We are always made very welcome. Love the warm and friendly reception area. Rooms are always clean and well looked after
Nice hotel well situated. Rooms a bit on the small side however adequate. The room decor was very nice and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with a brilliant large walk in shower. Disappointed that the room I was allocated had no view (level 1 room 5) only a view of the brick wall of the station next door. The tv also only had 3 channels to view which i pointed out to the reception staff.
So convenient from Glasgow Central. Rooms may be small but have tea and coffee, hairdryer and shampoo and body wash. All very important. The free large bottle of water was very welcome. Staff were fabulous, very professional and friendly, breakfast was great and the bar was well stocked. Free luggage storage was a big plus. So why not at 10? This is not anything the hotel could chance I’m sure, but the relentless boom boom boom of a nearby nightclub didn’t end until 2am. Our friends staying at the other side of the hotel didn’t hear anything.
Was given a room on a high floor as requested, room was clean, comfortable and comfy bed.Good choice at breakfast
Just what I expected from previous visits. Comfy room, calm ambiance and good continental breakfast. Would use again and recommend.
excellent location, although some noise on a saturday night in the locale. Friendly and helpful front desk staff, the bar team also. the room was ok..a little small for the ££ would have liked a bath, not just a shower: but shower worked well (plenty of hot water)
We have stayed here on numerous occasions, and have never had 1 complaint. This 2 day stay was well below the standard we are used to. The water in the sink wasn't draining away. The heating wasn't working... And we had trouble to get the TV to work... Even after asking at reception there was no solution 😕 and have u changed mattresses? Ours was brick hard and never slept the 2 nights. Then there was the noise... Banging constantly left right and centre. And lastly our. Smoke alarm was covered in a dirty sock... Photo attached. Hairdryer is brilliant though Absolutely gutted at this review as all my others have been excellent. Hopefully just a 1 off experience.
Very central Rooms small but lovely, new & clean. Good bathroom. Lovely, helpful, reception staff whatever the time of day. Free wifi Would stay again.
As ever , great stay, will be back in a few weeks.! Will try not to lose my bloody hat again !!
The hotel is in the city centre, which is close to everything and easy to move around. I will stay again in any of the motel one
only complaint was the poor pressure in shower, and small towels, everything else great!
As a solo traveller visiting family in Glasgow this hotel feels like home. I never feel uncomfortable sitting alone in the bar area and it's always warm & cozy and welcoming. Everywhere is clean and staff are friendly and professional. I would like to see twin beds in some of the rooms in order to share with a friend or my daughter on occasion.
Unfortunately we had a power cut but this was not the fault of the hotel. Bedrooms were fine and comfortable , however i thought the breakfast was expensive for what it was, if it had been hot options then I would have understood but it was a pretty basic buffet.
First time used Motel one . Would not hesitate to return. Nice clean room ,easy check in and a nice continental breakfast.
The hotel was superb, the beds were incredibly comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful and it was very reasonably priced.
Friendly helpful staff, clean room very good breakfast
Room small but everything you need is there. Staff excellent. Main issue with room the mechanical ventilation which you cannot turn off which is noisy.
From the ease of booking / checking in online to collecting my key at reception, the front of house team were friendly. The room was on point too and had everything that was required for an overnight stay. On using the bar, the staff seemed friendly also, although the drinks were slightly overpriced On the whole though, a good experience and I will be back, in fact I've already booked!!!
Really lovely staff that work there and made my stay as good as it could get. The room was a really good size for the few days I stayed and was very clean the hotel itself was amazing and really had a calming vibe. I ha e recommended this hotel to others who have had positive experiences.
A very nice hotel, let down by being stifling hot in the both the room and breakfast area. The room was so hot it was like sleeping in a heatwave and as helpful as the staff were, they explained there was no way to make it any cooler other than offering me a fan.
Great hotel, great staff, great rooms, great breakfast. Perfect
Great locatiion,comfy beds,modern rooms,100 percent perfect
The plumbing System could do with an Update. When you wash your hands or take a shower, the continuous piping sounds wakes the other person in the room. Else, we enjoyed our stay.
Great stay only one problem there is no water machine at reception at night when returning back a little late
Hi we enjoyed our stay but felt like the staff looked there nose down on us after we spent a lot of money booking the hotel with the dog fee each night also.We spent a lot in your bar the past few nights but the last night was really bad.the security questioned if a stayed in the hotel when a clearly had my card and due to this I did get very upset by it.We then Went to the bar to get a coffee and my partner wanted a beer and we got refused but what a did.mt get was this guy who was in the bar the night before shouting & swearing at the bar staff got Served still but we don’t.We felt like we were looked down on because my partner had his work clothes on .its very unprofessional service & we love coming to your hotel but this isn’t the first time this has happened with my partner because he had work clothes on he’s been refused.its not right or fair
Love this hotel. The staff are great. It’s lovely and clean and the design of the fixtures and fittings are just lovely. The only criticism is that the temperature in the bedrooms is ridiculously hot. Slightly unbearable even in October
Good location near shops, pubs and restaurants, the Hydro in walking distance.Breakfast very good value, great choice.Staff are friendly.
