location is perfect for shopping, opera and museums. Rooms are small but quiet in the inside rooms. Check in is horrible! Always a line up, waiting up to 1 hour to get the room after 3pm check in. Had to keep asking if our room was ready. This needs to improve a lot to get top marks. €18 continental Breakfast is a bit steep too.
All was good except my request to have a room not far from the lift due to mobility was ignored and couldn’t be farther from it!
Excellent staff and location, very quiet and comfy room. Lounge and bar were equally nice.
I had a wonderful stay at your hotel. I arrived very late at night and received a room that I didn’t like, but when asked to move, the very courteous lady moved me to the a beautiful room, in which I had a wonderful time.
Thank you for everything. In your hotel we are as at home. Margarita room no.385
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The only downside was very crowded and relatively limited breakfast and weak soundproofing between our room and hallway (room 133).
A very good hotel, well located and slept well. The room was a bit too small however and there was nowhere to put clothing. We were there for close to a week and with no closet or dresser of any description it was a bit of a challenge.
Great hotel in the center of Vienna with excellent cost/performance ratio
The room was very fresh, clean, and simply but beautifully decorated.
My 1st comment is regarding Hotel's response to my email. I left my phone adaptor in the room 252, when i checked out on 22.04.25. I asked to keep it for me to be collected by my relative. But, no answer from hotel. I was not sure that the given room was 16 sqm, as i was booked and paid. Receptionist said room 252 is 17 sqm, which didn't look like. Heating / cooling system in the room wasn't working properly. I had to keep window open and it was noisy at night. Breakfast was poor compared to other Motel one's in different cities.
Perfect location, nice staff, room was very cozy. I would definitely recommend and stay there again
The bed was not as comfortable as in earlier stays. The mattress was sagging on the side of the bed facing the bathroom. But the room was nice and clean, and breakfast was excellent.
I spent six nights at the hotel and enjoyed my stay. I’d like to thank manager Denisa Zolotic for saving a comfortable room for a weary traveler. Due to limited international cellular service, dinner reservations were difficult to make at restaurants. I suggest that the hotel be able to make reservations for its guests.
The staff were very efficient and friendly. The hotel is very popular among German speakers but as an English speaker, I did not feel out of place as the staff were very accomodating. The room was tastefully decorated and adequate for a nice stay in central Vienna. The room was very quiet when the windows are shut. The location is superb. A small coffee machine/small bar fridge in the room would've been very much appreciated. Overall, I was very happy with Motel One Vienna and will try again for future visits to the city.
beds were VERY hard - like sleeping on a rock. shower was nice and i liked the shampoo. The room could have used more lighting - it was very dark. In general the room and bathroom were VERY small. There was no counter space and no place for my luggage.
My main issue was that there was no small fridge to store cold water
Always attentive staff trying to help the guest. Amazing location. Great room.
Great location. Everyone was really nice and rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was good. They have a wide variety of items.
Overall a very good experience. Great location. Nice room, simple but everything you need. Comfortable bed. Room had a closet a plus for a business trip. Price was much higher than usual Motel One prices, but probably due to my stay being during a Congress taking place in Vienna.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful building. Check-in & check-out were fast & efficient. Had drinks in the bar on Sunday night, lovely space and staff very attentive. Breakfast was excellent, if a little overpriced. My room was the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in! But it had everything required for 1 person for 1 night - except a kettle. I couldn't open the window so had to turn the air-con off. But I had a great night's sleep! Very comfy bed and great pillows.
Nice clean room
Excellent location.
Alles Top.
Excellent hotel in all respects!
Perfectly sited and excellent value, always busy but adequate numbers of staff always coped very well. Lovely interior and bar area, very functional, comfortable rooms.
Everything was amazing. We had a lovely staying and the ameneties was as were described.
I have been a customer of motel one in all cities for a very long It is a very nice and very good system. I think the systems are good, but the people working there are not robots and they could be more cheerful and understanding towards us. We asked for water from the reception and she pointed to the west side with a hand gesture without looking at us. I have never come across anything like this, motel one is a beautiful hotel and should always remain beautiful in my opinion. Please teach the reception staff that they are humans before they are robots.
