The hotel was stunning . The room was wonderful And the treat was the rooftop bar/seating area. The one suggestion I have is adding shelving or drawers into the room as there is hardly any space to store clothes.

Reception staff were very friendly. Easy access to a lot of interesting places either by busses or within walking distances.
The room was bang average, and only having 2 paper cups (which both began to leak) lowered what have been much higher standard stays at various Motel Ones over a number of years.
Only one negative point; the beds are hard and not so comfortable. But the rest was great
All was great, location, friendly and very helpful staff, view from roof bar, room itself, taxi stop right next to the hotel. Perfect value for money. I will definitelly recommend this hotel to my friends.
Very comfortable room. Clean and functional. TV options limited for non-Spanish speakers and functions were slow. WiFi good but concerned at lack of password access/security of such an open server. Toiletries/Shower could be improved - the bottle and pump was clearly overused and the shower holder was broken/loose. Breakfast was great. Option for gluten free bread would make excellent. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Roof terrace was a pleasant surprise!

The stay was very good, except for the fact that the walls were so thin that I could hear my roommates doing their s**ual things all night and a good part of the day. The room was clean and cleaned every day, the bar is great, the rooftop is my favorite part. I will come back

Special thanks to the friendly and familiar stuff at the breakfast-buffet! So every day has already started off pretty well! :-) Best breakfast I ever had at Motel One. Very large selection including vegan options and spanish/catalan regional breakfast!
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its good location, friendly service, beautiful décor and amazing terrace, where you can relax with a cocktail from the bar while enjoying the stunning landscape! The lobby is beautiful, fantastically furnished and comfortable where you can have breakfast or take a break with some snacks from the bar while relaxing on the comfortable sofa or armchairs or swinging in one of the fantastic colourful hammocks. And there's and equally beautiful patio! In short, you can find the ideal solution for you at any time or occasion of the day when you want to stay at the hotel before or after visiting the city. I was very satisfied with the room, the cleanliness and the help-desk service. I asked the staff for restaurant recommendations and they gave me some great suggestions. Thank you! Everything was simply perfect! It's more than worth it and it's good value for money.

Very good location of the hotel, room clean and tidy, we felt safe in the hotel. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great, although the breakfast offer was nothing special, just average.

Staff were very friendly, the room and bathroom was spotless, the room is perhaps compact but quite functional. There is a safe in the room that is easy to operate. Overall though, a very high standard.
The hotel is located near the park, which is precious in any big city, a good fresh morning air. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast have products for everyone, and they are a good quality. Bonus, you can go to the beach walking. :)
Everything was excellent. Great location. Rooms were just what our family needed. Staff was great and made sure to let us have connected rooms. The Booking listing (where we booked) states that there's a parking garage(s) nearby, but doesn't seem to list that the hotel has own garage - this would have made our visit even more comfortable (but this is a minor issue).
The whole place was super clean and the facilities were really nice. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The rooftop has an incredible view and the room was nice. However, the picture of the bathroom we were provided when booking was much bigger than the one we actually got and the one we did get was quite small and cramped. The room itself also didn’t have many facilities (e.g. cupboard space, mini fridge, kettle etc).

Overall, it's a good hotel with a splendid lobby and terrace, friendly and professional staff, clean premises, good bedding and an ideal location. I gave it a 7 for two reasons (which I hope will be changed for the better!). The first is the functional room but it has nothing more: no fridge, no coffee maker or coffee, no bottle of water - not even one on arrival - no desk, only one trash can in the bathroom, no ventilation in the bathroom. For 183 euros a night, we expected a little more. The second reason is the breakfast which, although decent, does not change at all and becomes boring after a few days. It does not offer hot dishes and a little more than tomatoes and cucumbers would have been welcome, like a salad, for example. In conclusion, the quality of the ground floor gives way to a certain disappointment for the rest, we unfortunately have the impression that the hotel management is being stingy :(

I propose to you having a minibar or a fridge in the rooms. Especially, in the summer time.
There were silverfish in the toilet. The breakfast didn’t offer health options.
An excellent central hotel with very friendly staff.
We have stayed in Motel one several times, in winter around New Year and in summer, before and after our holiday in Mallorca. It’s perfect for a couple of nights stay, we enjoy the lobby and bar area, also the rooftop with amazing views. The only downside is that the rooms are rather small and there’s no wardrobe so it’s not convenient for longer stays. Everything else is lovely
Hotel has good vibes in and in a great location--walkable to many of the bordering neighborhoods. Really enjoyed the spacious lobby with lots of seating--never felt too crowded, and was maintained cool with AC in the summer. Also really enjoyed the park-facing room, the windows/doors are well insulated so you don't hear the street sounds. Room was on the smaller side but was clean and had great AC. One area for improvement is the shower of the bathroom, the shower floor is elevated so naturally the water gravitates down towards the floor--making the rest of the bathroom floor a puddle. Would recommend installing some sort of ledge or at least provide additional towels to mop up the water.

Great Stay with Room for Small Improvements Fantastic location, just a short walk from the metro station. Stylish interior as you’d expect from any Motel One. Breakfast offers a good selection overall, and the Americano from the machine was great. Staff were lovely – friendly and welcoming. A few small downsides: more non-sugar cereal options would be appreciated, and the strawberry yoghurt tasted more artificial than natural.
I loved the big garden, the nice spacious lobby. The location is very good.

Great value hotel, excellent facilities for the price. Room was clean and comfortable, location is very central to everywhere we wanted to explore and the roof terrace was lovely for a relaxing drink in the early evening with amazing views.
Everything was great, the bedroom, the breakfast, the staff and the situation of the hotel with metro and busses (H 116 directly to the beaches), not far from the old Barcelona through the parc! I recommend and will certainly try another one in another city!

At our Motel One Barcelona-Ciutadella, we combine typical Spanish architecture with locally manufactured designer furniture and the natural influences of the surrounding flora and fauna. The result is enough to make you forget you just came to stay the night! From the reception with its classic cement tiles to the comfy chairs by Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola and the carpets by the local company Nanimarquina, the hotel is full of inspiration from the nature of the nearby park.
