It was perfect.
Excellent as always. Totally reliable and very nice breakfast. Very high-quality staff working very hard to clear tables and replenish food. As always, my go to place in Vienna.

Dear Motel One Vienna Team, I am writing to share my disappointment with the way my lost mobile phone case has been handled. Despite several emails and repeated follow-ups, I received no concrete response from your team. Though Mr. Deni confirmed over phone that the hotel had found my device and assured me of a call back to explain the process of shipping it, I never received any further communication. I even shared both my India and Europe addresses as requested, but no update was provided thereafter. Due to this lack of support, I am now returning to India from Prague without my mobile phone, which has caused me significant inconvenience. I truly expected better responsiveness and assistance from a reputed hotel like Motel One. I still request you to please share the next steps immediately so that my phone can be shipped to me without further delay. Check-in (from 3 PM) and check-out (by noon) times are standard, and it’s great that the reception is staffed 24/7. However, it would really improve the experience if there were at least two people on duty in the lobby during those busy periods because waiting in line with only one staff member can be slow.
I am a regular customer- the staff is very friendly and the bar area is nice. Would love to have a coffee possibility in the room.
Great place to stay. Close to the HBahnhof and then only a short U-bahn ride to the old town. Room was comfortable and clean.

Very disappointed with my stay at Motel One. The family room was dirty (hair on the floor) and the sofa bed was broken, causing my son back pain. Staff “fixed” it with tape, then gave us an extra room, only to give that room away the next day without telling us. My son’s toothbrush was left inside, and staff were unhelpful and rude, especially the receptionist Mariam. No apology, no gesture, no professionalism. Even my follow-up email complaint was ignored. Poor cleanliness, broken facilities, rude service, and zero customer care. Definitely would not recommend.

Found my favorite room: 16.10. The young men who helped me at the frontvdesk were both excellent. The late afternoon barman made me two delicious mojitos. Motel One Wien Hbf remains my no. 1 choice for convenience and comfort.
I enjoyed my stay very much. The location was excellent: very convenient for main station, airport and city centre connections. My room on the 14th floor was comfortable with small but good bathroom. Value for money!

Dear Motel One Customer Service Team, I am writing to express my surprise and disappointment regarding an incident that occurred during my recent visit. On 02nd August, at around 12:08 p.m., I inadvertently left a newly purchased pack of detergent sheets on a chair at the bar. Later that day, around 7:00 p.m., I returned to the bar after realizing I had forgotten it. I spoke with the bar staff, who kindly checked in the back where found items are normally kept, but they told me nothing was there and suggested I come back the next day to ask the person who had been working at noon. When I returned the following day, another barista confirmed that he had indeed found my item the previous day and went to check. However, he came back and informed me that it was no longer there. I find it difficult to understand how a found item could disappear in less than 24 hours, especially since it had been identified by a staff member. While, fortunately, the item in question was not of high value, this situation raises serious concerns. If it had been something more expensive or important, the loss would have been much more problematic. Could you please clarify whether Motel One has a policy for handling lost and found items, and if so, why this item was not held for at least 24 hours? There was a huge waiting line (flight got cancelled) in front of the check-in and people had to fill out the check-in form, which takes some time. During that time, the check-in of other guests could have already started, which wasn’t the case. That’s the only minor improvement I have. Anything else was great!
It was overpriced for what we got. The rooms were very old with the carpets looking heavily stained
Your receptionist in the front desk are not approachable most specially from tourist came from asian country. But we are thankful for the accomodation.

No drinking water in the room...no provision for boiling water..these are basic requirements in any hotel to be provided..the reception guy Saurav was very good and helpful
Everything was fine, apart from the linen quality and breakfast. The linen had holes in it, and both the pillows and blankets were really uncomfortable and felt overused compared to other Motel One locations. As for breakfast: no one was cleaning the nearby tables, so by the time we finished at 9:45, most of the tables were dirty. There was no orange juice at 9:00 in either of the machines, and it was never refilled. Also, the boiled eggs were cold. On the positive side, the staff at reception were friendly, and the price was very good for those dates.
Everything was fine, except that in the bathroom, there wasn't any head and body wash, only handwash... I thought that the clearing service would bring some new head and body wash the next day but no... I had to phone and ask the réception.

Overall we like this hotel. We stay here often. However, our experience when checking in this time fell below expectations. Firstly, when being checked in by Danielle, whilst I’m sure it was with good intentions, she immediately asked if we had 2 separate rooms. As my fiancé and I are of the same gender, this wasn’t what I wanted to hear. Following this, we were checked in and went to our room. We booked the Special One but the room given was a standard room, very small, and bed made for 1 person. We went straight back down and was served by Danielle again. She apologised, which I appreciated and went to sort with the manager. Whilst this took some time, she got the room sorted and we were very happy with the room given. She also provided us a voucher for 2 free drinks, which we also appreciated. Although she did refer to my fiancé as my “friend”, which again I wasn’t very keen on. I do appreciate there may have been a language challenge and understand this may have just been an accidental “clumsy” use of wrong terminology. Some feedback on how this could be better handled by colleagues would be for all guests to have their room type confirmed. E.g. “So you’ve booked a Special One room with one King/Queen bed for 2 people and you’re with us for 4 nights”. This then provides an opportunity for the guest(s) to jump in and say, for example “oh no I booked a twin room” if that is indeed what the guest(s) wanted. Also, regarding the friend word, it would have been better to say something along the lines of “Do you and your fellow guest like cocktails or beers?” Rather than what was said, which was like this but “friend” was used instead of “fellow guest”. These minor changes in how the reception team refer to these can make a big difference for LGBT people like myself. Apart from this, the room was great, the hotel was great as always and we will stay again. I hope the feedback helps elevate the service provided even more and it’s useful.
Tiny rooms. Not able to log on to the app anymore after forgetting the password forced me to extend my stay @ higher rate (10%). Water which suppose to be on the room for members was missing. 20€ deposit for an iron - are you kidding me?? Just make a note where it is and pick it up again. Also, no direct contact to the reception forced me to go down myself to pick it up - twice actually since I had no cash on me! It is easy to deploy a what’s app channel for a direct line to reception if you are to budget constraint to install phones on the room. Not a must have again I’d say!
The hotel itself, the rooms, breakfast and the staff are excellent. But I would urgently suggest to improve the checkin procedure - to wait for 45 minutes at 3pm in a queue that was getting even longer around 4pm is not acceptable. I wanted to pay when we arrived at 10am and stored our luggage, but that was declined and delayed till checkin. Why? it would make it a lot faster. I think you should either start handing out room keys earlier / as soon as the rooms are available or have even more employees available to speed up the process.
The location was great, staff was great however walking past all of the guest smoking at the entrance was terrible. The smoke filled the lobby and bar area. Would have loved to use the restaurant but 19,00 euros per person is a bit much for breakfast.

Instaure 9 nights. 5 of those I had to work virtually and 3 of those the internet connection was poor. I complained to reception. 3 men came to say they knew about it and some equipment had to be changed in the whole building. Conclusion: nothing could be done. That was a pity because for the rest I’ve stayed many times at this hotel and I like it.

Very clean hotel and friendly staff. Easy check in and ideal central location to the main for travel across Vienna via Metro bus or tram and easy to get to by train from airport. Great value comfortable beds and pleaasant rooms.
