I've stayed a few times and it never disappoints. Nice clean, simple stylish rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and in a perfectly central location ... and at a reasonable price.
Staff were brilliant and friendly. Room fabulous, clean, plenty of towels and pillows. Location spot on.
The toilets are on the Meazanine floor and when I finally found them there was only 1 toilet I could access. I am disabled so this was quite challenging
Perfect location, helpful and friendly staff in reception, bar and the maid. Good breakfast included. I stayed in in cold days i August and could not get the room warm.
Reception is lovely. This is not reflected elsewhere. Rooms are beyond basic with nothing but soap provided. Pillows stent adequate two are like a regular pillow but narrow which I don’t understand the other two are square? Why can’t you provide regular sized pillows? Bathroom really small. Toilet roll wasn’t changed to a fresh one which I’d disgusting given a toilet roll holds germs more than anything else. Maybe spend less money on the collection of random chairs on reception and more on your rooms
First time with MotelOne and I loved it! I've got a free upgrade to a deluxe room, and the view was simply stunning. Very comfy bed and quiet.
I had a fantastic stay here. I spent two nights in an exceptionally comfy bed, with a clean, beautifully decorated room. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and couldn't do enough for you. It's also in a great location right next to Central Station. I will definitely stay here again.
Always a great welcome at M1Glasgow. I stay in Glasgow regularly and will choose to stay here if it is in budget. This is a great central location. All rooms are soundproof, this makes a huge difference being next to the station. Reception and lounge/ bar area are an eclectic mix and great environment. Breakfast is continental and has a good range of artisan breads and other items. Staff can be sliw clearing tables. Some rooms are getting a bit tired due to the use that they get. Never regretted staying here and look forward to my next stay.
Not heard of this brand before, but very happy we found them. Very modern hotel literally next door to Glasgow Central train station (just a shame Glasgow city centre is such a poop hole now, unlike when I was born). Spacious reception area, with friendly, helpful staff. The room was beautiful. Bright and clean and the TV welcomed you as you entered the room. People were moaning there was no hot breakfast option. Hey those people, read the description properly, continental breakfast. You don't need a full Scottish, and if you do, there are 2 wetherspoons in view. Anyway, we digress. A good selection of bits for breakfast, but its a continental clientele, so don't expect people to queue the British way. My only way to improve it, is how about some gluten free options. Maybe some bread and cereals. Lots of hotels are offering this service nowadays. On the whole thou, very very happy with the choice.
Great stay clean friendly staff .In City near everything..I had great sleep great big bed . Doors soft closing .Nice bottle of water which lasted the 2.days .I would highly recommended this hotel . Safe feeling in this hotel
Absolutely amazing stay. Great reception staff - everyone we met was so helpful and welcoming. Rooms are comfortable - everything needed for the stay. The only downside - no small fridge in the room.
Quick and easy check in with friendly staff. My only issue was the room was very small and felt quite cramped.
First time staying at your hotel. Everything was brilliant. Lovely place to stay.
I first asked for a room with a view but could barely see out the window because of digusting bird dropping covering the whole window, then given a room facing the opposite view looking straight at hotel window across the street, lounge bar was closed.
Excellent stay check in was great had not booked a room as we had a unexpected stay in Glasgow thought we would be there for two nights but turned out we only needed one night so our 2nd was refunded. Which was a lovely surprise. Very friendly helpful staff, hotel was super clean & very comfortable.
We were given a 'save until last' room because we booked through a third party and were told it was an 'upgrade.' The breakfast was basic and not really value for money. It was clean and the staff were professional.
The hotel was modern, clean and very central. We were on the 7th floor which was quiet with a large comfortable bed, powerful shower, toiletries, hairdryer and tea and coffee provided, the only thing missing was a fridge. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.
Super hotel in a perfect position for visiting Glasgow. Exceptionally clean room and lovely, relaxing bar area. Friendly, helpful staff. Altogether a great 3 night stay.
Motel one is one of the best hotel’s I have stayed at in a long time , the beds were very comfortable and the staff were very accommodating 10/10 from us and we will 100% be back.
