Our stay at Motel One Muenchen-Deutsches was great. Location was perfect, the rooms were clean and the service was good. The rooms are small but manageable for two people. Keep in mind you are living out of your suitcase. There are a few hangers for hanging clothes but no drawers for other items. If I had any suggestions it would be to have a small refrigerator in the room. It would be nice to have a refrigerator for drinks and snacks, also for restaurant leftovers. It is a nice motel, we will stay at this location again!
Half of the stay was in an overheated room without air conditioning. Had to fight with reception to get what we paid for and advertised on their home page. It ruined the whole experience.
Pre-checkin had no value, as that part of the reception was not staffed. Room and breakfast as expected. Parking was not optimal, as the charging spots were not reserved for EVs and were misused by regular cars
The first room, which was allocated - No. 144, looked out over the street and maintenance work, which was ongoing. Having had a rather poor night's sleep as a result of noise from some road traffic and refuse collection very early in the morning, I requested a change to a room with a view of the Innenhof. Reception staff were very accommodating and the second room - No. 110 - was much more satisfactory. Maintenance work on the S8 made our return journey to the airport somewhat problematic but the solutions offered by the reception staff were very helpful. My sincere thanks for their assistance.
Stammgäste 😃
The stay was perfect but will be sending a complain by email regarding the park garage. The painting work being done made the cars totally dirty and I find it not correct paint work and small construction work is done next to our car without notice
Great quiet neighborhood in an excellent location. And a lovely outdoor seating area!
Alles ok
Alles super!!!
Alles super
Great Location, really friendly ladies at reception, very cool Bar, super comfy beds.
we keep coming back... that speaks for itself
Very expensive for very small rooms & absolutely zero amenities. No AC in the room. One bath towel is not enough, the room should have two bath towels, one hand towel that it did have, and also it should have two small washcloths as well. No coffee in the room is absolutely substandard, that is the bare minimum in even the most very basic cheapest places everywhere. The bedspread cover is smaller than the bed itself, why? The TV did not pair with iPhone, only Android. Most people have iPhones. I would never stay here again because the value for the money was absolute terrible. Maybe if I had paid the 99 euro advertised price on the front of the building (which wasn’t EVER offered on the website ANYWHERE) instead of the 160 plus euro that I paid, then I would feel differently.
The room was super hot, the air conditioning was switched off and it seemed like the thermostat wasn't doing anything. I personally would like to have body lotion provided in the bathroom.
The advertising for the motel one club on the breakfast table is annoying, other than that the best vegan hotel breakfast i've had so fast – love it
Guter Motel One Standard, ruhige Lage
Toilett stinks, quality of pillows and bed not good, breakfast disappointing Over all efficient for you, not for the customer
Clean room, comfortable bed, nice bar
Everything was very good. Especially I liked the peaceful location of the hotel near canal and Isar river. Connections to the city center were excellent. Breakfast was delicious and staff really nice and friendly. The room was a bit small but still ok for 2 persons.
I have checked-in online but we had to wait for more than 15 min for the key. There was no automatic key pickup station available however it recommended in the email : "Um Zeit zu sparen, können Sie Ihre Zimmerkarte direkt an unserer ausgewiesenen Pickup Station im Hotel abholen". Maybe it was just out of order. Anyway , probably I would not mention it if there were no hint in the mail. Everything else was very very good.
clean, good price overall. Employees at Reception kindly and efficient.
Great staff! Great Location!
It was OK, but phone are missing in thr room, we cant comunicate with the reception. The breakfast OK but cooked are missing
All of the staff were very friendly. The room was nicely designed, clean, comfortable.
Great breakfast room was a bit small but very comfortable
Once again a very relaxing and pleasant stay at the hotel. Love the vibe and a big compliment to all the staff members for being both so very professional and approachable.
Everything was excellent but would be nice to have kettle or coffee machine in the room or way to make coffee/ tea freely. For the price of the room.
All very good
I was there for two days. Everything was fine and stuff was friendly, but there was no room cleaning until I asked at reception, which is a shame. The breakfast is ok, rather too expensive for the price. It would be great if there were at least scrambled eggs.
I was disturbed repeatedly by Frau Binter. I reached out to the assistant manager and he never got back to me. I will update this review if I hear back and there’s a satisfactory resolution. I don’t like writing negative reviews. It’s deserved. I have stayed at this hotel now for six weeks, spending almost €6000. To be treated so dismissively and rudely is unacceptable.
This is one of my favorite hotels in the Motel One chain due to its quiet location, proximity to public transport and generous public spaces. The buffet breakfast selections are also a plus.
Prima
Alles war gut.
It was all good as i know from Motel 1. The only point was that the room was very hot and the temperature cooling did not seem to work. That influenced our sleep quality what is the most important part of our hotel stay.
Pleasant stay. Room was clean, well maintained. Lobby water was a nice touch.
Alles prima.
I have stayed with a lot of pleasure almost every year in December in the M-One at the Deutsche Museum. It's a great Hotel, the desk is very helpful and friendly. The Hotel is very clean. I have one recommendation, please set the TV channels so up that only the channels that you can see are behind each other, now you have to step through almost 50 channels to see only 20 of them. Please add also the Bayern TV channels and Muenchen-TV. to it. Thanks in advance.
not enough service at breakfast, completely overbooked
Once again, I had a wonderful stay. The hotel was especially beautifully decorated for Christmas, and the staff was as always super friendly. I had a great conversation with Vesna in the morning, as usual.
Alles super
Modest and functional
In my opinion quite basic. The room is very small but adecuate. The bed is comfortable, its quiet, the breakfast is ok, the staff is nice.. There is no luxury, nothing to make it really nice, but nice enough and fair for the price.
I loved your hotel, from the design and the cleanliness, to the amazing kindness and professionalism of your staff. They are all to be congratulated, they provide great customer service and are helpful, friendly and very efficient. Everyone makes you feel that you’re a special client and that is very rare nowadays. I’m looking forward to booking more often at your hotels.
Overall, my experience at the hotel was satisfactory, but it got off to a rough start. Upon check-in, I was assigned a room that had not been cleaned by a quite unpolite man (dont remember the name). The bed and sheets were dirty, there were food remnants on the table and floor, and the bathroom was particularly unclean and wet. Used, wet, and dirty towels were left on the floor of the room, making the initial impression quite unpleasant. A different member of the staff (Jenni) quickly resolved the issue by assigning me a new, clean room. She also offered me two complimentary cocktails at the bar as compensation. While the situation was handled well, I hope the hotel improves its cleaning protocols to avoid similar incidents for future guests.
Great hotel stay again with you. Clean and accessible hotel. Breakfast was amazing. Reception was mostly good. The person checking us in was a little rude and did make an unhelpful comment but this was a minor issue.
Alles prima :-)
Alles Prima

Excellent experience (as mostly in Motel Ones), I like that the rooms have been refreshed. Will come back. Highly recommended
I was a solo traveler and had a pleasant stay of 6 days at the end of November. Staff were all friendly and helpful to my needs. Room was clean and quiet. Hotel decor is top notch. Really couldn’t ask for more! Thanks for the accommodation.
