Motel is in a good location near Jakominiplatz. The rooms are clean with surprisingly good sound insulation. You can get everywhere in the city under 30 minutes wirh the tram station near the motel.

The room was superb clean, the breakfast was delicious and offered great dairy-free choices as well, which I needed.
In general, excellent service by all reception and housekeeping staff members.
Feels Like Home at Motel One I had a fantastic stay at Motel One. The room was excellent — spotless, well-sized, and thoughtfully designed with a comfortable bed and a desk, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home immediately. The location is perfect, and the overall offer is exactly what I appreciate: everything I need, nothing unnecessary, and all at a great price. I especially liked the self-check-in and the convenience of using my phone as a room key — very modern and efficient. The only small hiccup was returning to the hotel after midnight: the front sliding door didn’t open automatically, and I wasn’t sure how to use the phone key to get in. Luckily, another guest was leaving, so I was able to enter. I’m still not sure if it was a mistake on my part or a technical issue, but it didn’t affect my overall positive experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for smart comfort and great value!

It was a super great experience of 5 nights. I booked through the conferenece homepage's recommendation. The price is rational. The service was great. And the most important for me, it is in the center of city. The breakfast was also impressive by the way!
1. I arrived from the night train from Zurich-tired and unwashed at 8h, and was greeted with: Your room is ready now. Precious words indeed. 2. We arranged a UPS delivery, storage and collection- all so smooth and easy, with scissors and sticky tape available. 3. We changed the reservations by phone. Again, so easy and kind. We love Motel One and its wonderful staff! Thank you.
Attentive staff, cozy rooms
I had an excellent stay at Motel One in Graz. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a smile. Furkan checked me in and was very friendly, provided excellent service, and recommended an excellent restaurant serving Austrian food. I also worked with Viktoria. She was always very attentive and friendly - even though I asked her for help multiple times upon arriving. Everyone at the reception desk was friendly and helpful - but both Furkan and Viktoria went well above and beyond what I would have expected.

Having stayed at both Salzburg and Graz Motel Ones within the last few weeks, we noted the usual reliable value and quality levels but unfortunately poor and overpriced breakfast offerings. Motel One definitely needs to improve in this area.

Another great Motel One experience. No surprise, always same. I do not remember how many times I stayed in MotelOne hotels but they make me feel at home. I do not stay in any hotel other than MotelOne If there is a MotelOne in a city that I am travelling to. Highly recommended.
Sigue la línea de Motel One: hall super bonito, grande y cómodo y habitación básica (ni secador de pelo hay), pero correcta. El precio por perro y noche son 15€, pero no ofrecen ni siquiera una manta o un simple bebedero, lo que significa ganar dinero por ganar. Deberían trabajar este aspecto. Se supone que el pago es en concepto de limpieza, pero no pasan a limpiar cada día. Igualmente, la limpieza con o sin perro es la misma porque el personal de limpieza no dispone de más tiempo. Por esta parte es un abuso.
The location was amazing, but we were disappointed that the room is too small and doesn't have basic things what I expected from 4* hotel such as kettle and fridge.
Very stylish location next to the center of Graz. The only small points deduction is for the wheelchair accessible bathroom - sanitary facilities are installed too low, even for a small person.
The reservation process was inadequate. Booking from the website did not work, I then booked by email and got a much higher price than indicated on the website. Breakfast had to be paid extra. The price was too high. The slogan "like the price" was not suitable.

The room was clean, comfortable and nicely presented. The bar area was nice. Staff were pleasant. It would make a big difference if there were a couple of items added to the bar menu apart from sandwiches.

Everything was ok. The only bad things were the lack of options from the breakfast, and the noise made sometimes by the local transportation (which i know it is not avoidable).

Room 145: I was staying for only one night and was just in need of a restful and regenerating night sleep due to hard physical efforts the day before and the day after. (Tour de Mur) And your staff was very aware of this during check in. This is impossible to achieve in this room and no one should be charged full price for staying there without that warning! Beginning with 4.50 there are mini earthquakes every 5mins in the whole room. You can feel them lying in bed and even while sitting on the toilet. This is because of the street corner station of the tramway right in front of the window. Thanks for making my ride extra hard and uncomfortable for that day. You actually had only one job and you missed it.

Good service, very clean and comfortable, great location
This is a brilliant hotel in the heart of Graz with everything you need for your stay. Many rooms are bright, spacious and have pleasant views. Shops and cafes are right outside the hotel. At this price, you can’t get much better!
Lovely, friendly hotel with very courteous staff. Delicious breakfast. Would be good to have a flask or large mugs for hot drinks to be brought to the room as no kettles are available.

