Best stay in Berlin, Breakfast with vegan Options, delicious cocktails available in the Bars. The Rooms are clean and have a huge Bed, everything fine. Very friendly people! Next to Alexanderplatz in a central good position.
The room was k but the service was generally lacking. I went late one night to request a bottle of water and was told “we don’t have any for sale, try to train station.” This was not a good answer. A better answer may have been “we encourage our guests to enjoy the water from the tap because the water in Berlin is quite good.” Anyway I felt unwelcome during that encounter. There were other things too nut I think that instance highlights how easy and inexpensively the experience could be improved at your hotel.
Great location, beautifully designed public areas, lovely staff, rooms spotlessly clean. My only complaint is the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room - this is a basic and no-one would expect to have to check for this. This should be made very clear on your website. We had to pay 3 euros at your cafe bar each time we wanted a hot drink!
I love staying at Motel Ones, doesn't matter if for work or leisure. Always a great combination of location, amenities and good price. In Berlin, the Motel 1 Alexanderplatz is my favourite. Excellent public transport links and of course that fabulous rooftop bar 😊
It's my second time in the hotel within 2 months and it's always a great experience. Feeling litterally like home, all the staff is kind, the room is clean and the location is the best. the TV Tower view always catches my breathe.
Motel One hotels offer the same good experience anytime, anywhere. In this case too.

Normally, you get a 9-10 from me. Two things this time were not OK. First of all the attitude of one of your receptionists while checking in who told me to wait adding: “… and anyway, checking in time is after 15:00”. I know this but only wanted to leave my luggage not have the room immediately at 11:00. Anyway, thankfully her colleague was much friendlier and immediately gave us an excellent room on the 17th floor which miraculously was already ready at 11:00. Second point: the room was too cold with or without the heating/AC on. It should be possible for your clients who like warmth to turn the heating up at all times.

Perfect position to visit the city, very close to all the “must see” locations
We arrived at the hotel after a night economy flight shortly after 9am and were pleasantly surprised to get an early check in. Staff member at the reception explained that they had reviewed our booking and noted our early check in request. This has really set the tone for our stay which has been impeccable. Rooms are on a smaller side, as it is generally known, but well equipped and with very comfortable beds. You cannot beat the central location. We returned to the hotel a couple of days later and got a late check out. We have nothing but praise for our stay in the hotel.

Excellent hotel, excellent location, excellent staff. Only disappointment was that my room was not refreshed at all during my 3 night stay.
Hotel is in a great location. Room was comfortable and the standard size of Motel One rooms (a bit small). Breakfast was really good, my only attention point here is the tables availability. Tables were not cleaned frequently. There were many times when there was nowhere to sit, not because there was no free table, but because there was no clean table available.
Friendly service, amazing breakfast, all clean and good. Improvement idea: shampoo and shower gel was two in one, and no extra products such as body lotion e.g.
I love Motel One in general and the Alexanderplatz hotel is the one I stay at most regularly outside the UK. Despite being a motel one member the guy who checked me and my brother in law in decided we had booked via booking.com and did not offer us a bottle of water and allocated rooms on the noisy railway side of the hotel

The hotel was lovely and the staff were very helpful. HOWEVER, we requested an accessible room and the shower had no grab handles - which is essential for safety for someone with a physical disability to shower. This needs to be urgently addressed as it is dangerous and false advertising of accessibility.
Great location with direct train to the airport and main attractions. basic breakfast which I would say it was a bit pricy. the only think I wonder was that apparently there was a fire alarm which we didn't hear at the topset floor. Maybe it was ok.

Very nice, comfortable and well maintained hotel. Very courteous, dedicated and professional staff.
Check in and staff was exceptional. We had 2 bookings and the staff member confirmed we had checked in on line and arranged for rooms next to each other. He was brilliant, efficient, friendly and so very helpful. Room was "compact" but exceptionally clean and with a fantastic view of the TV Tower from the 13th floor. Breakfast was superb. The complaint by others of nothing hot passed us by the the sheer choice and quality of food and drinks. Again staff were efficient and helpful. One ignorant customer seemed to think it was alright to smoke in their room which led to a fire alarm at 11.00pm. Again the staff (and fire crews) were the epitome of efficiency and we returned to our room within 20 minutes. Would we stay again. Yes. Would we recommend - ABSOLUTELY. Thank you for making our stay so. pleasurable.

