Staff were amazing- especially at reception ( sorry I can’t remember their names) But they were so helpful.
I really enjoyed my stay. The room was nice and clean and quite. The breakfast buffet was just right.
Wish I had gone to a Premier Inn. Room was cold when I arrived, and no blackout curtains or blinds.
Excellent staff at front desk and extremely good and healthy breakfast. Very clean rooms too
Great value and lovey hotel !
Wow, what a stay .. from the moment we arrived to check in (far too early I might add) the check in desk led by Fernando, we're super welcoming and helpful, letting us leave our bags at the hotel to allow us to enjoy the city centre, and giving us brilliant advice on pubs and restaurants near the hotel. The Molly House was exceptional btw. Burgan thank you for the excellent coffees and restaurant advice. Felix mans the bar and makes just THE BEST Negroni cocktails. He was so attentive, our glasses were barely empty before he was checking if you needed a refill and ensuring we were so well looked after. Breakfast was simple but delicious and the smiling, courteous and welcoming personality of Ausra and ensured a great start to each day and. From the moment we walked into the hotel to the moment we left, from reception staff, the bar staff, breakfast team and even the cleaners , everyone was smiling, polite and helpful. You're a credit to the Motel One Group and make the Hotel. We're looking forward to staying again soon and for longer ! Thank you 🙏😁
As always, my experience with my stay at Motel One has been second to none. From check-in to check-out, I've never had any issues and the staff are always more than happy to assist with any queries etc. I usually stay at the Piccadilly hotel when I am in Manchester. The location is central to where I like to venture around with friends. Great walking distance to the Village and neighbouring restaurants. 10/10
The only thing that can improve this excellent Hotel is having a proper ceramic cup for your morning tea instead of a paper one. It's the only fault I can find otherwise great in every aspect.
I wasn't planning on staying in Manchester that night, but I was returning from abroad and my flight was delayed, and by the time I had landed and got through the airport I had already missed the last train home. Having used this hotel before and being happy with it and the proximity to the railway station, I booked for the night and got an early train home the next morning!.
Someone on the bar at 3.25. Everybody busy on reception desk and people waiting at the bar. Waited 5 minutes and left. Lost a sale
Room and staff were great. The TV in the room had about 300 channels of which about 60 worked, many of which were repeats of working ones. The EPG was a sea of blank entries, channels that shut down years ago, and channels that did have entries but didn't work. Some channels gave a picture but due to weak signal kept glitching.
Close proximity to train station.Great dining and bars near by. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Public areas comfortable and well maintained.
First time staying in Motel One Manchester Piccadilly and it certainly will not be my last. Great central location right next to the main Piccadilly Station. Stunning hotel, with really friendly check-in staff. The room was perfect for a sole traveler; very clean, comfy bed and well decorated. Tea&coffee stand was a cute touch too. Bathroom was spotless and shower was great. Continental breakfast was great and Staff were friendly and attentive. Overall a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it.
Very helpful team and centrally located.
Very good and a good price
Fantastic experience! Lovely room, good location, delicious breakfast, and outstanding service. Hugest thanks to Christopher Graves, who very kindly mailed me my passport when I inadvertently left it in the hotel safe—it was in my hands 24 hours later, I couldn’t be happier with service that went above and beyond.
Great location, clean room. Friendly staff.
Lovely place to stay!
Great value for money. Really friendly reception staff. Accommodated our request to have a quiet room.
Pillows need replacing and could do with blackout curtains
I was welcomed even though it was very late at night. Everyone could not have been more helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean and there was a really wide selection of fare for breakfast.
For a “basic” hotel offering, I was very impressed. Amazing value for money. Skipped breakfast as not a great fan of continental breakfasts and that seemed to be the only thing on offer. Only other slight aggravation was that the bar, whilst open late which is a plus, is located so near to the front door, and people regularly popping out for a cigarette does mean it can be a wee bit cold and drafty.
Stylish hotel with nice rooms and facilities. I would definitely return.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff to the spotless room comfortable bed also easy booking and a fabulous price. This was our 2nd stay and we will continue to make this our go to hotel when in Manchester. Xx
Negative, rooms to hot, airco not cooling enough and windows cannot be opened. Positve, very good beds and clean.
Excellent warm welcome. Hotel rooms feel dated.
Great staff friendly, cheerful and helpful. Good clean room.
