Incredibly unfriendly staff. Uncomfortable and limited accommodation comforts. This is the only time I will ever stay here. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
I had excellent time staying in Motel One Ciutadella. From the first moment the staff was welcoming, kind and ready to assist with any request. Keeping my luggage before checkin after checkout, printing, transportation- wonderful service.
Great location, comfortable room, lovely roof terrace.
The staff is really kind and competent; the only suggestion is to add a fridge in the room.

From arrival to departure the service was excellent and very professional. The room was excellent and the bed was amazingly comfortable! Great breakfast options and a really cool vibe in the bar area. Would definitely stay again
I really enjoyed the stay at Motel one. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The the staff are very nice always available for help or to answer your questions and make sure you get satisfied. The breakfast included all the things that I like it was varied and tasty.
You can write it like this in English: The hotel was in a great location, had a nice design, and was clean and well maintained. However, there was no complimentary water or coffee provided in the room. Unfortunately, our experience with the reception staff was not very positive. We did not feel that they were particularly attentive, welcoming, or helpful during our stay. Overall, we liked the hotel itself, but we were disappointed with the level of service. We were informed that the hotel provided filtered drinking water, but we found the taste of the water to be quite unpleasant. At the very least, providing bottled water to guests would be a reasonable and appreciated gesture. Despite these issues, we generally enjoyed our stay thanks to the hotel’s location, cleanliness, and design.

I really liked the atmosphere: very friendly reception, easy to talk to, fast answers by e-mail if I had sudden questions. Nice style in the interior. Location is super: directly at the wonderful park, lovely place to walk around. The neighbourhood felt safe. Taxi's waiting right outside the door which was very helpful during my stay. Good breakfast.
Fruendly stuff, excellent location. Only very small rooms and a little bit to expensive. We paid on 2 days 300 EUR rate. This is even for Barcelona to much for a motel one.
Clean, beautiful property- especially for the price. Smooth easy process to check in, stylish decor, comfy beds, nice showers, overall a great experience.
We booked this hotel for a few days before our cruise and I would definitely come back again. The service was great and it was in a great location that was within walking distance from everything. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

We really liked the atmosphere and the hotel’s design. We very like hotel room. The selection at the breakfast buffet was rather limited, and it didn’t change at all throughout the whole week.

Property was very clean and located in a good central area. Liked having a taxi stop right outside, which made it easy to explore the city.
Great location-across the street from the park, close to the beach, zoo and other areas. However, the room lack amenities (iron, ironing board, hand towels, water, coffee, lotion, etc.) that you would find in similar hotels. Breakfast, although plentiful, lack warm "protein" food.

A great place to stay in Barcelona, central with all the nice things to see on a half hour walk distance. The hotel is clean, people are friendly, the room space is Motel One worthy and don't forget to visit the roof bar which is a great experience before you leave back home.
Our second stay, will always use in Barcelona. Rooms nice - but small. Breakfast good. Well located.
Very outgoing, helpful and friendly staff. Rooms really clean and comfortable. Location was main reason for booking but can recommend highly. My only suggestion would be kettle in rooms and scrambled eggs for breakfast;)
We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK, although we missed some hot food options. The location was quiet and peaceful. The room was small but clean, and we could not hear any noise during the night, which made the stay very comfortable.
Hotel is good but it is the staff that turn this into a great place to stay. Very welcoming and friendly front desk that were happy to help with requests. So often you feel like a burden in hotels. Keep up this mentality which clearly comes from management as this bring people back and word of mouth. I would definitely recommend to friends and family traveling to the city.
It seems that the quality of the breakfast is not as good as it was several years ago vs the lobby furniture needs reupholstered.
Everything was very good, except the sunchairs on the balcony. They were too big to sit on.

My daughter and I had a lovely stay here. The hotel was very centrally located within walking distance to many attractions or a short bus/train ride away. There were very affordable and excellent eating places close by. Missing some nice to have amenities like washcloths, shampoo, shower cap, coffee maker/tea, but aside for that it was a great little hotel! Would have been nice to have latches for the door, but otherwise felt pretty safe. Wifi should have been password protected.

Hotel is nice, great location, clean & modern. Reception & bar areas are excellent, Rooms are very basic though.
The area for the breakfast was too small for the number of guests. We struggled to find a table. Also as BeOne members we received two bottles of water. The bottles require a bottle opener which the room doesn't have. I had to lend a bottle opener from the bar. Attach a bottle opener somewhere in the room to make it better for guests.
Maybe adding at least a water bottle to the room could be a nice welcoming idea. Also, I think breakfast could be improved. Why not a small warm buffet? :))
Great hotel
Really enjoyed my stay here for my friends birthday! Good location and lovely roof terrace. Staff were all very welcoming and friendly & it is only a 15-minute walk to the beach :)
Honestly the rooms were tiny and uncomfortable. The price was far too high for the product. No breakfast or coffee included for that price is unreasonable. The images misrepresented what the rooms were. It was impossible to be comfortable for more than 1 person. The staff were very nice, the room was very clean.
I made a mistake (entered wrong dates) when booking my reservation. When I showed up, I immediately told front desk, oh, I booked one extra day. I am sorry, can we fix that. The answer was no, so the hotel charged me for a night I did not even use, even after I advised them immediately of my mistake. Poor business practice. Rooms are tiny shoeboxes.
Fantastic stay, in a great location. Walkable to everything - I didn't get a metro once. Really recommend as a solo female traveller. I felt safe in the area, even when walking back at night. The room was lovely and clean and very comfy bed. Will stay again!
we have been several times in motel one - that's why we are coming back- 2 suggestions > inm one in barcellona in the room is missins a coffe machine and in our room ( 430 ) the mirrow ( aliseo ) in the bath room is fixed to the wall in an impossible hight ( extremely low ) for the guests. best from udine italy - sandro & helga

Your staff are excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, as at other Motel One hotels. But the rooms are comparatively small. And why do you start breakfast as late as 0700 when people need to get away or start the day early? I was rescued by one of your staff who kindly fetched me a 'doggy bag' at 0630. But he should not have had to.

The room was adequate for what we required. For us it was a place to stay while on a city break. Therefore it did the job. One criticism would be of the pillows on the bed, they were quite uncomfortable and gave both me and my partner neck ache. The bar was reasonably priced and service was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

At our Motel One Barcelona-Ciutadella, we combine typical Spanish architecture with locally manufactured designer furniture and the natural influences of the surrounding flora and fauna. The result is enough to make you forget you just came to stay the night! From the reception with its classic cement tiles to the comfy chairs by Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola and the carpets by the local company Nanimarquina, the hotel is full of inspiration from the nature of the nearby park. Our rooms are also full of comfort and life: at the head of the box-spring beds are designs by the young illustrator Lara Costafreda that play with the themes of plants, nature and the jungle.