We were very happy to be received upon our arrival by Claudia Mancera and her colleague who were both very helpfull and friendly and found us again a wonderful room which conveined to my special need as a handicaped person. We were very thankful for that and enjoyed our stay in the hotel very much.
My favorite hotel ever. Budget-friendly, but stylish and clean. I’m a regular customer and I recommend Motel One to all my friends.
The hotel staff in Vienna were so very helpful. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The location near Staatsoper was perfect for everything my granddaughter and I wanted to do. I will be staying at the Motel One Edinburgh-Royal in a few days and am looking forward to my stay there.
Need new duvet covers
super location, good breakfast, decent rooms, nice atmosphere
Overall we had a very good stay, thank you. And the location is just perfect. We also enjoyed to have a good size room as we stayed for a number of nights. Don’t get me wrong, but I take the opportunity to point out a few things that could improve pur experiences even more: • the temperature in the hotel was very (too) warm, especially in the up-stairs breakfast area. Maybe you should turn it down? • the breakfast was very good, but the tables were much to small and low in order to fully enjoy it. Something to think about? • the beds were very comfortable; however, the pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Could be improved… Finally, the staff in general were very friendly and helpful. Especially your breakfast host on Sunday March 23. He was just terrific in his role.😊 Thank’s again.
Great location to reach all important places in Vienna centrum, good price and quality balance. Missing some small things, like, shoehorn, shoe brush.
Friendly staff and great value for the price. The room walls were very scuffed, showing age, but everything else was clean and well appointed. I would absolutely stay here again.
Extremely welcoming structure, very kind and helpful staff
Room is „okay“
I very much enjoyed staying at Motel One Vienna and hope to return again. My only complaint is the coffee was poor and should be improved.
Especially to location, it is excellent for me.
Booking and checking in was a farce - on two occasions! I tried to call but no answer. I emailed the hotel and no response - not good enough.
Fantastic location, gorgeous entrance lobby, good value for money. The real problem is the breakfast area, which involves carrying food and drink up and down steps. There is an easy fix: get rid of the mezzan7ne (no one eats there anyway) and make the entire space level with the adjacent bar. Some architect apparently thought the current arrangement was attractive; it's not, and it's even dangerous for the elderly and impossible to manage for the handicapped. Doesn't Austrian law require accommodation for people with disabilities?!
Kind, available, clean, comfortable, easy to reach, close to the metro,
Fantastic hotel, fantastic service. Looking forward to returning for my next visit and recommending clients to stay at Motel One.
The hotel is in a great location and rooms, hall and breakfast area are perfect. It's a little tricky to get to the rooms with sometimes a lot of walking and you can get also lost on the stairs if you are not using the elevator. A parking agreement with the close parking would be appreciated to low a little bit the rate which is very expensive.
We had an excellent stay at this Motel One. The location is perfect and the employees took great care of us.
Convenient location, friendly staff, confortable bed and acceptable relation quality-price
Excellent boutique hotel, very good location and breakfast. The most interesting thing-bar works all night.
Everything was OK with the exception of super tiny room with super tiny bathroom where I could hardly fit. There was absolutely no space to put the luggage no wardrobe no place where I could put my stuff.
At your Motel One Staatsoper Vienna, all your people make each of my stays a very pleasant one! No matter whether at the Reception: Sharwan Khalaf, Emre Emengen, Florian Pail, Anna Schenter, Oliver, Marlis Kianek, Selina Mundigler or in the Bar: Gonzalo Cannizzaro, Dustin Putz and May Abdalla All, very kind and professional people!!!
Fabulous location, trendy and spotlessly clean hotel, great value for money. Helpful and polite staff. My only issue was that the first two rooms I was offered had old windows which did not lock and had handles on the outside which could be opened from outside. As a female staying alone, and with no safe in the room, I did not feel this was safe and secure. The staff found me a third room, which was fine apart from being slightly dark as on ground level overlooking the courtyard which was surrounded by several floors of rooms. However as I spend little time in the hotel room this was not really an issue.
