Fantastic Stay again. Friendly staff (Especially Anastasiia, from the bar) greeting me with espresso, can't beat that. Rooms were clean and nice. I did not book it with breakfast since on my last stay there, it was disappointing. The rest, no complaints.

Lovely hotel, great location, friendly welcome upon arrival, good bar with great staff, rooms adequate for what we needed (basic but very clean and family room was great size) and breakfast was okay - busy and a good selection of foods

The room was well apportioned and spacious. And I appreciated the ticket for the free water bottle at check in. Unfortunately, the entrance to the Motel was difficult to find which was frustrating as it was pouring rain when I arrived on July 28. Making it more challenging was the fact that there were no clear signs to a disability ramp where I could wheel my suitcase into the hotel. So I ended up walking around the entire building and having to lug my heavy suitcase up the front steps. I recommend including body lotion in the bathrooms.
Another brilliant stay. Considering I only stay around 2 times a year in Zurich it is always nice to be recognised and welcomed back by familiar staff, notably those working in the breakfast area (sadly I don't recall their names, but the two have worked for you for at least 3-4yrs). The room (413) was great, a good size and very comfortable. As usual, I look forward to returning again, possibly late August.

Great location. Modern lobby decorations, well priced bar food and drinks, but the rooms are on the small side and pretty barebones. No intercom or phone system to connect to the front desk, no coffee or refrigerator. Breakfast was continental so we skipped that and headed to Babu’s on the recommendation of hotel staff. The bed was comfortable and that matters a lot to me. Would I stay here again? Probably if the price was right.

Motel One was clean and quiet. The motel is within walking distance of the lake and the Old Town area. There’s a Migros Express close by as well as restaurants. It’s maybe a 15 minute walk from the Zurich HB train station but there are local trains that can save you the walk.
motel one Zurich is aan de buitenzijde slecht herkenbaar als een motel one vestiging. Verder is niet duidelijk dat er aan de achterkant van het gebouw d ingang bevindt tbv bezoekers die met auto komen of gehandicapt zijn of koffers hebben. . Bij de hoofdingang van motel one Zuriich is alleen een trap met 8 treden beschikbaar, onandiig om daar als gehandicapte of bezoekt met grote koffers de trap te moeten nemen. Geen enkel bordje hangt er met info over bereikbaarheid vn gebouw. Binnenzijde motel one is de lobby/zit gedeelte links niet echt passend bij de motel one styling. het lijkt daar wel en ander hotel. Begroeting en service door de aanwezige hotelmedewerker bij de balie was niet allervriendelijkst, dat viel ons meteen op. Dirigerende toon en wilde direct de namen en paspoorten zien zonder een vriendelijke begroeting, Dat hebben we gelukkig in Munchen en Wenen wel beter meegemaakt die reis. Mogelijk komt het door directe Zwitserse aard maar klantvriendelijk is het absoluut niet. Verder viel op dat bij het ontbijt de staf en manager klanten niet aanspraken op asociaal gedrag zoals het opladen van meer dan 12 chocoladebroodjes op een bord voor een tafel van 5 personen. Die bordjes verdwenen daarna voor ene groot deel in de tas van de Duitse familie. schandalig gedrag waar niets van gezegd werd evenals geproduceerde herrie vanuit iPhones van ouders om kinderen te vermalen met muziek en spelletjes tijdens het ontbijt. De kamer was echter mooi en ruim uitgevoerd. Voor ons blijft het bij dit eenmalige bezoek van motel one in Zurich.
The room could do with a mini fridge. We asked for a family suite but were given an adapted room, the special aid bathroom shower leaked everywhere and this is not easy with little children.
Motel One offers a quite convenient cost/quality ratio and a very convenient location position
I booked my hotel rooms well in advance and at time of check-in I try to book again to see if there’s a price difference and there was a Fr.80 price difference the gentleman at the front desk did not honor the new price he still charged me the same price as I booked Months before. The In room amenities were at bare minimum like a budget hotel in North America. There was no phone to call the front desk. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. I had to physically bring it up myself. Nobody would bring it up there was no conditioner for hair in the bathroom. The air-conditioning system did not work at all.
I stay regularly at Motel one Zurich. There is only thing I would improve: a very basic gym room. Rubber floor for body weight exercises would be suffucient
We made a group reservation for 10 people / 9 rooms. From the beginning of the process to the point of check-out, we were approached as both guests, and in a way, as “old friends.” We were in Zurich for an international study visit via the Embassy of Switzerland in Washington, DC. Location was great and staff were amazing. The hotel was clean. Kettles in the room or even a small fridge would be good in the summer months.
Amazing stay! I usually stay in Sheraton, Hilton, Marriot, etc. But those are beyond expensive for Zurich. This was comparable to a Courtyard Marriot. The amenities in room are limited (no coffee, fridge), but it was quiet, clean, the mattresses were firm, good water pressure and the hotel breakfast / bar area and staff made up for it! And to be honest - Marriot and others have cut back on room amenities as well!
A lovely stay- great location. The staff were amazing especially with my toddler. They couldnt be more helpful or kind. Great bar and breakfast too

