Everything in the hotel was good including the service and room, only thing that annoyed us was the cleaner started knocking early to see if we had left to clean the room and woke us up, proceeded to do it three more times when it should have been clear on the computer system that we was still in the room as we didnt need to check out until 12.
While we found the room to be clean and comfortable during our recent stay, my partner and I are deeply disappointed by the lack of resolution and support following a serious security incident. An unauthorized individual gained access to our room using a key card, which constitutes a significant breach of security. This incident could have had far more severe consequences.Upon reporting the issue to hotel staff, we received minimal acknowledgment or concern. I subsequently sent an email detailing the matter and was informed it had been forwarded to a manager; however, I have yet to receive a response. This lack of follow-up is concerning and unacceptable.
Good location and overall great place to stay only issue was I asked reception for an additional pillow and was told it would be delivered to my room but it didn’t arrive
Stayed many times at various cities and this is 2nd time in a few months at hotel one piccadilly manchester. Rooms are clean very comfy and modern. Staff always friendly and helpful . Close to piccadilly train station and nearby shops bars and restaurants, Also easy to get to trams for getting around . Will always look to stay at motel one on any future stays as its always delivered all I need.
I stay at the hotel on a regular basis and I find the staff to be so helpful and friendly and always welcome me back. The temperature in the room was very warm aircon didn’t seem to work that well so maybe a fan in the room as well might be handy on hot days. The rooms and bathrooms are always spotless. Look forward to returning next month for my birthday celebrations.

I love the comfy beds and coffee. Your towels are great, especially for people with long hair.
Clean and quiet, room had great view over the city and beyond. Why no conditioner in the bathroom? All-in-one shampoo and conditioner at least - my hair was like straw. Breakfast was disappointing - coffee like dishwater, cheese and ham instead of bacon / cooked breakfast, which is one of the treats of staying at a hotel.

Location - Perfect Cleanliness - Perfect Comfort - Perfect Ideal location for Etihad campus as well as central to other locations with Piccadilly station a two minute walk away. The bar was open until 2am so you can have drinks after a concert. The only thing that could have improved was breakfast, it was continental which is ok but not a great selection. Other than that it was perfect. Thank you
I was really impressed by the service, the clean bathroom and above all the pillows - first time ever I've stayed away from home and found a range of pillows to suit!
Friendly, efficient staff; excellent room facilities with comfy bed; good breakfast though could have had some better quality cold meats and bagels.
Provided with a comfortable bed. The room was small, put provided all of the creature comforts.

Don't think the room was worth the £100 that I paid for it. Room was a bit run down. Carpet looked like it needed a clean. Only single plugs and not very accessible. Still don't understand why hotels can't use a fitted sheet as bedding comes apart as soon as you sit on it. Pillows were hard and lumpy and would have preferred two of the same pillows rather than a normal and a long pillow. Pillowcases had one side completely opened, again can we not use a fitted pillowcase. Having used the Glasgow location of Motel One. The Glasgow location room was a much better room than the Piccadilly location. This is why I choose to stay at Motel One rather than the Premier Inn due to having a better room at Motel One Glasgow but wished I had stayed at the Premier Inn for this visit as there was not much difference in price between Motel One and The Premier Inn.

Absolutely lovely
I had problems with a hotel earlier that day and came into Motel One, your reception staff were lovely, so helpful, booked me room, help me set up as a member, there was a room free at the time, I was able to go to my room straight away which was amazing. I had a few enquiries while I stayed and your staff were very helpful and friendly the entire stay. I would absolutely recommend staying at this hotel to anyone.

The staff and location was excellent only 2 minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly station. And the rooms were very clean ,fresh and nice. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel location excellent. Hotel and rooms spotless. Reception friendly and efficient. Nice touch with bottle of water. Only negative was perhaps lack a food option but not a problem as plenty of options close by.
Good choice for me - except (along with the majority of hotels) it caused me to create needless waste. Easy wins would include: marking the bathroom tap for hot and cold positions to save guesswork/waiting while wasting water; number of towels and pillows could be supplied via request at booking (i was single occupant of double room with no choice but to have 4 pillows and 4 towels for a single night. Nothing to explain how i might reduce the post-occupancy laundry load given i only wanted/used ¼ of the supply).
Fabulous two nights day in Manchester. Situated right next to the main station and it’s a nice little walk into the city centre. Nearby are loads of pubs and restaurants and the hotel is nice and clean, the staff are brilliant! I asked them for a quiet room as I had heard that the hotel can be quite noisy but I didn’t feel that was the case. They put me up on the 12th floor and I didn’t hear a thing. I asked for an iron and ironing board and they can supply you with those and I quite often saw the reception staff nipping over to the bar to help people out if the barman wasn’t there. Honestly for the price I couldn’t believe the quality of this hotel and I can’t praise it enough. I only had two tiny pieces of feedback (not complaints). There is no side table next to the bed so it can be a bit fiddly putting things on the floor on one side of the bed. I would’ve liked a glass in the bath room to put your toothbrush razor et cetera in.

Staff warm and welcoming. Reception and down stairs area modern and comfortable. Room basic and in need of new carpet and a coat of paint but good value for money.
Nice reception area and bar, good to have somewhere to relax, or do a bit of work, in a nice environment. Breakfast is good, maybe a bit expensive. Rooms (and whole hotel) are clean. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Was able to check in early which was great, however initial room had a extremely strong smell of sewerage in the bathroom, moved to a second room which was fine. Wi-fi was very hot and miss.

The hotel was lovely. But there was an awful smell on the carpet at the right hand side of the bed. It smelt very strong or urine. I reported to reception the next morning and she just said thank you. No apology or anything

I was due to have an important meeting the following day so chose motel one as it was Conveniently situated 2 minutes away from my meeting. Staff were friendly on arrival and check in was quick and easy. My room was clean and adequate for my needs. It was lovely and quiet so I got a really good nights rest. Due to the check out time being 12pm this enabled me to have breakfast at the hotel, for which there is a good variety to choose from. I was then able to leave my belongings safely in my room, attend my meeting and still be back before my check out time! Again check out was quick and painless! I would definitely use this hotel again
Overall good
Our room was freezing and it was difficult to warm. However the overall hotel and staff are so lovely. The location is perfect if you drive because of the car park or train station is nearby.
Excellent service and cost as usual. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We requested to get into our room earlier than the required time and they managed to fit us in. This is our go to hotel when visiting Manchester.
got an upgrade to a higher floor and could have late check out if needed. room was small but adequate for our needs it was very clean and had a good shower. didn't bother with breakfast as only continental available. would use again for an overnight stay