Very helpful and clean hotel . Very central as well
Had a phenomenal stay! Staff were so lovely and attentive. Room was exceptionally clean and cosy.
Breakfast, not enough staff on duty and a lot of food had run out and cutlery, Delph etc, it was a long time before they were refilled. Breakfast staff not very pleasant didn’t like their job.
gave up a complimentary upgrade but even without that the rooms are always spotless the coffee they give you is always sooo good the staff are so incredibly friendly it’s the only hotel me and my partner ever book now
Overall a good stay but with no frills. The room had a nice view but is nothing special and you can tell the hotel already functioned like a hotel before and just underwent a light renovation. Breakfast was a joke, everyone was missing and folks were jumping on any food that would be delivered and all was gone after 2 minutes. Demand > Supply ratio was very, very bad. Brekkie is not worth the money
Pleasant stay for a good price, good location, modern room
Compared to other motel 1 we have stayed in before this one was pretty disappointing - we paid for a queen size bed it was really just 2 single beds pushed together. The bar area was nice and the staff were friendly but really don’t like when you don’t get what you paid for. It was adequate enough but not entirely pleased. For reference the general area around the hotel is also pretty rough, dirty - I know there’s nothing the hotel can do about this but feel it’s important for people to know before they book.
Great value as we paid 275£ for 2 nights.Great location.Big comfy bed and not stingy with free tea, coffee and milk in the room.Very good short stay.
The position and the decor of the hotel, especially the lobby and bar areas, is great. The rooms are compact, but with plenty of room for one to feel comfortable. The room was clean, lovely clean white linens and stylish design. I wasn't prepared for not having a little fridge (I didn't even think to look at the rooms facilities list for that), it was tricky as I was travelling with medication that really should have been refrigerated, but for three nights I chanced it, I would reconsider my options next time because of this. The staff at the front desk were always friendly, efficient and helpful. Lack of room service was also a surprise, again, that would influence my choice next time. Overall, for the comfortable, clean room close to station I think it was reasonable value, not sure I'll be booking a Motel One again though.
Lovely staff bed was extremely comfortable Would definitely book again 🙂
Ideal location, lovely lobby and bar area, friendly, courteous staff, lovely room, shower immense. Everything easy to find.
Welcome friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, always a great stay
Superb hotel, perfectly situated, welcoming reception, friendly, helpful and pleasant staff, spotlessly clean rooms (if a little on the small side), comfy bed and for once sufficient pillows! Great selection of drinks (but shame no draft beer), nice breakfast, good value for money.
A nice clean hotel. Across the road from Grand Central Station and handy to the shops.
Firstly; I think the staff do an excellent job, indeed they appeared run off their feet, though there was quite a lack of staff and this was evident in the morning, the breakfast was pretty chaotic and the staff did their best to keep up, often somewhat criticised by fellow residents due to things running out, but in fairness to the staff they seemed to be working hard just to keep up. The breakfast was chaotic and a unpleasant experience, I did not feel that I was "set up" for the day and would highly discourage anybody from choosing the breakfast option when booking with Motel One. The continental choice would have been a disappointment for anybody expecting something cooked (not me, but I think my husband would have been disappointed in a £13.50 breakfast that was so lacking). I was basically "elbowed" out of the way by hotel residents, many spoke no English hence they did not understand when I tried to explain why the bread was not coming out of the toaster (it was all backed up behind it). The small breakfast area and the sheer volume of people trying to "bun fight" for it was actually overwhelming to me as a disabled person. I struggled to find a table, the tables were too close together, I felt as though I was directly sharing breakfast with strangers. The breakfast buffet area over all was too small and there were not enough seats for the amount of rooms in the hotel (374?) if at capacity. I was lucky to manage to get a small bowl of cereal, one piece of toast and a small glass of juice on the three mornings, I went down at various times, went down earlier than I needed too, and there was little difference. The cornflakes and juice were cheap, they were certainly not branded. The room itself was basic though the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space for my items. There was no noise whatsoever, I did not hear others in the corridor nor in rooms either side, it was as though I was in a soundproof room which was quite a good experience for a decent night sleep yet also somewhat unnerving, particularly when the alert alarms in this accessible room where completely hung out of reach. The curtains hid the light too and whilst there was no view, the room did the job. The shower was a good size and a good pressure though for an accessible room I found the toilet too close to the sink. The double sink was a novel idea. The accent coloured pillows on the bed were a bit rank, they smelled awful so I left a super polite note to inform housekeeping and they took them away. Otherwise there was a good choice of firm and soft bed pillows and it was a good size (queen) bed. The reception areas were plush and aesthetically pleasing, the seating was not comfortable for myself though probably quite suitable for most travellers. There were three lifts to access the upper floors though corridors to rooms were rather long and almost disorientating as they looked the same! Overall the location of the hotel was good for me as a business traveller working within that vicinity, I am not sure that I felt hugely safe in the area, as a female traveller alone, though it was always busy with people going about. I would stay here again though I would consider breakfast at McDonalds or at Weatherspoons which were both very close by.
