Love the location love the people love the 24 hour bar the motel one team always give you a really warm and friendly reception the motel one team always have a smile on their face and can do attitude
Great little place right in the middle of everything. The room itself was a little cramped, but for one person was great. The breakfast was also very good.
We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Motel One! It was clean, comfortable, and the location was perfect! Staff was very friendly. The AC works great too!
I like the Motel One Chain, and have stayed in other Motel One location. I have previously stayed in the Dublin Location and choose to go back, however this visit a a number of disappointments, that altogether added up to an experience that I could not recommend to others, all easily fixed with a small amount of maintenance in some areas, and staff training for others. Room Extractor fan not working Shower hose leaking 1 tissue in tissue box, which was not refilled after room was made down, despite then being completely empty. Tea not refilled in room. Bar Many of the Gins from the "One Gin" menu not in stock. One of the decorative books page open loose making quote unreadable, easy quick fix. Bar not being stocked with regular Indian tonic at end of night, staff said "I don't think we sell that" but after I explained I had already had it there and requested they look in stock 1 was quickly found in back area. I requested another gin and was meet with a refusal from what I assumed was a manager to even look for another standard Indian tonic, instead telling me that the Fever tree light Indian tonic was the same thing, it is not and staff making such a statement in a bar that is supposed to keep an extensive gin stock need to know the difference, and must listen to the customer when they make simple statements such as " no not that 1, the standard 1 with yellow label". Staff training required. Most staff polite and willing to serve customers correct drink. The manager, or who I presumed to be a manager as they were wearing a jacket, was not polite and dismissed the barman who had looked for the correct tonic. Overall the number of issues, and the false statement made by that manager "it's the same thing" made the experience poor. I doubt I will return, nor can I see myself recommend this and a place of choice to my friends and colleagues. As 1 positive, I would like to say the the barman on night 1, Joseph, was excellent. I recommend that his actions be recognised and rewarded.
Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Large and comfortable lounge open 24 hours.
Beautiful hotel in a great location, the rooms were great not to mention extremely quiet! We really enjoyed our stay here.
Loved Motel One. Very clean and user friendly rooms. Delicious breakfast and the coffee was divine! Most importantly, Motel One is in an ideal centrally, located location. You won’t be disappointed.
Great clean hotel. Lovely helpful staff
The hotel was well located and the staff was very friendly and helpful! The bed was incredibly comfortable! One downside is that our bathroom smelled awful. We eventually got used to it and it didn't ruin our stay, but it was definitely noticeable and unpleasant. It would also be nice if the hotel had an area to purchase water/snacks/etc. The bar was open 24 hours, so you could go there for a bottle of water any time, but it would be nice to have more options since nearby stores closed fairly early. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay, the location, price, friendly staff and value were all huge positives!
On a quick note Re room 219 and Air Conditioning: if on Heat and 24 degrees and level 2 the heating system bubbling noise prevails for a good while until finally quiet - as maybe air in the pipes > in domestic dwellings 'bleeding the radiors' helps, maybe something similar
STAFF ARE PHENOMINAL FROM CHECK IN TO BAR SERVICE
Very friendly when checking-in. Housekeeping staff had even arranged for two duvets as I was sharing with a friend. Always a pleasant stay at MotelOne
Excellent hotel, all the staff are exceptional and welcoming. From reservations to the front desk everyone is super friendly and hospitable. 😁
Excellent service, friendly staff as always. I will always stay in Motel one when I am in Dublin.
Lovely aesthetic to the hotel, very clean, pleasant and helpful reception staff
Clean and modern hotel but too few staff and hard to get their attention. I also checked in online in advance and had my room assigned to me automatically but I was given a different room when I arrived to the hotel which caused confusion. The juice machine was also broken at breakfast so didn’t have as many options as other Motel Ones I’ve stayed at.
Great location . Clean and comfy rooms . Just a bit pricey because it was the oasis weekend .
Lovely hotel. Check in and out was very fast and easy. Pity that there was no still water available at the bar 🙄
Great hotel! Fantastic location. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms spacious and clean. Only niggle was the price of the hotel. Prices clearly inflated for the Oasis concert but to be expected. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Great hotel centrally located, shower pressure wasn’t the best but everything else was exceptional. Will definitely be back to stay as the hotel had it all! Staff were friendly and efficient.
Great location, quiet, nice breakfast. Need to have a sign for the door for request to clean room.
Beautiful hotel. The lobby/bar area are so inviting and comfortable. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and welcoming. The room wasn't large, but it was spotless and comfortable. The surrounding area seemed relatively safe and is conveniently located in walking distance of many local attractions. The price of the standard room was rather high, but there was a big event going on the weekend we were in town.
