Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. I appreciated that the room was cleaned each day. The location, although north of the river, was walkable to all attractions. I do wish the breakfast was included in the booking price.
The staff at the front desk were great. I had broken my foot and they were proactive with information about where I could get medical assistance. They were always friendly and efficient. The breakfast could be enhanced with a another egg dish such as scrambled eggs. The bar staff were also lovely, engaged well with eveyone. Overall a great stay my sister I will be back one day.
Excellent location, very nice room, busy but good breakfast, brilliant gin menu at the bar with top waiters
Very much enjoyed my stay, from a friendly check in to a, helpful, friendly check out.
Dane was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We greatly appreciate his helpfulness during our first time in Dublin and Ireland. Please recognize this gentleman.
Had a great stay at the hotel I would recommend staying here anytiml returne. Wil return
I loved your hotel; it was close to all the attractions I wanted to see and near the tour companies for additional excursions. Your service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was excellent, and so were your housekeepers.
Brilliant, modern hotel. Very well situated for our stay. Hotel is spotless. Rooms were perfect for us. Honestly can't fault the hotel. They don't serve food but there are plenty of places close by.
A beautiful modern hotel in a great central location.
I’d like to see the price for breakfast cost less.
Convenient location. We were allowed to check-in before 3PM I appreciate it much since we traveled by bus from Belfast on same morning and we had time to refresh before heading out for lunch. Our room and toilet was spotless. I find the pillows bit high for my comfort but bed was comfy and spacious. Can leave luggages too after check out. It was going well until this happened. My husband got a pint from downstairs' bar & we were lounging near the entrance while waiting for our bus departure back to Belfast. We were about to leave when a one of the youngsters entered the hotel carrying water gun and was shooting water in the hotel and I was so unlucky it was pointed at me too and I got wet straight onto my face. The hotel staff could have shoo them away but I can't remember them being bothered about the incident, it happened at 6PM last 30/07/2025 can check your CCTV. That's why 6/10.
I had stayed in Motel One in Edinburgh 2 years ago (Royal I think). The experience was wonderful and that's why I decided to try Motel One in Dublin. I wasn't disappointed, it was exactly as I expected. I loved the bed and the breakfast as well as the location of the hotel. I'd prefer the water in the shower to have more intense flow (I guess it was limited for ecological purposes). Other than that I was very satisfied and I will definitely pick Motel in the future.
Lacking staff at check in and check out. Room requested was not honoured.
Rooms are extremely small and. It really shown in pictures - breakfast in the bar on very uncomfortable or chairs and had to ask to repose gig nearly everything glasses plates eggs fruit salad etc… however staff through were fantastic from bar staff reception to celaning
Very comfortable, welcoming and great location. Only fault was that there were no china cups or glasses in the room, just paper recycling cups for drinking from.
Motel One Dublin is in a great location , rooms are modern & very clean. Rooms are a tight on space for 2 people with 2 large suitcases
Room ready early, quiet rooms, very clean, good staff, great location.
Excellent. Best hotel I ever stayed in Dublin. Central an spotlessly clean
Super nice, very friendly staff, clean room, nice bar area. Extra plus for the "EU electricity sockets" next to the Irish/UK ones.
Great service, quiet rooms with good soundproofing (walls and windows) essential when travelling for work and need a decent nights sleep.
V clean modern hotel V centrally located Friendly staff
This was my second stay at Motel One in recent weeks. I was very happy with the check in process, quality of my room and location of the hotel. I have already booked my next stay.
Breakfast disappointing, was advertised as ‘breakfast included’, but there were only cold options if you don’t like eggs. Should be advertised as continental breakfast included. As I paid for something I could make no use of. Also, could not get seated. No tables were available, people were leisurely just reading the paper post breakfast and there was no effort by staff to make room for people to eat.
Clean, comfortable and central location. Missed having a fridge in the room.
Smooth check-in and check-out, fantastic bar, room was clean and very comfortable (just had a fire-alarm woke up experience on our first night at your premises, we would have loved an explanation call or sth, even though we understand that it is difficult to call/explain everyone in such a big hotel).
