We, 2 senior couples, came with much luggage. No help was offered. NO luggage carts were available. NO coffee in the rooms. To get a morning coffee was Euro 6.00 for a small cup. We found this 'gauging'. For the room price we think a morning cup of coffee/tea should be provided free of charge.
The hotel was absolutely perfect! The staff were kind, efficient and helpful and the property itself was very well maintained. In fact, I didn't want to leave. The location is amazing. Truly a wonderful and perfect experience all around and I highly recommend Motel One.

The property is ideally situated with convenient access to local cultural landmarks, and guests can anticipate exemplary service within these sophisticated surroundings. However, despite having one duvet and one towel for two adults, after showering in the stall, the floor in the toilet room becomes completely wet, requiring us to wipe it with the bath mat every time we bathe. Since we only had one bath mat, the bathroom floor outside the shower stall would become flooded by the next shower. We suggest addressing the water accumulation issue that occurs after using the shower, as improving drainage efficiency would substantially enhance guest comfort. We appreciate the opportunity to provide this feedback to ensure a consistently high-quality experience.
This hotel is simply top. Cheap, clean rooms, parking, nice lobby and bar, fifty kinds of Gin!
Perfekt gelegen, alles sauber.
alles posistief,1 min puntje aan de receptie was een blonde dame die niet zo vriendelijk was. twee voorbeelden: ik had een probleem met de laadpalen in de garage, haar antwoord kan ik niets aandoen is van een externe firma, tweede stelde ik in het Engels een vraag aan haar collega, die vroeg het aan haar in het Duits en zij antwoorde die collega in het Duits in plaats van mij direct te antwoorden want ze wist dat ik ook Duits sprak.
Check in was not good… booking had been done by an agent but the reservation number allocated to us had been already taken according to your computer. We were told that we had no room. After our agent was phoned it was resolved. NO apologies offered. I know mistakes happen but saying sorry fixes a lot. Also room was Very small!

Uitstekend verblijf! Voor de tweede keer la zijn we hier. En niet de laatste. We missen allen wat meer aanbod van snacks in de bar. We zitten iedere avond beneden en zoude het fijn vinden wat meer opties te hebben. Ook mis ik drinkwater in de kamers.
Motel One in Dresden Zwinger is another top Motel One. Nice lounge and bar area along with great employees. You can’t beat the location.

Modern hotel close by center of Dresden. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Service was great! Kilian helped us made our stay very comfortable. Would stay here again. Only missed a coffee/thee maker in room.

The hotel was ok, but the unjustifiable fact that we had no internet and no television for two (!!!) days was extremely disappointing.

Everything was ok.
I had booked parking and only when I arrived was I informed that the parking was full. Giving a bottle of water at the reception is rediculous. Should be a daily complimentary service in the room - this is not a low cost. Breakfast area where the food is should be redisigned can get really croudy. Very small room and what is meant by "with view" is really subjective, as my view was not a nice view.

The hotel is beautifully situated in the heart of Dresden. The room was wonderfully appointed. The design is great, using every possible space in a room wisely. It would be good to have body lotion available. It's a simple plus that completes the shower experience. Also a big note of thanks to Felix who provided such useful tips to the city, everything from museums to restaurants. He's knowledgeable and enthusiastic and picked up quickly on our interests.

Fijn bed. Kleding halen, maar geen kast. Ontbijt zonder warme keuze, bv roerei of spek, wel jammer.

- the room was over all very nice and clean, though there were some spots with dust (dust-threads on the ceiling, some corners). - the breakfast was good, all standard things were there, nothing extraordinary (I'm personally a fan of warm breakfast, but I understand, that this is potentially logistically challenging) - I had two sets of towels in the bath, even though I only needed one set as I booked single. This could be improved for sustainability, if the service staff knows which rooms are booked single or double. - On the topic of sustainability, I liked the option to foregoe room service. I also like the (now standard) notices about optionally not changing the towels everyday. I did not experience whether you actually follow those (most other hotels I have seen those notices at, sadly did not). - I liked the fireplace on the TV when I came into the room, it made it quite cozy. - If it is not a fire hazard issue, decoration in the staircase (paintings or similar) could invite more people to take the stairs instead of the elevator.

We enjoyed our stay at this perfect place with super friendly staff, great breakfast. From this location, all important hotspots of the city can be reached by foot. If you want to visit Dresden, this Motel One at Zwinger is the place to be. The booking was quite easy via the Motel One app, I changed later by e-mail our check out date with friendly hotel staff.

Mooi hotel op een super locatie. Leuke en schone kamers, goed ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel. Ook heel fijn dat er (goede) fietsen gehuurd kunnen worden.
Locatie geweldig. Vriendelijk personeel. Kamers klein, maar schoon en mooi, zo ook de badkamer. Ontbijt duur en chaotisch. Iedereen moet bukken voor borden en kopjes. Goedkoop parkeren in Semperoper. OV voor de deur. Gezellige lounge om nog een drankje te doen. Aanrader !
Uitstekende ligging, prachtig ontbijt. De kamer was OK, maar kon iets breder zijn.
Super leuk en interessant ingericht hotel. Kamers zijn altijd netjes en schoon. De bar was dit keer bijzonder smaakvol ingericht, met vriendelijk personeel en een zeer ruime keuze.

Keurig verzorgde en schonen kamers enz Het was 's avonds erg druk in de Lounge van het hotel. Wachttijden voor een bestelde drankjes voor een groep van 10 personen duurde meer als een half uur !!!!

Hotel Dresden-am Zwinger
Het design van Motel One Dresden-am Zwinger is geïnspireerd op het porseleinmuseum in de Zwinger. August II, de Sterke koning van Polen, was al gek van het 'witte goud'. Daarom heeft deze adellijke vorst een ereplaats gekregen aan de wand van onze One Lounge. De detailtekeningen uit het museum, figuren van originele Meissen-porselein en Skygarden-verlichting van FLOS maken eveneens deel uit van het designconcept. In de schaduw van de bogen vind je onze grote Outdoor Lounge met zeven klaterende fonteinen. Achter de bamboestruiken is het heerlijk vertoeven en ervaar je van dichtbij het reilen en zeilen op de Postplatz.
Wie in ons designhotel in Dresden overnacht, overnacht tussen de barokke pracht van het oude stadscentrum. Het hotel ligt direct aan de Zwinger en ook andere bezienswaardigheden liggen niet veraf: het Residenzschloss Dresden met zijn Historische Grünen Gewölbe, de Semperoper en de Frauenkirche. Ook de beroemde Striezelmarkt ligt op wandelafstand en in de kersttijd zijn de kerststollen van Dresden en glühwein onweerstaanbaar.
