Wir waren für einen Kurztripp in Dublin und fanden, dass das Motel One ein idealer Standort war, von dem aus man perfekt die Stadt erkunden konnte.
Superbe chambre, très bien équipée. Wifi excellent, service de réception très bon. Emplacement idéal pour visiter la ville à pied. Il faisait bon dans l’hôtel et surtout pas de bruit. Je recommande
Hôtel hyper bien situé, les chambres étaient très calmes, le personnel adorable et arrangeant (réception, bar le soir et petit déjeuner), notre avion étant très tôt le jour du départ nous n'avons pas pu prendre notre petit-déjeuner et on nous a préparé des encas à emporter. Le seul point un peu négatif c'est certains emplacements du petit-déjeuner qui ne sont pas très pratiques ou confortables (tables basses) les tables hautes sont prises d'assaut

Motel One is ideally situated in the city and close to 2 great music venues in The Grand Social and The Academy. It's close to Henry Street and O'Connell Street for all of your shopping needs. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The place is always spotless and the rooms are very clean and you couldn't ask for more than that.

Fab hotel great location lovely easy check in couldn't fault the place.. just not a fan of drinking t from a paper cup and no glasses in bathroom
LOVED this hotel! Only one minor issue-NO STORAGE! No dresser, nothing but two tiny shelves. We stayed 4 nights and it was challenging staying organized in such a small room with no storage anywhere. That being said, i would stay again. The beds were AMAZING, the location was AMAZING, and it was so quiet at night for sleeping.

The rooms are small but extremely well organized and have all the amenities you need in places that have been well-thought out. Everything is clean, but also importantly feels clean. The staff are great, and the location can't be beat.

Very friendly, smiley reception staff. Great location, very central, overlooking Ha’penny Bridge and very close to the Henry Street shopping area. Deluxe King Room and bathroom on 5th floor was very small - hence the rating of 7 - but for a short city getaway ok, elevator was very slow!!
Perfect location, great rooms, and excellent facilities. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were cosy and quiet, which is not that common in the city center of Dublin :) Everything was within walking distance. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, and this is going to be my first choice next time I am in Dublin.

Der Preis ist angemessen, das Empfangspersonal sehr freundlich. Die Klobürste war verdreckt und als BeOne Member zu zweit eine Flasche Wasser für vier Tage zu bekommen ist absolut lächerlich. Die Flasche muss man auch noch mit einem Gutschein abholen. Dann lieber ganz lassen.

Mein Man und ich haben 3 Nächte über das Wochenende bei Euch gewohnt. Das Frühstück war zwar sehr vielfältig jedoch hat mein Man etwas Warmes, wie z. B. Rühreier und Baked Beans vermisst.

Truly lovely hotel and lovely staff. The rooms are beautiful, only thing missing was a phone in the room. I had to email reception as I wasn’t dressed and needed a hairdryer. Other than that stellar service and experience.

Great Location, so central to everything. Very Clean and friendly and a great 24hr bar... Only marked the room down a notch as the bed could do with a new mattress...!! Mattress has lost shape and makes it uncomfortable. Slope on both sides of bed from all previous guests. However we really enjoyed stay and would return again!!
Das Hotel liegt super. Schöne, ruhige und sehr saubere Zimmer, nettes Frühstück und überaus freundliche Mitarbeitende. Alles ist sehr gut organisiert, vom Check in über den Service beim Frühstück bis zum Check Out. Ich habe mich rundum wohl gefühlt.

Die Lage war perfekt. Das Zimmer nicht so gross, obwohl ich ein grösseres reserviert / und auch bezahlt habe. Das Bett war nur 160 , statt wie erwähnt 180. Etwas schmal zuweit, wenn man kein Paar ist. Das Badezimmer wie immer Motel one. Was wirklich fehlt, sind 2 Gläser im Badezimmer für die Zahnbürste.

El hotel está muy bien situado, cerca de todo y en una calle tranquila. La decoración es preciosa y los trabajadores muy amables. Las habitaciones son un poco pequeñas, pero nuevas y limpias y disponen de todo lo que necesitas. El baño está muy bien. Te obsequian con una botella de agua, lo cual se agradece. El bar es muy bonito y está abierto 24h. El desayuno es correcto, sin más. En mi opinión, le falta oferta de comida caliente. En definitiva, un lugar muy recomendable.
Staff at reception, on the bar and doing the cleaning were all great - welcoming, friendly, helpful. Impressive! Room beautifully clean. Enough hangers - thank you. The rooms are good value at this time of year (November), but not in April/May, when I stay elsewhere. Good location for city centre. BUT - Only two lifts working which meant a long wait at times (at one point only one lift working, which was even worse). Had to add 5 mins onto journey times getting to meetings! Staff apologising.... - Cheap soap and the crappy cheap dispensers don't work - do better please! Particularly annoying in shower. Unripe bananas and elderly totally unjuicy oranges in your fruitbowl at breakfast. The worst orange I've ever been presented with at a hotel. Is anyone actually reading this?!