Great hotel in a good position.
Room too small. Cheap soap. No cream or any other toilette material. Few hangers for clothes. Poor breakfast. Expensive for what you get.
I found the reception to be kind and helpful. And the room itself was satisfactory. As always the more negative things are easier to point out. There was a temperature control in the room, at least I assume that's what it was, but it didn't seem to do very much. I found the room to be too hot for my taste so I turned it to the minimum 10 degrees and maximum fan speed. Despite this I didn't feel much of a change in actual temperature. Another issue I had was in the bathroom. I noticed after taking a long shower, there was A LOT of water on the floor in front of the toilet. The glass wall covers half of the shower area so I suspect the water splashes over to the other side over time. Had to use multiple towels and it was still too wet go to the toilet without having shoes on. It was less of an issue if I took a quick shower and pointed the showerhead more towards the glass wall, but even so there was water on the floor, just less so.
There was some confusion regarding my online registration. Once that issue was resolved - I was in a better space. I had issue with the free breakfast which I thought was included in my hotel registration - seemingly it was not. Another point of confusion. One final point - in the room on the headboard great levels of dust - and the carpet was a bit dusty as well - the room needed a good scrubbibgThe overall location, facilities, staff and accommodations were stellar. As an urban dweller being able to access public transportation was golden! Within a day I was riding the public transportation with natives making it to my conference location Humboldt University.

I extended my stay, staying close to a month at your hotel and costing me multiple thousands of euros. For my last extension, I called the front desk and confirmed I would stay longer and pay in the late afternoon. Motel One’s, Max tried to force his way into my room and refused to acknowledge I had an agreement with the front desk to stay longer. He denied that I had extended my reservation, he demanded proof with the door forced open by him while I was sleeping and then claimed he found no reference to my reservation made a week earlier. I had a reservation well documented with a reservation number and timeframe. When I proved it to him by showing him my phone, he argued with me and said he could not find it. He never looked. He just wanted to harass me.
Dear Sirs, There are some recommendations coming from me. 1. It would be great to have some hot stuff for breakfast, like sausages and scrambled eggs. 2. In the evening I had to wait for a waiter for like 20 minutes, so I had to change my place to be seen by the waiter.
Very good place! Nice and clean room, good breakfast. Located in a strategic area of the city, close to public transport.

Stink bad in bath room and toilet space. Some restaurant staff cannot speak English, (cannot understand room number)
Friendly staff, clean rooms, simple check-in/check-out system, excellent, great value self-service breakfast, great public spaces. Highlight was the roof top bar but also the Level 2 longe/bar area. Really well situated for public transport and walking to many major sights. Could be better if…: TV options limited for non-German speakers; no tea and coffee making facilities in the room; room quite small.
All good - breakfast excellent (despite no hot bacon + eggs!) Very pleased to have coconut (+ soya-free yoghurt) and great rye bread 2 things: - There are 2 exists to M1Alex - one was locked and could not be opened on Friday evening c. 7.30pm. The staff did not understand and could not open it. In an emergency this could have been very serious - Just before switching off at c. 11pm, the television in 4017 let off an alarm sound that we only managed to stop by unplugging (with difficulty) the TV: we didn't dare watch the tv again for fear of the alarm going off in the middle of the night. Please check!

Dejligt værelse, flot udsigt fra 18 etage, god brunch.
7 Hurtig indtjekning virker slet ikke - havde lavet alt men stod i kø 20 min ved skiltet - så ringe. Morgenmad er ok men slet ikke 17 euro pr dag - alt for dyrt desværre
Meget tilfreds, beliggenhed er fantastisk, venligt og hjælpsomt personale, rengøring i top. Morgenmaden er dog lidt kedelig og kaffen er mega dårlig. Personalet i baren er også lidt langsom, det tager en evighed at få drinks hvis man er en gruppe. Burde kunne gøres meget bedre. Men alt i alt godt, jeg kommer igen, men tager morgenmaden et andet sted.
Fantastisk beliggenhed, venligt personale, fine faciliteter, god bar og rooftop bar. Der mangler dog plads til morgenmad, rigtig mange mennesker på en meget lille plads, alle står i vejen for hinanden. Ellers alt fint 🙂
Vi er virkelig glade for at bo på jeres hotel. Det eneste lille minus er ved morgenmaden, hvor det kan være svært at finde siddeplads og ikke altid nemt at sidde i en sofa eller lænestol og spise. En lille hjælp kunne også være at I havde nogle små bakker, så man kan have både tallerkener, kaffe mm på en gang, så ville der ikke være så meget kø hele tiden. Det er kun små ting og vi kommer meget gerne igen.
Venlig og hurtigt receptionspersonale. Lækkert og rent værelse. Totalt stille. Lille dobbeltseng (enkeltværelse). Alsidig og god morgenmad. God beliggenhed. Kommer igen!
