Nice hotel, good location and friendly staff
It's always a pleasant experience to stay at Motel One in Dublin. The reception staff as well as the staff in the breakfast room are so friendly and welcoming.
Your entire staff was very polite, helpful and professional. That includes the bartenders and servers.Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!! I would recommend you anyone coming to Dublin!
Excellent hotel, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Extra thanks to the hotel manager Brian who really helped out and made our stay great!
Lovely hotel - ideal for overnight stay. Clean and tidy. Great location. Also good competitive prices for Dublin.
Very small rooms; few amenities (only 2 paper cups, no water which we had in every hotel we stayed in Ireland; only 1 chair). Location was excellent. Price of the room seemed inflated though which influenced scoring.
Excellent location in Dublin; right on tram line that takes you to both main train stations; walking distance to Temple Bar area, Trinity College and lots of restaurants, pubs and shopping.
Perfect located, very friendly and helpful stuff, nice and big rooms - everytime in Dublin again.
Breakfast options should vary slightly. I don’t believe the hotel has a restaurant, but the breakfast could stand to have a little bit more variety on offer. Our stay was comfortable and quiet, very centrally located, and staff was friendly. It was more pricey than normal rates, but that is to be expected when it is a big weekend for Dublin due to the NFL football game.
Great location with friendly staff. Nice room with good facilities. Very nice bar area for drinks and relaxing.
Only negative was that we pre booked a Taxi the night before through the Front Desk only to find in the morning that it had not been order. by the time we got a new one order, we missed our train and had to purchase new tickets. when we returned for 1 more night stay, we told the Front Desk what it had cost us, no compensation was offered.
beautiful room, Within walking distance to all that we wanted to see, Great breakfast.
Hotel was very clean and staff was very helpful and accommodating. hotel had everything we needed, was a great location for sight seeing and entertainment.
Top notch property. Charming decoration and quiet room facing a sun-lit ventilation shaft that made it feel quite private and restful. Loved the James Joyce theme. Breakfast of continental cold meats and cheese with three coffee machines was simple way to start the day. Would stay again and will recommend to friends.
We enjoyed our stay at Motel One. Reception staff were excellent and most helpful.Rooms were clean and adequate. Breakfast was very good. Motel in an excellent and central location. Would stay there again if visiting Dublin.Thank you
The staff was very good to us We stayed for two weeks so we interacted frequently The most helpful were: Cecelia, Fahad, Yusuf, Megan, Miguel and Matheus were the most charming people imaginable. The hotel should offer small refrigerators for those staying there for an extended amount of time!
Clean and comfortable room with good service. Reception staff were good with special mention to Stacy who was very kind and helpful.
Very friendly staff, clean rooms, a bit over-priced continental breakfast. You could raise the price of the rooms by 15 per night and include the breakfast and you would win. some people would still opt to eat elsewhere, and those who do eat will not go into sticker shock but instead see it as a good value that it's included. Also, and we may have missed this somewhere in the booking literature, it would have been nice to have know the parking situation. We were traveling from outside of Ireland, new to the sity, and it was just through luck we happened on the parking garage connected to the shopping mall.
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff looked after us and were very welcoming
Room is small but tidy and has all the amenities. Parking is extremely expensive and there's no hot breakfast. Staff was very nice every step of the way.
Room could be bigger but location was spot on. Staff only wanted to help you. We loved our stay.
Very good location, had everything I needed
Wonderful experience overall. Clean, central location, friendly staff. I would have loved to stay longer but the price was prohibitive (though in line with the other hotels in the city).
Great location; close to everything restaurants, shopping, landmarks, and the hop on hop off bus. Rooms are small but comfortable. The lobby is spacious- lots of places to sit and read or chat. 24 hr bar a plus.
Nice hotel, great location and friendly helpful staff. We had a very good experience during our stay.
The staff is great! Super friendly and attentive, specially at the bart. Front desk was super helpful as well and they took the time to explain everything. The bar looked amazing and super clean. I had two glasses of prosecco and it was the best prosecco I’ve ever had. Breakfast was delicious; the pastries were so fresh and the selection of cold food was incredible. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.
Great location and facilities fine for an overnight break Only issue is I was given a disabled room, which due to time constraints I couldn’t change. Otherwise all fine
This hotel is ideal situated and within walking distance to some of the best shopping Dublin has to offer. The staff in the hotel are friendly and always helpful.
