Very good location. Room and bathroom have naice size. Very comfortable bed and pillow.
Staff os good, breakfast is better than usually. Local options are good. Room is in not the best state, black mold in the bathroom, dirty curtains, very bad isolation from other rooms and the street. Very cold inside. Room was big but completely empty. I have stayed in many one chain hotels. Even if the room is small, it os cozy and nice. Here the state was questionable
Hotel was in great location, was well presented and beautifully clean. Staff were knowledgeable of the area, very friendly and helpful. Only thing that might improve a stay would be tea/coffee making facilities in the room
Clean, very central and very nice Staff
Two of us spent 5 nights here. We can’t fault it. Everything is just great. Rooms and beds are comfortable, noise from outside not a problem due to excellent glazing, the staff are all (without exception) really nice and welcoming. We love the layout with lobby/bar/reception/breakfast all in one. Decor is cheerful and interesting. Location is superb. We stayed in Motel One in Copenhagen and it’s exactly the same vibe. We’ll always look out for a Motel One when planning our travels!
I love this hotel and have stayed here twice when visiting with my son who lives nearby. The hotel is modern, clean, very comfortable, in a great location, and both times it has been exceptionally quiet which is sometimes hard to find when visiting Europe. They also have a nice breakfast that you can purchase for 15 euros which I found very reasonable considering the offerings. I will be back the next time I come to Madrid to visit my son.
Central, very clean and excellent breakfast
The hotel was lovely. The one drawback was the air conditioning system which struggled to keep the room at a comfortable temperature.
When we make reservation from booking, we are not informed that we are having connecting rooms. Because of noise and talking, I couldn’t sleep for 2 nights.

The room was too hot, and the air condition did not seem to do any difference. So we didn't sleep well during the stay. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice overall, but when we asked for a mailbox they did not try to find one, just replaid that there is probobly one at Plaza Espana.

The front desk staff were consistently courteous and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were modest but clean, which is what matters most. The TV didn’t work, but it wasn’t an issue for us since we were out exploring most of the time. The included breakfast was decent, with fresh coffee and rolls. The location is very central, making it easy to get around on foot for sightseeing. Overall, it’s a solid place to stay.

Once again, I was really pleased with my stay at a Motel 1. The location was great, the rooms spacious and clean, same with the bathroom and the hotel has excellent soundproof windows. The staff is very welcoming and very helpful.
Overall I had a good experience in your hotel. I just have some pain points to share: - the heating in the room is noisy - there was no beverage, such as a bottle of water, available in the fridge (even payant) - the room isolation is not good, I could hear a lot the noise from outside.
Excellent services. I've appreciated the openess of the personell to customer needs and also help with storing luggage until flight hour was absolutely great. I will search further to book Motel One also on other visits from other cities.

The hall is very inviting and well-furnished. The room as well had all facilities, the only downpart was the lock from the inside, it didn't feel super safe. Everything else was spotless and clean I appreciated having gluten-free options for breakfast.

Overall we were very happy with our stay. Fabulous location, spacious and clean rooms, nice modern hotel, staff were attentive and cool. Room had no kettle, tea or coffee or mini bar and just one shampoo/shower gel but that was ok by us. Cleanliness and comfort more important. However, given the cost of the accommodation I would have expected at least more facilities in the room. Also breakfast at €14.50 per person should have had more variety / options . Also the key cards failed twice for one of the rooms our adult children were staying in but it was resolved but this does not happen in other hotels.

