Within three days of stay no fresh linen at all, no fresh towels - I had to call to get fresh towels on the third day
Uitstekende service aan de balie. Prettige kamer en een goed ontbijt.
Long wait at check-in, no room service (even though I hadn't canceled it). The hotel comes across as stingy: only welcome water". An alternative welcome coffee would have been better.
As discussed with the manager, the television shows the option for CNN and other English-language and international channels but then they do not actually work. I understand this will be addressed for 2026, so that might give me more comfort in staying at the property again then. (This was my third stay at the property and I was told last time that this would have been fixed by now. It had not.) Overall, the staff is fantastic, the place is clean, and the location is perfect. The only other things I'd really rather see are proper full-sized duvets (not the tiny Scandinavian-style ones that don't cover a person while sleeping), full-sized mattresses (not the two small ones pushed together with the big dip in-between them), and shower glass that extends further out so no water goes on the floor during a shower.
Overall - ok. But: Breakfast: lack of vegetables types and quantity. Bath room : paper caps instead of glass. Room: no tea / coffee, bo safe, and no refreg
Goede schone kamers met goede bedden. Vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel. Goede ligging. Juiste prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.

really like Motel One, but as someone who eats gluten free the breakfast has too few options... the deal breaker and why I won't book here in the future is that the gluten free bread comes wrapped in plastic. Apparently the bread is heated in plastic, which is the first no-go, the second no-go is that the plastic sticks to the heated bread.
Very good stay, although room was very hot even with leaving window open.
The bad smell in the bathroom. No possibility to have some boiling water in the room to have a tea before going to sleep.
Gezellig hotel in het centrum van Wenen
Since the motel in Wien Donau-City was not open yet, my reservation was moved to another hotel near the central station. The stay overall was good, but on the day of check-out I was disturbed by the cleanup crew around +/- 9:00 AM

Overall mostly positive experience. The hotel is incredibly busy and the front desk is not always staffed to handle the crowd. Our first room was wildly hot inside for October, thankfully the desk staff was willing to move us to another room. We also had issues with key cards twice, which was resolved quickly but an inconvenience nonetheless.
The location was convenient, the breakfast was tasty, the coffee was great, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The only downside was the check-in experience. The lady at the front desk, I believe her name was Ramira didn’t make me feel welcomed. It felt as though my presence was more of a bother than anything else. There was no friendly greeting like “Welcome to our hotel,” nor any helpful information about the stay, such as breakfast times or other amenities. That said, all the other staff were great. Friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay Despite that, the hotel itself is lovely, and I wish them many happy guests in the future.
It is an wonderful stay at the hotel,Direct at the Main station and a nice view .Nice rooms and the Bed was comfortable.
As I have come to expect, our stay was marvelous. Our room 15-10 was immaculate and made so again after our first of two nights. We had drinks downstairs, served by two of the charming bartenders I’ve come to know. The desk staff were also charming , efficient, and helpful. Like I say again and again, for me this is the only hotel to stay at when I come to Vienna.
Well situated and quiet. Rooms are well-organised, although a bottle of water a day should be standard. Also a phone connecting to the reception is a must, in case of emergency.
Overall it was a great experience and the breakfast was delicious. I would have liked to have a little more variety of dairy-free products and the opportunity to adjust the level of air conditioning for it was really too hot even though I turned the room air conditioning off. Thank you!

I always try and stay in a Motel One as you know what you're getting. This was pretty much what you usually get. However there were no net curtains up in here and the room I was in (333) faced out onto a play area and flats, so you had to be 'decent' when opening the curtains in the morning. It got a bit warm in the room but there wasn't any air con, so you have to open the window. I had a double bed but a single duvet which was a bit strange. I know I was on my own but I'd paid for a double room so should've had a double duvet on my double bed. On my 2nd morning I'd got the sign on my door saying not to disturb me, yet I had someone knock on the door to wake me up and before I could answer, they'd let themselves into my room. What's the point in having these signs hanging on your door if they're going to be ignored? The hotel itself is really nice and the location is right across the road from the train station which was perfect for me.
Our stay at MotelOne Wien HBF was excellent. The location right across from the train station made it so easy to get around Vienna and when it came time to head out. As usual when we have stayed with this brand, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the common areas are functional and the staff are friendly, professional and helpful.

I am very happy with my stay at Motel One. The only problem I had was that my room was quite cold — even colder than the corridors. I asked for help at the reception, and they advised me to turn off the air conditioning, but it still didn’t make the room warm enough, I’m afraid.
I've been hosted for six days and I found the hotel and all the staff wonderful! The localization is really strategic, the breakfast was excellent, and the hotel was clean and cozy.
Great location for us travelling by train. Very nice and clean, comfortable bed, and we loved the bar!
Not sure why the room was set up with 3 beds as it was requested single. The breakfast did not have warm options, which was disappointing.
Lots to like. Nicely appointed room with simple but functional inclusions. Very clean and a comfortable bed. Nice lounge area conducive to a drink or a coffee rather than being alone in your room. Breakfast good value. I gave a lower score for the room because there was no stand for a suitcase, although there was plenty of room for one and 2 out of the 4 lamps did not work.
Amazing view and the bar is very good, enjoyed staying at your Motel One a lot.

