Wish i could give less Points. Was biten all over my Body, dont know what it was. Bed Bugs or so. Thought it was just me, but other teammates had the same issue.
Superb location ….the bathroom door needs to be changed …. Very awkward if traveling with a friend. Please also consider a kettle and cups for the room …
The receiption Team were wonderful from the 21.05. till the checkout. The employee at the breakfast were filled it so much smile as early as 07:00am ( Amazing Front Office team ). Kudos to you all, defininately a place i can always lay my head whenever i am in copenhagen. Thanks to you all Not to forget: It is also a Child friendly environment with the different kind of educational games.
Small bed(s), good breakfast, but low number of lactose or gluten free options
great location, nice staff, rooms not very spacious and a little bit smelly
Overall great value for money. The hotel was very clean and breakfast was great. Our only issue was the day we arrived we didn’t find Dan at the front desk that nice or helpful. We had gotten in very early that morning and had requested at the time of booking an early check in. When we arrived we had again asked if something could be done to get an earlier check in but Dan didn’t seem to care or even try to help us out with this request. We understand it may not be possible but at least try to figure something out for us. By that point we had gotten off a long flight and had been up for 24 hours so when Dan brushed us off and told us to go explore the city when it was 8am and check in was at 3pm that wasn’t helpful at all.
The location was excellent, in the city centre, the beds were so comfortable, but what I would like to emphasise is the kindness of people working there. They absolutely went above and beyond! Everyone were amazing, but I really have to specially mention Mr. Issam and Miss Minela. A light bulb broke down in my room (I didn't know that at the time), it was a loud noise and I got scared, went to the reception, Mr.Issam imediatelly came to check everything in my room (it was almost midnight), he saw I was upset and offered to change my room to make me feel more comfortable. In the comotion of changing rooms I lost my phone, and he went around the hotel with me until we found it! Thank you once more Issam! Miss Minela was so helpful for anything we needed, at one point we could not reach our transportation that was supposed to drive us to the airport, she litarally gave us her phone to call an international number even though I know it was expensive, she had no doubts. Things and gestures like this really make a huge difference, I had a sense that everyone really cared to make our stay feel special. I travel around Europe a lot and must say that this hotel was really special and really stands out!
I like the furniture, the design, the breakfast and the location. It's a very good value for money! Also, that i can screenshare to the TV.
Clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast and great location, all together made for an excellent stay. Staff were very courteous and helpful.
Overall good experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, I could clearly hear noises from an adjacent room, like a vibrating alarm, snoring, a chair moving. I would expect much better sound proofing. Eggs too salty at breakfast.
best location. fancy design, clean room.
300,- €/night are too much for services offered
Great stay. Perfect location. Easy and friendly atmosphere.Professional and kind staff. Excellent breakfast. On a negative note the room is too small.
Clean comfy hotel in a great location
I have absolutely no complaints, and I have to praise the really friendly staff!
Facility is pretty well. Employees are friendly and warm. Breakfast is perfect.
Stayed one night in this nice well located hotel. Everything was fine but the bathroom needs a better cleaning, both the toilet and the walls around the sink were dirty
The Motel is very good: good rooms and good service. A downside during my stay I found the loud music until 22:00 in the courtyard, which is clearly audible in the room. And at 5:30 someone was moving metal parts in the courtyard. That woke me up. Too bad this noise pollution. Because it is a fine hotel.
The room was clean and airy, beautifuly designed, though small. Breakfast was rich and generous. Hotel staff were lovely.
Excellent location for exploring Copenhagen. Friendly staff, very clean and lovely bar area. The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom. The door refused to stay closed and the wall was the frosted glass of the shower cubicle - sometimes you just want a bit privacy!
Sadly, the only time I let the cleaning person in my room 202 , my medical face wash was taken from the shower stand and the staff were NOT helpful at all with the situation. I asked to speak with a manager and they didn't care. I have sever skin issues and I have to wash my face with that specific product 2 times a day, From Friday the 16th night all the way until I got home on Monday I was not able to care for my skin, and therefore I am on antibiotics now to heal my skin. it was a full bottle of Proactive approximately 30 Canadian Dollars. It is not a big amount, but the side effects of not having it, is more negative. It is a bad feeling knowing that a customer cant trust the staff with their privacy and belonging. I am extremely disappointed and sad. Sigh :(
One of the best Motel One units I've stayed in. Wonderful breakfast, very attentive and kind staff and excellent room! Location is also extraordinary.
Just fantastic people, from front of house to cleaning team. Restaurant staff kept a very clean and efficient dining area and ALL staff were very helpful and polite.
I had a wonderful two-night stay at Motel One in Copenhagen, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The hotel itself was perfect located, clean and very comfortable, providing a perfect base for exploring the city. What truly stood out to me was the exceptional service from the reception staff. They were incredibly attentive and customer-oriented, always ready to assist with a warm smile and helpful advice. Their professionalism and genuine friendliness made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Motel One Copenhagen for anyone looking for a welcoming and well-maintained hotel in the heart of the city. I look forward to returning!
We had the most memorable and enjoyable stay here, from start to finish! The staff were incredible and so kind and attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay as special as possible. The room was super and the bed was the most comfortable in the whole world and the breakfast was divine!! If you happen to be getting married in City Hall....this is the place to stay. Thank you to everyone at Motel One Copenhagen!!
Room was good, clean but a bit basic. No way of controlling the temperature so opened the window but the church bell ringing on the hour is disturbing. Shower layout is very bad, water goes out everywhere making the whole bathroom wet, and the door doesn't open properly with everything else laid out the way it is.
