Clean, service friendly and very helpful even at busy times
Very nice staff, great bar, clean room. I will say this was a very small room with tight space for 2 people.
In all other Motel One hotels where I have stayed, there is always a desk. In this one, there is only a very small coffee table and no desk. This is not helpful if you want to work from the hotel room. I asked reception whether there were rooms with a desk and was told, very few and clearly the receptionist did not want to change me to such a room. I won't be back.
I always stay at Motel One when visiting Berlin, so it has become like a home to me. Last time there was a confusion regarding the room I had booked and paid - I had booked the big room (I think 20 m2 instead of 16m2 - reciting by memory) However, upon arrival we were hosted in a small room, fortunately there was free big room to move us into, so the issue was solved. It was unpleasant for the person accompanying me, as she's an elderly woman. So please review in order to avoid such misunderstandings in future, as if there was no free room to fix the mistake with, we would have had quite the unpleasant experience. Positive: Lovely design, good breakfast Negative: The heating in the room was not quite ideal and the downstairs toilet was broken throughout my stay (5 nights).
The location is extremly suitable if you want to be absolutely free and operative as a wisiting turist using of the public transport. We used the "Berlin Welcome Card" https://www.berlin-welcomecard.de/en/berlin-welcomecard-variants-glance for 6 days (5 nights). All the other aspects (e.g.: cleanliness, or reception, etc) were excellent too. There are no such overheads like e.g. diverse wellness facilities or other five star extras, and hence the price could remain in the moderate price range. As visitors who wanted to feel the life in Berlin instead of staying between the walls of a wellness hotel, this is a great advantege. So the "Value for money" is extremly high to our experience. ... Actually, this Berlin experience moved us (we are Hungarians from Budapest) to plan a similar visit but to Dresden and Leipzig, again in a Motel One hotel, in the center of these former GDR cities. ... The error recovery attitude of the reception was also excellent, within one or two minutes we got a replacement room, due to a sudden technical error in the heating system: our query was not questionised, and we got no kind of pressure to remain in the original room, they really believed us and the helped us immediately. --- In short, we got a really pleasant stay due to the overall quality of the Motel One hotel, and naturally due to the city itself, including the useful "Berlin Welcome Card".
Great location, easy check in, comfortable mattress. I was surprised there’s no coffee set in the room and the sheets were a bit rough on the skin. We were encouraged to join the hotel membership but found no value in that.

No coffeemaker in room is pitiful. Blanket was too thin. No showercap is annoying.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful, particularly as my bag didn't arrive with me. I really appreciated the letter outside my room telling me it had arrived overnight.
Få pladser til morgenmad. Gerne noget mere skandinavisk style på morgenmaden med alternative brød/ boller. Æggekage/ spejlæg mm. Nydelig kaffe. Venlige tjenere.

Super central. Staff were friendly and the amenities were good. Excellent value for the price (compared to accommodation elsewhere in Berlin, and even more so by Alexanderplatz). I normally use AirBNB but will check out Metro One hotels first when I travel to larger cities from now on.

Warm welcome, service at the reception is always fast and with a smile, there are many employees at the reception, there are many elevators, high level of cleanliness, we got the room quickly, central location and fantastic breakfast (it would be better if there was a stand for making omelettes, just hard-boiled eggs is not enough) We are glad we met you. We will recommend and we will also return. I see that you have a high level of service awareness and it is very important to you that your customers are satisfied.
Nice hotel in a good location, our flight into Berlin was very early and we luckily were able to get a room when we arrived at around 11am.
Very helpful and friendly checkin people. When I asked for a quiet room (almost impossible by Alexanderplatz), she moved me up near the top of the building. Super service!
Perfect location. Modern, cozy and the most important quiet rooms. Beds are comfy 😌 Breakfast is delicious but a bit pricey (just in my opinion) Overall 10 out of 10, will recommend 👌 to friends
Location was excellent, staff very friendly and professional. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Room had very little space for hanging up clothes and no privacy drapes. Bathroom - shower head placement awkward, no space like a ledge or rack to put any personal things like washcloth etc, no grab bar. The raised sink basin leaves no space to conveniently place toiletries. The hand towel bar directly over the trash can is not a good location.
Friendly staff. Clean room. Asked for a room with a view and got one with a marvellous view of the Fernsehturm and the station.
Quite good but found empty small water bottle in the safe when we arrived…
Beautiful hotel, very strategic to visit Berlin. Very clean and beautiful view from my room at 15th floor. The staff is very friendly and kind. Nice the lounge and the rooftop bar. The breakfast is good but IMHO expensive. Highly recommended. I will be back for sure.

Hotel was lovely to stay, very central and easy to find. Staff were always very helpful and welcoming. Our room was cleaned every day to a good standard. The lounge terrace on floor 2 was stunning and so relaxed to sit and have a drink.
Fantastic location, spacious hotel great breakfast and amazing staff all sight easily accessible through local bus saving heaps on not needing tours!! Highly recommend
Modern hotel in great location right next to Alexanderplatz. Nice room with comfortable bed and bath with relaxing shower. Super sound-proof windows. Courtyard lounge on 2nd floor, bar with great views on the 18th. Efficient check-in, friendly staff. What else do you need? We will be back!
This was my 4th trip here and it was always wonderful, the room was ready and clean when I arrived and the staff were super friendly and helpful

Great value for the price. Front desk people were great (Philip is a machine!) and the location was very convenient.
Rooms are clean, location is great. But our bed was too hard and also I found the breakfast too basic.
There's not enough Telephone connection and Internet connections on the side of middle rooms ( Man has to get outside of the room or stand near the window in order to get proper telephone connections ).
The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast exceeded my expectations. I opted to have my room cleaned every day and maintain it was the right decision due to the weird insects I found crawling around on the floor, especially silverfish. Also, the bathroom ventilation was so poor that my toiletry bag was soaked when I packed my bags.

Motel One hotels are a safe option anywhere in the world. Always Clean, always stylish. Breakfast buffet could use a bit more variety though.
Location is amazing, front desk seemed understaffed the whole time, team was amazing but had to be rushing constantly, housekeeping was excellent, the rooftop bar was a bit disappointing snacks were all packaged, but the gin selection was amazing (a bit overpriced on my opinion)
This was an absolutely amazing experience. My husband and I went to this hotel for our honeymoon. They gave us a free upgraded room to give us a gorgeous experience. Everyone was incredibly friendly and I’m impressed with the amenities.

Dejligt værelse, flot udsigt fra 18 etage, god brunch.
7 Hurtig indtjekning virker slet ikke - havde lavet alt men stod i kø 20 min ved skiltet - så ringe. Morgenmad er ok men slet ikke 17 euro pr dag - alt for dyrt desværre
Meget tilfreds, beliggenhed er fantastisk, venligt og hjælpsomt personale, rengøring i top. Morgenmaden er dog lidt kedelig og kaffen er mega dårlig. Personalet i baren er også lidt langsom, det tager en evighed at få drinks hvis man er en gruppe. Burde kunne gøres meget bedre. Men alt i alt godt, jeg kommer igen, men tager morgenmaden et andet sted.
Fantastisk beliggenhed, venligt personale, fine faciliteter, god bar og rooftop bar. Der mangler dog plads til morgenmad, rigtig mange mennesker på en meget lille plads, alle står i vejen for hinanden. Ellers alt fint 🙂
