Mi pareja y yo hemos estado tres días alojados en este hotel y puedo decir que ha sido increíble, un hotel bien ubicado, habitaciones cómodas, el personal y muy muy muy amable, calidad precio la mejor sin duda
Hotel, ridiculously hot. Slept with window open. Reception gave me a fan - Terrible sleep - Pillows poor quality and drainage issues in bathroom. All colleagues had the same experience. We have decided we won't be back or recommend.
Lovely hotel, rooms adequate for my stay as a single person on a work trip. Breakfast good for what i was looking for before going to a work course all day. Staff very pleasant, helpful and friendly. Lovely stay, will happily book again.
Lovely hotel, fab location
The room was fine for one night but it was absolutely roasting (12th floor). There were also no cups in my room to use for water or the tea tray (I didn't ask for any as I was only staying one night). Not having a bin the actual room was strange. The staff member at breakfast was VISIBLY stressed about the coffee machine, a lot of sighing and audible annoyance as he tried to fix it.
First impressions, the bar and lobby looked nice. Queued for a while to check in despite already checking in online. This could be improved. The room was the smallest hotel room I’ve stayed in. Wasn’t impressed, would have asked to move rooms if staying longer than one night. Bathroom was and shower were small but again nice.
Stayed at hotel one a few times and each time had been great warm friendly staff and clean rooms
Rooms where great but the amount of dust on the bedside tables top of headboard and side wardrobe was terrible didn't look as it had been cleaned. Partner had to use her inhaler quite a bit as dust was irritating to point i wiped all the room down.
Great location staff brilliant
Lovely welcome from reception staff.
Friendly and ever so helpful staff, clean and comfy rooms and the perfect location to explore Glasgow.
The hotel in Glasgow is very clean, has a very aesthetically pleasing entrance area and bar, the decor in and out of rooms are lovely, staff are extremely friendly. My only issue was that it was a very warm day and evening, and although I turned the room thermostat to "off", the fan on the ceiling still blew hot air into the room. Couldn't sleep with the heat for both nights. Also, the gentleman serving in the bar with a bandana didn't have particularly diplomatic customer service. Asking what you would like whilst walking away, talking to customers about how this job is purely a "pay the bills" job and that he hopefully won't be there long, and having no knowledge of what is in cocktails when I asked about a few wasn't indicative of a great bar worker. Other than the one staffer and the broken thermostat, the stay was as brilliant as it has been before. Beds are very comfy, and I know I definitely would have slept soundly if the temperature was comfortable. Brilliant hotel.
the only reason i have given a 9 and not a 10 is the internet wasn't great. other than that the place was lovely, breakfast was good, staff excellent. there was an incident on the Thursday of my stay with the next room, i called the desk and they dealt with this immediately. The lady who came to deal with the incident also came back to check on me. then later that night escorted the police to my room to make a report, again the lady checked on me. I would happily stay again
excellent service/ nice spacious room, hospitable and helpful.
Sink in room was blocked. Towels provided are very small. Also noisy guests on the floor slamming doors
Good location for the city, friendly and helpful front of house team
The room was a bit hot I turned down the thermostat but it didn’t cool the room down had to open both windows to cool it. No biscuits on the tea tray which was a bit disappointing..
The hotel staff (front desk) were so warm and helpful. Extremely efficient and quick to answer any questions. We had a problem with a 3rd party booking and the knowledgable staff walked me through the solution and stayed with me until the problem was solved despite being extremely busy checking in other guests. This calm, helpful attitude will keep us returning again and again. Our room was incredible. Extremely comfortable beds and clean rooms. The lounge area in the lobby and bar area was fun but intimate. There was plenty of spaces to sit for drinks or open your laptop to complete some work. Thanks for making our stay so memorable.
Everything from checking in, to the room was great. Lovely buffet breakfast. This was my second time back the first was with a friend. I had a fair idea it would be great after my first experience so glad to say nothing has changed. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks
Excellent stay as always. Great service at check in Good choice of gluten free options at breakfast
First time in the hotel, and I was delighted as it was excellent. The hotel was lovely outside and inside. The decor is beautiful and it was really clean in the communal areas and the rooms. The beds were really comfy and the room was spotless. The shower isnt very powerful but its adequate. I love a cooked breakfast, but only a continental one was available, but everything on it was really fresh and plenty of choice, I would definitely stay here again. I must also reference the staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much bother. The conversation wasnt forced, they were genuinely chatty and interested in the guests, well done Motel One, a really great stay
Really friendly service, clean, well-appointed room, what I paid was excellent value for money
Very nice stay. Great location. Would have liked a cooked breakfast.