Location is really good, beautiful decor, excellent breakfast and friend staff! The beds are super comfortable and for once, a hotel pillow that was comfortable!! Only thing from giving you a 10 are the bathroom towels, they are rough and not very soft.
Great service and very pleasant staff. I will return to this hotel anytime. Thanks
Well enjoyed our stay, staff very helpful. Found the mobile room key helpful for our first evening as we arrived quite late!
Only stayed for one night. Easy check in, comfortable bed and great shower. The room was nice and warm and grateful for the safe in the room. Customer care at checkout was great. Close to fantastic restaurants and pubs, I recommend this hotel.
Hi, We were very satisfied with your hotel. The quality, location, staff, everything was excellent. Thank you. I would also like to mention that your Lounge & Bar employee ‘Yusuf’ and your Reception employee ‘Mafleu’ were very attentive and friendly. I am very grateful to them for their care and assistance. I would also like to mention one issue. We came as a group, but on the first day, the air conditioning in my room was not working. The weather was particularly cold for us, and since there was no heater, I got very cold and fell ill the next day. Due to occupancy, they only changed the room the next day, and I was able to sleep without feeling cold. So, in such situations, you should keep a portable heater in your hotel as a precaution. After all, we're in Dublin, not Hawaii.. :)
Great location. No wash cloth provided. No shampoo. Body wash pump broken. I wasn’t paying attention and used my room key to open what I thought was my room. It wasn’t my room but the key opened the door anyway. Room was tiny.
Nice hotel in the centre of Dublin. Good breakfast.
I really loved my stay at the Motel One in Dublin. The check in person (Juan) took excellent care and gave me the room I wanted not facing the street side. I had a very good sleep that night and could leave rested for my onward journey. And like always - the breakfast experience is great at Motel One. Love the selection and that you offer fresh and local things. One minor thing - a body lotion would've been nice
Great location, reasonable rates, very clean, nice decor. Everything I needed for a short stay in Dublin
Great location! The rooms are comfortable with a nice bed. Rooms are small however - not ideal for a longer stay. Breakfast options were typical fare, nothing stood out there. The staff were kind and helpful. The hotel is clean and in good condition. I’d stay here again!
Great but needs a refresh for furnishings
everything was very good and functional, just a bit too essentials. For the breakfast i would have appreciated a bit more salty options like scrumbled eggs or baked beans. The room was clean but a bit small, maybe an inprovement could be a little to go beauty essentials like q-tips.
Great location in right in the middle, The bar was very welcoming and the rooms were lovely and clean and the staff were so polite and always there to help.
When I stay in Dublin City I always stay here.Central to everything, great staff, always very helpful and always have a big friendly smile to greet you. I just would not stay anywhere else, this hotel and staff are simply fantastic…
Very expensive to stay
The hotel has a very cool and spacious common area on the main floor. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was in a great location, near the Liffey and close to some excellent cafes and restaurants. The staff were friendly and kind. However, the room was tiny, and there was no real coffee available in the room, no bedside table and no small fridge. I felt tue hotel was wildly overpriced.
Small room, weak shower, no minibar. Breakfast disappointing for a 4-star hotel: no Full Irish Breakfast, omelette, sausages, or vegetables. Little variety and no local specialties.
Good experience. Close to Temple Bar and the main attractions of the city.
This wasn’t my first stay at motel one and as always they do their best for me to have a comfortable stay. At reception I was greeted so nicely by Stacy, sweetest girl made sure I was informed on everything I needed to know. Another great stay here!
Staff is always super friendly, rooms are clean
Great location. Walking tour most tourist places and short walk from the Dublin Express airport stops. Friendly staff. Only complaint was that the standard rooms are quite small for 2 guests. Great for short stay for a couple of nights.
Good value for money and a nice room. Desk slightly too small and shower was lacklustre, socket situation also minimal compared to other hotels in the area.

Our city hotels in Dublin offer comfortable accommodation in the centre with excellent connections to public transport. Not far from the hotel, you’ll also find Dublin’s Jeanie Johnston museum: on a replica of a ship that took Irish emigrants to North America in the 19th century, history is made tangible. Further out from the hotel in Dublin, but definitely worth the trip on public transport, the former Kilmainham Gaol prison has been converted into a thought-provoking museum. This is where political prisoners were once held.
