Everything was great!
Wonderful staff, accommodations were clean and well organized, location was perfect for seeing the sites without having to drive.

10 euros per hour, max 2 hours for an extended checkout. RUDE. Especially after a week stay. Room needs a Mini fridge. Excellent staff, decent quiet room, good bed. Tv that turns on automatically when you turn on power is nuisance. Thank you for use of umbrella.
Breakfast should be way better and more different stuff to have there available.

Thanks a lot! It was an incredible stay. The location was fantastic, and I could easily walk to almost every place I wanted to visit. The view from my room into the park in front of the hotel was simply breathtaking. The staff at the hotel was incredibly friendly, from the receptionist to the guys at breakfast and the room cleaners. Breakfast was served for a long time, until 11 AM, and was delicious. Everything in the hotel was spotless. One of the highlights of my stay, even despite the terrible weather, was the rooftop terrace overlooking Barcelona. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
El hotel es muy bonito y me he encontrado súper a gusto viajando con mi perra. Acceso al parking directamente desde el hotel. Habitación un poco pequeña y sin amenities.

Hotel Lage gut, Aussicht auf den Park schön, Zimmer zu klein und zu wenig Ablage, wenn man länger dort ist, Betten angenehm und mal nicht durchgelegen, Frühstück ist relativ einfallslos, dafür der Kaffee sehr lecker. Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.
The room was really small... with no tea or coffee making facility either. Only space for our suitcases on the floor with minimal space for packing of clothes. Disappointed.
Sehr entspannt, toller Ausblick, ruhige Lage, feinstes Frühstück! Leider konnte man die Türen in den Toiletten bei der Lobby nicht absperren. Das fand ich unangenehm.

Es war wie zu erwarten ein sehr toller Aufenthalt in einem Motel One. Vom Empfang über den Room-Service bis zu Verabschiedung sehr engagiert. Das wir als Familie auch noch die Zwei Zimmer mit einer Verbindungstür erhalten haben, war noch eine fantastische Überraschung. Wir werden auch in Zukunft wieder im Motel One übernachten.

Wie immer sehr schön. Allerdings hatten wir ein Zimmer mit Terrasse gebucht und eigentlich erwartet, dass es ein Zimmer zur Dachterrasse wäre. Stattdessen war das Zimmer im ersten Stock. Hier wäre mehr Transparenz bei der Buchung wünschenswert.
Alles sehr Gut, nur das Zimmer könnte ein paar Quadratmeter mehr haben, da es mit 2 Koffer schon sehr eng wurde. die Matratze war nicht mehr die neuste aber noch brauchbar und ok bequem.
Great location, room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially I forgot a very small jewelry bag in the safety box, hotel found it and arranged agency to send it back to me in Switzerland. Excellent team work and management!
I had a pleasant stay at Motel One Ciutadella Barcelona. The staff was genuinely great—friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, specially Mila at the breakfast. The room was quite clean and well maintained, which made the stay comfortable. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its excellent location, making it easy to explore the city and get around Barcelona. On the downside, the room was quite small and didn’t offer much in terms of equipment or amenities. The view from the room was also not particularly impressive. Additionally, while the breakfast was decent, it lacked variety and could definitely be more creative. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a short stay if you value cleanliness, service, and location, but it may feel limited if you’re looking for more space or a richer in-room and breakfast experience.

Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick auf den Park, aus der 7. Etage hört man den Straßenlärm wenig, besonders bei geschlossenem Fenster. Zimmer und Bad ein wenig klein. Bequeme Betten. Frühstück gut für ein 3-Sterne-Hotel, könnte ein bisschen abwechslungsreicher sein. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis über Silvester natürlich nicht so gut. Toll, dass es an Silvester Cava und Trauben gab. Super Lage, man kann viel zu Fuß erkunden und auch Busse und Metro sind gut zu erreichen. Restaurant Ciutadella nebenan ist sehr empfehlenswert. Personal beim Frühstück ausgesprochen freundlich.
Ich war über Silvester in Barcelona und habe wie gewünscht ein Zimmer auf der obersten Etage erhalten. Bedingt durch einen frühen Rückflug wurde mir 1 Frühstück erstattet. Vielen Dank.
Motel one è stata una vera sorpresa! Molto accogliente la location e disponibile e preparato il personale, sempre pronto a cercare la soluzione migliore per ogni necessità. Le camere pulitissime e la colazione completa e resa con prodotti di qualità. Attenti anche a chi come me tante cose non le può mangiare! La hall a dir poco strepitosa allestita con gusto che trasmette tranquillità, un grande spazio dove sentirsi a casa :)

es war sehr schön. Schade war, dass wir abends oder früh am Morgen oft vor verschlossener Tür aufs Dach standen. Das hätten wir gerne mehr genossen

Lo tengo como hotel de referencia en mis estancias en Barcelona. Cómodo, moderno y bien comunicado. El trato del personal es muy agradable.
The location is amazing, with most major tourist attractions within a 20-minute walk. The apartment is very clean, modern, and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is located right across from a beautiful park, and the Arc de Triomf is just a one-minute walk away. A metro station is also only a few minutes away on foot, which makes getting around the city very easy. We stayed during the New Year celebrations and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was, with no party crowds. The neighborhood is calm and not a party area, making it perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The only minor downside was that although the room had a window, it faced a white hotel wall, as the room was located on the inner side of the building. This was simply how the room was assigned to us and did not affect our stay overall.