I must immediately praise their proactive approach, namely..we had reserved a room for 4 (2 adults and 2 children). When we arrived, they assigned us one room, with a double bed. We asked at the reception how we should be accommodated - of course, accommodation for four is not possible in such a room - and they immediately assigned us two connecting rooms. The upgrade was not charged, because there was obviously a mistake in their system. The rooms, bedding, and the rest are very clean. The beds are comfortable. Unfortunately, the breakfast is very, very basic. My wife is a vegetarian, so apart from a spread or two, and cucumbers and tomatoes, she didn't have much choice. OK, there were also yogurts and sweet pastries, but for vegetarians, this is not exactly the first choice. On the other hand, there were 5 or 6 types of salami to choose from. Completely unbalanced. The hotel does not offer fried eggs, which I think is the basis of every hotel. They were only soft-boiled, which in my case is never a choice. In short...the breakfast could have been much better. Overall: 9/10

Graz es la campeona de títulos en Austria. Ya en los años 70, esta metrópolis del estado federado de Estiria se ganó el apodo de «capital secreta de la literatura». El siguiente hito llegó en 2003, año en el que Graz fue nombrada oficialmente Capital Europea de la Cultura. En el año 2008, la segunda ciudad de Austria celebró su gran éxito culinario. Por fin puede adornar su nombre con el título de «capital gastronómica». Y no se habla de la capital del estado federado de Estiria solo por su cultura y su literatura: también tiene buena mano para el diseño. No en vano fue coronada en 2011 como «City of Design» por la empresa Creative Industry Styria. Graz debe su gran número de títulos a su animada escena creativa. Literatos, artistas, arquitectos y diseñadores: para los que quieran despertar su vena creativa, la ciudad de los títulos es el lugar idóneo.
Equilibrio entre tradición y modernidad
Casi ninguna metrópolis de Austria juega de una forma tan natural con la modernidad y la tradición como lo hace Graz. Allí se combina la arquitectura purista con el encanto histórico y se obtiene un resultado extraordinario.
¿Le apetece viajar en el tiempo hasta el siglo XIII? ¡Hecho! La torre del reloj atrasa la hora todo un siglo. Pero tenga cuidado: mirar la esfera del emblema de Graz puede crear confusión. ¿Cuál es el motivo? La enorme diferencia de tamaño entre las manecillas de la hora y el minutero siempre provoca miradas de asombro. Otra joya histórica es el castillo de Eggenberg. Desde 1625, esta construcción barroca caracteriza el aspecto urbano de Graz. Actualmente incluso se considera el complejo palaciego más grande y más relevante del estado federado de Estiria. Seguimos hasta la plaza del carillón, la Glockenspielplatz. En ella, una parejita vestida con el traje regional sale tres veces al día. Desde 1905, estas coloridas figuras bailan en lo más alto de la plaza al son de animadas melodías, desde la tradicional música austriaca de los Alpes hasta composiciones modernas y villancicos. Pero la idea que se escondía detrás de este carillón no era un mero entretenimiento: durante mucho tiempo sirvió como un truco de marketing. Y es que, con esta pequeña representación de baile, el fabricante de bebidas alcohólicas Gottfried Maurer, que era un hábil empresario, pretendía atraer a los clientes a su establecimiento situado en aquella plaza antaño llamada plaza Fliegelplatz.
Pero ya está bien de historia. Ahora es momento de hacer una incursión a la Graz moderna. A tan solo unos minutos a pie desde el casco histórico, el museo Kunsthaus Graz le dará la bienvenida. Este emblema purista de la ciudad llama la atención desde bien lejos. ¡Y no es de extrañar! Esta construcción de llamativo color azul contrasta notablemente con los tradicionales tejados rojos, ganándose el apodo cariñoso de «Friendly Alien». Desde 2003, este museo de arte contemporáneo presenta los hitos más importantes de las últimas cuatro décadas.
¿Le apetece ver una obra de arte arquitectónica rodeada de verde? Entonces merece la pena visitar la Murinsel. Esta construcción de acero con 47 m de longitud no promete demasiado. Se ha aposentado en medio del río Mur. Pero el artista estadounidense Vito Acconci no solo estuvo acertado en su ubicación, sino también en su diseño. Sus líneas orgánicas con el techo de cristal abovedado evocan conscientemente la sensual forma de una concha. Desde 2003, la moderna obra de cristal y acero es un popular centro de conciertos, teatro y exposiciones, y no sin razón.
