Liked the hotel and the location every thing was super.
The location is ideal , close to the main attractions and means of public transport. Although we had booked a special room we were given a room on the ground floor next to the storeroom with a lot of problems causing an uncomfortable staying. Walls needed cleaning, bathroom door almost touching the toilet, no facilities (eg coffee machine ) or toiletries ( shower cap). When we asked for a really special room we were informed that the hotel was fully booked and they would try their best the next day. Overall it was an unpleasant situation in spite of the hotel's potentials.
Room was very small - There wasn’t even a single shelf for the clothes. Breakfast was good, bar was nice. All in all a very good stay.
We love Motel One Staatsoper and have stayed there several times. Pleasant staff, great location, and very fine breakfast.

The hotel is very well situated for museum going and access to transportation. However, I wish each room had a safe for valuables: it's shocking that this hotel does not offer that amenity. Additionally, a suitcase stand/luggage rack is considered a necessity: it was strange not to haver that either. The water bottle received at reception was a welcome gift.

Excellent location and very accommodating staff. I appreciated that rooms were cleaned at reasonable times early in the day. Rooms are VERY small. My only disappointment was that the hotel does not have small face towels/wash clothes.
For the price point, this was a nice little hotel. It was spotless with nice decor and a comfortable bed. All we really needed.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in a standard room. Excellent staff, both friendly and efficient, beautiful building, perfectly located for exploring the city on foot or by public transport. Excellent breakfast and very inviting bar area. I can think of nothing to fault it. Found Motel 1 from a British TV show with the chef and restauranteur, Rick Stein.

I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at Motel One Wien-Staatsoper. Upon entering the room I was immediately shocked by how tiny and claustrophobic it felt, completely different from the regular room I had originally booked. I addressed the issue right away with the same front desk staff member who had checked me in. Her response was unprofessional and rude. Instead of offering any solution, she told me that “if the other Motel One sent you to us, they need to handle it,” as if we were not dealing with the same hotel chain. I also emailed both hotels the same day, but received no reply from the original hotel to this day. This level of service and lack of responsibility is unacceptable for a brand that advertises consistent standards across its locations. I cannot recommend this property and will seriously reconsider using Motel One in the future unless significant improvements are made in staff training, customer care, and internal communication.

The single room is very basic and small but the location is great. I was a little bit disappointed about the cleaniness of the velvet curtains but likely they do not put decorative cushion on the bed. I use the chain a lot and this is the very first time I have something no nice to say

Gorgeous hotel in a very convenient location! Ideal for sightseeing and exploring all that Vienna has to offer.
We spent a weekend in beautiful Vienna and chose Motel One because of its central location. The staff was very friendly and the cleanliness was perfect. However, we found the furnishings too sparse and the noise level too high due to insufficient soundproofing (especially at breakfast or in the evening at the bar). The breakfast was of very good quality, but the rooms were very cramped.

Every thing was perfect .
Almost perfect stay at the hotel. Excellent location with many sightseeing spots in the vicinity. Subway station and other public transport services within walking distance. Very friendly welcome by Ms. Victoria. Room comfortable with one exception, the bed. Unfortunately no two single beds available and we had to accept the box spring double bed. We are not used to sleep in that kind of bed and almost any movement in the night by either of us disturbed the other. Apart from that issue we were very satisfied.
an electric cattle was sorely missed . Lot of us need a cup of hot tea/coffee in early morning . Need to have more space for breakfast .. was difficult to get a seat !!

Stay was good bar staff excellent Disappointed that I was told you don’t have twin rooms in the hotel first time I have ever come across that. Location is fantastic and like I said bar staff particularly the blonde lady in the bar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel's location was excellent. Great customer service and nice breakfast. The only thing was missing in the room was a safe. I stayed at 3 others Motel One Hotels (in Germany) and all the rooms have a safe. Otherwise, the experience was excellent.
I enjoyed my stay at Motel One in Vienna , the staff are very friendly and welcoming and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. However I was disappointed there was no toast at breakfast and the lack of basic room facilities such as a kettle and safe are disappointing.
Excellent location in the center. Walking distance everywhere. Tastefully decorated. Great breakfast buffet. Only the rooms and bathrooms are a bit smaller.
Good Service - particular also the selection on vegan food. Just make sure the coconut yoghurt remains available. This one ran out of Service during the stay, but was excellent. The room in the bottom floor was a bit dark.
I have stayed in several Motel One's and always enjoyed my stay. Your staff are excellent. Improvements needed are material. A machine that toasts bread in the morning. Some of your hotels have them. Scrambled eggs offered for breakfast. A kettle, safe and a fridge in every room.

Superb location, impressive lobby and bar. Clean but too small rooms, no room for suitcase at all, no room for clothes at all, no chair to sit down inside the room. No double room with separated beds.

Overall an excellent experience. Two things that made me award 8 rather than 10 points: 1. I need to store medication in a fridge. I have stayed in other hotels that do not include a fridge in the room but they have all provided a small portable fridge, without any surcharge, to allow the correct storage. Motel One offered to store it in a non-accessible fridge and required the signing of a note saying they accept no responsibility for the correct storage. The medication can be rendered ineffective, if not correctly stored, and there is also a hygiene risk when the storage facility cannot be inspected and multiple people handle medication. This is not acceptable! 2. The headboard in my room showed clear signs of wear and tear which is a disappointment in a hotel of this standing.
Almost perfect! Excellent check in, location, room quality and size of room, lobby, hvac unit, and great price. Friendly and accommodating staff. Lobby & Bar is good. For the location given that you can walk easily into the inner city and that you are at Karlsplatz it is an excellent hub location! There is also a Billa and Spar within a block and a few cafes and restaurants that are all good. Three things that kept it from getting a perfect 10 which are mostly minor but since we are being picky: No chair for office table in room (this I don't understand and would be a big issue for me in most cases besides this trip) No in room safe No iron in room (there is a common ironing room but staff has to let you in, doesn't help when in a rush) Besides that I don't understand the trend of no shower doors (not unique to this hotel). The bathroom ends up completely soaked every time. I did not have the breakfast so I can't comment about that part. Staff was very helpful, accommodating, and the rooms are brand new, stylish, and large compared to anything else at this price point.