The staff were great, the breakfast average. The toilet lid in the room wasn't fully attached and the low hum of the ventilation in the room kept me up at night.
Alles top!
The Motel is centrally located clise to Temple Bar area and other tourist attractions. The rooms are on the small side but very clean and well appointed. The motel itself has an art inspired charm. Overall it provides a very good experience.
Location is perfect! Great breakfast and wonderful customer service.
All staff very helpful and professional
Superb location in the centre of Dublin City. Clean, modern hotel. Bed was king size and room was decent size and very clean. Staff were very friendly.
Lovely boutique hotel in great location. Cute theme decor in lobby and restaurant. Good breakfast offered. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit small for two people.
Lovely modern hotel in an excellent location in central Dublin. Easy access for Taxi's. Negatives were rooms are relatively small and breakfast is very busy in as much as you cant find a seat and queues for food when you do.
Recommended! How ever, expect rather small rooms and a bathroom with restricted storage space. The only negative observation we had was nobody cleaning our rooms.
Great place to stay. `Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable with a great comfortable bed. Hotel is ideally situated close to all amenities of the city. Would certainly recommend staying here.
Almost perfect stay . I wanted to upgrade when I checked in as it was my birthday. But unfortunately they couldn’t upgrade me at such short notice. Overall very impressive.
1st time staying with you and it was an amazing experience. The cleanliness, the staff, spot on.
Nice stay, very good location. Breakfast only until 10 am.
We stayed in 4 hotels over the few weeks there. We were charged almost 90 eu more per night than your website quoted.I asked about it and got you booked it and it can’t be changed. We asked for wash cloth and was told to purchase them at pennys. At breakfast the woman taking care of things cleared my bowl in front of me while I was still eating. No response when I tried to tell her. She told people they could only use one coffee machine after 9:30. Air conditioning shut off every night causing us to wake up sweating. Forgot to clean our rooms. Would not recommend this place.
Staff is very good and very helpful. Location of the hotel is excellent.
Great location in the city centre. Cosy lounge/bar as well as the outdoor area. Comfortable bed and fluffy pillows. Not much noise. The breakfast was good. Helpful and friendly staff.
Excellent in every way
Stayed for 1 night, was able to check in early. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Place lovely and clean. Would definitely stay here again 👍
Lovely
Nice, clean hotel in a central location - convenient for solo travellers, as the rooms are quite compact. The customer service was decent. I would suggest more security e.g. key card scan at the elevator and a security guard at the entrance.
Very stylish, modern hotel. Super friendly staff. Great centrally located. We will return any time soon. One small thing for the improvement for your internal processes (it didn’t affect our stay negatively): In the shower in my room was no shower gel hanging at the wall. You had to knee down since it was sitting on the floor.
Good experience- room & bathroom were tight, but it was ok. Extremely clean, quiet, and comfortable bed with A/C. Could use more TV channel options. One frustrating experience was no notice about the parking closing in the evening. We didn’t know, so we had to drive around looking for a parking garage in the dark, then called hotel and they suggested trying another certain garage- and we found it on maps. This info should be included on parking info paper and front desk should have told me when I picked up the paper at night saying we were going to park car.
I do apologize about half of a pot noodle pot fell over, I tried cleaning as much as possible.
Great modern hotel walking distance to everywhere you want to see in Dublin. The rooms are on the small side, what you might expect in Manhattan, so be mindful if you have a lot of luggage, this may not be the place for you. Also, given the flow of traffic, getting dropped off and picked up requires crossing the street with your luggage, which can be tricky and a little dangerous. It would be nice if they could develop a landing spot for cars to pick up and drop off customers checking in or out.
Motel One from appearance is a beautiful hotel overall. Greeted by one of the wonderful staff there named Stacy with a lovely smile and plenty of information to my make my stay as comfortable as ever. The hotel situated in the middle of the city centre making it easy to access restaurants and cinemas. I enjoyed my stay there and will be back for sure!

Further out from the hotel in Dublin, but definitely worth the trip on public transport, the former Kilmainham Gaol prison has been converted into a thought-provoking museum.