The room was spotless as always , the staff were amazing as always , a bit of an inconvenience having a power cut right as we were getting ready to go for dinner but this was a grid fault and not a hotel fault, the only gripe I have is that we again didn’t receive our free bottle of water that’s so plainly advertised
Good location and good value
I was so delighted to speak with a live person (Emma, I believe) o the phone who answered my questions and made the reservations. Not only do I dislike the impersonal nature of the computer system, but because I wanted to book two rooms (a friend from Germany joined us fora few days) the machine just could not handle that. We found the rooms to be clean and neat. I would have liked another bottle of water (a carton was supplied when needed in Ireland) and a wash cloth! The front desk staff were very helpful in directing us to the bus and to good eateries; they were patient answering our questions and friendly rather than just business-like. The motel breakfast was certainly adequate but seemed a bit pricy. Our friend has stayed at Motel One o the continent and has had positive experiences. thank you for your help
The only down side was the street noise. If you're the type to sleep with earplugs or headphones on it then you're good to go. It wasn't 'rowdy', just people having a good time. Comfortable bed/temperature, very clean, lovely staff. I didn't use the lobby bar but people seemed to be enjoying it and there are lots of take-out/fast food options as well as groceries. It is just a block up from the start of Argyll street...shopping, bars and eating. Very convenient to Central station and just a short walk to Queen Street and Buchanan street bus station. A very good place to stay if you don't have a car.
Stayed many times here, my go to hotel in the city. The rooms are spotless, and always lovely showers with plenty hot water. The staff are always happy to help with any queries, and are pleasant and mannerly, back again soon.
great stay
Motel One room very comfortable clean and quiet. Disappointed no snacks like sandwitches available when checked in C20.00. Not very good.
Great hotel friendly staff clean and comfy and close to all amenities
This hotel was perfect for our stay. It was a great location right next to Glasgow Central train station. The lobby was really nice and the bartenders and front desk staff were very helpful and friendly! I would definitely choose it again next time I'm in Glasgow!
A good hotel in a great location
The absence of refrigerator/microwave in the room coupled with a lack of food service in the bar is limiting. I would not stay here again for those reasons.
The hotel is very good value for a basic, decent, comfortable room. The breakfast was good continental. I was lucky a room was available on arrival though it was morning. The reception lady was very friendly, pleasant, and accommodating. Location was very central.
The location was close to nice restaurants and bus systems. They serve a very nice breakfast and a nice bar. The only issue we had was parking was not on site but down the street. There is also a special pedestrian entrance which is further down that should be pointed out. The hotel will comp the cost so it does work out. The rooms are nice and we had one with a great view.
Negativ: TV Programms (e.g. Channel 4) is rarely working, Shower was super loud (not standard in other Motel One hotels), Towels are small
Great location, nice decor, good welcome. Rooms small and basic but comfortable. Only issue was I reported a maintenance issue which was not rectified
Wonderful stay, clean, quiet, friendly, efficient, and hassle-free. Would stay again without hesitation.
Excellent hotel, friendly staff and great location, right next to the train station, next time we go to Glasgow week would definitely say here again
We had a great stay at Motel One. The staff are friendly and helpful, the common areas including the bar are stylish but comfortable. The rooms are well appointed for their price point, the bed is comfy and the discounted parking a major bonus. Good location right next door to Glasgow's Central Station. My only suggested improvement is better coffee at breakfast.
What a lovely place to stay in Glasgow for our last night before flying out. We arrived on train and the location couldn't be better - a mere 1-2 minute walk from the station. Check-in was a breeze, our room was wonderful and the entire ambience of the place made me wish we had more time to stay. Will definitely re-book.
The entrance was littered with rubbish and cigarette ends on arrival. I found this really offputting. Room was small but adequate. Expensive.
Nice little hotel in the center of Glasgow. Comfy clean room for a great price. Loved the bar and staff. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
Czysto uprzejmy personel
Dobre położenie blisko do centrum , super bar dlugo czynny ,przestronne logby za taką cenę naprawdę godny polecenia.

Następny przystanek: Glasgow!
6 ważnych powodów, dla których warto odwiedzić „Glaschu”
Wiecznie zielone
Piękne i niedrogie
Atrakcje
Gin71.
Położenie i okolica
Romantyzm kolei połączony z designem
Nasz niedrogi designerski hotel położony bezpośrednio przy Glasgow Central Station w całości nawiązuje do romantyzmu kolei żelaznej. W hotelu Motel One Glasgow połączyliśmy przemysłowy charakter techniki kolejowej i torowej z niezwykłymi emocjami towarzyszącymi podróży pociągiem.
Regały i stoły z wysokiej jakości mosiężnymi elementami wprowadzają w przemysłową przeszłość Glasgow, a dopełnienie koncepcji wystroju stanowią lampy ścienne Aldo Bernardiego.
Mungo. Odjazd!
