Location was great. Close to transportation and shopping. Room was clean and very quiet, which surprised me because our room faced the street and was right next to the elevator. But we didn't hear a thing. Folks at the reception were wonderful. Always friendly and very patient with us when asking for directions or places to go. Lobby was cozy in the evenings to just sit and have a drink. I would definitely stay at this hotel again should I be in Amsterdam.
Everything great. The only thing missing that there wasn't a plastic bag in the trash can

Very friendly staff. Hotel in a great location close to places of interest and good bars and restaurants. We didn’t have breakfast or use the bar/lounge but both seemed very popular. Room had everything you needed and beds very comfortable. We would stay again!
Bare bones room no amenities. Room was too hot.The only way I could cool it down was to open the window, which made it exceptionally.Noisy.

I am sorry, I am actually a big Motel One fan but this time I was quite shocked. I booked two nights and after the first night I saw a big disgusting dirty stain on my bed that was NOT from me. I almost got a rash in my body as I was so disgusted. I then left down to the lobby to complain and I was surprised to see that the lady was neither shocked nor surprised she literally said: thank you for informing us and we’ll change the sheets. That’s it. I mean this Motel One was the priciest from all Motel Ones I ever stayed in (Barcelona, Vienna, Rostock) and I expected a better service then this. I am still quite shocked to be honest.
I stayed at Motel One Amsterdam Waterlooplein for three days during my business trip, and I had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and positive throughout my stay. I would especially like to thank the hotel manager, Konstantinos Konstantos, who was exceptionally kind and helpful. As I was new to Amsterdam, he took the time to guide me with local information and directions, which made my stay much easier and more comfortable. Their positivity and support truly made my business trip more enjoyable. Wishing the entire team all the very best!
location was good, but the room does not worth almost 250 euro per night , at most 100 or 150 Euro per night, it did not have cupboard, slipper, garbage bin, not any place for your luggages, not big

it was a really nice stay in Amsterdam. Good location, close to the city centre but not in the mess, stuff and else we perfect, I would definitely stay here again! the only thing that was really annoying me was that the room felt a bit cold, and we couldn’t warm it up using the air conditioner.

Very enjoyable. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Location was great. Rooms were clean, tidy, modern. Breakfast included plenty of tasty options. Only slight criticism is that the room was warmer than I would like, and the temperature controls didn't seem to have much of an effect.

We really enjoyed our stay at Motel One. We were only able to spend one night, but I would stay again and highly recommend it. The staff was very personable and gave us a map of the area and suggestions for meals.

The hotel itself is nice, well located and has friendly helpful staff. I felt the rooms were a bit too small for a couple sharing and the bed was two singles joined together rather than a proper ‘double bed’. The breakfast was nice but I generally expect a hot food option when paying for breakfast. Overall it’s a nice hotel and I enjoyed my stay.

Great location, friendly staff, clean room, nice decorations. Only downsides that the room is maybe 2 squaremeters too small and need something to put your suitcase on at the floor.

Nice hotel close to the center of Amsterdam. Very quiet, at least in rooms facing the backyard. The same level of service and friendliness as in every Motel One we’ve been. My wife has had a minor accident visiting a museum and the reception staff helped us with advice about doctors and ice packs to relieve the swelling. The only drawback is the relatively small breakfast area. One day it was impossible to find an empty table and we had to wait for a while. When we could accommodate the staff started to take away dishes because it was already closing time.
Motel one was great from the moment we walked in the friendly staff I had spoken to Larissa very helpful and great to talk to the check in procedure was quick and answered all the questions well done ur a star we will defo be back soon
A bit a small room - yet we booked the cheapest, so, I do not think we can complain. Clean. Easy check-in and check-out. Left the luggage for the whole day there- well organised. Took breakfast ad hoc - good breakfast including good coffee machines.

Stylish ground Llorenc reception and bar . Rooms very disappointing for the price . We were staying for 6 nights , and lterally nowhere to put clothes , or hang shirts . Extremely small room , and very noisy with the window open . We had to shut the window at night , as it was impossible to sleep with traffic noise . Hotel okay for a 1 night stay , but would not recommend for any longer stay
Nice design, very friendly staff, good breakfast and nice lounge. Unfortunately one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed. The bathroom ventilation system runs continuously at a frequency that makes you feel like someone is using a hair dryer or that you live next to an airport. With open windows, the noise is bearable, but since it is located on a busy street, you cannot sleep with the window open because of constant police and ambulance sirens.
Staff is so friendly and helpful!! Definitely recommend this hotel. Walking distance to train station and shopping/restaurant areas.
This Hotel was so welcoming and comfortable. The lounge area was awesome, for a quiet time in the morning, breakfast was outstanding, the staff was the best I have ever experienced.
We enjoyed the excellent staff. The design of the hotel is nice. The breakfast is rich and tasty. The rooms are a bit small with space only for one armchair, and without a desk. The bed was very comfortable. We did not like the music in the lobby, both during breakfast and in the afternoon and we would suggest to put calmer and more harmonious music.
