Fast check in, great location and thank you to the gentleman that gave us complimentary check out until 13:00 :)
Great location, lovely rooms, great staff.
Excellent location and the hotel staff were very friendly
Great place to stay for a night out. Staff great . Bar great
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The location is central, only a few minutes walk to the shops. We would definitely stay again
Disappointed After Years of Loyalty I’ve been staying at this hotel for years and have always booked a standard room. The experience was consistent and satisfactory, which is why I kept coming back. However, this Easter holiday I decided to treat myself and booked a room with a front view and a king-size bed (180cm) — both of which came at an extra cost. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I was given a room that had neither the view nor the bed I paid for. After bringing this to the reception’s attention, I was reallocated to a room designed for disabled guests. While it had a slightly larger bed, it still lacked the promised view and overall ambiance I was expecting. I left feeling disappointed and let down. After paying extra, I expected to receive the upgraded experience I was promised. Sadly, I didn’t get value for the additional money, and I no longer see the point in booking anything more than the standard room — if I return at all.
The decor was very good. The room was a little small, as was the bathroom but still had everything I needed. Noise level from outside & other guests was low. 1 of the pillows had a couple of stains so I didn’t use it. Staff were all lovely. Although breakfast was continental there was plenty of choice.
Great location. Nice clean room. Massive, comfy bed. Great staff. Brilliant breakfast.
Would be nice if the emails they sent were in English. Parking on site situation was ridiculous. Had to park on double yellows, run in, get a fob and then try and get into the narrowest car park I've ever been in. Stupid.
This hotel is by far the best we've stayed in , in Manchester. It is in a great location, is very clean, the staff are friendly and professional but best of all the beds are soooo comfortable. We have stayed in this hotel numerous times and feel refreshed every time.
Lovely girl welcomed us at check in. View from room not fabulous but I’m not here to gaze out of the window all day. Really comfy bed, excellent pillows and good quality bedding. Bathroom spotlessly clean, great shower, decent toilet roll. Would stay again. 👍🏼
Overall stay was great no issue with the room but the breakfast was really underwhelming, needs further improvments, more food items.
Room was a bit small. Sockets for items were also not best placed. Had to unplug things to plug in phones etc Storage for clothes was minimal. Most ended up in the floor as there were 2 of us and we stayed for 2 nights. Nowhere to store toiletries Pillow was too soft and room was too warm. Would not like to stay in summer The TV picture was freezing constantly and unwatchable.
Very clean and friendly staff
Great communication with staff. Extremely clean and efficient. Good breakfast. Great location. Will 100% stay again and recommend to others.
Great value for money for the offering , excellent central location for shopping etc, very clean and friendly helpful staff , only downside is not having more food options however there is plenty food places around
Great location. Very good breakfast. Good room.
Great location. The room had dusty remotes and appliences. I could hear people from next room. Its a good thing I am a deep sleaper
Very good stay! Would definitely return again. Amazing location.
Absolutelly brillant! Costel was such a heartful and helpful host at the reception. Once we join Manchester again, this hotel will be our choice! Thanks to the whole team for welcoming us very friendly and for making our trip to Manchester so great
Nice comfy bed, nice size TV compared to other hotels, room a bit snug.
Good location, clean but was it worth the money , not really
Lovely hotel, with good amenities in a great central location
I always enjoy my stay at Motel One Royal Exchange Manchester, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the rooms nice and clean and comfortable. The only thing that really prevents a 10 score is that it could do with a bit of a refresh as is looking a bit worn.
Another great stay at Motel ONE. Although the booking is in the name of my father I am reviewing for Ahmet and Linda Okur . We want to thank all of the staff for making our stay so pleasant . Special thanks to Fatima , Mario, Celeste and Abbie. They all remembered us from our last visit a year ago and they made us feel so welcome like family All of the staff at the hotel really make a difference and they create an atmosphere of relaxation and calm. The room was spotless and the breakfast was delicious 10 out of 10 for everything
Really disappointed, the room was very small, there was no suitable area to get ready, I had to sit on the floor infront of an unlit mirror. There was no hairdryer in the room as advertised. There was only 2 packs of decaff coffee as choice of drink, no regular coffee, nor tea. Only 2 small packet of milk. No water. The room was very dark as we had to keep the blackout curtains closed at all time as our window looked directly into an office.. at one point I came out the shower and had a girl against the office window eating her lunch looking directly into our room. There was zero privacy, in this case some privacy glass would have been suitable. We were both awoken very early by lots of consistent banging, i dont know if this was the cleaner or other guests being loud but noise travels very easily, probably not helped that we were directly opposite the lifts. I felt very dissatisfied as this was a get away treat for me and my partner being newly engaged, to celebrate and do some wedding shopping.