Nice hotel Lovely reception bar area Nice breakfast - simple. Could do with someone in breakfast area cleaning tables as after 8am it’s very busy and tables not being cleared
We had a lovely stay at the Glasgow Hotel, the staff were friendly and so helpful with our check in. The room was very comfortable, modern and clean. Will stay her and with Motel one again.
Great location, easy check-in and check-out. Friend,y and competent staff. Felt safe.
Great rooms Helpful staff Nice bar
Really enjoyed our stay in Glasgow. When I spoke to one of the receptionist ( unfortunately forgot her name)before we arrived to ask to change our room from a double to a twin, she couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
This was our 6th time staying at a Motel One and every stay has been wonderful. The staff is always lovely, the rooms and comfortable and clean, and the bar is tops.
Perfect visit - the only reservation is that more storage space for clothes would be helpful
I was very surprised at how nice this hotel was considering how reasonably priced it was. Room was lovely, soundproofing was great and the bed was very comfy.
From check in to departure we enjoyed our stay. The sheep in the reception/bar area were a hit...said Hi to them every day! And the blue pear drops were amazing!
Get a refrigerator for the rooms. Bigger breakfast area please, and scrambled eggs and bacon🙈
Very central location and excellent value for money. Staff very helpful, would stay again.
Check in was quick but cheery. Confirmed what had been booked - breakfast location was pointed out, directions to lift given. Guide to breakfast "expectations" in lift was useful. Was at breakfast during one of the busier periods, staff worked hard to try and keep items replenished - perhaps the only fault (and a very very minor one at that) was there were no clean knives available which does present a little difficulty if you'd like to put butter/spread on your toast.
Really excellent value for money. Extremely convenient location for Central Station and the city centre. Stylish clean interior and pleasant and helpful staff.
Reasonable price for a city centre hotel, but expect a tiny room with uncontrollable air con, a basin with no plug and shambolic breakfast
Czysto uprzejmy personel
Dobre położenie blisko do centrum , super bar dlugo czynny ,przestronne logby za taką cenę naprawdę godny polecenia.

Następny przystanek: Glasgow!
6 ważnych powodów, dla których warto odwiedzić „Glaschu”
Wiecznie zielone
Piękne i niedrogie
Atrakcje
Gin71.
Położenie i okolica
Romantyzm kolei połączony z designem
Nasz niedrogi designerski hotel położony bezpośrednio przy Glasgow Central Station w całości nawiązuje do romantyzmu kolei żelaznej. W hotelu Motel One Glasgow połączyliśmy przemysłowy charakter techniki kolejowej i torowej z niezwykłymi emocjami towarzyszącymi podróży pociągiem.
Regały i stoły z wysokiej jakości mosiężnymi elementami wprowadzają w przemysłową przeszłość Glasgow, a dopełnienie koncepcji wystroju stanowią lampy ścienne Aldo Bernardiego.
Mungo. Odjazd!
