The room was fine but for that price and 3 stars I'd expect at least a kettle with coffee/tea selection. It's a standard offer in Europe. I didn't go to breakfasts as my colleagues told me that it was only cold buffet.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. I would definitely recommend it and would be happy to stay here again.

Appreciated the central location, friendliness of staff and good vibes at Motel One Zurich. Room and bathroom were rather small but ok for me as a single business traveler. Breakfast offer and space were both nice; Bar & Lounge space I didn't use but looked nice. Mobile phones - very annoying on early morning - to be strictly banned from Breakfast space.
The only negative remark about my stay in your hotel refers to breakfast. During breakfast, it tends to get quite congested because the coffee machines are placed in the wrong area. This spot naturally attracts the highest number of people, as most guests go for coffee, which creates a bottleneck. As a result, it is difficult to access the buffet comfortably, and people end up squeezing past those waiting for coffee. In my view, it would work much better to position the coffee machines in a different location — for example, right after entering the dining area. Coffee is usually the first thing people grab, even before looking for a free table, so separating this flow from the buffet would significantly improve the overall experience.

My stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The location is very good and convenient for getting around the city, and the facilities were clean and well organized. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. In particular, John was very polite and helpful and assisted us whenever we needed. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience.
Our stay was truly excellent. The location is ideal, as it is less than a 10-minute walk from the main points of interest, which made getting around very easy and made our overall experience even more enjoyable. What stood out the most, however, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The level of service was outstanding and you could genuinely feel that they care about their guests. A special mention goes to John, who was absolutely wonderful. From the very first moment he was extremely kind, friendly, and always available to help us. He patiently answered all of our questions and gave us great recommendations for the area. Everything he suggested turned out to be spot on and really helped us enjoy our trip even more. The way he treated us made us feel completely comfortable, almost like being at home, which truly makes a difference during a stay We would definitely choose this place again and highly recommend it!
clean, calm room. however I missed a table in the room for working and having calls. Room has carpet, it would have been good to have pair of slippers also a cattle in the room would have been nice. Liked the size of the room.
Hotel is in a great location. The bar has a great atmosphere and Anastasiia was amazing with drinks recommendations!
We always like Motel One and see it as our home in Zurich. The personel is amazing. Very nice, helpful and friendly. My criticisms are the security of the hotel. Anyone can enter the hotel anytime. No one is controlling the entrance & security. This may be a concern for many guests and I think you need to take precautions on this area. It looks like it’s the hotel policy because I realized the same issue in motel One Ulm as well. I have seen many homeless people entering the hotel and using the restrooms. Lastly, the room cleanliness is not sufficient. It used to be better. No detail cleaning is being done anymore and I found a cleaning cloth in my bathroom this time.
I always stay at this hotel because it’s comfortable and well located. Unfortunately, this time my room faced the outside instead of the central courtyard. There’s an indoor cycling gym nearby, and you can hear the techno music they play at 7 a.m., which isn’t ideal if you want to wake up in a quiet environment. Aside from that, the services are good and I usually enjoy my stay.
Usual high standard of design and service. Criticisms relate to room occupied. Room location (GF) required going up a floor and then down again to reach room from reception. Really tedious and would be very problematic for people with accessibility issues. Duvet provided seemed very small (length, width and thickness) - woke up cold during the night.
I often stay at your establishment in Zurich and I appreciate the warm welcome from all the staff. The lobby and bar are very pleasant. However, I have noticed that in some rooms, the white walls are not as clean as they should be. This is unfortunate because the overall level of cleanliness is good, but it slightly affects the overall impression. I would also add that being able to purchase a hot snack during the day and in the evening would make the experience even better.
Bar service was great and friendly service. Rooms are adequate and functional. Breakfast was ok, would have loved some cooked food. Hotel is a bit of a maze and room was quite far away.
A very nice hotel in a beautiful building, staff extraordinarily friendly and skilled. Also, staff was very well groomed. Breakfast was much better than in other Motel Ones. We really enjoyed our stay.
Fantastic room. Everything perfect except the beautiful glass water bottle provided in the room when I opened the seal and the bottle to drink directly from the glass bottle it had a very unpleasant smell around the rim. You need to review your process and standards with regards to the refilling of the water bottles. Being retired airline crew member I or we never use a glass provided in a hotel room.
Dear Front Office Manager, I parked my car and, before checking out, was charged $50. My wife explained to the front office that the delay was due to her injury during the night, which made it impossible for me to move the car within 15 minutes. I also noticed that other cars remained parked for several hours without any charges, which makes this situation appear unfair. During her conversation with the front office, my wife was pressured to pay and was even told to contact the Zurich Police and pay CHF 300. I am very disappointed with this unfair and inconsistent approach, and I kindly request that you review this matter and provide clarification or a refund. Best regards

I enjoyed my stay, the employees were fantastic, I wish the chain would adopt the policy of a mini refrigerator in the rooms.

Great stay! Thanks so much! The reservation process was a little odd as we were with a group. It was 2 parts, which confused many of our attendees. I am not sure if that can be streamlined for future groups. Otherwise, appreciated the staff, venue, and location!

Adding a small, simple kettle in the room is a small thing but such an important amenity for clients.
Easy check-in and check-out. Staff was very pleasant. Took care of our requests efficiently and cheerfully. Helped us with some local directions.
Not more than you can ask for! A clean and comfortable bed, well cleaned bathroom, nice and quiet room. Friendly and service minded staff at the check-in.