We felt so welcomed and cared for by Jeffrey. From the moment we walked in to the greetings each morning and throughout the day, he always had a great smile and addressed us by name even when just passing by in the lobby! What an amazing and kind professional! We will definitely be back!

I want to thank Lorenzo and Luna for being so attentive, for being so responsive to the express and unexpressed wishes that made every night at the bar so enjoyable! I was enchanted and had my breath took away after long days exploring the city, they made me feel i am part of the hotel providing instant and seemless service that feels magical finding always a way to make my wishes come true!
Lokatie was top, personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en de kamer was uitstekend. Schoon, ruim en een fijne inrichting. Dus een zeer fijn verblijf.
Het is geen 10 want het ontbijt kan nog net iets beter door het ontbijt iets te upgraden (met scrambled egg, spek, etc.). Ontbijt is vefgeleken met de rest van de entourage, bar, lounge, kamers net iets te eenvoudig.
Net hotel, vriendelijke bediening en voor Zwitserse normen redelijke prijs en kwaliteit verhouding. Tarieven van consumpties in de bar zijn te hoog tov andere etablissementen in de buurt. Ontbijt is heel karig en onvoldoende.
De warmte van de hotelkamers is echt te hoog om goed te kunnen slapen, zelfs met het raam open bracht dit te weining verkoeling. Helaas heb ik zelf 2x CHF 20 moeten bij betalen om een buro te hebben in mijn kamer waar ik fatsoenlijk met mijn laptop kon werken

Excellente locatie, rustig hotel
Wij zijn trouwe klanten van Motel One‐ keten en wij plannen om te logeren bij alle deze hotel's in Europa .In sommige,meer dan een keer. De hotel's zijn identiek en toch apart door een thema. En de parking onder hotel is de LUXE...Dat heeft Zurich Motel One NIET. Geen compensatie. Wel, hij is nog 100 euros duurder dan anderen...
Zeer goed hotel met vriendelijk personeel en op een goede locatie.
Onvriendelijk en onbeschofte behandeling frontdesk personeel. Zijn alleen met zichzelf bezig en niet met de gasten. Personeel in de bar idem. Laatste keer dat ik met relaties heb geboekt in dit motel.
Prima kamer, maar ik sliep boven de containers. En ik hoorde ‘s nachts dus ongedierte lopen…. Normaal slaap ik met m’n raam open maar heb ik nu dus dicht gedaan. Heb het bij de receptie gemeld, maar die reageerde niet heel begripvol.
Zeer goed geluid isolerende ramen en deuren. Zeer proper.

Welkom in het Motel One van Zürich! Hier draait alles om de bergen, chocolade en de Zürichsee.
Als u de lobby binnenstapt, waant u zich in de Zwitserse Alpen door de gordijnen met hun schilderachtige silhouetten die zijn ontworpen door de Zwitserse firma Christian Fischbacher. In onze One Lounge wordt u tijdens het gezonde ontbijt vergezeld van sfeervolle foto's van de nabijgelegen Zürichsee, zoals een origineel Boesch- bootmodel. Zo krijgt u meteen zin om een dagje aan het meer door te brengen. Onze bar daarentegen staat helemaal in het teken van de absolute topper onder de Zwitserse exportproducten... Hier draait namelijk alles om chocolade: aan het plafond hangen chocoladedruppels en boven de bar blinkt het gouden chocoladepapier. Dan krijgt u toch gewoon zin om de verrukkelijke chocolade te proeven, niet?
Ons Design Hotel in Zürich bevindt zich in de binnenstad, in de buurt van de Oude Botanische Tuin aan de Schanzengraben. De Paradeplatz en de Bahnhofstrasse, de kathedraal Grossmünster en andere bezienswaardigheden in het centrum liggen op wandelafstand. Ook het Centraal Station ligt dichtbij en de Zürichsee is maar even wandelen.