Was goofball around, some male desk staff seems to have either a language barrier or a bad attitude. Also, it would be great if the lobby door at night operated correctly. My card scanned green but door did not open, I have to knock on the window to get someone's attention to get key back inside. Had a great coffee in the bar and the following day the bartender just reheated some coffee he had.

I had an amazing experience thanks to two incredible employees: Stacy and Illia. From the moment I checked in, they both went out of their way to make sure my stay was perfect. Stacy is genuinely one of the hardest-working and most friendly people I’ve ever met at a hotel. She’s always smiling, quick to help. Illia was just as impressive — professional, attentive, and always willing to assist with anything I needed. His customer service skills are top-tier and made everything smooth and stress-free.
Absolutely beautiful hotel, the design is fab and so perfect for a book lover like me!! The wall art in our room was beautiful! Location is amazing if you’re looking to be in the centre of Dublin! Only thing is no parking, there’s car parks nearby but we spent nearly €60 on parking for one night!

Bis heute gilt „The Dubliners“ als ein Meisterwerk der irischen Literatur. Doch auch andere Dichter*innen und Denker*innen waren Irlands ganzem Charme hoffnungslos verfallen – ob Jonathan Swift, Sean O’Casey, Oscar Wilde oder Samuel Beckett. So hat sich Dublin seinen UNESCO-Titel „City of Literature“ redlich verdient.
Harry Potter lässt grüßen
Schmale Winkelgassen, urige Pubs, gotische Kirchen – Dublins Altstadt wirkt wie aus einem Harry-Potter-Film entnommen. Gerade das Trinity College sieht Hogwarts zum Verwechseln ähnlich. Seit 1592 thront die renommierte Universität im Herzen der irischen Hauptstadt und hat seither so manchen Kreativkopf hervorgebracht – von Jonathan Swift über Oscar Wilde bis hin zu Samuel Beckett. Wie viele Stunden sie wohl im Long Room Bücher gewälzt haben? Aber bestimmt sind die jungen Studenten nicht nur zum Lernen in den altehrwürdigen Teil der Trinity-Bibliothek gekommen. Buche eine geführte Tour durch den Long Room und freue dich auf witzige Anekdoten aus dem Studentenleben von Oscar Wilde und Co.
Genauso wohl wie am Trinity College würde sich Harry Potter in Temple Bar fühlen. In dem quirligen Viertel mit den schmalen Kopfsteinpflaster-Gassen zeigt sich Dublin in Feierlaune. Hier reiht sich ein Irish Pub an das andere. Und das Beste: Abends werden die typisch irischen Kneipen zur Konzertbühne. Denn zu traditioneller Livemusik schmeckt das Guinness doch gleich viel besser.
Apropos Guinness: Wer eine Schwäche für das irische Starkbier hat, besser bekannt als Stout, darf sich einen Besuch im Guinness Museum nicht entgehen lassen. Lasse 250 Jahre Biergeschichte Revue passieren und lerne das kulinarische Herzstück Dublins noch besser kennen. Und nach der Theorie kommt natürlich die Praxis. Lasse den Museumsbesuch bei einem kühlen Guinness in der Gravity Bar ausklingen und genieße ganz nebenbei den atemberaubenden Blick über die Stadt – Sláinte!
Nun aber zurück zu Dublins schönsten Harry-Potter-Kulissen: St. Patrick’s Cathedral darf natürlich nicht auf der Bestenliste fehlen. Ihrem Namensgeber haben wir schließlich dem berühmten St. Patrick’s Day zu verdanken, den wir jedes Jahr gebührend am 17. März feiern – in der irischen Nationalfarbe Grün versteht sich. Der Legende nach wurde Dublins Nationalkapelle nach dem Vorbild einer kleinen Kapelle aus dem fünften Jahrhundert errichtet, in der Saint Patrick damals persönlich die Menschen mit heiligem Quellwasser taufte. Genug Geschichtskunde? In dem kleinen Park direkt neben der St. Patrick’s Cathedral lässt es sich wunderbar entspannen.