Staff was very helpful. Rooms were ready when we arrived an hour before checking in which was very beneficial. Rooms/bed/bathroom were on the smaller side but the balcony was a nice touch for personal space. Tricky to have two suitcases out and opened at the same time unless you’re using the bed. Location was perfect for walking around old town and Zurich Lake. Would recommend.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Check-in was easy and the staff at the desk proved helpful with all of our questions. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a great way to start the day with plenty to choose from and the bar was a welcome stop after our long days. We found this hotel to be centrally located for our visit and a short walk down to the beautiful Lake Zurich. We would definitely stay here again!
Everything perfect except that there was no heating and the room was very cold at night
The key is location followed by great value. The entire property is spotless and the staff is extremely helpful. The rooms are all done in a minimalist and modern motif.

Could not use the safe as the battery was low. Not sure why you offer take-away coffee cups when there were no coffee facilities in the room. The bottled water had a stale taste. Tap water was far better. The TV system is far too slow. Excellent bar staff!
zeer net hotel met vriendelijk personeel. Uitstekend gelegen in het centrum van Zurich.
motel one Zurich is aan de buitenzijde slecht herkenbaar als een motel one vestiging. Verder is niet duidelijk dat er aan de achterkant van het gebouw d ingang bevindt tbv bezoekers die met auto komen of gehandicapt zijn of koffers hebben. . Bij de hoofdingang van motel one Zuriich is alleen een trap met 8 treden beschikbaar, onandiig om daar als gehandicapte of bezoekt met grote koffers de trap te moeten nemen. Geen enkel bordje hangt er met info over bereikbaarheid vn gebouw. Binnenzijde motel one is de lobby/zit gedeelte links niet echt passend bij de motel one styling. het lijkt daar wel en ander hotel. Begroeting en service door de aanwezige hotelmedewerker bij de balie was niet allervriendelijkst, dat viel ons meteen op. Dirigerende toon en wilde direct de namen en paspoorten zien zonder een vriendelijke begroeting, Dat hebben we gelukkig in Munchen en Wenen wel beter meegemaakt die reis. Mogelijk komt het door directe Zwitserse aard maar klantvriendelijk is het absoluut niet. Verder viel op dat bij het ontbijt de staf en manager klanten niet aanspraken op asociaal gedrag zoals het opladen van meer dan 12 chocoladebroodjes op een bord voor een tafel van 5 personen. Die bordjes verdwenen daarna voor ene groot deel in de tas van de Duitse familie. schandalig gedrag waar niets van gezegd werd evenals geproduceerde herrie vanuit iPhones van ouders om kinderen te vermalen met muziek en spelletjes tijdens het ontbijt. De kamer was echter mooi en ruim uitgevoerd. Voor ons blijft het bij dit eenmalige bezoek van motel one in Zurich.
Lokatie was top, personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en de kamer was uitstekend. Schoon, ruim en een fijne inrichting. Dus een zeer fijn verblijf.
Het is geen 10 want het ontbijt kan nog net iets beter door het ontbijt iets te upgraden (met scrambled egg, spek, etc.). Ontbijt is vefgeleken met de rest van de entourage, bar, lounge, kamers net iets te eenvoudig.
Net hotel, vriendelijke bediening en voor Zwitserse normen redelijke prijs en kwaliteit verhouding. Tarieven van consumpties in de bar zijn te hoog tov andere etablissementen in de buurt. Ontbijt is heel karig en onvoldoende.
De warmte van de hotelkamers is echt te hoog om goed te kunnen slapen, zelfs met het raam open bracht dit te weining verkoeling. Helaas heb ik zelf 2x CHF 20 moeten bij betalen om een buro te hebben in mijn kamer waar ik fatsoenlijk met mijn laptop kon werken

Excellente locatie, rustig hotel
Wij zijn trouwe klanten van Motel One‐ keten en wij plannen om te logeren bij alle deze hotel's in Europa .In sommige,meer dan een keer. De hotel's zijn identiek en toch apart door een thema. En de parking onder hotel is de LUXE...Dat heeft Zurich Motel One NIET. Geen compensatie. Wel, hij is nog 100 euros duurder dan anderen...

Welkom in het Motel One van Zürich! Hier draait alles om de bergen, chocolade en de Zürichsee.
Als je de lobby binnenstapt, waan jij je in de Zwitserse Alpen door de gordijnen met hun schilderachtige silhouetten die zijn ontworpen door de Zwitserse firma Christian Fischbacher. In onze One Lounge word je tijdens het gezonde ontbijt vergezeld van sfeervolle foto's van de nabijgelegen Zürichsee, zoals een origineel Boesch-bootmodel. Zo krijg je meteen zin om een dagje aan het meer door te brengen. Onze bar daarentegen staat helemaal in het teken van de absolute topper onder de Zwitserse exportproducten... Hier draait namelijk alles om chocolade: aan het plafond hangen chocoladedruppels en boven de bar blinkt het gouden chocoladepapier. Dan krijg je toch gewoon zin om de verrukkelijke chocolade te proeven, niet?
Ons designhotel in Zürich bevindt zich in de binnenstad, in de buurt van de Oude Botanische Tuin aan de Schanzengraben. De Paradeplatz en de Bahnhofstrasse, de kathedraal Grossmünster en andere bezienswaardigheden in het centrum liggen op wandelafstand. Ook het centraal station ligt dichtbij en de Zürichsee is maar even wandelen.
