Welcoming clean rooms all through the hotel, weldone
Very friendly and helpful staff. Cannot fault the cleanliness of the motel, bedroom was spotless.
Great hotel, fab location 2 mins from train station and about 10 mins into city life. Room clean bed really comfy, staff really friendly and helpful and the lobby smelt gorgeous.
1st time using Motel one. Great location, particularly for the main train station. The reception staff were very pleasant and friendly. My room on the 3rd floor was more than adequate for my needs for a 1 night stay. If I were staying for a longer period then a small fridge would have been very useful. The only minor negative that I had was the shower head kept moving when in use. Due to leaving early the next day I did not use the breakfat facilities. This hotel is very good value for money and I will certainly stay here again in the future.
The room was clean and had what we needed. The staff was very helpful. The location was across from the train station and accessible to most things in the city. Quiet room. Would stay again.
Lobby and reception area good. Cleanliness of the rooms poor. When I asked for ice for the room it appeared to be a problem. No one was at the bar on two occasions and on one occasion the bar staff member was having a chat with the receptionist. No offer of complimentary water in the rooms on biscuits and stained plastic recyclable cups were on offer for coffee and tea making. The carpet was dirty and grubby too. Vfm wise the offer was poor compared to the high end Maldron in the locality.
I needed to have a quick booking as the original place we rented is smaller than expected. We are group of friends who went to Manc to watch a concert. I volunteered to just find another place and good thing I did, and found Hotel Motel One. I had a peaceful uninterrupted sleep after the show.
EVERYTHING, I repeat everything was excellent as always.
Very friendly..would definitely recommend to friends. Chilled vibe
Good hotel. Only thing that needs fixing is breakfast. No cooked stuff. And too small an area...looked crowded at 8 am...but you can get a nice breakfast at the nearby railway station.
The experience was bit great , I had no service no one could phone me or I could not phone out , no WiFi , the view was a brick wall , willer on reception che king in ignored when queuing and then to be told k thought you were with other group should be more aware the tea and cider in room was not visible as too high
Customer relations is key to my grading, that remains a stand out.
Excellent
Had a very pleasant stay, staff really lovely , welcoming and helpful. Would stay again xx
Generally excellent, but carpets and soft furnishings in my room were stained in places. Probably inevitable as some guests probably don't care if they mess things up. Bathroom was small but brilliantly well designed and very clean.
Biblical 😎
Very good location next to main line railway station. Just excellent for a short stay.
We really enjoyed our stay. Excellent friendly helpful staff on reception and at breakfast. Excellent breakfast with amazing choices. Very relaxed atmosphere downstairs. Well done.
This hotel was in a convenient position just a 5min walk from Picadilly station. Also perfect if you are doing a Rabbies tour as meeting point was just a min walk accross the road through the other side of the tunnel on the left. Staff and facilities were great. Nice bar open til late and you can also just get a coffee in the morning if you don't want the breakfast service. I only deducted a point due to issues with our toilet but staff moved us to another room promptly
Excellent hotel clean and tidy and friendly staff who were very helpful
Very comfortable, quiet and enjoyable. Beds feel like you are sleeping on a cloud. Location is great and parking is convenient and easy.. Breakfast: there is plenty of selection for all and again staff are always on hand to help.. Always helpful, kind friendly staff. We have stayed here many times due to hospital treatments. Thank you to all staff who continue to make our stay enjoyable.
Clean and Comfortable rooms. Good location, next to Manchester Piccadilly Station and city centre
Thanks for the bucket hat!
Very comfortable bed and a decent size too, room may seem smaller than other places but it had everything one needs. Comfortable and clean.
Good hotel to stay in the centre of Manchester, only complaint nowhere to hang clothes in the bedroom
Price toi big
Lovely staff and got an upgraded room. Very happy
Fantastic experience
Staff efficiency and friendliness was excellent. The reception staff were incredibly busy (oasis weekend) and they remained totally professional.
Brilliant hotel. Modern and clean. Bed was really comfy and hotel felt a lot more expensive than the price. Would definitely stay again. Brilliant location and kind helpful staff.
Excellent hotel. Staff very friendly and professional. Only giving an 8 because I like to have a cooked breakfast
My room was excellent value for money. The hotel is in a great location, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms and hotel in general spotless clean and really well appointed. I highly recommend staying here.
friendly , easy, efficent
Clean, great location.
Great location, right next to Piccadily Station. Room & bed comfy, bar prices okay. Only downside is its only a continental breakfast, I would prefer a cooked breakfast, but for the price it's ok. Would definitely stay here again.
nice staff, quick check in and nice enviroment to be in. rooms are good quality and beds give a goonights sleep. Shower and washroom facilities very good. I dont pay for my rooms my company does so price wise it could be a little cheaper. good location right next to train station and feels fairly safe and secure for the city.
Fab Reception staff. Immaculately clean. Brilliant bar staff especially the guy from Mauritius. Room adequate. Locality great for what we wanted. Would definitely stay again snd looking to.book the Newcastle one soon.
Lovely clean room, very comfortable stay. Loved the bottles sparkling water presented on arrival. Buffet breakfast was lovely. Couldn’t fault our stay in any way. 👍👏👏👏👏 On arrival Check In was seamless. All staff at the front reception were friendly and knowledgeable. Would 110% recommend for a stay in Manchester with a bonus of being directly opposite the rail station 😀 We used the lounge/bar area and for a city centre the prices were excellent and the area was comfortable to sit in.
Lovely hotel in an excellent location right by train station
Excellent find. Can cancel up to date of arrival. Came for a concert at coop live. Over the road from station. Was everything we needed.
Friendly reception staff provided a fast and efficient check-in and were very helpful with directions etc. Whilst it’s great having a longer check out time to 12:00, the curtains in our room (3:44) were thin and unlined so the light coming through woke us at about 05:30. This did detract from the otherwise high quality of our stay, and would influence our choice of hotel in the future. It’s not very often we get a chance for a long lie in this didn’t happen because of the curtains.
Excellent position for Piccadilly train station, clean room with good working ac, very pleasant staff
Great, centrally located hotel, ideal for 1 night stay in the city. Very helpful, welcoming staff
We were in room 548 which appeared bright & clean but the air conditioning did not work & it was 30 degrees outside the cleaner had obviously removed a large amount of hair from the shower plug hole & dropped it in the toilet & not flushed so it looked like a birds nest floating in the toilet! Thick pink & black mould on bottom of tiles in shower. All reported to reception.Good selection for breakfast but No sugar free cereal options I did ask as I am diabetic.Continental style breakfast .
Lovely hotel. Parking next door (£27 -24hrs.) breakfast not the best for the price.
Good location, nice bar area, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We could have done with a couple of extra coathangers in the room if i'm being picky and we were on the 11th floor and were directly opposite an office building , so had to keep our curtains closed at all times when getting dressed etc for privacy. Other than that we had a lovely stay. We would use Motel One again.
Happy with everything about Motel One…very comfortable bed, clean, good breakfast. Great location right opposite the train station, quiet. Would happily stay again.
Check in staff were excellent and place was spotless.
Very nice standard of accommodation, close to the station with ample parking nearby
