsloví z mořených mosazných písmen. Pokud chcete tato moudra studovat do hloubky, můžete tak učinit z pohodlí našich sedacích souprav italské značky La Cividina. Náš designový hotel leží přímo v historickém centru města vedle kostela svatého Mikuláše, kostela svatého Tomáše a hlavního nádraží. Také zoologická zahrada, výstaviště a letiště Lipsko/Halle jsou odtud jen co by kamenem dohodil.
