Nice hotel in a good location. Staff were welcoming and friendly.
Rooms very small and not much space for clothes etc. Very clean and tidy though.
Great place to stay in central Manchester. Very convenient being close to Piccadilly station. Room basic but nice shower. Good to get a late night drink in the bar after a stroll back from a concert. We were able to leave our bags until it was time to get our train home.
Friendly and very helpful Staff, nothing was too much trouble. As a woman travelling alone to the marathon was quite daunting but staff helped with directions etc. Room was lovely and clean and had everything needed for one nights stay
Bed so comfortable, rooms size wise ok, food bit on the bland side, staff helpful,
Really nice and quiet hotel situated in a good location only thing they could change is the air con in the rooms but apart from that a really good hotel
Great location in terms of the proximity to the train station, and there was a good breakfast (continental), and was ideal for one night. However, room lacked a decent wardrobe (hanging rails only), bathroom somewhat small, but of significance no restaurant or means of obtaining food at the hotel, other than breakfast. No bar food (bar staff reluctant to prepare tastes as was mentioned at reception), so could only have crisps or cookies.
Good location for centre centre/Trains Front of house staff friendly and helpful. Rooms nice and clean but no USB charge points. Maybe suggest more bar staff in the evenings? Overall happy good value for money and would recommend and staff again
Very friendly reception staff, nothing too much trouble. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
Stayed just the one night but absolutely everything was great your staff the hotel room and breakfast was really enjoyable . To be honest based on that experience there isn’t anything we could have expected nor improved upon. We definitely will stay at your hotel should we come back to Manchester as the location was perfect
Great location and value for money. The only thing that let it down, there was a long queue, and they weren't serving cocktails in the bar at 10.30 on Friday night. There was only 1 man behind the bar and he was running around trying to serve everyone, very polite and apologetic, but the 2 staff at the empty reception didn't come over to help.
Friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff made us very welcome on arrival. Hotel was clean and comfortable lounge bar area. Room was adequate, clean and comfortable bed with good quality pillows too!
Great location, good value and really friendly staff with excellent service. An overall great stay in modern clean contemporary facilities.
Hot stuffy room with ineffective air conditioning. Placed in room opposite elevators on 13th floor which was quite noisy until early in the morning. Poor water pressure on shower in room 1313. Couldn't get the wifi to work. Breakfast layout confusing. Please just include hot water and milk near the teabags. Apart from this stay was fine, modern lobby and room was comfortable enough.
Great staff, location perfect close too city centre and rail station. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for a stay. Looking forward to staying again in future.
Excellent.
Great staff and value as always, thanks, and super convenient location for our GM office. Carpets & furniture are all starting to look very tired and stained. Think you said there’s a refresh coming? (Housekeeping is good; cleanliness score is about this issue) Heads up: Air cooling in 8.26 wasn’t working, then sounded ‘clicky/sparky’ after a reset.
Enjoyed our brief stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms and good vibe. Thanks 🙂
Room was clean. Shame bar doesn't have draft beers, lagers and Guinness.
Great accommodation and friendly helpful staff
Clean hotel. Enjoyable stay with my grandson.
I had an amazing experience at the Motel One Manchester Piccadilly, thank you.
Excellent hotel! Perfect location! Immaculate and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Travelled alone with my young daughter and had the perfect stay in Manchester! Thank you!
Very helpful staff
Perfect location, clean rooms with everything you need. Good price and great hotel bar that stays open until 2am. Didn't eat in the hotel the passed the buffet breakfast in the lobby and it looked very nice too, overall an excellent stay!
Great location and very comfortable room. The team were very helpful and pleasant.
Friendly staff. Good location.
Had a good experience. Check in was easy, room comfortable and staff very friendly. A little noisy being lower in the hotel but on the whole it was fine.
Stayd with my sons for 4 days. Great service and very clen room and bed a Great hotell. The workers there where very helpfull with questions about traveling in and around manchester. Will come agian
Good weekend stay, marred by withdrawal of the free late checkout on bank holiday Monday and the really bad drains smell in the bathroom (room 9-23)
The rooms are quite small and not worth the price. Issues with washroom and heating system as well.
Perfect location for the city centre. Excellent customer service and good breakfast available. Rooms are a fair size, very clean, modern and the bed very comfortable. Lounge chairs are not the most comfortable for older guests.
