Smelled wierd in room, dont understand why everything I got was in german?
The hotel is showing its age and is in need of renovation. The bathroom, in particular, no longer meets the standards of other Motel One hotels. Therefore, the Nordic price is unreasonable against other locations. I also found the breakfast overpriced. WLAN is to slow and no TV channels are available, only App's!
We paid 400€ per night, the room was nice however it would have been nice to have some water or glasses and something to put the tab water in as it was apparently drinkable but no one told us. Also a cattle and tea/coffee facilities would have been good.
Grossly overpriced. Limited breakfast and crazy bar prices. Friendly staff.
We went with another couple and got a much smaller room. We think this might be because we booked through Booking.com. That was a shame. Also no water or tea / coffee making facilities. Location is very good
very nice stay in Kopenhagen!!!
Need to put phones in the room to provide wake-up calls. Fortunately, the staff knocked on my door to wake me up. They went above and beyond their duties. Also a small refrigerator in the room would be nice. Love the location of the property.and the property is clean, friendly staff and great for business travelers or just for a holiday.
Location was terrific. Downside was we had no tea/coffee/fridge facilities in the room.
The bed was so comfy it felt like I was sleeping on a cloid
Top Service
Before checking in, I was curious how a place that calls itself a "motel" (the streets of inner Copenhagen are not particularly car friendly) would deliver. I was very, very happy with my stay. Super comfortable beds (stayed in two different rooms), exceedingly helpful and attentive staff. Spacious rooms and a wi-fi connection that remained uninterrupted throug a hour a 6-hour long online meeting. For future stays in Copenhagen, I have reason to look for other sites. Will be back.
Way to expensive fir what you get!
Friendly staff, great hotel, extremely comfortable beds we had the best nights sleep. We would recommend requesting a room at the back of the hotel to reduce noise. Hotel ideally located for travelling around Copenhagen. We would definitely recommend and be staying there when we return to Copenhagen.
Everything good except when we arrived to the room it was smelling quite strong to cigarette, and there was a leak in the bathroom which we informed the front desk on our exit.
Thank you to people at the bar, reception and breakfast !
The location is perfect, the rooms are small but well designed. The cleaning was good. We had breakfast at the hotel one day but there could be more options for that money, such as fried eggs, smoked salmon. I didn't like the smell of the cheese at all.
Staff is helpful and professional. Room was quiet and well decorated.
Nice and friendly Team
The best thing is the location. I could walk to everything I wanted to visit. The staff is lovely too. My single room was very small with no space for a chair. I liked being able to open the window. For $200 plus per night, I think the hotel could offer more/better towels, a real glass instead of a paper cup, and a better draining sink. Internet was spotty and I had to re-establish tv connection every time I turned it on.
Great staff and a beautiful room made our stay wonderful. The location was perfect and made visiting everywhere we wanted to go significantly easier.
My room was small, but it was probably exactly what I selected. Staff, room cleanliness, breakfast, location, comfort were all very good.
Everything was great (especially the staff everyone was willing to help and very friendly), the breakfast was very tasty and everything was freshly made. Also we really liked the aesthetic and decoration. The cleaning services could be enhanced especially in the bathroom (the sink and the mirror were not cleaned on a daily basis).
The hotel is well located and has good facilities. The room should have a television with free access to Danish and other countries' channels. Breakfast should have more variety.
The people nice and the location perfect!
Thank you
This is a really well organized hotel. It was possible to check in quite early in the morning. I don't expect this but it was nice, that it was possible and that staff prepared everything efficiently. Every interaction with staff was friendly and helpful. Just a very smooth experience.
An amazing hotel, with lovely and kind staff and excellent rooms. The only flaw I would point out is the noise we had every day from the road outside.
Your staff were extremely helpful and could not do enough for you ! The room was always clean and very quiet and peaceful . The TV was very difficult to use and we only used it once
no TV channels available, there was no chair/desk in the room, very old fashioned and very tiny room (not Motel-One Standard!), bathroom even worse, very bad elevator
The rooms are on the smaller side, and the toilet in particular felt very cramped. However, the bed was extremely comfortable, which I really appreciated. One downside was the lack of privacy. My window faced another building at very close proximity, so I had to keep the curtains closed at all times. Additionally, the room only had blackout curtains and no daytime sheers, so it was either completely dark or overly bright, there was no in-between, which was a bit frustrating. Being situated above a relatively busy road, the noise from morning deliveries and street vendors was quite disruptive. I don’t think I ever slept past 6 a.m. due to the street noise. Breakfast was of good quality and the coffee was excellent, but the offering remained exactly the same every day. After four days, it felt repetitive. The hotel does have a small bar, which was a nice touch for a nightcap. The staff were polite and attentive, though it seemed like they were a bit overstretched. Housekeeping often came late in the afternoon, which wasn’t ideal as I had meetings throughout the day and would return for a quick refresh only to find the room still uncleaned. Overall, the hotel is not bad for a short stay. It's comfortable and has a few nice touches, but I’ve stayed at better places in Copenhagen. I’d recommend it for a couple of days, but I wouldn't stay for an extended period.
rooms are not that big and bathroom is tiny especially if your are a large person yourself. bed was too soft.
