Alles tiptop
The room was quiet and clean, it had everything I needed for my long weekend stay. The breakfast was also very good and adequate and the staff was very helpful.
The staff at Motel One Staatsoper were fantastic. Claudia and Rayan at reception were extremely helpful. I highly commend them ! I loved my room. Breakfast was good.
I think only missing is there is no coffee or tea machines in the rooms and also you can put glasses in the room not a cartoon. The rest seems perfect.
Really enjoyed the style and service. Breakfast good. The only things that could be improved is to have drinking glasses in the rooms and a facility to iron clothes somewhere in the building.
Looking a little tired now. Could do with small revamp. I really disliked the pillows on the bed( too hard for me personally which gave me a bad back)
Beautiful hotel with great architecture. The rooms are compact and lack facilities like tea and coffee unlike other Motel Ones I have stayed at for a quite expensive price tag. Make sure you remember to put out do not disturb sign, otherwise cleaners coming in at 9am.
Really disappointed with my first stay at motel one
As always, our stay at your hotel was a pleasure thanks to the kind help we received from the staff at the reception desk. They helped us change to a room with a large wardrobe which we needed as we had a lot of clothing. They also found and returned to me an electric razor charger that I had accidently left in our original room. We look forward to staying there again on our next visit to Wien.
Overall the hotel is truly great… apart from the beds. I stayed in room 448 and as the bed was so soft (i went to the reception at approximately 1:20 in the morning to get an extra sheet so that I could sleep on the floor. The receptionist was great as he handed me a duvet cover as more comfortable. I slept on the floor but 1 hour of sleeping in the bed caused my slipped-disc injury to return. I have been in terrible pain and discomforts since then. I hope you will be compensating me. Thank you
The room needs to be repainted; there are a lot of dirt marks
I have been at your hotel before - years ago - coming back now for a short stay your hotel was my first choice
Alles gut.
I was traveling solo and attending an event at the Musikverein. My trip was short so I wanted to be close to the center of town and have easy access to public transportation. I didn't need a huge room but the room for one traveler was very nice. I loved this hotel and would stay in another Motel One if I ever have the chance. The color scheme are my colors and I felt very happy to be there. The bar with it's 40+ gin collection was a lot of fun and the bartender, Sandra, was very knowledgable and friendly.
I always choose to stay here when I am in Vienna, it is in a fantastic location & the price is reasonable.
Everything is there, a very clean and tidy place for a stay. I like the unique style of this Motel apart from its vicinity to the Opera House, Kärntnerstraße, Stefansdom, , Albertina, Albertina Modern and the Concert Hall Musikverein.
Alles top
The Mattresses in room M054 are either very soft. They feel hollowed out and old!
Service was perfect, room very smal but ok, bed was horrable.
Only one relatively small breakfast desk is not enough for so many guests. Paper cups are not worthy of the hotel. Glass cups should be provided in the rooms. Instead of a wardrobe, there's just a coat rack, but why is it right in front of the mirror? Cleaning meant only emptying the trash can.
We enjoyed the hotel, friendly service, room adequate, central location, good parking arrangement. Even the Motel One style room was OK. We didn't have to jump over our suitcases😅Only minus, your breakfasts. There is no worse way to start the day then take breakfast at Motel One. Not so much for quality then the amount of people swarming around. Fortunately Cafe Museum is around the corner.
Nice hotel in a great location. Beds are comfi and hotel bar with a good vibe. I did line check in up front. While booking and on line check in was easy. We still had to wait at least 10 mins before getting the keys. This can be improved. Other then that highly recommended
having been at your hotel in Vienna (opera) many times it is always a pleasure to be back ... i'll start to consider motel one also in other cities around Europe where i go for my business trips
The room was extremely cold.
All was well. May consider putting a water kettle in each room to boil tea.
Super!!!
A very good hotel that I have stayed in several times because of its proximity to the Staatsoper.
Tip top
Beautiful hotel in a historic building, nicely decorated. I stayed for just one night. Amazing, organic breakfast, with high quality products, served in the beautiful area on the ground floor. What I didn't like is that my single-use room was really small, I would prefer a double or twin bed. In addition, the heating was turned-off for the summer some days before, but I felt really cold. However, the staff was really helpful and kind, I really appreciate this.
The room was way too small for 180 EUR per night. We could barely move around.
Very good experience just for the third time in a Motel one there is a lot of noise from the road and could not sleep the first night, same i zurich and madrid. perfect locations but noise is a great issue
Lokalizacja na city break świetna, sniadanie b.dobre i każdy znajdzie cos dla siebie. Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa. do zobaczenia.
location is perfect for shopping, opera and museums. Rooms are small but quiet in the inside rooms. Check in is horrible! Always a line up, waiting up to 1 hour to get the room after 3pm check in. Had to keep asking if our room was ready. This needs to improve a lot to get top marks. €18 continental Breakfast is a bit steep too.
All was good except my request to have a room not far from the lift due to mobility was ignored and couldn’t be farther from it!
Excellent staff and location, very quiet and comfy room. Lounge and bar were equally nice.
I had a wonderful stay at your hotel. I arrived very late at night and received a room that I didn’t like, but when asked to move, the very courteous lady moved me to the a beautiful room, in which I had a wonderful time.
Thank you for everything. In your hotel we are as at home. Margarita room no.385
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The only downside was very crowded and relatively limited breakfast and weak soundproofing between our room and hallway (room 133).
A very good hotel, well located and slept well. The room was a bit too small however and there was nowhere to put clothing. We were there for close to a week and with no closet or dresser of any description it was a bit of a challenge.
Great hotel in the center of Vienna with excellent cost/performance ratio
The room was very fresh, clean, and simply but beautifully decorated.
My 1st comment is regarding Hotel's response to my email. I left my phone adaptor in the room 252, when i checked out on 22.04.25. I asked to keep it for me to be collected by my relative. But, no answer from hotel. I was not sure that the given room was 16 sqm, as i was booked and paid. Receptionist said room 252 is 17 sqm, which didn't look like. Heating / cooling system in the room wasn't working properly. I had to keep window open and it was noisy at night. Breakfast was poor compared to other Motel one's in different cities.
Perfect location, nice staff, room was very cozy. I would definitely recommend and stay there again
The bed was not as comfortable as in earlier stays. The mattress was sagging on the side of the bed facing the bathroom. But the room was nice and clean, and breakfast was excellent.
I spent six nights at the hotel and enjoyed my stay. I’d like to thank manager Denisa Zolotic for saving a comfortable room for a weary traveler. Due to limited international cellular service, dinner reservations were difficult to make at restaurants. I suggest that the hotel be able to make reservations for its guests.
The staff were very efficient and friendly. The hotel is very popular among German speakers but as an English speaker, I did not feel out of place as the staff were very accomodating. The room was tastefully decorated and adequate for a nice stay in central Vienna. The room was very quiet when the windows are shut. The location is superb. A small coffee machine/small bar fridge in the room would've been very much appreciated. Overall, I was very happy with Motel One Vienna and will try again for future visits to the city.
beds were VERY hard - like sleeping on a rock. shower was nice and i liked the shampoo. The room could have used more lighting - it was very dark. In general the room and bathroom were VERY small. There was no counter space and no place for my luggage.
My main issue was that there was no small fridge to store cold water
Always attentive staff trying to help the guest. Amazing location. Great room.
Wszystko na najwyższym poziomie!
