Everything was realy nice, clean room and good service. The only thing we missed was warm food for breakfast, scrambled egg and bacon.
- unfortunately -however independent of the Hotel- late at night the street swiping machine makes considerable annoying noise louder than the luasline, otherwise room just fine - when booking with the App lately regularly a system/network error comes up, that then vanishes when simply retrying during the process - still a blood pressure enhancing event :)
I had a really nice time and special thanks to Eva on receiption (I think thats her name! Or Evie?) who was extremely helpful with allowing me to check in a little earlier and out a little later.
Very comfortable, a call out to Paloma at reception/check in who was exceptional.
Motel One. Five star check in experience with Aoife at reception . She was reassuring and charming . The two room allocation was made in the spot according to our traveller needs. The location is incredible for shopping and going out . The ambience is calm and friendly . I love the continental self-service breakfast . This is ease and efficiency . Good value. Will definitely stay again . Great staff
This was a standard room, nothing special but clean and neat. We only stayed one night, but the location would have been good for sightseeing. The only down side was the tram noise right outside the hotel. It went on until about 11 PM. Just be aware of this if you plan to keep the windows open. The standout was the young man at the front desk who checked us in. He was extremely pleasant and provided excellent service.
Well positioned near Dublín city main points of interest / staff ok / breakfast really good/pillows not so good
My stay was comfortable and staff extremely friendly!
The only concern was regarding the room windows. This detail was not clarified at the time of booking. The stay was a brief getaway for an anniversary, and the window view consisted of a building wall. Considering the cost of $730 for two nights, the experience did not meet expectations. There are many other hotels to select from. Hotel stuff were excellent
Reception was fantastic
There is a always a warm welcome here! Excellent service as always, cannot compliment the team at Motel one Dublin enough. From reservations, bar/lobby to front Desk, everyone is a pleasure to deal with and always happy to help and make our stay a pleasant one. Thanks for looking after us! Mark
Great location, staff really friendly. Hotel was impressive, will be looking to stay in other locations based on this visit
Very central and parking close by. Also great value for money
Location is excellent. Staff great. Ambiance very good. Room amennitties very poor. Room size very small. Food facilities non existant. Room service non available, really? The hotel looks more like a modern Pub rather than a hotel. You have to pay separetly at the bar and cannot have bar charges applied to the room. This is very inconvenient for business people like me. I always give my corporate card at the time to check in and have all charges charged to the card, without the need to pay for every single drink that I ordered. For my next trip to Dublin next month I dont think that I will stay in this hotel, I will find a hotel that offers all the above.
Enjoyable in a word. For me the bed has to be good and it was, full marks for that nice room good shower well pleased.
A very stylish hotel, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Perfect location, set back on a quiet side street. But close to all Dublin has to offer. Tram outside the entrance. Temple Bar area just a short walk over the Ha’penny Bridge.
Dane on reception was very welcoming, friendly and efficient. A pleasure to deal with. As usual, I enjoyed my stay., especially as the rate was very reasonable. Location is great, and I love the ambience in the lounge area. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent city centre hotel. Doing everything well. Great value on a tuesday night.
Facilities in room could be better. Paper cups leak, bottled water, more milk portions
good location, clean hotel, very good breakfast, comfortable bed
I was traveling in Ireland for the first time. I have not been in Europe since 1979. I was unaware of the custom of using a room key to operate the lights. I went into a pitch dark hotel room and when I tried to turn on the lights I thought something was wrong with the room. I opened the door to the hall and managed to see that I needed to put the room key in to work them. I found it very unfriendly to have a dark room with no lights. It would have been helpful to receive a heads up. My daughter had to actually come down to the lobby to get instructions on how to work her lights.
Room excellent, (however overlooking the top of the parking house is somewhat daunting)
Nice clean rooms brilliant location great for a weekend trip.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating on arrival - the hotel room and hotel was very clean and well maintained - the hotel is in a great location in the city for shopping/ eating out etc
Fantastic stay at your hotel, great location, great service
Great location...slightly small rooms. But nonetheless great.
