My stay went very smoothly , a warm welcome, very comfort room and easy check in and out
I would have rated higher overall but to say that I was surprised that the bar staff could not serve me something as simple as a glass of white wine was appalling at the very least! Having been told that there was no white wine available, by a very embarrassed barman, my husband, friend (who is a Glasgow restaurant owner!) and I went elsewhere. This is surely exceedingly bad business practice.
Hotel was lovely to stay at being quite busy but didn't hear a thing once in room which was very clean and warm. This is my second stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
We enjoyed the warm welcome and the relaxed atmosphere in the entrance area. The room was quiet and simple, just what we needed. We will return soon.
Lovely staff, great location and great stay
Very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are beautiful and really pleased that there's a kettle in the rooms which is a great bonus as not all hotels do!
The location couldn’t be better. The room is not large but clean and comfortable. The bathroom is small, yet very clean. Check-in was smooth, and as a member, the late check-out until 3pm was extremely helpful.

I was a guest in Motel One some years ago in Netherlands and I loved my stay there so I decided to choose Motel One for my business travel this time. The room was good, clean and the bed very comfortable. However, I would have expected some personal care products in the room, as cream, and something more for the breakfast that was delusional.

As always we had a lovely stay . Staff are friendly on arrival and all throughout our stay. Room was nice and clean . We like staying here as it is a quiet hotel but also because of its location in the city.

Had a good sleep, the staff were soo very nice with my special requests. My only issues were not the staffs fault. The TV was a bit old and difficult to connect phone to. Didnt use the bar or have breakfast.
Everything was perfect, apart from the room were over heated and the Aircon did not work meaning uncomfortable sleeps and unrest
Had a lovely stay for my best friends special birthday as I’ve been a few times over the years and have never been disappointed. I was just a bit disappointed when we went to the bar to celebrate half an hour later at 4pm to discover no Prosecco which was a shame as we then decided to go out and drink elsewhere.
We use this hotel regularly when in Glasgow and are normally very happy with our stay on this occasion the bar let it down baldy. Many drinks were unavailable on both nights we stayed including lemonade! Also some of the bar staff seemed to have no idea what to do and had to constantly get help from the one member who was competent leading to long waits
Comfortable stay at Glasgow Motel 1. I had a problem with the room I was initially given but the front desk staff were very helpful sorting this out and providing me with an alternative room.
Welcoming staff, comfortable hotel in central location. Go elsewhere for drinks though. The ‘bar’ had no white wine, vodka, apperol spritz or even lime!

Comfortable clean room with modern shower. Cheerful staff on reception and helpful staff on the bar. Very central for exploring Glasgow. This is our third time at Motel One . We will be back.
Excellent clean hotel with a great location. Our sleep was disturbed by what I suspect would be local night club music.
Comfortable bed, good shower, good tea and coffee. No water provided which should have been as I was a member. Breakfast wasn't included in my reservation but I bought it on second day. Replenishment was inadequate, coffee machine ran out, breakfast pastry was raw.

I had a bad experience with my ex partner who followed me to the hotel. The manager on that night was amazing, got rid of him and done everything he could to make me feel safe. It was really appreciate it.

During the night there was a lot of noise coming from the corridors right through the night. This was hard to get a sleep and was an unpleasant experience
The staff was very friendly but my only disappointment was they gave me the wrong remote for my room and asked several times to correct this and did not get a correct remote until the late evening of my stay so did not get to view TV for most of it. " Without TV"
Stayed Thurs 6 Nov. The hotel is great, second time staying. Staff at reception were lovely and facilities were great. But one staff member let your hotel down. The bar man (curlyish dark hair, nose ring, on shift when we were there 545-615) was incredibly rude. He barked ‘who’s first’, when I asked for a prosecco he said sharply, I’m not free pouring, it’s 125ml then stormed off to the back room to get the bottle. Then a queue of people arrived and he looked up as he was pouring my drink and said ‘for fu*k sake’. I was shocked! When I returned to my colleagues - they asked how the barman was and I explained what happened and they said they experienced the same tone. As a charity I spent over £500 for the stay, which whilst I feel that is excellent value for your hotel, every penny has to be justified in our sector and the tone of that staff member has really put a dark cloud over the stay. I’d like to highlight that everything else was great but I do suggest this individual is spoken to. Hospitality is a wonderful and needed sector, creates so many jobs and customer service is undeniably the most important element. Hopefully this feedback is taken constructively.
Issues with hot water, they knew the system had been cleaned but no one bothered to check prior to arrival, Very hot room and VERY noisy, disturbed sleep and worst night sleep ever in a Motel One. Mentioned on check out and weren’t bothered at all and just dismissive. Am due to stay again over the next few weeks, considering cancelling my bookings and those of my work colleagues

I always love staying at Motel One
Comfortable stay in lovely hotel surroundings. Quiet and comfortable bed. Everything I needed. Loved spending time in hotel bar/lobby. Fantastic location. Couldn’t adjust the heating/aircon as I think switch was broken in room 11.05
When k checked in for three rooms, i wanted room away from street, due to noisy roadworks. The two other got rooms away, but not i. When I added he had mixed up, even he had my passport all the time. He might wrote wrong was his explanation. Yeah, I said. You wrote like crap and the he was offended. In sted of doing a proper job, he just didn't care. Not my first time at this hotel but for sure the last.

It's a very nice hotel. Great amenities and interior design.
Great location and lovely helpful staff however some basics are overlooked. For security particularly as a solo female having a door peephole and separate lock are a must. The aircon wasn't working and the room became so hot I had to open a window and deal with the noise outside. Also, the TV signal wasn't working during my stay, I had a handful of channels to choose from, a lot of which weren't watchable. Apparently this was an issue with your satellite which can only be resolved from Germany? A bit ridiculous when you are contained to a room for a whole evening.
As ever, staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, so visit to hotel, just as expected
Great location and feel to the lobby and hotel. But the staff are amazing and make this a hotel to return to.
As usual an excellent stay - good service and comfortable.
We had to leave early as hubby was unwell but room was very clean n tidy. Very quiet also which is always good. Only issue was, the air con didn’t seem to work and as a lady of a certain age, I defo need the air con. Other than that great. Staff very friendly as always.
