The price-to-value gap at this hotel is enormous. For a nightly rate of €200-€250, the offerings are extremely limited and basic. The room was disappointingly small, including the bed and bathroom. Furthermore, the hotel lacks crucial amenities expected at this price point, such as a gym, swimming pool, or sauna. The cost appears entirely unjustified given the limited facilities. The breakfast also underperformed relative to the price; it consisted of only basic items and lacked better selections (e.g., smoked salmon) typically provided at hotels charging this rate. I believe this level of accommodation and service is more appropriately priced in the €100 to €150 range. Due to this experience, I will not be booking this hotel for my next business trip.

Excellent service and nice stay. Only minus for breakfast I believe that there should be more versions of eggs for breakfast not only boiled eggs. Thank you once again for wonderful stay.

A great stay at this Motel One thank you! Ideal location to explore Cologne, very clean rooms and communal areas and lovely staff!
The room was great and comfortable. The hotel is located perfectly and was very quiet. I only had 2 issues: 1. The breakfast wasn't worth the price in my opinion. Very basic without a warm option. Therefore I canceled the breakfast on the second day. 2. The cleaning staff opened my room door while I was sleeping. That was very concerning and uncomfortable. I also heard it happened to another colleague of mine. People should feel safe and comfortable in your hotel and I wasn't. I will still recommend your hotel but give them the heads up.

I´ve missed a bottle of water on the room - I´ve seen that you just get it if you are a Motel One member. Our group missed some scrambled eggs or any warm dishes for breakfast.
No issues with the room or the service from staff. Reception was friendly on check-in and checkout. The room was a good size, clean, quiet. It would have been nice to have a kettle and tea in the room. The location was a bit of a walk from the centre.
All was good apart from 1 thing. The sheets of our beds haven't been washed for quite some time, because I had been scratching my body for almost 4 days. it was like bites of mosquito bites on my body. The doctor said it might be Bed fleas from a lack of hygiene and washing. That is the only complaint I needed to make. Hygiene is very important.
Location location location and friendly customer service. Absolutely the best choice if you are participating at an event at Koelnmesse.

I woke up at first night..Because It was so cold`` The duvet was very thin······ I also found the floor dirty```````
You cancelled my booking before I showed up at 8pm without warning! And the room was hot and I was told the cooking system was turned off to save money.

Booking was complicated. Instead of three nights at once, I only had one night reserved, and had to return daily to the desk to enhance my stay for another night.

Room was good, bed was very comfortable, room was very quiet too. But the TV in the room was a basic TV that didn't have YouTube or the Bluetooth connection was not working. There was no glassware in the bathroom, I had to use a paper cup. I really wished the room had a kettle. Breakfast service was chaotic.This is my third time staying in a motel one hotel. Previously stayed in Edinburgh and Manchester. This is the worst one I have been in and it will be my last one . It was like staying in an overpriced youth hostel for the middle aged. Never again.
There was a mixup with the person in the breakfast area. He couldnt find out wether I had booked breakfast so I left without eating
I Have stayed motel one lots of time prag wien paris madrid munich etc etc so i was always pleased and when i travel yo europe i always want to choose motel one but this time my room is cold aircontition was not working hotel staff could not fix it and iam sorry Thanks
Clean Hotel, decent location, staff are pleasant and helpful. Rooms are decent but basic. No bar fridge, or coffee maker/kettle in rooms. Lounge has all the features of drinks and food if you opt for the breakfast $ option. Bar staff were excellent.
Very busy at breakfast at weekend not really enough space for a relaxed breakfast. Week days were fine.

Nice hotel. With motel one, you always consistently get the same. It‘s not fancy, but it‘s always a good slightly above average standard. This time, unfortunately, it was too cold at night. The airco was not able to heat the room enough.

Wszystko było w porządku, bardzo przyjemny pobyt, miła obsługa.
Pokój zarezerwowany był na dwie osoby. Przy check-in pojawiłem się tylko ja. Przydzielono pokój dla jednej osoby czyli niezgodnie z rezerwacją i płatnością i to do tego w pokoju o najgorszej lokalizacji. Rezerwacja przez BeOne i bezpośrednio jak widać nie jest priorytetowo traktowane. Wielokrotnie wcześniej bookowałem przez pośredników wiec doświadczenia były dużo lepsze. Sieć hoteli nie docenia starania klienta.
