The hotel is really good, with a good location close to many things. My only complain is that the bottle of water that you receive is the smallest bottle from all the other Motel One that I had stayed, and when you consider that is water for 2 people, it is not enough
The location was far enough away from the hub-bub to be quite, with only a 20 minute walk into the very noisy city centre. The staff were lovely, the room and bathroom were large and clean. Breakfast was busy but very nice.

This hotel has a decent breakfast, adequate rooms, and is in a good location. The staff were friendly and the bar is open until 12. The only warm food item for breakfast was hard boiled eggs. The room was adequate and the cleaning staff did a great job, but the room has no fridge, closet, or place to put your luggage. These aren’t huge issues, just making others aware. The bed was comfortable and we easily got around on foot or by tram and would stay here again.

Our room at Motel One was very nice and clean. The only negative point is that the space was a little tight. House keeping and front desk staffs were very helpful and friendly. Check in and check out were quick and easy.
I would have rated our stay at the hotel higher but there was a small misunderstanding with the reception staff. On arrival, we were asked if we wanted our room cleaned every day (we were staying for three nights in the hotel). I understood the environmental concerns of the establishment and said that it would only be necessary to clean on our departure, but I assumed that the room staff would at least come to make our beds and this was not the case. On the second day we asked for our room to be cleaned but no one came to clean it, I don't know why. Very friendly staff! Was welcomed very warmly and I was able to leave my suitcase in the hotel the day I was heading home since my flight didn't leave until late afternoon. The breakfast was really good, there were also vegan options (yoghurt, cheese, milk). The room was small, but sufficient for a city trip. Comfortable bed, TV, bathroom space was sufficient as well with a good working hairdryer. The location was good as well, about a 20 minute walk from the central station and 5 minute walk to the Waterloop-Metro station.

I arrived shortly before midnight to find the hotel did not have my booking. My workplace had booked me a 2-night stay via our corporate travel agency, and the hotel did not have my reservation despite me showing the man on the desk the confirmation email from the hotel. I had a horrible migraine and was by myself, and when I started crying because I was panicking about what to do, the man on check-in said 'Please step away to the side and stop crying'. There was a complete lack of empathy, and when I asked if there was any way I could just book and pay for two nights there and then, he said 'No, maybe you could get the metro.' Sorry but suggesting I get the metro instead of giving me a room is insane behaviour. He then said I would have to do it online if there was availability, but he didn't know if there was availability. So I booked and paid online as there was availability, and he was then able to give me a room key. The entire experience was horrible. I'd specifically asked my workplace to book this hotel because I had previously stayed there two years ago and had had a good experience. After my most recent experience, I will never stay here again.
Our first impression was a very friendly person on your front desk at check in who was very welcoming and ensured we were well informed and satisfied. Rooms were modern clean and well appointed. The motel is in a very convenient location close to most of the common activities we wanted to do. Our only suggestion is for complimentary coffee and tea making either in the rooms or in the lounge.

This hotel was perfect for my 2-night business trip. The room was clean, functional and comfortable, although it lacked any tea or coffee making facilities or even bottled water and the toiletries were the bare minimum with just soap and shower gel (e.g. no body lotion or shower cap etc).

We enjoyed our stay in Motel One Water Amsterdam-Waterlooplein. Due to the good hotel location, we were able to explore Amsterdam on foot. The reception staff was very friendly and gave us good recommendations what to see and do in the city centre. The room was nice and clean. I would definitely recommend the hotel and will make my bookings in it again when visiting Amsterdam again.

Such a lovely and clean hotel in the heart of Amsterdam! We stayed for two nights before embarking on a river cruise and Motel One Amsterdam-Waterlooplein gave us a great jumping off point to walk to the Centraal Station, restaurants and museums! It was extremely quiet as well and the lobby/bar area was beautifully done!! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Thank you!

Great staff, good location & services.
Room was spotlessly clean,, crisp, white sheets and towels, quiet but quite small. The air conditioning was not working in our room so was very hot at night. We did mention to reception at the beginning and end of our trip. The hotel reception and dining area was stylish and modern with a relaxing feel to it.

Great hotel, love the interior design and the staff are so accommodating. The only changes I would want is a small tea/ coffee set up in the bedrooms, and to say that the air conditioning doesn't seem to work at all - the rooms are boiling hot even with the air conditioning on cold and high intensity!
There was no fridge and this is essential for us. Also the noise of the fan in the bathroom that never turned off was not pleasant.
For the price, extra amenities like conditioner and hand cream would be nice. Otherwise, clean and modern.
Loved location easy walk to central Amsterdam, Staff were great we arrived around 9 .00AM & lovely receptionist found us a room which was ready, so we could shower after 30 hrs travel. Its rooms are small & expensive but that is Europe. Loved our stay

We loved your hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms. The only thing lacking is coffee in the room!!! That’s something you should really consider, of at least complementary coffee in the lobby. We’ve never stayed at a hotel that didn’t offer at least one or the other!!

Compact and basic rooms bathroom was ideal clean. Don’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. Reasonable priced drinks in the bar. Pre drinks then drinks before bed in a lovely comfortable setting. Staff were always smiling and helpful enjoyed our stay in Amsterdam

Great location as it’s walking distance from the station. Staff were helpful, polite and friendly. Only downside, the rooms were very basic and didn’t have a kettle to make a hot drink.

Phenomenal experience with this hotel on my recent trip. It was by far my favorite accommodation on a multi city vacation. The view was lovely even though there were complications from renovation with the original room booked which was meant to have a more desirable view. The hotel reached out prior to my arrival to notify me of this and even refunded a portion of the cost. The room was clean and well sized for two people. The bathroom was clean although not as private as desired as there is a bit of a gap at the back of the door and it is made of frosted glass. The location was amazing, we easily walked over from the train station and had ease of access to all of the major sights as well as restaurants and shopping. Can't say enough good things about this location, I would certainly stay here again if I should return to Paris.
Fabulous hotel, really friendly and helpful reception staff. We found the room very hot as only 1 window could be opened, but the reception staff kindly gave us a fan for our stay. The bed was so comfy! Will definitely be recommending this hotel. Room could be made better by having a fridge/ kettle to make tea.
The usual level of amenities and service as expected from Motel One. Location: very good, within walking distance of the main square (Dam square) and other attractions. Rembrandt house and the popular Cafe De Sluyswacht are a few minutes walk from the hotel, as is the Waterlooplein Metro station. Breakfast is very good with lots of BIO products. Staff very helpful.

Excellent central location only a short walk from tram stop or a leisurely walk into the City itself. Hotel staff were welcoming and professional at all times and we enjoyed our two night stay. Only disappointment was the lack of either tea or coffee making facilities in the room which meant a trip to the bar if you wanted a morning drink and paying for the privilege.

Hotel is in a great location and very modern. Hotel immaculate and staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms 309/310 as expected, great king-size rooms and sufficient storage for a few nights. Beds were the best hotel beds I've ever slept in!! Breakfast was included and enough to start your day off. Coffee was good! We found the hotel drinks prices cheaper than some pubs! Overall this is a fantastic hotel, I will 100% recommend it and will definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our party welcome.

The receptionists and bar staff are so friendly and kind. It always feels nice to come back to the hotel. The beds are comfortable and the showers are brilliant.
It was really comfortable. Room was small but it’s grand for what you need it for. Bed was incredibly comfortable and the curtains were great as they blocked out the light. I’m not sure how you knew I was staying with family as ye checked us all in together when I booked separately so that was weird.
The room was clean and quiet. Not much room for luggage. Breakfast was very good.
