We loved this hotel. We had an early flight, so dropping our bags off at the hotel in a secure location with a ticketing system was reassuring and allowed us to explore the city until our room was ready. The hotel is in a quiet location and the room was very comfortable. If it had a kettle in the room, it would be perfect. Service was slow at the bar, we wanted to order food one evening, but the waiter ignored us so we left and went to a nearby restaurant. The breakfast in the morning though was outstanding! Regardless of the bar, we would definitely stay again.

Everything at the Motel One in Zurich was wonderful. The room was beautiful and everything was clean and in working order. The hotel staff was friendly and professional. I've already made reservations with another Motel One in another city I'm traveling to. Thanks.
The auto-closing bathroom door is absolutely annoying. The breakfast was acceptable, but far from good (the only vegetables are tomato and cucumber, while EACH cucumber slice is dried out, i dont know how this is even possible to achieve) in addition the overall selection is very limited (e.g. no humus or anything beyond meat and cheese). The location of the hotel is good and was the reason to book the hotel.
It had a nice drinks selection, but it was pricey. The toilets were not so clean.

Monica is the best thing to happen to this bar. You couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming and enjoyable experience without her. She is one of a kind and a fantastic reason to enjoy a nice drink at this hotel. Her recommendations for drinks is spot on and I was never disappointed.

Really poor experience. I really don’t understand why there was a SINGLE sized duvet on a DOUBLE bed? It was very hot and there was no functioning air conditioning. The staff suggested to open the window and but there were no day curtains for privacy so couldn’t do that unless you wanted to be watched by guests in the other 30 rooms overlooking your bedroom.
Very comfortable, relaxing interior and facilities , very good staff and great location. A minor detail would be great if tea and coffee making facilities were available in room.

I really appreciated the design of the furnishings and the essential courtesy of the staff. Points that could be improved: remove the carpet to improve cleaning also considering possible allergies, add a small minibar in the rooms (I understand the philosophy of the bar open 24 hours but it can also be useful for some medications as well as water), reduce the price of breakfast.
Well-located hotel, close to the center but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Super friendly and helpful staff. In the lounge we were very well looked after and the atmosphere was great. Super clean. We recommend it

I was very happy with the overall experience but was somewhat disappointed by the surly and rude attitude of one of the receptionists. I tried to get some printing done and she was unhelpful and impolite.
Great hotel! Exceeded my expectations! Trendy, clean, the stuff is amazing. Fridge in the room would have been amazing tho. The bar is 24/7 and the ladies at the bar so friendly and welcoming. Monica, Luna & Lina - great team! Doing their best to keep their guest happy Thank you very much ! Looking forward to come back soon and stay here again :)

The hotel is amazing! It’s very trendy and very comfy! I’m so happy I chose it! Even tho I never stay in 3* but easily it can be 4* Love it! Especially The girl at the bar Luna is wonderful, she made my stay! She is very friendly, and very professional. So happy to be served by her. Hopefully I be back!
Lovely hotel, great location and easy to find. Staff lovely. Disappointed no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Potentially i didn’t notice at the time of booking. Would stay again.

The staff have been incredibly helpful to our group in looking after our every need. The Hotel itself is kept very clean and functional. Breakfast has been excellent with a good timeframe. The only thing I would like which wasn’t available was water in the room and perhaps a coffee.

Lokatie was top, personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en de kamer was uitstekend. Schoon, ruim en een fijne inrichting. Dus een zeer fijn verblijf.
Het is geen 10 want het ontbijt kan nog net iets beter door het ontbijt iets te upgraden (met scrambled egg, spek, etc.). Ontbijt is vefgeleken met de rest van de entourage, bar, lounge, kamers net iets te eenvoudig.
Net hotel, vriendelijke bediening en voor Zwitserse normen redelijke prijs en kwaliteit verhouding. Tarieven van consumpties in de bar zijn te hoog tov andere etablissementen in de buurt. Ontbijt is heel karig en onvoldoende.
De warmte van de hotelkamers is echt te hoog om goed te kunnen slapen, zelfs met het raam open bracht dit te weining verkoeling. Helaas heb ik zelf 2x CHF 20 moeten bij betalen om een buro te hebben in mijn kamer waar ik fatsoenlijk met mijn laptop kon werken

Excellente locatie, rustig hotel
Wij zijn trouwe klanten van Motel One‐ keten en wij plannen om te logeren bij alle deze hotel's in Europa .In sommige,meer dan een keer. De hotel's zijn identiek en toch apart door een thema. En de parking onder hotel is de LUXE...Dat heeft Zurich Motel One NIET. Geen compensatie. Wel, hij is nog 100 euros duurder dan anderen...
Zeer goed hotel met vriendelijk personeel en op een goede locatie.
Onvriendelijk en onbeschofte behandeling frontdesk personeel. Zijn alleen met zichzelf bezig en niet met de gasten. Personeel in de bar idem. Laatste keer dat ik met relaties heb geboekt in dit motel.
Prima kamer, maar ik sliep boven de containers. En ik hoorde ‘s nachts dus ongedierte lopen…. Normaal slaap ik met m’n raam open maar heb ik nu dus dicht gedaan. Heb het bij de receptie gemeld, maar die reageerde niet heel begripvol.
Zeer goed geluid isolerende ramen en deuren. Zeer proper.
Alles prima, behalve het ventilatiesysteem, deze had een onfrisse geur.

Fijn hotel, schoon, rustig en goed centraal gelegen. Ook heb ik genoten van de binnentuin. Een waterkoker op de kamer zou fijn zijn.

Welkom in het Motel One van Zürich! Hier draait alles om de bergen, chocolade en de Zürichsee.
Als u de lobby binnenstapt, waant u zich in de Zwitserse Alpen door de gordijnen met hun schilderachtige silhouetten die zijn ontworpen door de Zwitserse firma Christian Fischbacher. In onze One Lounge wordt u tijdens het gezonde ontbijt vergezeld van sfeervolle foto's van de nabijgelegen Zürichsee, zoals een origineel Boesch- bootmodel. Zo krijgt u meteen zin om een dagje aan het meer door te brengen. Onze bar daarentegen staat helemaal in het teken van de absolute topper onder de Zwitserse exportproducten... Hier draait namelijk alles om chocolade: aan het plafond hangen chocoladedruppels en boven de bar blinkt het gouden chocoladepapier. Dan krijgt u toch gewoon zin om de verrukkelijke chocolade te proeven, niet?
Ons Design Hotel in Zürich bevindt zich in de binnenstad, in de buurt van de Oude Botanische Tuin aan de Schanzengraben. De Paradeplatz en de Bahnhofstrasse, de kathedraal Grossmünster en andere bezienswaardigheden in het centrum liggen op wandelafstand. Ook het Centraal Station ligt dichtbij en de Zürichsee is maar even wandelen.