I chose Motel1 on this occasion as my usual budget for Copenhagen conference had been reduced. I expected a reduction in quality and service but received neither. This stylish hotel in an excellent location has everything you will need including the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! staffed by friendly people. Motel1 will be my number 1 choice when I return next year.
Exzellent staff. Issam on reception gets a special mention Price was way too high for the standard of the hotel. Room was too basic. Not a comfortable stay if more than one night
Location was very convenient. Beds too soft for myself and road noise in particular at 5:20am every morning from the garbage collectors woke me up. Being there for a conference it is always disappointing to see elevated prices.
Good standard, well located. Would welcome a safe in the bedroom!
I have to admit, that the Lounge&Bar Team would deserve extra rate 10(0). They were exceptionally good and created a very kind and really especially kind atmosphere.
The waste bin in the bathroom wasn't emptied The bathroom door is difficult to keep in closed position Difficult to access the window for opening/closening - quite warm in the room Why not breakfast from 0630? Very high prices, although we have a company contract Most important: One of our bookings (Primo) was cancelled for one night - and we didn't cancel. My colleague had to drive more than an hour and find private accomodation (Bjørn Hågan (7/4-10/4)
Great hotel, lovely staff and fab location.
The staff was very friendly, specially Marcelo, great guy. I had to change rooms because the room I was offered had a terrible smell and I was charged for that. The second room didn’t smell, but both bathrooms were dirty. The light switches were dirty, the bedsheets were also dirty (didn’t seems like it was used, but it had marks as if it was dragged through dirt).
It was an amazing stay. We came for our wedding and were upgraded to a bigger room. The staff is very very kind - my dad had a broken foot and they did everything to make him comfortable. A big heartfelt thank you to the staff at the hotel for being so kind and helpful The location is perfect, just a walking distance to wedding hall, ample of restaurants to choose from nearby! A perfect place to stay when in Copenhagen
Best room ever! Nice Team,
We were very satisfied with our stay at MotelOne. The staff were always friendly and responded quickly to our wishes and needs. Our colleague Minela was particularly helpful and made us feel at home. We would always come back to the MotelOne in Copenhagen if we were to travel to Denmark again. All in all: a great experience, very good service and very good value for money!
Quite the basic offer for a shirt stay, but nothing out of the ordinary. You get your bed, a basic bathroom and you're set to go. Definitely for a very short stay for sure. Staff were pretty warm though, so the big warm welcome is a big plus. The location is great too, right I the centre of the Copenhagen action and so was the virtual room key...possibly the coolest part of the facility.
Excellent hotel, right in the center of Copenhagen Friendly staff, comfortable room and good breakfast. Highly recommend
Very welcoming and helpful staff. Comfortable bed but drawback was no chair with back for seating in the room. Neither was bathroom equipped with shampoo, conditioner, tissues etc which come in handy when especially travelling internationally. Location was great.
Good value for money, good location, friendly staff, comfy bed. Wouldn't change a thing.
Perfect for a short stop, we booked an economy double room but unfortunately, compared to other Motel One locations, this room was smaller and we had some surprises. This hotel was the 1st who didn’t had a tv cable but it had a cast. The bed was small for 2 persons and the mattress was keep moving and at some point we could fell from the bed. The bathroom was also smaller, but the shower was really good. Downside was the door which has leaving open space so you could hear everything. The staff was very friendly, always smiling and checking. The breakfast had lots of options to choose from, but it was the same everyday. We recommend this hotel but maybe choose for a better room. We stayed on the ground floor, the window was half covered for privacy but it isn’t enough.
Mój ulubiony hotel w Kopenhadze. Świetna lokalizacja, przemiła obsługa, wygodne łóżko i dobre śniadanie.
Znakomite warunki za przystępną cenę
Piękny hotel, świetnie położony, oczywiście trzyma poziom Motel One :)

Położenie i okolica
Różnorodność i hygge – czyli Motel One w Kopenhadze
Mówiąc najprościej to przytulna, miła atmosfera, w której wspólnie z bliskimi korzystamy z uroków życia. Trudno o lepsze podsumowanie tego, czego można doświadczyć w naszych hotelowych wnętrzach w Kopenhadze.
