Great staff at reception, in room AC stops working during the day, I suppose on purpose? Room could have been cleaner (hairs...). Overall good stay though.
Air conditioning was not good and it was not functioning properly . The room temperature was not optimum to have a good sleep , Breakfast was just repeated again and again , not proper place / tables to sit and take breakfast .

I would want to fix the aircondition in every temperature i want, because i really can not hot places.
Room 117 had no AC and noise and smokers directly below made it uncomfortable. The shower head fell apart and struck my head and hand. Room is way too small for the price. 450 € per night .
The location is very convenient. Our room was nice. The 13th floor was a good place to sit and quietly read, although one afternoon a man, clearly working, carried on a loud phone conversation for about 90 minutes. I thought he should have used one of the private conference rooms. We were there 6 nights and it would have been nice if our room had a view of the Altstadt instead of the train tracks.
Quick check-in, super friendly staff. Location is perfect. Walking from the hotel to the imperial castle was 25-30 minutes. We've stayed at Motel One's before. The rooms are all very similar, but this room was very very warm at night. Even though it had only been 20-22°C during the day. It felt like the fan/AC stopped working after 9pm and started around 9am. We couldn't get it going again manually. Rooms were very quiet, but during the night we had to open a window which made it kind of loud from the noise coming of street. Room and bathroom was super clean! Bed felt comfortable, besides the pillows who were soft. But that's personal I think. Breakfast was very good and no wait time whatsoever. I would definitely recommend tis Motel One.
The hotel is in a very noisy location. The price of breakfast is quite high considering that there is no choice of hot breakfast, such as pancakes, omelettes, etc. Otherwise it met expectations. Perhaps I also see the parking fee as a negative - in most hotels of a similar category it is free.
the hotel is above average, it's a good value for money, location is so good, however, there's some basics which is not there, first, the AC is super awful, i was sweeting in my room while sleeping and during the day, that's because they are not allowing you to change the AC inside the room as their systems controls it based on the temp degree outside, which was super hot in the days i was there. also, there's no water to drink, no kettle, no small fridge for your groceries, and if you need the reception, you have to go down for them as they dont have phones inside the room ( so, if you had an emergency, you need to go down to the reception). and what really bothered me that i asked the receptionist for a bottle of water and she refused and said you have to go to buy it from the bar.
The room itself was fine and the friendliness at the reception was great. The problem was that the aircon could not be activated during the night and it was far to warm in the roon, so I could hardy sleep.
Great location - right next to the train station and across the street from the old medieval section. Room was very nice - super clean. Usually hotels near train stations are a bit “ick” but not this one- not at all.
Reception staff and room were excellent. Service in bar was friendly but slow (and even to the point we left after 10 minutes without being served).
staff is extremely friendly and helpful, pays much attention and is very pro-active! room for improvement would be toppers for the bed to make it softer and to allow reservations for hotel guests in the bar for the evening.
Service was great. Sarah at the front desk is pure magic and happiness in a person. Rooms are small but view was amazing. Rooftop bar is the best in town.

This was my second time staying at the hotel, and it was consistently wonderful. If anything, I wished for more towels (small face-towels) - not sure if those are available or it is a US-thing only :)
Safe was not working (again). Breakfast was overrun and restocked to slow. WIFI was not working. General LTE Connectivity is horrible in the whole building
Considering the cost of the room it would have been nice to have had a complimentary bottle of water in the room!

We booked a room for two, but the room was prepared for only one person and we had to go down to the front desk begging for another set of duvet, towel etc., twice, but we were ignored. We finally received one set in the night after our third try at the front desk. The second night, we had to suffer horrible singing (by drunk hooligans) and banging on the wall in the night from next door. Without earplugs we couldn’t have slept at all. Unfortunately I can’t give you any positive review.

The staff were very cooperative, and I have enjoyed my stay in the hotel.
The hotel’s location is excellent, the breakfast is good, and the rooftop bar is great. However, the cleanliness is poor, the rooms are very, very small, and housekeeping is insufficient.
a joke that invoice was only available in German but not in English, for that reception needed more than 5min., and made unfriendly comment that she can not work and speak at the same time; no smile, appears that the receptionist was more grumpy and stressed than hotel guests

Nette verzorgde kamer, wel nogal klein en er is lawaai (op eerste verdieping) van vrachtauto's en overig verkeer. Ramen kunnen 's nachts niet open blijven. Toch een aanrader, alles was netjes en opvallend schoon.
Goed hotel. Alleen werkt de ventilatie op de kamers niet, 's nachts super warm en aangezien je rechtstreeks aan het centraal station zit, is het openzetten van het raam in de nacht ook niet ideaal. Verder wordt een waterkoker/koffiezetapparaat gemist op de kamer. Ontbijt is ok, maar niet uitgebreid.

