Loved the room, and location. However I had a very bad nights sleep due to work going on in the room next door from an early hour. Plus the noise from outside wasn’t cancelled out by the window, so from 5am you could hear street noise to an uncomfortable level.
This is my second time staying there and the staff are lovely. Room is beautiful. The only downside is no fridges in the room
Excellent location with friendly and very helpful staff. Nice, very clean room with very comfortable bed. Good value.
Needle in my first room not happy about at all
There were no issues with the room; it was fit for purpose and comfortable. The other hotel facilities such as the bar/lounge space were welcoming and the service from the staff was good. And the free Motel One bucket hat was a nice touch!
The hotel was lovely and clean. Rooms not overly big but perfect for our overnight stay. location was excellent and Within walking distance to everything. I left my car key behind me and Thadah very kindly posted them to me the following morning.
Clean, compact room. Simple air con controls, so easy to make the room temperature just as you want it. Nice to be able to open a window for fresh air too. Comfy bed and the linen and towels were nice. Toiletries were fine, but the shower water pressure was a bit low. Would have preferred proper mugs instead of plastic beakers for hot drinks and it would have been nice to have an iron as well as a hairdryer in the room. Importantly - reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Left luggage was very efficient. Location is great, but most rooms don’t have much of a view if that is a factor. Enjoyed my stay and slept well. Recommended!
A relaxing stay
Excellent stay, comfortable and enjoyable
Basic but everything you need. Compact room but very nice, modern style. Lovely reception and bar area.
Great location, good value hotel and very clean
Lovely stay great location .
Great stay. Very friendly staff. Nice Breakfast
What a lovely hotel! The staff on arrival was so smiley and kind & welcoming. The room was beautiful. So tidy and clean. Was perfection! The tv was a great size and a lovely cup of tea in a reusable cup! Great touch. 5 stars! Would definitely stay again! Thank you
As usual this hotel comes out trumps. I work as a consultant in Manchester and am loath to recommend this hotel as I don't want to ring up and find that I can't get a room but it is special. The staff are brilliant and nothing is too much. I have strange dietary requirements and they always meet them. Last week I was given room 666 and envisaged waking up next to Damian but as usual I had a great nights sleep and the room was huge. It is easy to book and the breakfast is just right, no frills but something for all tastes. It has a busy bar and when I get in from work at 00.15 the bar is always open for a drink and a chat. For a small hotel it is larger than life with that sleek German design. The location is to die for. Just a one minute walk from the tram, straight into Piccadilly and on to the Etihad.
My stay was excellent; I was helped by a really lovely, friendly lady at reception (I'm very sorry for not taking her name) who upgraded me, my room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were great. I will definitely book to stay here again in the future. The reception and bar area also looked great and I only wish I had more time to relax there and get a drink with colleagues.
Amazing service on arrival. Two immaculate rooms, next to each other as requested. Amenities in the room exceeded expectations. Always top notch
The bed was too soft and caused back issues. Not enough bins in the room. Otherwise aesthetically hotel was fine
Great location and decent price
Very clean and tidy hotel, excellent location and reception staff were polite and respectful
Lovely staff, very knowledgeable and efficient. However the rooms were quite small especially The One room
Room too small V impersonal Breakfast inadequate
Another fantastic stay at St Peters Square. Front of house staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough to help when we arrived early and needed to change for our daughters graduation. We will definitely be back
Incredibly friendly , welcoming and helpful staff who were always available to help.
Hotel was very clean and room was quiet and cosy. Great location and easy to get round the city. Insanely great WiFi as well! Will definitely be back again
We were able to check in 2 hours early, room was clean and tidy, front desk staff were really helpful
We came to see oasis and your check in staff were amazing at a very stressful time
Lovely central hotel, fantastic rooms and a lovely bar. Friendly staff, slightly spoiled by reception staff laughing at me when I asked, due to having a lot of mobility equipment, was there any chance of an early check in.
One of the best hotels we have ever been to! Congrats guys on the service and quality you manage to offer. I work at the hospitality industry and I understand how difficult this could be. We will definitely be back!
we all had a lovely stay at hotel, we got checked in early ,rooms were spotless we had no issues at all
Biblical!
Good value for money. Room was small but well furnished and the bed comfortable, although limited wardrobe and hanging space. There is a nice lounge bar on the ground floor. Wifi reception was good.
I like this hotel and have stayed here before. The power went out twice which meant that for my 3 day stay there was no elevator to my room on the 6th floor and at periods no available power/toilet/shower/air conditioning or breakfast. etc. I understand this is somewhat out of the hotel's control but the staff were overwhelmed with people complaining and there were many heated conversations between the staff and guests that I witnessed. I thought the hotel might have contacted me regarding this but I haven't heard anything. I also found a set of false eyelashes under my bed whilst I was looking for an AirPod that I had dropped.
Lovely clean hotel and room. Staff pleasant and helpful. Excellent location for transport shops restaurants
I've stayed here on 3 occasions. Well priced, great location and the staff are always amazing.
Great value for money. Great location. Great staff. Clean modern.
Friendly staff, clean and tidy facilities. A fantastic central location and all was as expected.
Ive stayed several times. Good but…. I wish each room had an ironing table and iron. Many other hotels supply them. I always have to go down to reception to get them. Two weeks ago, i accidentally left a white linen shirt in my room. I phoned up the next day and it wasn't found.
The hotel is perfectly located near a variety of restaurants. It’s clean, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast is good. I would recommend!
3rd time I have stayed. Always clean, no fuss, nice bar and perfectly central. It has become my ‘go to’ whenever I visit my daughter in Manchester.
My first time at Motel One and I was much impressed. The check in was quick, friendly and efficient. I arrived on what was probably the hottest day of the year and my room was wonderfully air conditioned, it was compact but it had everything I needed. The thing I loved the most were the beautifully soft pillows on the bed, such a pleasant change from some of the neckbreakers which other hotel chains use, they enabled me to have a super night's sleep! I wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel again.
Great to be back in this hotel. Been here a few times and love it.
Generally adequate but v clean and v friendly and helpful staff. breakfast quite poor value and almost nothing available one hour before buffet closes. Premier imm gives better room and breakfast cheaper. Need more shelving and drawers in room.
I always enjoy my stay at Motel One on St Peter's square. The staff are welcoming, the hotel and rooms are clean and the location is great!
The hotel was lovely, perfect location. The staff were amazing, the rooms were spotless and the lounge area downstairs was pleasant to relax in.
Great hotel, the only issue was the room was freezing at all times!!
Reliably good Thank you
Very nice hotel clean nice room with everything you need adequate breakfast very helpful and friendly staff good value for money would recommend and stay again
Staff very friendly, hotel stunning, Rooms spacious and clean and the beds super comfy
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was very clean (including in the stairway!). The room was nice. I didn't stay for the breakfast, as I felt £13.99 was a lot for someone who would hardly eat anything. I thus wonder whether there's a possibility of offering different prices for different types of breakfast?
