Very professional and competent.
In total, it was good, the room was clean and you know what to expect when you know Motel One. overall good quality. But it would be great, if you would as a member get continuously bottled water instead of only one bottle at the beginning. Anything else was fine.
Friendly, very clean. Just as one expects it from Motel One. Perfect that we were allowed to share a double room either our small kid - which made the difference for us.
Ventilation in bathroom is not the best but everything else was quite perfect.
Hotel area is good, quiet and comfortable.
Very good quality of service and condition/appearance of hotel and rooms.
Good comfortable bed but disappointed with the breakfast.
Fine unless you actually want to sleep. Was on a low floor and could hear the trains running through the ground - a really loud rumbling sound every 2 minutes. They finished at 12.30am and started again at 5am. Asked to move rooms and was told they were full and the trains would stop soon. I pointed out they would also start again soon! No sympathy, offer of ear plugs, just fobbed off. Will never stay here again and would not recommend.
Lobby area was really good and rooms clean and tidy ,carpets could do with a clean or replacing !!!!
the option for no evening meal is a negative especially lone women or solo travellers do not feel safe to go out on an evening - the option of a toastie was very limited The bar staff when ordering a toastie wasn't particularly helpful , i explained i wasn't feeling well and asked to have my food wrapped to take into my room , It came out unwrapped and therefore not ideal to be walking through a hotel and into the lifts with bags / cases and an open plate! the actual toastie was not good at all ..
Poor customer service and did not manage my issue correctly or effectively. I have raised a complaint due to using your iron which has stained my shirt.
Top but complimentary water in the room would be a great extra
Another excellent stay in Motel One - Tower Hill, London. We had a twin room for two people, and breakfast, for an overnight stay with a friend in London for art events. Great room, clean and comfortable, the bed was very good. The lounge areas were excellent, cosy and stylish. And great for having pre-night out drinks. Very relaxed and friendly staff. Again, breakfast perfect, fresh and great choice. A welcoming stay, and great location. Thank you!
The room was very clean with everything you need in there, the air-con worked very well. The bed was comfy and bathroom/shower was spacious.
Fab location
The rooms met all my needs. The buffet breakfast was of good quality and offered a wide choice of comestibles. The staff at reception were friendly and well informed.
Having staying at Motel one in London for business (midweek) for the last 6 years, for literally several hundred nights I have always found the staff to be great and the rooms and location excellent. However, the average nightly rate has almost doubled in the last couple of years and it no longer offers good value for money. Having been quoted £398 room only for 1 night (with 10% discount) this hotel is no longer is worth it.
Really clean, comfortable room exactly what was needed on a business trip, good facilities - to make it even better, please rotate the matresses - clearly the occupancy is normally one and everyone sleeps on the same side which meant my mattress was very soft but when I moved across in the morning I realised the unused side was much firmer!!
friendly personal efficient Only too bad I forgot my shirt last time. I have called too ask to save it when I returned in 2 months time. But nobody knew anything about it. That was a disappointment.
I have been at this Motel One in London several times. The overall stay this time was ok - unfortunately, the very last day the guy who was serving at the coffee bar during breakfast was very unfriendly. I asked for a cappuccino to go - and although he was not busy with anything else - he just gave me a plastic cup and pointed to the automatic coffee machine which is exactly what I did not want. I had booked a breakfast which I did not consume, and this kind of service - just terrible
Very clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Shower pressure could have been stronger and room was a little small (though typical for London and fine for 1 person). I would stay again.
Great hotel, enjoyed my stay
Nice stay, clean room. The pillows weren’t great one was really hard and other too soft as options so not as comfy as it could have been.
The hotel has an excellent location in London as well as friendly staff. It is a pity that there is no safe in your hotel rooms, as in most Motel One locations. You should definitely install safes in all rooms, as this has become a basic function in business hotels in Europe. Considering that I have been a BeOne member for a long time, I consider that the price of my quotation was too high at the London Tower-Hill hotel during my last stay. I expected a more competitive price.
Lovely hotel and lovely staff. It was raining really bad when we stayed and a member of staff overheard me saying how I wish I had remembered my umbrella and he said we could borrow one from reception which was a lovely touch. And very good quality umbrellas also! The only issue I had was the shower smelt really bad of sewage but I boiled the kettle and put it down the plug and the smell went. So I didn’t need to inform reception about this. But overall lovely hotel, very affordable and exactly what we needed. Thanks :)
Excellent location very modern hotel. comfy clean bedroom, lovely reception area including bar. Very efficient staff. We checked in on line which made it a very quick check in. The only negative - we didn't have breakfast as we were meeting family but it did look overcrowded and not enough proper table seating.
