Hotel and staff were excellent the room was very comfortable, only negative was there was limited counter space other than a very small unit that housed the tea and coffee making stuff. The hotel was as central to the city as you could be. Would stay there again when I return.
the overall stay for myself and my group was fine, with one notable exception. My son's (Nick Laws) and his girlfriends room. Upon retiring for the night on the Friday, 20th Feb, they discovered an excrement stain on the duvet! They were relocated to a new room upon reporting this to reception. They received a verbal apology from whoever was on reception, but nothing more. I wonder how this can be possible....a serviced room but your staff not noticing the excrement stain and presumably signing off the room as ready for occupancy. I would like some further explanation and perhaps more than a token apology.

1. Excellent customer service across all areas 2. The hotel and room was spotlessly clean 3. Within 10 min walk from train station 4. Very central 5. Excellent late night security to ensure those that should be in the hotel are the correct guests.
Everything was good. BOD very comfortable. Only downside was fire alarm went off Saturday morning but that was not your fault. Will stay again.

King size bed was two beds pushed together which was disappointing , fire alarm went off twice during the night and we could hear music from a bar nearby. I understand this is not their fault however i wish we were wanted and could prepare for outside noise
Rooms are as much as you need, Clean, tidy, organised, basic but decorated nicely compared to other hotels with higher expense. Very central location so it’s very convenient. Beds comfortable, For the price you can’t complain, probably won’t find better around thus

Motel one was clean and very centrally located. Price was great. Thick heavy curtains in the room blocked out all light, good for those who have had a long day travelling. The AC/heating was my favourite part. The room consistently stayed at the temperature I preferred. It was lovely to walk into the warmed up room during the winter months. Even when the room key stopped working, the night staff was so helpful and helped sort a replacement key. The security at night was a little brash when checking if those coming through the doors had a reason for being there. While it’s great to know the hotel took it seriously, a friendlier attitude probably could’ve been adopted.
Very nice hotel, room clean and comfortable. Great location too. The only downside was the price of the breakfast and what was on offer. £16.50 for a continental breakfast is madness, especially when you can go to blakes cafe at the end of the street and get a huge proper cooked breakfast for a few quid cheaper.
I love this hotel, it's smack in the town centre, great for all the bars, restaurant's and shops, if I was going to be picky it's the heat in the hotel it's very hot but the air con is to noisy for me to get to sleep. and bar is to expensive, other than that it's a great hotel.
I think you need to speak with your colleague Amber I would recommend your hotel, but only if your customer service improves and your team takes accountability against customer feedback (your reception staff let you down)
Fabulous especially for cost. Room ready before check in time so bonus. Friendly staff. Comfortable clean room. Location central. Cocktails amazing. Just couple little things that could be better. Lighting for doing make-up in room or bathroom. And no staff on bar at lunchtime for coffees and drinks. But would definitely stay again.
Clean, welcoming atmosphere and well looked after. Staff were all great. Hotel is in a brilliant location - few minutes walk from station and very central close to Monument Metro which gives easy access to the whole city.
Great location and very comfortable beds. Staff were friendly. Great shower. Only downsides were the noise of music from the neighbouring pubs/bars until early hours - we’ve stayed before and didn’t have any issues with noise last time (room 400 this time). The bathroom fan didn’t seem to work as the bathroom stayed steamy for hours and everything was wet with steam. A fridge and mugs instead of the plastic cups would have been ideal but understand the sustainability aspect of not having those.
Horrible night stay half sized pillows woke up with a sore neck mattress uncomfortable it was clean but the bed was terrible i left first thing in the morning

excellent for overnight stay. very friendly and efficient check in.Spotlessly clean and well resourced. Comfortable bed and bedding and small but well designed bathroom. would have benefitted from a bedside shelf and larger bath towels, although they were lovely and fluffy.

As ever, I had a relaxing and pleasant stay at Motel One. A real home from home.
My booking reference stated I had breakfast included. I showed it to the front desk and was told that it wasnt on their booking system so it wasnt included. They took no responsibility and just relied on "computer says no". I wont be using a Motel one again.

Lovely hotel, great location, very clean, breakfast was lovely and fresh produce but only continental, this wasn’t specified when booking, only reason I rated a 9 not 10.bar service after 11pm was very slow.

This was our 3rd stay. And unfortunately our worst. As we checked in the hall carpets wee been cleaned and the machine was louder than the TV so we had to get ready and head out instead of chilling. Did mention it to the reception staff but had no response Then early the next morning we were woken by staff outside the window talking loudly and the smell of cigarettes coming through the window. I got up and closed the window but could still hear the loud laughing and chatting. We were on floor 1 so sounded very loud . We understand cleaning and maintenance must be done but as the hotel seemed quiet we could of been out on a floor that wasn't having the carpets cleaned at that time!