Excellent from checking in early thru to our departure friendly staff at desk with room having all amenities ( no fridge though ) Would highly recommend
En todos los hoteles de la cadena en el registro recibo una botella de agua, en este caso, aunque lo anuncian en las pantallas del mismo hotel, no la he recibido.
Angenehmer Aufenthalt, fußläufig zu Glasgow Central Station, freundliches Personal, gepflegtes Ambiente
Stayed here a few times. Very helpful staff lovely clean and comfy room
Perfect stay, apart from the weather, but you can’t do much about that.
Due to a new booking system, it wasn't recorded accurately that I required an accessible bathroom due to a disability. So I had to call down and get them to change it, then come up and give me the key and take me to my new room. Later, having a shower before bed, I realised too late that the shower chair which is usually screwed into the wall, was missing. There were just holes in the wall where it should have been. This was a disaster for me and meant completing the shower was very painful. Coming out of the bathroom I also noticed the red emergency pull cord by the side of the bed was tucked around and on top of the wardrobe. I couldn't reach it, so I knew this could be a huge problem if I required assistance. Even though it was the middle of the night, the woman on duty brought me a chair, and managed to untuck and then fully extend the red emergency pull cord for me, which gave me a lot of reassurance. She then showed me how to use it and reset it if I knock it by accident. I was very grateful she was able to come up so quickly.
Great location and fabulous staff. Room was spacious and a great view over the airy. Good discount for Ncp car park nearby
Gutes Hotel im Zentrum Glasgows. Gute, zentrale Lage, saubere Zimmer, ruhig. Freundliches Personal und im Parkhaus nebenan kann man für 9 GBP pro Nacht parken, wenn man im Hotel übernachtet. Würde ich nochmal buchen.
Two of us stayed for one night. Paid for slightly bigger room. Very nice stay, nice room. Very central but still quiet.
Great location. Staff very engaging. The rooms are spacious and modern.
Good value for money, great location, clean, well maintained rooms, lovely bar/reception area
Unfortunately did not enjoy my stay this time this was purely down to noise - particularly a DOG barking on and off for hours clearly had been left alone in the room. Also someone screaming their head off and basically thumping about in the early hours of the morning. There was also someone running about banging on doors again in the early hours.
Clean, friendly staff, would have preferred ceramic cups. Loved the sheep!
A marvellous modern hotel with a fine bar for watching the world go by. ONe fault with the bar though - no draught beer? Why? We had a room on the top floor with tremendous views across the rooftops. Spacious and comfortable - except for the first night when the ircon / heating didn't work. The room was very cold. Resolved for our second night though.
check in very easy, staff very helpful as I booked inearly
Excellent hotel right in the heart of Glasgow. I had to amend my booking as I discovered I had a funeral to attend. Staff were excellent in facilitating the change.
Reception check in was greeted by a very happy, helpful person. Room was fantastic. Bar was great although card machine was down (so cash only).....overall brilliant value for the location......However...it went seriously downhill the next day when I woke up and went down for my pre-ordered breakfast....costing £14.50. So looking forward to a nice hot, Scottish Breakfast...to find it was just a buffet....with not really that much to offer (great if you are European and used to this).......so when I booked, it was not clear that it was only a buffet....as certainly would not have paid the outrageous sum of £14.50...!!!, when you could walk 100 yards across the road to Wetherspoons and get a large full cooked breakfast for £7.53..!!!! So top marks for everything......but 1/10 for the "breakfast"....and will never order this again when staying.
Reception area is lovely and location is really central Room was really small, no dressing table just a full length mirror so had to sit on the floor to do hair and make up, not ideal. Shower made a screeching noise when turned on and heating wouldn't work at night, only in the morning.
Very courteous. I forgot to take toothbrush and last and they supplied it FOC. Great service there.
The reception area and bar are beautiful, staff were very pleasant. On the booking form I requested a high room with a city or trainline view. We got a room on the 2nd floor with a view looking directly into an abandoned building. Room and bathroom tiny and basic (for the price) but clean and practical. Lots of outside noise but we took ear plugs so managed to sleep alright.
Lovely reception and bar area. Bedroom was VERY small. It was difficult to store suitcases and move around room. Lack of desk/ power points for laptop/ chargers. Single lift call button caused problems stopping lift going up when wanting to go down.
Room was booked to allow me to stay at a work event, the hotel was in a great location. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the breakfast had a perfect choice for a quick bite to eat before work.
Hotel was in a great location. Very modern and clean. Quiet never heard any other guests once in our room. Disappointed in not getting free water despite this being advertised. Would have prefered the view to be at the other side of the hotel but thays wasnt a huge issue. Would definetly stay again.
Bed and pillows were SOOO comfy, excellent sleep. Heating was easy to control and understand. Clean room and well services. Staff all very polite and helpful
Perfect experience, faultless stay.
Switch on. beOne.