Stayed here twice now and can’t really find any fault with the service or decor Always clean and tidy
Good as ever, except for one issue, a very damp smelling bathroom! Excellent position, bar area excellent and reasonable value for money. Really dislike the plastic cups in the room!
We were given one of the best rooms in the hotel with an excellent view of the city, presumably because we told the staff that it was our wedding anniversary. The room was clean and ready earlier than expected. The staff were all helpful and polite. The hotel itself is well designed and stylish. Umbrellas were handed out free to guests going out in the rain. The bar's cocktail menu is also competitively priced. We really enjoyed our stay here, and would stay again.
Really appreciated your help with the delivery of my parcel, thanks a lot.
Excellent stay in Motel One London Tower Hill. Friendly and helpful staff, and a welcoming stay. The room was comfortable and had great views, the lounge areas relaxed, luxurious, yet cosy, ideal for resting and stepping out of the hustle and bustle. Perfect location, a moments walk from Algate Tube Station, and bus links. Walkable distance for great galleries including Whitechapel, Ravens Row, Barbican, and everything the East End offers, shopping, food drink, and nightlife life. Loved the breakfast, fresh, light, and set me up for the day. I'll definitely be regularly staying again. Excellent time, thank you!
Tolles Hotel
Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. Bar in the lobby has a good vibe to it. Price is very reasonable for the area. I like the fact that the A/C works well. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location and very walkable.
The entire stay was amazing. Front desk had some system issues but handled it very well and remained calm throughout the issues. The lobby was so clean and very welcoming. And the bar service was amazing. I was staying with my sister who is very pregnant and the receptionist was very sweet with her making sure she wasn’t standing too long with our wait for the system. The room was also set up as a twin which I asked for before hand and was very grateful this was able to be done.
Tired rooms, rude bar staff, overpriced for what it is
The room was very clean and well presented and there is nothing to fault the room over there. The only thing that stopped me giving any higher score was the ambient noise. The room I was in must have been near some power plant that went off and made a hell of a racket a couple of times. Then the usual thing of being near a door on to the floor to access my corridor, with these banging as people passed through.
You persist in addressing me in German for no clear reason and I also fell while showering on my most recent stay. I did report this and requested a non slip mat which was delivered from my second night however no one checked as to my well being. Also there are no telephones or telephone numbers obvious in the room to allow guests to contact reception if you require assistance
Great location and very good accommodation for a very reasonable price.
Comfortable rooms and friendly staff make the stay at Motel One pleasurable.
Perfect, as always
Lovely room on top floor with great views. Very pleasant staff and good breakfast. Very relaxing and well placed for public transport. Easy walking to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
Location is great for my needs. The bathroom was not clean, there was blood on the wall of the shower. I told one of the cleaning staff and she said she would inform the person who had cleaned my room so that it would be as is should be. When I returned late on Saturday evening it was still there. I find that disgusting and it will def impact my decision about returning..
Great location and value for money. Reusable plastic cups is not better for the environment than glass, it makes the hotel look cheaper with plastic cups. AC and bathroom are big pluses. The carpet have seen better days and could use a good cleaning or replacement, as it looked dirty and felt a bit sticky when walking with barefooted.
Very satisfied, would like to visit again.
I normally have a really nice stay with you. However, on this occasion I had someone try to get into my room at 4am which was a little scary. It made me realise there was no phone in the room to contact reception and where my room was positioned, I had no mobile service so was unable to contact anyone int hat situation. I also did not seem to have a rubbish bin the room either.
I enjoyed every minute of my stay. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Looking forward to stay at the hotel in Spain!
I had a beautiful room, corner, great view. Room spacious enough for a city trip compared to other hotels in London. One thing I wasn’t happy with AC didnt work well. Somebody came to repare but couldnt fix it. Was surprised next day they didn’t try to repare. Or at least offer a drink or free breakfast for the hassle.
Very nice staff and room was clean and bright.
Excellent stay in a great location. Very clean rooms, professional staff and good choice in the bar and at breakfast. All that I would expect from a Motel One.
Although the hotel is stunning, I wasn't aware that you could request certain housekeeping items, so we struggled for the time we were there I emailed with questions before our booking but had no response whatsoever so we had no idea.