Prima hotel en een lekker ontbijt
Vriendelijk personeel en goede service. Kamers zijn schoon, maar wel wat minimalistisch ingericht. Het zou bijvoorbeeld prettig zijn als er een waterkoker is om zelf thee en koffie te zetten. Ook mag wel duidelijker worden aangegeven hoe je de receptie kan bereiken (telefonisch). Daarnaast was het een beetje apart dat er wel voor 2 personen kussens waren maar er was 1 eenpersoonsdekbed.
Perfecte locatie naast de ingang van het centraal station. Geen geluidsoverlast wanneer de ramen gesloten zijn. Uitstekende prijs kwaliteit garantie. Ruime kamer keus (type, grootte, etc) Goed ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel.

Mooi, schoon hotel. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame medewerkers. Prachtig uitzicht over de stad vanuit de loungebar.
Het was verrassend en zag er allemaal mooi, verzorgd en sfeervol uit. Alleen het personeel achter de desk als je binnenkomt, mag van mij nog wel een cursus klantvriendelijkheid krijgen. Ze waren netjes, maar meer als dat kwam er ook niet uit.
Ik houd van Motel One. Ik ben ook in jullie hotel geweest in Barcelona en ik vind de service heel goed en de kamers heel fijn.

Hotel Neurenberg-Plärrer
In ons hotel in Neurenberg breng je niet alleen tijd door in de hoofdstad van de Franken, maar ook in verre melkwegstelsels. Want pal naast de deur is het Nicolaus Copernicus Planetarium te vinden, dat als inspiratiebron diende voor het interieurontwerp van onze Motel One Neurenberg-Plärrer. Grote, glanzende muurfoto´s zorgen ervoor dat je al tijdens het inchecken bij de receptie het gevoel hebt in de oneindige ruimte van het universum te zijn. Astronauten, satellieten en ruimteschepen zweven langs het futuristische loungemeubilair. Stijlvolle lampen doen denken aan sterren en planeten en maken het galactisch-moderne ontwerp compleet. En, schiet daar nou ergens een UFO voorbij?! Nou ja, deze waarneming kan ook te wijten zijn aan het uitgebreide gin-assortiment van onze Motel One bar. Hier kun je zeker heerlijk hemels ontspannen. Comfortabele boxspringbedden, een gezond biologisch ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel, gezellige kamers en gratis wifi dragen hier eveneens aan bij. Uiteraard is dat alles voor de beste prijs-kwaliteitverhouding standaard inbegrepen in ons budgethotel in Neurenberg. Bovendien is ons Motel One, dankzij de centrale ligging aan de Plärrer in Neurenberg, het perfecte uitgangspunt om de stad te verkennen.
De Frankische metropool is niet alleen een bezoekje waard vanwege de braadworsten, de Neurenbergse peperkoek of zijn Christkindlesmarkt. In de directe omgeving van ons designhotel ligt het stadscentrum met bezienswaardigheden zoals het Germanisches Nationalmuseum, de St.-Lorenz-kerk en diverse winkelmogelijkheden.
Aan de andere kant van de Pegnitz is het middeleeuwse historische centrum met zijn vele oude monumenten, zoals het huis van Albrecht Dürer, de Hauptmarkt, de Schöne Brunnen en de Kaiserburg te vinden. Deze kunnen gemakkelijk te voet of met het openbaar vervoer worden bereikt. Want direct voor de ingang van ons designhotel zorgen de tramhalte Kohlenhof, het tramstation Steinbühl en het metrostation aan de Plärrer voor alle belangrijke aansluitingen op het openbaar vervoer. Zo kom je ook van het centrum uit snel en eenvoudig naar de bezienswaardigheden in de verste uithoeken van de stad en naar de beurs van Neurenberg. En voor wie met de trein komt, het centraal station ligt op ongeveer een kilometer van het hotel. Vanaf het centraal station kun je bovendien rechtstreeks van de stad naar de luchthaven van Neurenberg reizen. Over vliegen gesproken: vlieg met ons weg - in Motel One Neurenberg-Plärrer staat een fijn verblijf in elk geval in de sterren geschreven!