Fabulous hotel with great location and very helpful staff! Luxury hotel at affordable prices- will definitely stay there again on our next trip
We had no water in our shower. We told reception on check out as we checked out early. The receptionist promised you follow up with us but did not. Very disappointing that we could not have a shower, despite paying the full price for our room on arrival.
Arrived at 10.30 to leave our luggage but we were informed our room was ready, hotel is stylish, welcoming staff, room small but perfect everything needed. Best part of this hotel was the bed. Best sleep I’ve had! Check out was 12 and the hotel kept our bags till our flight later at night.
This was my second time at Motel One Dublin, stayed one week both times. Everything was great this time except for the room placement. I was in the 6th floor room number 661 next to the elevator. In the morning hours I could hear the noise from the elevator going up and down non stop, I much more preferred the room I had in 2024. Still, I fully enjoyed my stay and my friends to whom I recommended staying in this hotel did as well. I will be back next year. Thank you P.S the staff is excellent especially Megan and her mother and also Miguel at the bar. Cordially Kyle
This was a great experience! I would highly recommend.
At reception Illya was extremely helpful in solving all my inquiries. I give hime 10 out of 10.
Motel one is our go to hotel for stopovers in Dublin. We love the location. It’s great value for the money. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are clean and efficient.
Love the comfort
Perfect location staff are very friendly and helpful beautiful immaculate rooms
we were supposed to stay at Clink i Lar but there was a maintenance issue with our room so we ended up staying at the Motel One. ( we have stayed before earlier this year) Loved our stay. The only thing i would stay is that all the main lights in our room turned on at the same time at about 5am. im not sure how this happened but overall it was a lovely stay.
The hotel is in a great location. Staff were friendly. The bathroom was very small.
The breakfasts were amazing. The service was friendly and funny. A good time was had by all.
Rooms too small for the price. My room was not cleaned for 2+ concecutive days (finally it was cleaned the third day following repetitive request). The problem was the reception - miscommunication?-and NOT THE CLEANING LADY.
Very friendly and efficient staff, super clean room, well-functioning amenities. Good location in central Dublin. Room was also quiet. Nothing to be desired. You get exactly what you come to expect from a Motel One.
Absolutely amazing hotel! The most comfortable hotel beds and pillows ever. The staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The room was SOOO clean and the hotel is kept to a high standard. We went to store our luggage before check in as we had an early arrival flight and they had our room ready early for no extra charge. Great location. Will defo be using again.
Beautiful esperience. The personal is so kind
Very comfortable, clean, and very efficient staff. The breakfast had an excellent array of food. It is very convenient to the city centre. A great hotel.
Amazing location, staff were so welcoming and friendly, being able to check in and get to the room by 12:30 was a god sent and so incredibly helpful. Lovely clean rooms and nice bar area in the hotel. Room was right by the busy side street but was very quiet and felt safe.
staff was really nice! The location was just perfect and I would definitely recommend everyone to book here when visiting Dublin. The tram can be a bit loud but it’s honestly not really worth the mention.
Love that we can count on great quality, comfort and location. Reception staff have always been above and beyond too
Amazing place to stay, and pet friendly :)
Only complaint is that the rooms are very small. Great location and delicious buffet breakfast!
Once again a fantastic stay at a Motel One hotel, friendly and professional staff, excellently run, ver clean with a fantastic bar and breakfast. Already booked a Motel One at a different city.
Great, friendly and helpful staff. Everything efficiently operated.

Our city hotels in Dublin offer comfortable accommodation in the centre with excellent connections to public transport. The Jervis Luas stop and the train station are located close to the design hotel. If you’re arriving at the hotel by car, we recommend using the APCOA Car Park Jervis Street, which is only three minutes away from the hotel. That way, you can easily visit Dublin’s attractions like EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum (Connolly station) and the National Leprechaun Museum.
Not far from the hotel, you’ll also find Dublin’s Jeanie Johnston museum: on a replica of a ship that took Irish emigrants to North America in the 19th century, history is made tangible. Further out from the hotel in Dublin, but definitely worth the trip on public transport, the former Kilmainham Gaol prison has been converted into a thought-provoking museum. This is where political prisoners were once held.
