Room very clean, reception friendly and great seating and bar downstairs !
Our stay was very pleasant and all staff were very helpful and always friendly. I would recommend and I will be going back.
Hotel fantastic Staff were so nice and ao helpful ,could not do enough. We have our own bar and the staff here would teach a lot to others in the industry how to treat people. It was a joy location decor rooms ,a really enjoyable stay

Really great experience and have stayed here a few times already. I come to Dublin for work so stay regularly but will continue to stay at Motel One as the staff are great, really friendly and helpful and the hotel is comfortable and has everything that is needed. The only reason i scored 9 is due to the fact the tvs dont have a cast/screenshare option so as to watch the likes of netflix etc. something very small but something that is missing from the rooms in comparison to other hotels and the Guinness I had in the bar was not great. Other than that, perfect stay. Thanks
Eine ruhige Übernachtung in einem klassischem Motel One Zimmer. Das Hotel liegt optimal in Dublin City.
The staff were so kind and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the proximity of the hotel to major attractions in Dublin (Trinity College, Grafton Street, etc). The breakfast was excellent, and overall, our entire experience there was really good!

Wonderful experience from the moment we arrived Aoife on check-in was very friendly. The room had a beautiful view of the halpenny bridge. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The hotel is just perfect for a city break slap bang in the centre of the city.

Excellent hotel, very central. Just a 5 min walk from Temple bar and rest of the city. Hotel was quite so was able to get some sleep and rest. Rooms were extremely clean lovely bathroom. Only criticism is there is not much storage space in the rooms if your are sharing. Reception staff were freindly and we are able to leave our luggage on check out to make the most of our last day in Dublin without carrying suticase with us. Wifi was really fast. The hotel is few minutes walk from the half penny bridge so a very short walk to Temple Bar and Trinity college. Over all 5 stars

in winter-time (January) the relation between price and service is good. The hotel overall has a GREAT location -- it is really located in what you can call the center of Dublin and most attractions can be reached within minutes per foot. The rooms are quiet as they all face inwards into a kind of court-yard. The interior is functional yet to my understanding a bit too minimalistic. 1. there is no refrigerator (mini-bar) so you cannot e.g. store small items that need to be kept cold. (in my opinion a mini refrigerator is more important than a televison-set); 2. cloth-hangers, cupboards are a bit too minimal. There are only boards hanging on the wall, very spartanic and not very practical. it would be more efficient to fit the rooms with larger cloth hangers and store spaces. the room size is big enough to acomplish this. Apart from that the hotel is really recommendable. friendly staff and a 24h reception desk. will definately come back to Dublin again, however currently the price discrepency between winter and summer is unacceptable - in summer the rates go up to 3 times of winter rates. As there is never a weatehr guarantee in Dublin (and heating - operatin the hotel in winter should technically be more expensive than in summer) i don't accept such differences. But again, a very suitable hotel in one of the best locations of Dublin! off topic : during my last stay in Dublin (which was a different hotel) i came across MotelOne by chance and one of your staff members (Mrs Jadine Daly) showed me around the house and encouraged me to come back to Dublin in January, which i did, and stayed for 11 nights.

Inexpensive, friendly & helpful staff. The rooms are advertised as 'cozy', and while petite, are perfectly comfortable. Bed & pillow good, good hot water & pressure in the shower. Joining the 'club' allows you to have self-checkin and load your room key to your phone's Wallet, although you still can check in and get physical keys. Check in and checkout were both a snap. Get this: 24 hour resident bar! Very central, good location. Price was unbeatable (mid-week in February). I'll be back.

3e fois dans cet Motel One. L'expérience est devenue à chaque visite pire. Cette fois-ci: 1. chambre Special One avec une odeur désagréable pertinente (de vomis?) venant du tapis/de la moquette. On a dû acheter une bouteille de Febreze et un déodorisant d'air pour dégager l'odeur. 2. douche avec pas beaucoup de pression d'eau, difficile de laver des cheveux longs. 3. la porte d'entrée centrale de l'hôtel est fermée normalement le soir après une certaine heure et on doit normalement juste scanner sa carte de chambre pour qu'elle s'ouvre. Cette fois-ci pendant tout le week-end, la porte restait fermée, on a dû sonner (le soir ou au milieu de la nuit) et attendre dehors dans le beau temps irlandais, c'est à dire pluie, vent et froid, jusqu'à ce quelqu'un du personnel vienne vous ouvrir. 4. en rentrant la nuit, dans un ascenceur, il y avait du vomis par terre et le mirroir sale et mouillé Ce fait je l'ai signalé l'instant même à la réception qu'il envoie qqn pour nettoyer. Le problème de la porte, j'ai aussi signalé à chaque entrée mon mécontement, le problème de l'odeur de la chambre, le jour d'arrivée, on n'a rien dit et pas réclamé dans l'espouir qu'elle se dégage avec les fenêtres grandes ouvetes, car pas envie et pas de temps de redescendre à la réception, attendre dans la file, signaler un défaut, déménager dans une autre chambre, etc. Mais personnel de nuit du bar très professionnel, aimable et compétent! Pour le reste ce Motel One n'est malheureusement plus à la hauteur d'un Motel One en Allemagne, Barcelone, Bruxelles, Zürich ou autre que j'aime bien fréquenter régulièrement.
A beautiful hotel in the perfect location for our trip to Dublin. Lovely room, great facilities, delicious breakfast and all the staff were always happy to help. We will definitely be back.

