Nice check in and check out. Rooms decorated nice and beds comfy. Would be 10, but curtains weren't completely black out.
Great stay nothing too much trouble
Excellent staff, spotless room, unexpectedly good breakfast, nice lounge and bar.
Really enjoyed our stay - lovely room with comfortable bed. Reception staff were very friendly and hotel in great location.
Fabulous location, the rooms were spotless and comfortable and last but not least, the staff Fabulous. Am now an avid Motel One fan.
This was my sixth visit and is the only hotel I would consider staying at in Manchester. For the very reasonable price (it is a budget hotel, not luxury!) I don't see how it could be beaten
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and so were the public areas. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Would definitely stay here again.
Best welcome ever. Have already recommended to friends. Excellent.
A beautiful hotel, stylish in every way, combing the theme of turquoise, black and white in the bedrooms, as well as turquoise and black with tartan lampshades in the sitting area. The proximity to Central Library gave an additional theme of books and literature in the decor too. Delicious breakfasts kept simple with no cooked additions. Spotless paint in the rooms and stairwells, and very pleasant cleaners. Staff always most obliging and helpful. Will certainly come back to this hotel and have made a list of the others in GB. Thank you to the German masterminds who came up with an inexpensive hotel giving the impression of one of top of the range. Thank you.
Great attention to detail. Great value. Brilliant location.
This a very good hotel ideally located in the heart of Manchester. The rooms and facilities are good but the best thing about this hotel is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
Nice staff, nice rooms, clean, minimalist and unpretentious. Probably down to your company's German origins. If we return to Manchester, you'll be our choice.
Receptionist lady really rude
Great hotel in ideal location in the centre of Manchester. Staff were polite and attentive, rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. We had booked two rooms, one for myself and my wife, the other for our teenage boys, the receptionist had been good enough to make sure our rooms were next to each other, also we were able to check in early. Perfect. To note, the bar offers a perfect espresso martini 👌🏻
Always a pleasant stay, clean, very comfy beds, reception staff always friendly and helpful
Everything was perfect. Room was very clean, big enough, price very affordable. Staff were so kind.
Clean, tidy, friendly staff
Really lovely room, albeit on the small side but very modern and super clean. Hotel staff very friendly . Will recommend as good value for money,
Clean and pleasant to stay in with a great location and helpful Staff Very good value for money
Was wonderful. The staff was very friendly, the room was adequate and the location was the best
Good location, quality furnished, good compact bedroom, nice large bar .
Nice hotel, comfortable bed, clean room/shower, and very nice staff. Location is great for exploring Manchester.
Enjoyed hotel . Great value for money . We'll looked after .
Highly recommended and ideal for weekend stays. Great value for money and prefect for location. 1000000% coming back again
Very nice clean and comfortable hotel which is centrally located
Room was nice albeit a bit small. Would.have been nicer to.look over St Peters square rather than an alley but that is the look of the drawer
Great hotel, clean, modern, friendly staff, reasonable cost, great location. Will definitely use again on future visits.
As good as you'll possibly get for the price. Nice, clean rooms, comfy beds in air conditioned rooms, will definitely use again
Good on all counts
A great hotel in a perfect location and excellent value for money. Staff are always friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable.
Really good but could do with phone charger points in room.
Stayed in room 8.66 from Sunday to Tuesday just gone. It was a great stay! Room was great and the view was gorgeous! The two people on reception on arrival couldn't have been more helpful! The only thing we could suggest is maybe adding a fridge to the room but other than that it was perfect! Also the comfiest bed I've stayed in in a while!
Very nice rooms very comfy...clean and very welcoming staff at reception...i would definatly recommend to people
Great night stay very clean and comfortable beds overall everything was great especially for the price being a Saturday night couldn't fault it at all. Will be back again
Price was high considering the lack of amenities
Fantastic location and friendly staff
Great hotel. Good position and easy walking distance to shops, theatre and restaurants. Room was small but extremely comfortable with everything you need. Bathroom again small, but perfectly formed with fabulous walk in shower. Both room and bathroom spotlessly clean with additional pillows and plenty of large fluffy, immaculate white towels. Staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. Thus was my first time at a Motel One hotel but won’t be my last and this particular one in St Peter’s Square will now be my go to hotel for Manchester!
The bed smelt like it had not been cleaned and noises coming from pipework all night
Great location, clean rooms & comfortable
It is centrally located and the lobby has spacious seating area. The bar is good. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Room was clean but on the small side. Reception very friendly. Didn’t use the bar as there was nothing on draft. Also too much info/email in German
On the whole, a very good hotel for the price. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable, nice reception areas. My only bit of feedback is that there is an annoying sound in the rooms (I have stayed on two separate occasions and noted it both times) that is like an air con/hotel systems noise (not the air con as this was switched off). The noise is mostly constant throughout the night, affected my sleep both stays and despite everything else being spot on, would really make me think twice before booking again.
Loved the room, and location. However I had a very bad nights sleep due to work going on in the room next door from an early hour. Plus the noise from outside wasn’t cancelled out by the window, so from 5am you could hear street noise to an uncomfortable level.
This is my second time staying there and the staff are lovely. Room is beautiful. The only downside is no fridges in the room
Excellent location with friendly and very helpful staff. Nice, very clean room with very comfortable bed. Good value.
Needle in my first room not happy about at all
There were no issues with the room; it was fit for purpose and comfortable. The other hotel facilities such as the bar/lounge space were welcoming and the service from the staff was good. And the free Motel One bucket hat was a nice touch!
The hotel was lovely and clean. Rooms not overly big but perfect for our overnight stay. location was excellent and Within walking distance to everything. I left my car key behind me and Thadah very kindly posted them to me the following morning.
Clean, compact room. Simple air con controls, so easy to make the room temperature just as you want it. Nice to be able to open a window for fresh air too. Comfy bed and the linen and towels were nice. Toiletries were fine, but the shower water pressure was a bit low. Would have preferred proper mugs instead of plastic beakers for hot drinks and it would have been nice to have an iron as well as a hairdryer in the room. Importantly - reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Left luggage was very efficient. Location is great, but most rooms don’t have much of a view if that is a factor. Enjoyed my stay and slept well. Recommended!
A relaxing stay
