This was my second stay at this hotel. For me, the location is perfect. It is very near museums, the University of Leipzig, walkable downtown and historic sites. The bed is to my liking, the breakfast is great, it is quiet, and the staff is responsive.

I have been here several times. I truly admire both the concept and the delivery of this hotel. What appeals to me most was the idea that I pay exactly for what I need — nothing more, nothing less. This thoughtful approach made me feel respected as a guest. Everything that was provided — from the facilities to the services — was delivered with outstanding quality and generosity. For me, the combination of Leipzig, Bach, and this hotel created a perfect experience. I am just waiting for my next visit.

The stay reflect the expectation set before. One suggestion is to add a suitcase holder in the rooms. Is quite unconfortable to keep on the pavement the suitcase or worse on the couch or bed.

The room had all what was needed. Unfortunetly my room was out to the main street which was pretty loud in the mornng from 5am. Breakfast was very good.

Lifts constantly broken and awaiting technician visit. Shower water temperature changes to occasionally dangerously hot.
The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, the lobby and bar are wonderful! I will stay again

Hotel room was enough large and nice bed. I prefer strong shower pressure so I felt it was a little weak. Breakfast is pretty nice.

reception, staff and room was great - no comments! What we were a bit surprised about is the price of the breakfast vs. the amount of food available. For 16,50 per person, we would've expected more quality, especially when comparing price and availability to other motel ones.
I stayed at MOTEL ONE LEIPZIG-AUGUSTUSPLATZ from october 28th to November 2. My reservation was originally until November 3. I tried to contact Booking.com several times to change it, as I was told that Booking had to contact the hotel. I only got the confirmation the cancellation on November 4 and I had already left. Up to now, unfortunately, I have not received the refund for the last night that was cancelled. It is sadly disappointing,

Rooms are adequate, compact but not too small. Everything is cleaned up properly. Staff is friendly. Breakfast could be a little bit more creative, the choice of cheese and sausages is adequate ind over all the breakfast offered is not worth the price you pay for.
Excellent soundproofing. My room was opposite the elevator but I did not hear a single bell nor voices when the door was shut. Also no noises from neighbours or above room. There was some heavy drumming on the main street (my room looked towards Nikolaikirche) and that was only barely audible. On the other hand, the curtains did not completely block light, which may be a problem if you are sensitive to that.
Very clean. Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional.
Overall, the stay (for 2 nights) was good. Only criticism is regarding the towels, which had hair from from previous users.
167eur for one night in a MotelOne in Leipzig for a very small room with mold in the bathroom and an old carpet floor is just simply rediculous.
I had a great stay. I really appreciated the vegan options at breakfast! I wish the TV didn't automatically turn on everytime I put my card in though.
Everything was perfect. Everyone was very professional and super nice. Even early check-in was no problem. Will come back any day I am in Leipzig again. Thank you!

Perfect location, stylish, comfortable, room with a beautiful view over the church. Very friendly staff including the lovely bar staff and reception staff. Huge selection at breakfast, again in a room with lovely views and great atmosphere. Really well designed and comfortable. (The receptionist when I came to collect my luggage later was only only member of staff who was not friendly though)

I often stay at Motel One if there is one available, and I never get disappointed, also this time not. Rooms are usually almost identical in all Motel One hotels, but this one had larger windows than usual (in my case with a view to the famous Nicolaikirche). The sound proofing was perfect, I was next to the elevator but heard nothing from it. Reception was very friendly and helpful and the location is really good. I was very satisfied with my stay and will stay with this chain again.

This hotel operates with an ingenious concept that suits me perfectly: you get exactly what you need (no unnecessary services) and all you get is at the highest level: the location, the attitude, the aesthetics, the room, the natural ventilation and the air conditioning, the quietness (thanks to comfortable heavy-duty windows and doors), efficient elevators. Everything is working properly - no creaks, no cracks, no leaks... The result: Maximum value for money. Certainly, my home hotel in Leipzig.
Excellent in every respect! Clean room, good service, good breakfast, helpful reception. A small refrigerator and a small safe for valuables would be nice additions.
