Nice hotel, clean and very quiet. Bright and fresh room in a perfect location for the wedding we were attending, great shower and very comfortable bed.
i always enjoy coming to Motel One, in Saarbrücken, it is a most gentle and soothing place, comfortable, close to everything, especially the opera house/theatre. I asked for a room from which i could see the opera house, and the person at the desk was kind enough to comply. i enjoy my stays there, the motel is perfect for my needs. I am thankful. the staff is friendly and supportive. The wine at the bar is too expensive, of course.
The hotel was in a perfect location for exploring on foot or by car with a beautiful view of the river from our window. The breakfast room staff gets high marks from us, as does the front desk staff, and everyone we encountered, whether hotel employees or repairmen working in the lobby area, was unfailingly cordial. We would definitely stay at this location again, and are happy to have added it to the list of Motel Ones at which we have stayed.
Excellent hotel in the center of the city, in easy reach of the theatre and the river, a fine room and comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, the staff is friendly and professional.

beautiful building in the heart of Saarbrücken and its main cultural district, in fact from my room I could the Staatstheater/opera building where i attended a concert during their dance festival. I slept well and was enchanted by being woken up by a sun beam directly on my face.
We are very happy with Motel one and are staying in this Hotel on regular basis. Also we already booked Motel one for next year in Hamburg with the full family.
Could not get to the hotel by car.

De ontvangst was super-vriendelijk en attent. Het hotel is prima gelegen midden in het oude centrum. Wij voelden ons veilig en op ons gemak.
Erg goed bevallen, nette kamer, prima ontbijt, zeer vriendelijk personeel, uitstekende locatie (midden in centrum) en dat alles voor een zeer nette prijs. Als alle MotelOne locaties zo zijn gaan we daar zeer zeker vaker gebruik van maken. Er was ons een wifi code doorgegeven bij de receptie maar niet blijven hangen en had verwacht deze op de kamer terug te vinden, dat was niet het geval vandaar geen beoordeling voor wifi. Het is fijner als die op de kamer kan worden terug gevonden

Property was gorgeous and room was perfect for me. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and willing to go above and beyond! Bar in lobby was great and Yusef....wow! He was amazing at juggling all the tasks, maintaining professionalism, and just such an asset to your team! I met my friend last minute and we just loved everything about your hotel and town! I might even head back one day! 😀
Motel One Saarbrücken is perfectly located for city travelers. Its location on the edge of the city centre means that guests have access to the main pedestrian area as they step outside the hotel while still enjoying peace and quiet around and inside the hotel. The hotel has a lovely outdoor seating area that is green and well shielded from the street. It has lounge chairs and small tables accessible to its guests for drinks, breakfast or just lounging. The rooms are modern and spotless as are the rest of the premises of the hotel. There is a public parking garage conveniently located just across the street (Staatstheater) at a very competitive day rate. It is light and spacious and also offers charging stations for electric vehicles. The staff are the star of the place. Friendly and welcoming at all times they provide uncomplicated, enthusiastic, yet unobtrusive service at all times. Guests feel welcome and well taken care of at any time and the staff, some of whom are familiar faces from a previous visit, give the impression that they not only know their stuff, but that they really enjoy what they do.

Algemeen positieve ervaring zoals ik van Motel One gewoon ben! Bij aankomst leidde de GPS me naar de straat aan de achterkant van het gebouw, eigenlijk voetgangerzone. Ligt het aan mijn GPS of is het officiële adres aan de achterzijde? De parking was volzet, het zou misschien goed zijn ook te verwijzen naar parking P4. Gezellig buitenterras bij mooi weer, daar kon de netheid net iets beter (scherven, peuken)

Very good, as usual. I stay here often. I was a little worried at being allocated a room on the first floor, but it was quiet and I didn't really hear anything from below. It was nice to have a quiet room on the inside of the hotel, as I had requested.

Great but quiet location in the busy dinner and bar scene of Saarbruecken. Premises are beautifully designed and well cared for. Breakfast was all one can wish for.

I always stay at this Motel One. My room smelled so strong of perfume or something that it made my eyes water. I opened the window and the smell would dissipate. When I left the room and returned the smell was back. I alerted the front desk who came up to see where the smell was coming from. They couldn't locate the smell and offered me another room. I declined moving as I had already had my things unpacked.
Great experience and perfect locaion
Overall a very nice hotel and experience. The only thing I was shocked was the price for my Gin Tonic. 20€ is (even for a good Gin) quite a lot and I wasn't aware about this price when ordering - yes, it was my mistake, but it would have been nice to get a head up on that price before. So, just a minor remark.

Hier aan de Franse grens leeft en denkt men grensoverschrijdend. En dat zien we ook terug op de menukaart: van een evenwichtig biologisch ontbijt tot een haute cuisine met een Franse touch 's avonds, alle wensen worden vervuld. Of wat denk je van Dibbelabbes? Dit aardappelgerecht is een typisch gerecht uit het Saarland en wordt bereid in een gietijzeren 'Dibbe' (kookpot). Zodra je het één keer hebt geproefd, wil je meer.
Goedkope designhotels in Saarbrücken - jouw Motel One
In Saarbrücken is er heel wat te beleven, maar je kunt er ook voor kiezen om je gewoon te laten onderdompelen in de stadssfeer met een licht Frans karakter. Al sinds 1978 is de oude binnenstad alleen toegankelijk voor voetgangers. Dat maakt dat het heel aangenaam vertoeven is in de vele cafeetjes en restaurants. En wanneer je zin hebt om te dansen, ga je gewoon een van de clubs binnen. Dit gebied is klein en iedereen gaat hier heel familiair met elkaar om. Niets moet, alles mag.
Het kasteel van Saarbrücken, een residentie uit de baroktijd, werd in de 18e eeuw gebouwd door de architect Friedrich Joachim Stengel. Stengel is ook de bedenker van de Stengelpromenade, genaamd Stengelsche Dreieck. Deze benaming komt van de drie visuele assen waarop zich vandaag de dag het kasteel, de fontein op de markt en de Ludwigskirche situeren. Herken je de driehoek?
Na een uitgebreid stadsbezoek is het tijd voor een tussenstop in onze One Lounge of… voor een winkelmoment. De vele boetieken en winkels rondom de St. Johanner Markt en de Bahnhofstraße zijn een echt shoppingparadijs. Events zoals 'nocturneshopping' en zondagsopeningen zorgen ervoor dat de shopaholics met bomvol gevulde tassen naar het hotel terugkeren.
En wanneer je later naar een moment van rust snakt, kun je niet alleen terecht in onze One Lounge, maar ook in de buurt van ons hotel zijn er heel wat rustige plekjes te vinden. Het is dan ook niet voor niets dat Saarbrücken bekendstaat als een ongelofelijk groene stad. Tal van parken, bossen, weilanden en beekjes bepalen mede het stadsbeeld. Sportliefhebbers kunnen zich uitleven op de 42,5 km lange stadsrondweg 'Sieben Steine weisen den Weg'. Geen zorgen, je hoeft niet aan één stuk te lopen en ook nog eens terug te lopen. Er zijn voldoende plekjes om even tot rust te komen en ook een heleboel bushaltes! Saarbrücken is echt een pareltje onder de citytrips en zal zonder veel omhaal maar met veel charme jouw hart weten te veroveren. Wees daar maar zeker van.