Overall a good stay. Convenient location, disappointed to not have a room safe for valuables and limited lower level lighting in room and bathroom meaning to go to toilet in the night, you have to put main lights on. WiFi continually dropped out whilst in bedroom (1.42) meaning interrupted business video calls.
Great location. Friendly staff. Always great value for a stylish, comfortable hotel.
Very good. Helpful reception, good location clean room
Efficient check in, warm welcome, consistent and comfortable rooms to a good standard. Bad smell on drains in the bathroom on my last stay that I reported the reception. Feedback was well received by your reception staff giving me confidence that you care about your customers and want to improve. I don’t like the plastic tea cups! I brought my own mug this time.
Nice room, good price, close to where i as going, no complaints👍
Breakfast was good, staff were helpful and polite, room was clean and tidy. Downsides came with the room itself: The heating/aircon did not work I could get zero internet on my personal items in the room, no phone calls and subsequently phone alarm did not activate, Hotel internet was available, but as with all things not secure. There were no usb charge point in the room I stayed in (4/34), which meant hooking my phone to work laptop to be able to change it, I just wouldn't have expected to need to carry a plug in this day and age. Just 1 usb would benefit guests, and no I wouldn't dig around on the back of the tv to locate.
As always, I had a great stay. I love the staff, room facilities, breakfast etc. Oddly I was given a disabled room this time which is why it's not a 10
Excellent hotel and staff
The room was clean, tidy and everything was good, but unfortunately my door would not lock once I left the room, so I could only leave certain items in the room, but I did not know this until the morning after my overnight stay
I love this hotel for its location, cleanliness and staff, however, I’d say the shower pressure could be improved and the bathroom occasionally had a bad sewer smell about it, and the aircon didn’t seem too great this time, I couldn’t get it to feel cool enough in the room. Overall a great stay and staying again in May
Excellent stay as usual. Clean, comfortable and very friendly staff. Great size room for the price.
Clean, sleek, modern reception and bar area. Rooms are clean, bed comfy, room has everything you need - tea/coffee, hairdryer, coat hangers in open racks, stool / desk and chair, bathroom nice and clean as well. Free open Wi-Fi. Bar was good and not excessive prices. The TV signal was flaky which was why it is not a 10.
Really enjoyed my stay, the gentleman who checked me in on Monday night 10th November was fantastic, very friendly and professional. I had the best sleep I'd had in a while but I was very disappointed with the bathroom, the shower was broken and wouldn't fit in the holder to shower, I had to try and balance holding it and showering.
I like this place. Always clean and fresh. Bar is expensive Very disappointed that there was no respects for the 2 minute silence on the 11th Nov at 11am. Staff carried on talking and music carried on playing across the audio system
Well presented, decor lovely, clean cosy atmosphere. Welcoming staff
Very comfortable and location good
Very friendly and effficient staff. We had a short stay, so did not really use any of the facilities avalable.
Excellent. Convenient for all transport. Super varied and good quality continental breakfast. Polite, friendly, efficient helpful staff. Very clean everywhere. Lots of green and eco credentials, outstanding value for money. Good wifi. One small criticism- the room lighting could do with a dimmer.
Was a bit sceptical as I ve never stayed in any of your hotels and the price point was very competitive. But was more than pleasantly surprised by everything you offered Everything surpassed my expectations and will definitely recommend and return
With Motel One, you usually know what you're getting. This one however seems to be a little inconsistent with the rest and just not as good as them. Maybe the other locations have spoiled me. My stay was 3 nights, so had some downtime to fill in the room. However, the signal for the TV is so poor, you can't watch any channels or listen to any radio stations. There's just no point in it being there. There are also no shelves next to the bed or bedside tables. It's a small detail perhaps but something that's included at all other Motel One locations. You don't really have anywhere to place your phone whilst it charges, or a glass of water for the night here. There is a small table against the opposite wall but half of it is covered in Motel One literature, so not much use in that being there either. These things are all better at the other Motel One locations nearby.
Our original hotel cancelled on us but the staff at motel one were brilliant they sorted us a room out and made us feel comfortable. So very happy with our stay. The room was lovely too and had everything you needed.
Amazing staff as always, lovely vibe and very comfy bed. Everyone went above and beyond. My go to Manchester hotel!
Room was very small and we recommended this hotel to friends who didnt enjoy the stay. At 3am police were called to the hotel for an incident which discturbed our relaxing weekend ....It wasnt a great stay. Unsure I would use this hotel again.