Unfortunately there were very few option for a vegan breakfast. I understand cultural differences, but you have many international customers and given the high breakfast standards Motel One usually has, I was sad to be presented with fruit salad and two spreads as my only breakfast options.
Nice hotel, great service and good location
MotelOne is in a great location - close to Plaza de España but wonderfully quiet; mid-way between two Metro stations, both a short walk away; so close to Museo Cerralbo, Palacio Liria, Debod Temple - and so many other sites very close too. The staff were all so helpful with questions we had. The room was spacious and had everything we needed and was immaculately clean. Centrally located hotels in Madrid are expensive but I’d say MotelOne was good value for money.
The motel was well situated and the staff was excellent. That being said - as a habitual hotel goer I was disappointed to know that there was no water boiler or bags of coffee or tea in the rooms. There is also not enough irons and ironing boards to go around. I know a gym might be much but the place can either make a deal with the gym across the street or empty a room and have a makeshift gym. The breakfast price was reasonable but you could tell the food was reheated because it was so dry. The coffee machine made good coffee though. Keycard didn’t work. The electricity cut out a few times during my stay and the water could not stay hot for long with little pressure.
Good location and environment
The hotel was tidy, and the breakfast was quite pleasant. Air conditioning in the room ensures a comfortable stay. If I am in Madrid again, I will stay at your hotel once more.

Great hotel, great service, great location
We stayed for 3 nights (4 days) and it was excellent. The room was modern, spaceous and clean. The room was oriented to the street and restaurants, so there was some noise, but nothig serious. The location is great, very close to a metro station but we often walked to the center (about 15 min). Breakfast had a variety of food (vegan, gluten free) and was delicious. The staff was very helpful and always in a good mood. We had a parking place in a hotel garage (for an additional fee), which is a blessing in big cities in Spain (especially so close to the city center).

Po noci protančené v rytmu flamenca samozřejmě ještě zdaleka není čas vrátit se do hotelu. Město, které nikdy nespí, totiž nabízí mnohem víc než jen hudbu a tanec. Ať už snídaně na impozantním náměstí Plaza Mayor, selfíčko před Královským palácem nebo nákupy na Gran Vía – v kulturní metropoli Španělska najdete od všeho trochu.
Madrid – pokladnice architektury
Architektura Madridu nemá ve světě obdoby. Najdete tu jeden historický klenot vedle druhého. Co byste řekli třeba na prosluněné náměstí? V okolí Puerta del Sol září hlavní město Španělska ze všech stran. Ať už od severu, jihu, západu, nebo východu – ze všech světových stran vítá Brána slunce návštěvníky svou působivou architekturou. Jestlipak to není ideální místo pro kouzelnou silvestrovskou noc? Vždy na přelomu roku se totiž na tomto šarmantním náměstí odehrává při tradičním rituálu doce uvas (dvanáct kuliček hroznů) opravdu atraktivní podívaná.
Další architektonické poklady na vás čekají na Gran Vía. Tato oblíbená nákupní třída se táhne celým městem v délce 1300 metrů. Není divu, že se po ní každý rok projde více než 10 milionů návštěvníků. Díky tomu si vysloužila přezdívku „španělská Broadway“.
Chcete si odpočinout od shonu velkoměsta? Co byste řekli na krátký oddech v parku Retiro? Hned vedle Muzea královny Sofie zve tato zelená oáza k odpočinku a relaxaci, a to na ploše neuvěřitelných 1,43 kilometrů čtverečních. Symbolem tohoto krásného parku je mimochodem památník Alfonse XII. ve tvaru půlměsíce, v jehož centru se někdejší panovník majestátně vypíná na svém oři.
Teď by měli zbystřit zejména fotbaloví fanoušci. I pro ně si Madrid připravil nevšední architektonický zážitek. Estadio Santiago Bernabéu je domovem králů. Ale pozor, řeč samozřejmě není o španělské královské rodině. Pochopitelně máme na mysli Real Madrid. Ať už nervy drásající zápasy Ligy mistrů, velké šampionáty, nebo nezapomenutelná utkání o Evropský pohár – tento proslulý trávník toho zažil opravdu hodně. V roce 1964 dokonce udělal ze Španělů mistry Evropy.
A když už je řeč o králích, také skutečné sídlo španělské královské rodiny rozhodně stojí za návštěvu. BVarokní stavba v srdci Madridu, lépe známá jako Královský palác, láká návštěvníky už z dálky. Toto umělecké dílo, jehož historie sahá do roku 1751, je hodnotné nejen svou bohatě zdobenou fasádou. Také v interiéru má co nabídnout. Nádherné taneční sály jako v Popelce, palácové kaple a zrcadlová bludiště splní vaše dětské sny.
