My go to hotel!
Faultless as usual. Accommodated an early checkin which was greatly appreciated..
Great location, rooms and great staff.
Lovely staff, great location, the layout of the tv and light switches need changing but superb hotel
Overall a positive experience. Good value for money, good location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room's comfortable enough, though the pillows could be a bit firmer.
Everything was great. My only negative was that the hotel bar couldn’t sell me a pint of coke/pepsi. They didn’t have a soft drinks gun! The tiny bottles meant for mixers were expensive.
Fantastic Hotel with Fantastic staff! Maria was especially great, very helpful and friendly.
Thank you for everything,we had a very pleasent stay
Great hotel
Lovely and clean room, managed to check in at half 12 and can’t fault they staff they were lovely. Great location you can see Piccadilly station from the hotel.
Amazingly comfortable big bed and pillows. Clean. Helpful staff. Lovely lobby area. Perfect for a solo stay. Room would have been cramped with 2 people sharing though. Odd number rooms overlook an office block with big windows, and I had to keep curtains closed all day so as not to be watched by many people when I wasnt in the mood to be watched. Sockets were slow for charging, so phone had to trickle charge for hours. For £13/14 you should include cooked breakfast options. It's expensive for continental.
Great location, great value, clean and functional room, friendly staff
The room was beautiful and clean. I loved the size of the bed and how comfortable it was. The TV created a really lovely atmosphere when you came into the room with the fish and the soundtrack. The views were beautiful even if it was just seeing the street below. I love Mancunian architecture so I liked the view from my window. The bathroom was also clean and easy to use. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was very tasty. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.
Motel One Piccadilly is my place to stay in the centre of Manchester. For a start, it’s great value for money. The room is clean and quiet, the bed is super comfortable. And the staff are welcoming and friendly. Now that I am a beOne member, I don’t have to hassle about checking in after 3pm. My only small gripes are the continental-only breakfast (no cereal or fried food), and a few additions needed in the room eg water bottle, and bin. Deserves 9/10.
Very convenient Hotel, close to rail and Metrolink stations. Room prices very competitive.
The hotel was excellent value for money. Quite luxurious. Room was immaculate and very comfy including the bed. Great choice at breakfast. I would definitely use this chain of hotel again.
Very comfortable room in a great location.
I chose the hotel based on the location near Manchester Piccadilly but were positively surprised that the hotel was really nice and high standard.
Great stay. Clean room, really friendly staff.
Good value and friendly staff
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Miss Hayley at the front desk. She was incredibly helpful during my stay. After I discovered a defect with the window in my first room, she quickly arranged for me to move to a new room with a proper window. Having traveled extensively, I can say that her hospitality and professionalism are among the best I have ever experienced. Definitely will rebook here again for my next visit
Very clean , modern, staff friendly, total value for money
Clean, nice shower, pleasant staff. Breakfast was not up to much £13 for no hot food is a bit pricey!
Area was not clean and the breakfast not option with egg. Just hard boiled and soft boiled.
Room was clean and tidy, bed very comfortable. A very pleasant experience and not breaking the bank either.
The room was small but immaculately clean. Perfect for a one night stay. It's very close proximity to the railway station was a bonus too. The staff were friendly and well presented. One down side was the breakfast, it was not for us but would have been adequate. Would I stay here again? Yes.
Excellent stay. Superb, affable, professional staff gave a warm, personal, welcome. Room clean and tidy (net curtains to prevent the office staff in the adjacent building seeing in would be helpful). Lovely atmospheric lounge bar with prompt service from the reception staff. Toilets needed a refresh as there was tissue on the floor at 9pm. Breakfast was a tasty continental style, easy to choose from with smiley hard and soft boiled eggs! Just a pleasant and pleasurable place to be. Will be back.
Excellent value for money. Close to the train station. Clean and functional. Staff on reception and bar friendly, polite, professional and engaging. Will definitely use again. Thankyou. Keep up the good work. My friend Bet was also extremely satisfied......
Love the Motel One hotels. Had a minor issue with my room, the AC not working. I chose to act like a spoiled child but Poppy made it hard to stay grumpy. What a star Poppy is.
Quiet, clean, calm, modern, everything that was needed, perfect location, excellent continental breakfast, reasonably priced, and, most importantly, helpful, pleasant and courteous staff. A pleasure to stay here
Check in smooth and lovely receptionist (also called Hayley). Room nice but the issue came when I returned from my event. The lifts were out of service, all 3 of them. This meant I was told that I had to walk up the stairs, I was on floor 6 which meant I had a struggle getting back to my room, I have sciatica so it took me a while but what would have happened if I was disabled/in a wheelchair?
A great first impression. Greeted with a warm welcome by a very chatty team member on reception. The rooms have everything you need and most importantly clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The bar area of the hotel is stylish and see a good variety of options.
Nice rooms, great shower but poor lighting in room too bright should add a dimmer switch. Does NOT offer cooked brekkie which is a missed opportunity! I would stay again.
Brilliant hotel, perfect location. The rooms are just the right size for a short stay. Can’t fault anything about this hotel.
Amazing stay as always here at Motel One Piccadilly, I always book to come here with great rooms service and atmosphere. Jack was amazing at the front desk as always, very chatty, the Mauritian guy at the bar was also a great team member and valuable asset to this hotel.
Very clean hotel, lovely setting. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast was lovely.
Stayed at motel one in Manchester whilst on a night out with friends. Excellent hotel, clean and tidy, staff are friendly and polite.
Good location, very clean. Bit disappointed with the breakfast. I’m sure when I stayed last year there was fresh fruit available
Fantastic staff. Stayed on the friday (25th July). A young lady checked me in but I forgot to get her name. She was not very tall. Helpful and pleasant. Rooms were really nice and up to the standard i expected as it was my first time. Black older gentleman on nights was very helpful as well. Fantastic location as well because its opposite the Manchester Piccadilly train station and it's right in the city center close to all the nice spots. Will definitely be staying here whenever I'm in Manchester.
Spacious and comfortable, room and bed were clean and comfortable.
Great hotel, good location for the city centre and close to station. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good bar area. Reasonable price compared to our central Manchester hotel.
The hotel had good facilities, tea & coffee, clean and very comfy bed. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay again.
The staff is n the front desk were v welcoming and the room very comfortable . One bedside light didn’t work and there was no milk for tea or coffee. Breakfast was quite good, I liked the boiled eggs, I would have loved a fresh fruit salad. Nice venue in a great location.
Clean, great location & value for money. Staff super friendly & helpful too.
Always a lovely stay here but on this occasion the stay was spoiled by the terrible drain smell in the bathroom
The room and shower room were ideal, we enjoyed the buffet breakfasts and would be happy to return to the hotel on our next trip to Manchester.
Excellent hotel in the heart of Manchester
Room is basic no frills but clean, bring your own products because only one soap provided for shower gel shampoo conditioner. The tv did not work and no phone calls in room. Plastic beakers instead of mugs just all very economy feel. Pillows were good and location is great for Manchester Piccadilly station
Good central location, clean rooms, reception staff were lovely, bar staff were a bit mardy
Staff were so professional and lovely. Always had smile on their face and weee so helpful