The staff were great as usual, the room was perfect for my needs. This is my 4th stay here. I wasn’t overly pleased at paying double what I usually pay for the same room with it being Easter, so value for money was not as good.
Hotel not suitable for families as second bed is inadequate
Good, clean, well situated, great value
Excellent reception staff was going to leave our bags while we went shopping but room was ready 12 o’clock was on 12th floor great views of Manchester would definitely stay again
The air conditioning was stuck on 25 °C upon arrival. But after telling the receptionist about the issue, it was fixed when I arrived the room later the same night.
This was a great location, located across Piccadilly station, connecting you to national rail service and local tram/Metro. City is very walkable, but if you’re a transit enthusiast or like to travel by transit to save car costs, this is for you. The room was great, very clean and comfortable bed. Small but it is just what you need, especially if a solo traveler
Great one night stay- quick check in, clean room, very good shower. The room was quite basic but you get what you pay for.
Great location near train station and great restaurants
Excellent hotel, but noticed some very unprofessional, immature staff behaviour which was very poor. I approached reception in the morning of my check out to see two younger women already checking out with three female members of staff at reception. The two young women were dressed well and were clearly off to do something special - they were very happy as they were checking out. As they walked off from the three female staff, I noticed one of the staff look at the others and roll her eyes in disgust and look at the other two members of staff who smiled. This act publicly demonstrated a distinct lack of both respect for your guests and professionalism in their roll. It was quite possibly the most immature behaviour I have witnessed in this hotel in my many visits. I approached the three female staff and made them aware that I had witnessed this act and told them how disgusted I was to have seen them clearly and obviously making an outward, negative judgement of their paying guests. This behaviour is unbelievably unprofessional and unacceptable in any customer facing staff - you NEVER show judgement on your face in a venue where you deal with, or can be seen by other paying guests. This was hugely disappointing and will certainly affect my opinion of this hotel, as this is all I remember now.
Excellent hotel, I usually stay with Premier Inn but no more . Motel one Piccadilly is half the price I would have paid at Premier Inn. Motel one was very clean and modern, staff was very helpful and cheerful, I liked the bottle beer served in the on site bar which is J.W. Lee bitter lovely beer.
Very convenient location opposite the station and walking distance to city centre, good room with comfortable bed and walk in shower, spotlessly clean, excellent value. I do think breakfast is not such good value but the overall price is good and there are other options on the doorstep. A safe in the room would be a bonus, and herbal teas could be included with the tea options. I have stayed previously in the London Motel One and have recommended Motel One to several friends who have stayed in different locations.
Fantastic place to stay Very close to Railway Station and City Centr Walking distance to AO Stadium Clean, large room Immaculate areas to sit in lobby and Bar Very pleasant stay
This is the 2nd time I've stayed at motel one and I have nothing but positives from my stays. The rooms are nice, the bed is comfortable & the showers are good which is rarely the case. Check in and check out is easy and all of the staff are very friendly. I will be choosing motel one when I next visit Manchester.
Motel One was quite a bit cheaper than most hotels in the area, so we weren't expecting it to be great. On entering reception, we were greeted by friendly staff who informed us that the reception was manned 24/7 if we had any problems and that the bar, which was lovely, served until 2.00am. Our room was very modern, spotless, and had very comfortable beds. The shower was great and the bath towels were as thick as duvets. Altogether, it was a lovely experience and 2 minutes walk from Picadilly Station.
Great location close to Piccadilly station. Very comfortable room and bed. Nice city view. Proper bathroom (no glass doors!) No noise. Friendly, helpful staff.
Lovely stay, Overall room clean and comfortable. Couldn't get the TV to work but not a problem on this stay. Breakfast simple but good value from money. The jewel in the crown of this hotel are the staff who are all warm, welcoming and extremely capable and efficient. Would recommend.
Great location. Round the corner from Piccadilly station and a short walk, bus, tram from anywhere in the city centre. Lovely lobby and bar area. Friendly, helpful staff. Decent size rooms with all needed amenities for a couple of nights stay. No parking but there is a multistory next door. Pretty good rates for a city, especially over the weekend.
Lovely 2 night stay. Nice inviting decor in the lobby with comfy seating. Room was clean and comfy. Bed, bedding and pillows were very comfortable.
