I don’t care for the carpet in the rooms and during hotter months a little fridge would be nice. That being said: the staff was absolutely lovely, my stay was a short one but I’ll make sure my next one will be with M1 again.

Habitación y limpieza muy bien. Servicio muy bien. Desayuno algo limitado… Hemos estado en otros Motel One (Warsaw, Vienna..) y tienen desayunos más completos, no parece que esté estandarizado a lo largo de la cadena.

I enjoyed my stay thoroughly, the room was very comfortable. My only 2 complaints are the TV and the AI Art on the wall. The TV would sometimes be a bit problematic, turning itself off for no reason. And a few more english entertainment focused channels wouldn't hurt The AI Art really was a shame, for a hotel chain that prides itself in Design the use of cheap looking AI Art definitely felt lazy and uninspired

The staff at this motel are top notch! Thomas the bar manager knows his craft. He is a great leader for the rest of the staff that we met; Elli, Miguel, Bes, and Samantha). When we come back to Cologne we will definitely stay here again. Thank you for all you do.

The stay was comfortable but the breakfast was not. The lounge was full of people (I think the seatings are not enough for the capacity of the hotel) - we had to wait in the line for half an hour. If we had known this, we would not pay for the breakfast earlier. Next time we will not go for breakfast.
Amazing check in experience, super nice and efficient!
Overall a very good stay which met my expectations. A couple of notes for improvement: - Tea and coffee facilitiies in-room or access to free tea and coffee as in most other hotels would be great - Bar service was very chaotic as the hotel was very busy - perhaps consideer additional staff on shift to improve this.
First time in this Motel One in Cologne. Smart business hotel close to the city center. A little bit too croweded at b'fast. But never the less as always with Motel One, good experience.
El hotel en general bien, la cama para mí hija no era una cama sino un sillón muy pequeño. En la recepción no hablaban en español, nos fue difícil entendernos. A la hora del desayuno no había mesas donde poder sentarnos.

Hotel is good, only the rooms are to warm and cooling wasn’t working. Opening windows for room at the front due to road sounds is not ideal.
Motel One: Best choice for my business trip all around Germany
very nice service, at the reception, during breakfast and cleaning. The breakfasts were very tasty, I'm a vegan and I had a wide selection of dishes. When there were no options, right after asking if they had more, it was immediately added. I didn't even have to say anything because I saw you reporting everything.

Very warm welcom by the receptionnist Manon providing us all the needed information. The room was very well soundproofed, beautiful and clean. We appreciated the beautiful bar to enjoy a dring by the end of the days and friendliness of the barman. A very good experience, hope to come back on day there, anyway I will recommend the hotel.

Very comfortable hotel, convenient location. Bright, clean rooms. High-quality taps in the bathroom. The only thing that caused inconvenience was the cold floor in the bathroom (we arrived on cold nights in September).

All was good except that the bathroom was not tidy, all the accessories were in the washbasin.

Nice and comfortable hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable room including king size bed ,large t.v. nice bathroom suite and added bonus of a safety deposit safe in the room..
Motel One Cologne-Waidmarkt is a really nice hotel, well situated either for a leisure visit or business in Cologne. Good sized rooms with comfortable beds, a very good breakfast and friendly, helpful staff.
I like the hotel, the style and the friendly staff in general. This time I had a room with a door that was quite difficult to close, there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom the first night and I didn’t get any warm water in the shower in the morning.
Very kind and helpful staff. however, when it came to getting the free breakfast the next day with the voucher that was provided through the App, I found out the voucher had vanished from the app and the staff didn’t want to provide me with the breakfast, only willing to grant a new voucher for the next stay. Fortunately, next to me was another guest who told me he had the same experience during his last stay. So I had to insist and finally got a free breakfast (for one person). I think the app is deliberately hiding the voucher after checking in, but there is no hint how to use a voucher.
Good Check-in, great and quiet room with a large bed and wonderful bathroom. Also the breakfast was well organized and complete.
The hotel had everything I needed for my stay there. Comfortable bed, clean room, television in the bar to watch the Soccer EM, good wine and an adequate breakfast. Centrally located. Helpful staff. I was only sad that no one could find out the source of the music that playson the television in the rooms with the aquarium screen saver. They tried, but no one seems to know this information.
Me ha gustado la habitación, sencilla pero con todo lo necesario. La cama muy cómoda, una buena ducha y pude descansar bien. Me gustó el cuidado en el desayuno y la calidad de los alimentos. He encontrado en falta un hervidor de agua para infusiones/te a mano.

El hotel está muy bien decorado y el personal es muy amable. Las habitaciones son un poco pequeñas y eche en falta en el desayuno huevos revueltos, bacon etc. pero en general muy bien
Aire acondicionado: o no funcionó bien, o estaba demasiado limitado. Imposible llegar a una temperatura adecuada (hacía calor fuera). AGUA -> eso sí es importante. Bien la botella de bienvenida el 1er día. Pero con temperaturas tan altas todos los días no se concibe que Motel One no suministre agua a sus clientes. Ni siquiera a los de MOTEL ONE REWARD. Desayuno: faltan HUEVOS REVUELTOS / BACON. Me parecen esenciales en un desayuno-buffet Por lo demás, todo redondo y bien

El diseño de nuestro hotel, ubicado en el barrio de Waidmarkt de Colonia, se inspira completamente en la colonia de culto «4711» y la proximidad del río Rin. Después de hacer el check-in, sumérjase en el agua gracias al mostrador de recepción con forma de ola... Obviamente, solo de forma simbólica. Aquí le recibirán obras de la serie de fotos «Kopfüber», que presentan una vista aérea desconocida de los buques de carga y los pasajeros que trabajan a diario en una de las vías fluviales más concurridas del mundo.
