This hotel is just a huge disappointment. The photos on your website do not reflect the rooms you offer, I stayed in the superior double, the room was dirty, the furniture was stained, and it wasnt a nice place to be, we left the hotel an hour after checking in because we just didnt want to stay in filth.
Im Bad funktionierte die Lüftung nicht, weshalb sich dieses nach dem Duschen in ein Hamam verwandelt hat. Die Toilette war etwas undicht, es lief Wasser aus der Spülung
Good value for money. Central location. Smart design and looked like the bar and dining areas were nicely done.

Room was too warm, bedding felt rough and irritated my skin all night, one of the pillows was folded up somehow into a square pillow. Disappointing stay, glad I only paid standard room price, checking on booking.com room price for same night was 169 per night.
Central location Lovely staff
Great accommodation,used it for the first time on a visit to the theatre (less than 5 minute walk away )didn’t have breakfast as we had made other arrangements. Will definitely use the hotel again in the future
Booked in as we were visiting the local theatre, hotel is in the best location. Room was fantastic and all the staff who we dealt with were all lovely, Jordan who checked us in was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. Would defo recommend a stay here if visiting Newcastle! xx
As a Be One member we were not offered a voucher for the free water. We had to ask for it. Hand wash dispenser in en suite had a broken top so would not dispense properly.
The staff are very helpful and friendly . The rooms are clean and well maintained. The only problem I have is with the dreadful cups provided with the tea and coffee facilities . Also the breakfast was a little limited for a coeliac. I would have loved a gluten free croissant.

Nice hotel which was well located for the business meetings I was attending. Staff really friendly and helpful. TV remote didnt work, but reception sorted that out quite quickly. I would say good value for money.
£14 for a continental breakfast. Could have bought the equivalent from Tesco for £5. Had a bed which was 2 singles pushed together. Very disappointing.

We love to stay at motel one
The reception and bar area is authentically pleasing. The room was awful, very basic and dated the walls were filthy carpets worn a used cup just on the floor near the curtains. Tea and coffee making facilities not fit for purpose. Not even a bottle of water on the room..Toilet brush left down the toilet. You know it's bad when there's one bottle of soap in the shower that does everything. Two single beds pushed together. The room was boiling too even with the thermostat turned down to the lowest. I won't be in a rush to stay again that's for sure.
On arrival the staff were excellent, the room was up to the usual standard for motel one a d clean. Very good stay in a great location for the town and football.
I stay at motel One several times for short leisure trips&it's always cleaned to the highest standards and all the staff are very pleasant and helpful, from housekeeping, reception and barstaff.I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Newcastle.

It was a nice hotel, great bar, incredibly friendly staff. Just the room itself was the biggest let down - the room has the same layout as all other MotelOne's, But my room backed onto an Alley way, with little privacy and I had gotten woken up by commerical bins being emptied. Breakfast was standard continental, nothing too special - I've been at other Motel One's where there has been a little more variety within the continental in terms of meats, cheeses, spreads and cereals.

Room was clean and tidy, reception and checking in all efficient. Will definitely stay here again. Great value for money in central location. Only reason I cant give a perfect 10 is that I would like a more powerful shower - that's not to say the shower was bad, just not quite as powerful as I would have liked.
I try and stay here whenever I visit the hotel is excellent friendly helpfully staff lovely clean rooms great bar open all hours

Excellent value for money on week days. The cost increases substantially on weekends or sometimes when Newcastle United are playing at home.

Didn't pay for breakfast pleased I didn't 14poundsper person very shocked at was on offer pleased I didn't pay as it was just nothing to a continental bit of ham and cheese not value at all
Hotel and staff were excellent the room was very comfortable, only negative was there was limited counter space other than a very small unit that housed the tea and coffee making stuff. The hotel was as central to the city as you could be. Would stay there again when I return.
the overall stay for myself and my group was fine, with one notable exception. My son's (Nick Laws) and his girlfriends room. Upon retiring for the night on the Friday, 20th Feb, they discovered an excrement stain on the duvet! They were relocated to a new room upon reporting this to reception. They received a verbal apology from whoever was on reception, but nothing more. I wonder how this can be possible....a serviced room but your staff not noticing the excrement stain and presumably signing off the room as ready for occupancy. I would like some further explanation and perhaps more than a token apology.

1. Excellent customer service across all areas 2. The hotel and room was spotlessly clean 3. Within 10 min walk from train station 4. Very central 5. Excellent late night security to ensure those that should be in the hotel are the correct guests.
Everything was good. BOD very comfortable. Only downside was fire alarm went off Saturday morning but that was not your fault. Will stay again.

King size bed was two beds pushed together which was disappointing , fire alarm went off twice during the night and we could hear music from a bar nearby. I understand this is not their fault however i wish we were wanted and could prepare for outside noise
Rooms are as much as you need, Clean, tidy, organised, basic but decorated nicely compared to other hotels with higher expense. Very central location so it’s very convenient. Beds comfortable, For the price you can’t complain, probably won’t find better around thus