I would book again when visit Dublin. Very pet friendly hotel too.
Dear Motel One Dublin, We had a very pleasant stay at your hotel: the rooms were welcoming and clean, the staff kind, and the service fully met our expectations. We also appreciated the strategic location and the overall care of the property. The only small downside was the breakfast, which we found not very varied. In particular, only one type of egg preparation was available (boiled), with no alternatives such as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, or salmon. We believe that a wider choice would make the experience even better, and we would have been happy to pay a little more for a more diversified selection of dishes. Lastly — and this was probably just a matter of bad luck — during our stay we got stuck in the elevator for a few minutes, and on two nights the fire alarm went off without reason. Overall, however, my impression is very positive, and I was satisfied with our stay at your hotel. Kind regards, Davide Castelli
Excellent hotel and staff at an affordable price! We especially liked the design of the bar and lounge area with its James Joyce theme and overall attention to detail. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low, and there was no fridge inte room. But overall it was a 10/10 experience, and we will definitely stay at Motel One again if given the chance.
Irina deserves special credit for her friendly welcome and excellent customer service at the reception desk. In this warm weather, it was a pleasure to have a nice cool room. The AC works very well.
Everything was as expected. The room was clean, quiet and the staff were pleasant. The reason why I can't give a higher score was the 3:30am firearms. Apparently someone was smoking in their room, it set off alarms all over the hotel which rather spoilt things.
Staff very friendly, room was immaculate and the hotel just had a really lovely feel to it overall.
Parking difficult
There’s a problem with aircon on the first floor. Rooms 106 and 118 don’t work. Employee attempt to “reset” it in the basement doesn’t work. Please fix the aircon!
My stay in Motel one was excellent as always great staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends as it’s in a great location in Dublin City centre.
No where to put anything. Other than a few coat hangers. Nowhere for luggage or clothing. Nowhere for shower stuff. Very very small room. Basically a bed. Comfortable bed. But honestly lack of any storage or place for anything was a problem.
Excellent, all around.
Perfect location, walking distance to all major spots, good size room, very helpful and friendly staff especially Mariana
The location was perfect and the hotel was spotless. The bar area was lovely for relaxing and having a drink in the evening. The room was very tiny though with little space to move around. The men in our group were very disappointed not to be able to have an Irish breakfast and the bar was not very conducive for eating breakfast with very few dining tables for such a busy hotel.
Keep up the great work
Great place ! Location is superb ! Breakfast and lounge room is nice. Just wish they had shampoo and conditioner and body lotion.
Lovely rooms, great location
Super friendly and helping!!
Motel One provided us with a comfortable and enjoyable 3 day stay in a lovely and safe environment in a central location. It exceeded our expectations! Must mention their elegant and delicious breakfasts that became a wonderful and most welcome way to start each day. Made a point to compliment Jadine for providing a splendid breakfast each and every day! Well done!
Great room. Clean simple with the right price
The hotel was clean and centrally located. The registration staff were cold and unfriendly. The room was too small for a king-sized bed.
We really loved the hotel. The location, the bar, the reception staff. I knew the room would be small, would’ve just liked the bedside ‘shelf’ to be a bit bigger.
A really nice hotel. Not sure who the manager is but one gentleman was at the desk when I arrived and expressed pride in “his” hotel. He was terrific and a great first sign. Unfortunately the reception staff was something between cool and cold. A little imitating even. After a couple of questions I made every effort to avoid the desk staff. With a more friendly desk staff, the hotel would be close to perfect.
Lovely room very spacious and clean
Thanks! We had a great time. Greetings from Hamburg! 😁
+ screwtop bottles for room sale are foaming in the glass + there were more books available to browse and read over a drink + bathroom shower gel was towards the end at its very end + breakfast eggs are appreciated half done normally
We really appreciated our hotel stay. The room was really comfortable and the position was amazing: almost everything was in the nerby (Temple bar, the Castle, the Christ Church, Oscar Wilde 's house, Joyce' s center, Epic museum, the Leprechaun museum). The staff was very helpful and they told us how to reach the other places (Guinnes Storehouse,Saint Patrick 's Cathedral, the Phoenix Park). We would like to thank especially Juan and the Italian girl (I don't remember her name).
Very efficient, friendly at reception, helpful A great stay, great location
Best hotel, best location and fair price. We were able to enjoy the city in a way we never expected because of the location. We are coming back next year in March. Tommy and Becky