Hotel is in good location to reach easily each corner of Wien city. The room was perfect and well cleaned. The service at the bar could be improved, with more attention to the guests. The only negative aspect is the breakfast area, it has been complicated to find a seat the first day.
Really bad experience. Someone (maybe the cleaner) steal 2 rings and 1 power bank from my room. I notified it at reception and when we came back from dinner the rings and power bank reappear in my room.
The stay was great as always, I enjoyed the friendly service and breakfast. Unfortunately the property has again not followed my request for a specific side of the room (away from the train station). I followed the recommendation and added if to the notes to the hotel. I understand this is not always possible, but then a feedback that the wish could not be considered would be nice. The way it currently is I have to hope the hotel is not fully booked (where the staff is always helpful with changing the room) or have a room that is less good for my sleep

Het is onbegrijpelijk dat er op de kamers geen plaats voorzien is voor een reiskoffer.
Al meerdere keren in een Motel One verbleven en altijd een zeer prettige ervaring. Kamers hebben alles wat je nodig hebt, zijn schoon en ook een prima werkende airco. En dat was heel fijn tijdens de hittegolf. Ontbijt uitgebreid en alles voldoende. Door de grote aanloop van gasten is er te weinig tijd genomen om de broodjes goed af te bakken, die waren net goed genoeg gebakken. Verder heel goed!
Ontbijt is helaas onder de maat, zeker wat betreft de prijsstelling. Kwaliteit kan in deze echt beter.
Personeel is vriendelijk, deskundig en voorkomend. De kamers zijn mooi ingericht en comfortabel. De badkamer is een beetje krap, maar wel praktisch. Het ontbijt is zeer goed, zowel de keuze als de kwaliteit.

Dit hotel is handig als je vroeg met de trein mee moet. Verder is de omgeving niet zo aantrekkelijk. Voor een bezoek aan Wenen zou ik een andere vestiging van motel one kiezen. De bar is ook minder gezellig dan dat we gewend zijn.het is er te donker en het meibilair niet comfortabel.
Heerlijk hotel, top personeel. Kamers, klein maar fijn. Alles mooi en schoon voorhanden.
Prima hotel op een perfecte locatie, maar Motel One heeft echt een probleem met de klimaatbeheersing. De klimaatbeheersing blies alleen (zeer) warme lucht, waardoor het veel te warm werd in de kamer. Desgevraagd gaf de receptioniste aan dat dit de bedoeling is en dat ik het raam moest openen om de temperatuur te laten dalen. Waarom het bij een buitentemperatuur van rond het vriespunt niet mogelijk is de binnentemperatuur met behulp van het ventilatiesysteem te reguleren tussen 18 en 22 graden, blijft raadselachtig. Mijn nachtrust was hierdoor slecht. Ofwel het is (bij gesloten raam en ingeschakelde ventilatie) veel te warm, ofwel het is (bij geopend raam) te lawaaiig, ofwel er ontstaat (bij gesloten raam en uitgeschakelde ventilatie) een tekort aan zuurstof. Ook de mobiele ontvangst in mijn kamer was onvoldoende.
Locatie prima. Check in medewerker erg onvriendelijk. Gaf sleutel en dat was het, zei verder niets. Ontbijt prima. Aardig personeel bij ontbijt. Check out ook goed, dames vriendelijk en bagage opslag geen probleem. Kamer warm en minimalistisch ongezellig ingericht met IKEA stijl kast. Voor 1 nacht voorafgaand aan treinreis prima maar geen hotel om langer te blijven. Obers in bar in de avond ook nogal afstandelijk.

Twee opmerkingen. 1: biologisch fruit in de ochtend zou fijn zijn. 2: bij de douche een handvat om niet uit te glijden.
Wat met name fijn is dat de hotelkamers stil zijn. Je hebt geen 'last'van geluid in het hotel van andere gasten.
Goed, maar toilet deur met deurdranger niet handig. Scharnieren hebben olie nodig want de deur piepte ontzettend. Misschien snelkoker op de kamer zodat men zelf kopje thee kan zetten?
Goed gelegen hotel, prima kamers. Goed geïsoleerd, hoort niets. Paar minpunten: de voucher voor 1 gratis ontbijt kon ik niet gebruiken, dus ergens anders ontbeten. Verder is de temperatuur van de kamer lastig te verlagen met airco. Eerste nacht was het erg benauwd in de kamer. Zelfde probleem had ik in het hotel in Berlijn. Zou dit hotel daarom niet in zomer boeken.
Het hotel had niet door dat ik al betaald had en verzekerde mij dat ik nog moest betalen voor de kamer. Toen ik erachter kwam dat ik te veel betaald had, heb ik via diverse gesprekken en mail dit geprobeerd duidelijk te maken. Het te veel overgemaakte bedrag heb ik helaas nog niet ontvangen. Fouten maken kan, maar de slechte communicatie hierover en lakse afhandeling ervan vind ik schandalig
Supergoed geholpen met het overplaatsen van de ene locatie naar de andere. Top dat dit allemaal mogelijk is.

Aan het Centraal Station, met uitzicht over de stad
Zodra u ons Motel One Wenen Hauptbahnhof binnenkomt, hebt u aan de receptie een prachtig panorama over de stad. Vanaf de bovenste verdiepingen hebt u zelf een live panorama over de hoofdstad van Oostenrijk. Ook in de One Lounge verwijzen wij op creatieve wijze naar lokale thema's. Tijdens het ontbijt wordt u ondergedompeld in de wereld van 1854, toen de Semmeringbahn werd geopend. De bar is versierd met decoraties in de stijl van de artistieke beweging Wiener Werkstätte en ook onze designhighlights van Moroso, Baxter en Jan Kath verwijzen naar deze beweging.
Een absolute eyecatcher is de afbeelding van het nabijgelegen slot Belvedere die over meerdere verdiepingen loopt. Dit kasteel ligt overigens op wandelafstand en heeft een prachtige tuin om lekker in te wandelen en een indruk op te doen van het kasteeldomein. Andere bezienswaardigheden in het centrum zoals het staatsoperagebouw, het Museumsquartier en de Stephansdom zijn eveneens goed bereikbaar vanaf het hotel.