Smelled wierd in room, dont understand why everything I got was in german?
The hotel is showing its age and is in need of renovation. The bathroom, in particular, no longer meets the standards of other Motel One hotels. Therefore, the Nordic price is unreasonable against other locations. I also found the breakfast overpriced. WLAN is to slow and no TV channels are available, only App's!
We paid 400€ per night, the room was nice however it would have been nice to have some water or glasses and something to put the tab water in as it was apparently drinkable but no one told us. Also a cattle and tea/coffee facilities would have been good.
Grossly overpriced. Limited breakfast and crazy bar prices. Friendly staff.
We went with another couple and got a much smaller room. We think this might be because we booked through Booking.com. That was a shame. Also no water or tea / coffee making facilities. Location is very good
very nice stay in Kopenhagen!!!
Need to put phones in the room to provide wake-up calls. Fortunately, the staff knocked on my door to wake me up. They went above and beyond their duties. Also a small refrigerator in the room would be nice. Love the location of the property.and the property is clean, friendly staff and great for business travelers or just for a holiday.
Location was terrific. Downside was we had no tea/coffee/fridge facilities in the room.
The bed was so comfy it felt like I was sleeping on a cloid
Top Service
Before checking in, I was curious how a place that calls itself a "motel" (the streets of inner Copenhagen are not particularly car friendly) would deliver. I was very, very happy with my stay. Super comfortable beds (stayed in two different rooms), exceedingly helpful and attentive staff. Spacious rooms and a wi-fi connection that remained uninterrupted throug a hour a 6-hour long online meeting. For future stays in Copenhagen, I have reason to look for other sites. Will be back.
Way to expensive fir what you get!
Friendly staff, great hotel, extremely comfortable beds we had the best nights sleep. We would recommend requesting a room at the back of the hotel to reduce noise. Hotel ideally located for travelling around Copenhagen. We would definitely recommend and be staying there when we return to Copenhagen.
Everything good except when we arrived to the room it was smelling quite strong to cigarette, and there was a leak in the bathroom which we informed the front desk on our exit.
Thank you to people at the bar, reception and breakfast !
The location is perfect, the rooms are small but well designed. The cleaning was good. We had breakfast at the hotel one day but there could be more options for that money, such as fried eggs, smoked salmon. I didn't like the smell of the cheese at all.
Staff is helpful and professional. Room was quiet and well decorated.
Nice and friendly Team
The best thing is the location. I could walk to everything I wanted to visit. The staff is lovely too. My single room was very small with no space for a chair. I liked being able to open the window. For $200 plus per night, I think the hotel could offer more/better towels, a real glass instead of a paper cup, and a better draining sink. Internet was spotty and I had to re-establish tv connection every time I turned it on.
Great staff and a beautiful room made our stay wonderful. The location was perfect and made visiting everywhere we wanted to go significantly easier.
My room was small, but it was probably exactly what I selected. Staff, room cleanliness, breakfast, location, comfort were all very good.
Everything was great (especially the staff everyone was willing to help and very friendly), the breakfast was very tasty and everything was freshly made. Also we really liked the aesthetic and decoration. The cleaning services could be enhanced especially in the bathroom (the sink and the mirror were not cleaned on a daily basis).
The hotel is well located and has good facilities. The room should have a television with free access to Danish and other countries' channels. Breakfast should have more variety.
The people nice and the location perfect!

Your hotel in Copenhagen
Our affordable design hotel in Copenhagen is located right in the centre of the Danish capital, opposite the city hall and the Rådhuspladsen. From here, you can easily reach all of Copenhagen’s top sights – and there are plenty of them to explore. After all, the capital is one of the most important cities in northern Europe and a popular destination for city breaks, not least because it offers one of the best qualities of life in the world.
What does Copenhagen have to offer?
Top of the list of highlights is the city’s iconic landmark, The Little Mermaid. The statue of the character from Hans Christian Anderson’s fairytale awaits you on the Langelinie waterside promenade, around 30 minutes from our hotel. You’ll also find Copenhagen’s citadel here, a star-shaped 17th century fortress open to the public. And did you spot Charlottenborg Palace and the Old Stock Exchange on the walk over? You’ll also have passed Christiansborg Palace, the seat of the Danish parliament. It’s conveniently located by Copenhagen’s gastronomic hub, Nyhavn, or ‘new harbour’. There’s something to suit everyone’s tastes in the streets of this area, with their brightly coloured gabled houses dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. But Copenhagen’s lively history as a port and trading city – and the resulting architecture – is far from the only reason to visit. By the harbour, you’ll find the Royal Danish Theatre and Royal Danish Library, also known as the ‘Black Diamond’. Here, it’s not just what’s on the inside that counts: these notable examples of modern architecture are worth a stop on any city tour. And if they’ve inspired you to seek out more Nordic design, the Design Museum Denmark displays objects from the workshops of Danish designers such as Arne Jacobsen and Poul Henningsen.
Just a short walk from our hotel lies Freetown Christiania, an autonomous area that offers a very different perspective on Copenhagen – including from an architectural point of view. The alternative housing development in the district of Christianshavn has been self-governed since its creation in the 1970s and is a symbol of Denmark’s progressive culture. Our hotel in Copenhagen is also a perfect starting point for leisure activities: Tivoli, the world’s oldest amusement park, lies directly opposite. Or is Copenhagen just the first step on your Nordic discovery tour? Perfect: our affordable design hotel is located just north of the Øresund Bridge, which links Copenhagen with its neighbour Sweden.