Nice hotel in Central position excellent for a stay for one night no view but we weren't in the room to look at the view very clean
Great stay at Manchester Motel One on King street for a works reunion. Ideal city centre location close to both stations and at an excellent price. Rooms clean and well equipped and staff were friendly and helpful. Free Wi-Fi available unlike some competitors. No cooked breakfast but plenty of cold options. Recommend this hotel if staying in Manchester for business or pleasure.
Comfy warm perfect location
Overall the hotel is ok but everything about it screams of being cheap. The rooms are tiny. Hardly any space to put your stuff. No desk, sofa or bathroom counter space. I wanted a body lotion but the front desk didn't even have that. The people at the breakfast area kept hounding me to pay for the breakfast. It seemed that they have some sort of anxiety or PTSD from people not paying for their breakfast. Just add it to my credit card, instead of making people pay separately. It was super rude. So, overall the location is great, cleanliness was top class. But the staff needs some more training and of course nothing can be done about the tiny rooms.
Great value quality hotel, all areas clean and well maintained, in good location with plenty of bars and shops close by, all the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.
Bed is not comfortable and the pillows
Amazing service. Lovely hotel room perfect for travelling. Only problem was the tv was glitchy on live tv and wouldn’t go onto apps
Excellent stay Amazing friendly & helpful staff will stay here again. Great location.
My wife and I spent 3 wonderful nights at this hotel and can’t fault it in any way. The hotel itself is very clean and tastefully decorated which enhances the calm and welcoming feeling. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming, always happy to help and very knowledgeable. Nothing appeared to be to much trouble. The rooms are not big but are ideal for what we needed and as it’s in the middle of the city we weren’t disturbed by outside noise. BRILLIANT STAY
Lovely hotel to stay rooms are very comfortable very clean Staff are very nice and helpful when we arived we were told they given us a disabled room as I have bed legs thanyou so much
Very clean and the window opened so there was fresh air.
It was a brilliant stay nothing could have bettered it.
Hotel conveniently located in the centre, with good transport connections to the venue. A reasonable price for the accommodation with breakfast included. Staff courteous and happy, friendly to chat to and helpful. Room clean and tidy, bed comfortable.
Had a lovely stay great Location comfortable clean room friendly staff would definitely recommend
We stayed for 1 night whilst attending a show in Manchester. Perfect location, friendly staff, lovely breakfast and clean comfortable room. No complaints at all.
Check in was seamless and the room was clean albeit small however, as we just needed a place to rest our head for one night it was adequate. Please take care though if driving there as their website offers 20% discount at one of the city centre car parks. This is not the case as they now have their own car park and therefore do not offer the discount. We didn’t know this and so when enquired at reception we were told that they hadn’t updated the website and offered a complimentary bottle of water !!!!!!! A bit of a joke at the bar in the evening as there was a long queue and suddenly they announced the card machine wasn’t working, could only take cash. When asked if they could charge the room they said no and there was an ATM round the corner!!
nice basic hotel with good facilities, good bar. Breakfast was continental but good range of food choices and plenty of it. impressed with the 12pm check out time too which was really handy as gave me time to explore a bit before I caught train home
Professional service, pleasant and polite staff
The only thing I could fault about the room was not having a plug near the mirror, so drying hair wasn't so easy!
Good value for money. No frills rooms; clean, tidy and comfortable.
The room was small but well designed and fitted out, comfortable and quiet. Absolutely OK for a night's stay or two if you are generally out and about. I was alone - might have felt tight for two. That said, excellent value for great location.
Great service as usual
Always a clean & comfortable room. The staff are wonderful too

Położenie i okolica