Gemütlicher, schicker Bar-u Essbereich Frühstück top - immer reichlich und gut, es wurde auch permanent wieder aufgefüllt und auch recht lange Zeiten zum Verweilen und Genießen. Sehr gut sortierte Bar! Lage ebenfalls TOP (super zentral!) - ca 100m bis zur Ha'penny Bridge und 5 Min bis Tempelbar. Zimmer sauber und gemütlich.... Alles in Lediglich ein kleiner Stern-Abzug (...ein Halber würde auch ausreichen), weil die Zimmer ziemlich klein und eng sind, aber das ist in Dublin ja ziemlich normal... Vielen Dank an das durchweg wirklich sehr freundliche Personal!!! Motel One - egal wo - ist immer empfehlenswert!!!!!!!!
Booked direct for a great price. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Hotel well located. Received room key via the app so did not need to check in on arrival. Would def return in the future.
Alles in allem hat mir dieses Motel One nicht so gefallen wie andere Häuser. Die Lobby ist mir zu dunkel, die Bar empfand ich als wenig einladend und das erste Mal habe ich eine für mein Empfinden durchgelegene Matratze in einem Ihrer Häuser vorgefunden (Zi. 508).
Sehr sauberes Hotel in perfekter Lage. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir konnten bereits um 12:30 Uhr einchecken. Preis-Leistung top. Gerne wieder. Nur ein ganz kleiner Kritikpunkt. Wir mussten nachts klingeln und ca. 1 - 2 Minuten bis zur Öffnung der Türe warten.

So hat sich Dublin seinen UNESCO-Titel „City of Literature“ redlich verdient.
Harry Potter lässt grüßen
Schmale Winkelgassen, urige Pubs, gotische Kirchen – Dublins Altstadt wirkt wie aus einem Harry-Potter-Film entnommen. Gerade das Trinity College sieht Hogwarts zum Verwechseln ähnlich. Seit 1592 thront die renommierte Universität im Herzen der irischen Hauptstadt und hat seither so manchen Kreativkopf hervorgebracht – von Jonathan Swift über Oscar Wilde bis hin zu Samuel Beckett. Wie viele Stunden sie wohl im Long Room Bücher gewälzt haben? Aber bestimmt sind die jungen Studenten nicht nur zum Lernen in den altehrwürdigen Teil der Trinity-Bibliothek gekommen. Buche eine geführte Tour durch den Long Room und freue dich auf witzige Anekdoten aus dem Studentenleben von Oscar Wilde und Co.
Genauso wohl wie am Trinity College würde sich Harry Potter in Temple Bar fühlen. In dem quirligen Viertel mit den schmalen Kopfsteinpflaster-Gassen zeigt sich Dublin in Feierlaune. Hier reiht sich ein Irish Pub an das andere. Und das Beste: Abends werden die typisch irischen Kneipen zur Konzertbühne. Denn zu traditioneller Livemusik schmeckt das Guinness doch gleich viel besser.
Apropos Guinness: Wer eine Schwäche für das irische Starkbier hat, besser bekannt als Stout, darf sich einen Besuch im Guinness Museum nicht entgehen lassen. Lasse 250 Jahre Biergeschichte Revue passieren und lerne das kulinarische Herzstück Dublins noch besser kennen. Und nach der Theorie kommt natürlich die Praxis. Lasse den Museumsbesuch bei einem kühlen Guinness in der Gravity Bar ausklingen und genieße ganz nebenbei den atemberaubenden Blick über die Stadt – Sláinte!
Nun aber zurück zu Dublins schönsten Harry-Potter-Kulissen: St. Patrick’s Cathedral darf natürlich nicht auf der Bestenliste fehlen. Ihrem Namensgeber haben wir schließlich dem berühmten St. Patrick’s Day zu verdanken, den wir jedes Jahr gebührend am 17. März feiern – in der irischen Nationalfarbe Grün versteht sich. Der Legende nach wurde Dublins Nationalkapelle nach dem Vorbild einer kleinen Kapelle aus dem fünften Jahrhundert errichtet, in der Saint Patrick damals persönlich die Menschen mit heiligem Quellwasser taufte. Genug Geschichtskunde? In dem kleinen Park direkt neben der St. Patrick’s Cathedral lässt es sich wunderbar entspannen.