Meine Frau und ich haben keine gravierende Kritik, meine Schwiegermutter, die in einem Einzelzimmer auf einem Parallel-Flur untergebracht war, berichtete allerdings, dass es dort bis in die Nacht teilweise sehr hellhörig und entsprechend laut war.

Vielen Dank für den sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Das Zimmer war super ruhig, sauber und es gab gute Pflegeprodukte im Badezimmer sowie angenehm dicke Duschtücher. Toll fanden wir den großen, schön möblierten Aufenthaltsraum. Das Frühstück war gut.

Es war alles sehr gut , außer das fehlen einer Minibar auf dem Zimmer und das beim Frühstück einfach zu wenig und zu langsam alles aufgefüllt wird und man echt eher darum kämpfen muss was zu bekommen . Lage Top , kommen gerne wieder.

Hotel muy bien ubicado, amplio, moderno, acogedor y funcional. Equipo de la recepción nota 10. Habitaciones un poco pequeñas para una pareja, pero adecuado al precio. Eché de menos tomas electricas o de USB y algo de espacio para almacenamiento de la ropa, necesario cuando la estancia es algo larga (más de 3 días). Lo que definitivamente no me gusta es la moqueta en las habitaciones. No me parece higiénico.

Accueil chaleureux et hôtel très propre, très bien décoré, très bien placé pour notre escapade Séjour avec notre fils en fauteuil, hôtel avec parking et place pmr. Dans notre cas , une chaise de douche plus large , plus stable aurait été plus rassurante . L’hôtel n’est pas responsable mais pourrait rappeler à sa clientèle, qu’elle n’es pas seule à dormir dans celui ci … les cris et pleurs des enfants pour l’ascenseur, les gens qui crient également… très irrespectueux mais encore une fois , indépendant de l’hôtel

Günstige Designhotels in Barcelona – dein Motel One
Barcelona ist nicht nur die zweitgrößte Stadt Spaniens und Hauptstadt Kataloniens, sondern hat auch architektonisch, kulinarisch und kulturell jede Menge zu bieten. Das wohl bekannteste Bauwerk der Stadt ist die Sagrada Família, die etwas außerhalb des unmittelbaren Zentrums liegt. Die römisch-katholische Basilika des weltbekannten Architekten Antoni Gaudí wird seit 1882 gebaut und soll erst 2026 fertiggestellt werden. Das Gebäude überstrahlt im Stil des Modernismus alle umliegenden Bauwerke und gilt als Wahrzeichen Barcelonas.
Die Sagrada Família ist bei Weitem nicht das einzige Meisterwerk von Gaudí. Der Architekt hat das Stadtbild wie kein anderer geprägt und hat unter anderem auch den Park Güell und die Casa Milà entworfen. Während der weitläufige Park Güell mit seinem Terrassenplatz zum Flanieren und Verweilen einlädt, ist die Casa Milà mit ihrer Beton-Eisen-Konstruktion und der auffälligen Fassade eine weitere architektonische Meisterleistung Gaudís.
Barcelonas Altstadt liegt unweit unseres Hotels und ist von unzähligen verwinkelten Straßenzügen, alten Häusern im spanischen Stil und Tapasbars an jeder Ecke geprägt. Besonders die Stadtteile Raval, Ciutat Vella und Gràcia sowie das Barrio Gotico laden zum Spazierengehen und Entdecken ein.
Unbestrittener Mittelpunkt des Geschehens in Barcelona ist allerdings die mehr als 1,2 Kilometer lange Promenade Las Ramblas. Sie verbindet den Hafen mit der zentralen Plaça de Catalunya und ist für ihre unzähligen Cafés, Restaurants, Straßenkünstler*innen und Geschäfte bekannt. Hier befindet sich auch der berühmte Mercat de la Boqueria, in dessen Markthallen frisches Obst und Gemüse, Fleischwaren, Fisch und Süßwaren angepriesen werden. Der Ramblas folgend, gelangst du direkt ans Meer und kannst einen der vier Hauptstrandbereiche Barceloneta, Icària, Mar Bella oder Sitges aufsuchen. Die Strände liegen teilweise etwas außerhalb des Zentrums, sind aber vom Designhotel aus mit dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr gut zu erreichen.
