Too expensive: 129€ room only for a small room with limited facilities. Disappointing that there was no kettle, no water.
Zeer plezierig hotel; uitstekende plek in de stad
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel both in Rostock and Hamburg. The staff is excellent and very patient and ready to help with any request, including explanations about places to visit. The room is comfortable and meets the requirements. The breakfast is varied and rich.

My room was comfortable and quiet. I appreciated that it looked out on the park behind the hotel. I visited in the summer and appreciated being able to open the window. The free wifi was easy to access and reliable. The breakfast was tasty and offered a nice selection. I especially liked the portraits of fishermen from the region that were displayed on the breakfast room wall. The only thing missing is that I would have appreciated lotion in the bathroom.
Friendly staff, clean room. Bed was very good as expected but the room had a weird smell.

Motel One is actually a very good hotel. However, during this stay, there were unfortunately a few things I had to complain about: 1. The water drained very slowly from the sink. 2. The card slot for the room lighting had a loose connection, leaving me suddenly standing in the dark in the bathroom. 3. The allocation of parking spaces in the underground garage was insufficient.

Attractive outside, in lobby, in room, in hall. Creative design. I like the small rooms and lower price than large hotel chains.
Just short of a fair money-for-quality ratio consideration. Liked the reception hall and the friendly atmosphere though. I would recommend for one night which means for sleepovers and with caveats, but unfortunately it is inadequate for me. Room is too small and lack basics. I only mention the one non-negotiable basic that will prevent me to book again at this specific property: a table to accommodate a standard laptop a mouse and a cup/bottle. The dwarfed table provided is nice and “proportionate” to the dwarfed room, but completely inadequate. Other secondary basics I can live without are tea/coffee facility, fridge, few non-German language TV channels (BBC News ok, but the only one).

I love MotelOne. The style, the price, the pillows and blankets. All very nice. Oh and I like the minty shower gel and hand wash.
Motel ones always have a good standard, home furnishing and great breakfast.

Very quiet (room towards the backyard) and very clean. Everyone was very friendly. Great location in the center of the city. Wi-fi was fast and good for working. Had a relaxing stay.

The Motel One in Rostock is a comfortable hotel in an excellent location between the station and the historic town centre. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed, a desk and an en-suite bathroom. The breakfast was excellent (except for the typically weak hotel coffee), and the staff were welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay in Motel One Rostock very much. Very good services and breakfast. Convinient location to many interesting places in Rostock.

Very fast and quick check in, no problems to check in at 14:oo h, clean rooms and we could choose between two different side of the hotel, very nice staff
Friendly staff. Late Check out was granted. The only thing I have to moan about is that the curtain do not cover the window completely which impacts the sleep quality. The room was very warm. Location is superb and breakfast is really good although it can be challenging to find.a place to sit nearby the buffet.
Overall everything was fine, just no WiFi in the room during the two days.
Staff was excellent and helpful. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and my experience was just right.

I enjoyed my 1-night stay very much. I arrived very early in the day but was allowed to check into my room immediately which made a huge difference! All the staff were extremely helpful and my room had a lovely view over the very central area of Rostock.
Very good for the price. Small details could be better, like a bottle of water and/or kettle in the room, a little fridge and warm food for breakfast, but neat, clean, cosy, nice lounge / bar. And very good location. I would go back there if I need to come in Rostock again.

Nice clean rooms (a little bit small, no wardrobe, no "big light") Very nice breakfast, only minus is that there is not much choice of cheese (just 2 quite bland sliced cheeses, no soft cheese, flavoured cheese, no variation between the days) very nice and cozy lounge/bar room very nice and friendly stuff

Fijn hotel, goede sfeer,,vriendelijk goed personeel Minpunt: geen mogelijkheid je toilettas te plaatsen in badkamer. (Geen planken of rek om op te zetten) terwijl badkamer groot is en er gemakkelijk een rek voor toilettas zou kunnen zijn. Ook op de wastafel is er weinig plaats .

Op ontdekkingstocht in de Hanzestad aan de Oostzee
De levendige studentenstad en het oude Hanzecentrum. Maritieme nonchalance en een vleugje van de grote, wijde wereld... Als moderne grootstad heeft Rostock heel wat interessante musea, exclusieve restaurants, culturele evenementen en een aantrekkelijk winkelgebied, en uiteraard is er ook het strand van Warnemünde, bijna direct voor het hotel.
Als gast in ons designhotel in Rostock bevind je je op een steenworp van vele unieke bezienswaardigheden en direct aan de ingang van de winkelstraat van de oude binnenstad.
En net zoals elke Hanzestad heeft ook Rostock een haven. Even wandelen en je kunt op de promenade de zeelucht opsnuiven. De vele tavernes en grote historische hallen zorgen voor een ontspannen atmosfeer. Ook het uitzicht vanaf de Kanonsberg nabij het vissersbastion over de haven loont echt de moeite.
Wil je meer zee zien, dan moet je naar Warnemünde. Met de metro ben je er zo. Doe net zoals de inwoners van Rostock en flaneer bij mooi weer over de strandboulevard, eet een broodje vis met de voeten in het zand en bespied de cruiseschepen. Droom je van verre landen en stranden? Dan ben je vast niet de enige op dit strand.
Tip: als we terug naar Rostock gaan, breng dan eens een bezoek aan de vele clubs of bars in de oude binnenstad of de haven. Hier gaat het er lekker nonchalant aan toe - wie in Rostock is, is allergisch voor hectiek!
