Excellent stay in MotelOne Glasgow. Clean, uncluttered, beautifully designed with everything we need in a great location and with over-the-top customer service. Great value. We will be back.
This hotel has a great location. The rooms are very quiet - even though the hotel was full. The elevators are fast. The staff was great and very nice.
Stayed a night and had a good sleep. Staff were great and got me checked in quickly, sorted a problem I had and were friendly. I didn't have time to check out the bar, but the room was nice and had a good view of central station. Bed was comfy. Location is obviously extremely handy for the station.
No issues, seamless experience, excellent location.
Fantastic in every way. Would definitely stay again.
Lovely room, I booked late so it wasn't cheap. I found the heat unacceptable and I'm thinking of cancelling my July booking as it will be absolutely unbearable then. They offered me a fan to help. I brought a powerful fan with me, but it was just pushing warm air around. It was incredibly unpleasant. It was very warm and humid in Glasgow that weekend and to have hot humid air coming out of the vents meant there was no escape. At reception they told me to turn the air off, the temp down and open the window. That stopped the hot air coming out. They explained it's not aircon so it doesn't cool the room. As it was a warm weekend, opening the window an inch or so, the max allowed, didn't really help.
No servicing of our room AT ALL! No fresh towels, no replacement one use paper cups? No replacement coffee! Beds not straightened! Waste bin not emptied! Nichts, Nada, Nowt! Simply a roof over our heads for £ 260.
Lovely clean hotel in the City Centre - we were impressed by the size of the bed but the room did not feel cramped. Good sized shower and bathroom. Also lovely bar which was open for residents until 2pm providing us with a great location for a nightcap.
Lovely hotel, unfortunately though I found the bed and pillows to be extremely uncomfortable
I was disappointed to find that housekeeping is no longer provided during a stay for 2 nights unless requested, something that was previously standard and added greatly to the comfort and value of a visit. Additionally, the rooms felt overly warm and uncomfortable. We tried to switch on our air conditioning that appeared to be available but did not work efficiently, it was very difficult to relax and sleep was virtually impossible, which has really affected the overall experience.
Hotel is beautiful. King bed room was small. Customer service is great. Location is great also.
Check-in was busy when we arrived (10.30pm) and we had to wait some time. However, staff were pleasant and friendly. Room was fine. Clean and perfectly adequate for a three-night stay. A bottle of water would have been nice - and better quality coffee - but these are minor gripes. The pillows were a very odd arrangement, but everyone will have a different preference. We tried to have a drink in the bar on our second day, at 1pm, to be told they were still clearing up from breakfast! We went elsewhere - which was fine, but seemed odd! Would definitely stay again - and recommend.
I forgot a necklace in the room. Under the pillow. If so, was it found? Please contact me so I can come and get it.
we have been to motel one glasgow about 6 times in the past 4 years and will keep coming back (in june and in july). it is still by far the best package design for money. however, this time, we felt that the hotel was even more understaffed than normal, with long cues for checking in and not enough people to keep the breakfast tables clear and the supplies stocked. at the same time, the ventilation in our 12th floor room did not react to the thermostat and produced a very slow but continuous stream of hot air - even in the off position. consequently our room overheated even with open window and sleep was intermittent and draining. i hope someone fixes this before i bring my 80 year old mom in three weeks time.
I checked in on Thursday the 29th and unfortunately my train was cancelled and got at the hotel late and the room was gone but the gentleman and lady that was on duty that night tried their best and had found a room for me and Daughter Room 103 iam so grateful because all the hotels in Glasgow that night were sold hold am here to say thank you I didn't take their names but am so Grateful
The staff were so lovely and so helpful with during our stay. The Lounge area was beautiful and cosy to sit and have drinks in and perfect that it is also open late. The only reason I wouldn’t give me experience a ten is that the breakfast variety is not very large, very limited options however the coffee machine was nice. The room was a little dusty it looked as though it had been cleaned quite a while ago and not up kept for recent guests. However, the view was fabulous and the bed was comfy, although I was nervous about being beside the train station and it being nosy we could not hear anything. Over all lovely stay would definitely come back.
Room - size & cleanliness - could not be faulted. All staff encountered provided a comparable service. The arrangements for breakfast, however, were chaotic! A single queue for access to available drinks and food does not work…. Some guests were more accommodating than others, but the potential for fracas was, at times, significant!
Excellent value for a short stay in a central location, staff are very efficient and helpful.
Good location, clean rooms
Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and just what I needed. The staff were very helpful. I think I might be back again as I have more hospital appointments in Glasgow.
Great property, directly across from Central Station. The corridors take a bit of navigating but it was worth it for a room with a good view. The bed was very comfy too
Lovely spacious quiet room as requested. Great view from the room.
Good location, nice decoration. Warm bottle beer given to us in bar we didn't complain because it was already open. Breakfast was poor had to wait 40 minutes for a boiled egg on first day. Second day waited over half an hour for a croissant. Replenishment of breakfast items very poor there wasn't a lot of choice to start with but then having to ask staff and then wait wasn't really good enough. Although staff were very pleasant. I think this is more of a management issue.
Clean room, fairly spacious. Friendly service and staff at reception. Nice open lobby with lots of comfy chairs. They explained that you can request not not have your towels changed etc to be more eco friendly, which I did. But then this eco approach seemed to contradict the paper cups in the room for tea and coffee. China/ceramic cups would have probably been more eco friendly and would have felt less cheap. The breakfast was ok, but the layout of the breakfast area could be improved. The room is quite narrow and the breakfast station is at one end. So guests are bumping into eachother and have nowhere to stand while waiting for their coffee to pour from the machine, or their bread to toast. Over all though, the hotel was completely fine for a few nights.
Having stayed at a few Motel Ones, this met expectations, and is great at the price point. Breakfast was reliably good, as was the staff and as always, beautiful decoration. There's room to improve in climate control though - the room was very warm, and there's no AC. The window opened only a few inches and given the long daylight hours this time of the year, the curtains (which are blackout and necessary for sleep) blocked any air flow. Even a plug-in fan would have been nice!
I liked the rooms, and the bed/pillows were all very comfortables. I didn't like the constant banging from other doors closing throughout the night. Breakfast was also chaos, most of the limited options were all gone, and breakfast was very busy there were few places to sit. Of those tables that were free they were covered in dirty plates etc. It felt as though breakfast is just left to get on with it.
A bit of a rough area... my sister didn't feel safe at all... breakfast not conducive to those will food allergies... great staff though...
We very much enjoyed our stay at Motel One Glasgow. Staff was friendly, rooms and hotel ambiance were great. The only thing keeping this from being a 10/10 score was the lack of housekeeping. We stayed for 9 nights and only had our room cleaned twice. And that was despite stopping by the front desk 3 mornings in a row to request more housekeeping services. We ran out of coffee every day and had to get our own from reception and we ran out of toilet paper on 2 occasions as well as a result of not having our room serviced on a routine basis.
Please don't change. As you staff are great, your hotels are lovely, clean, warm and quite.AMAZING. I love staying in your hotels as a solo traveler I find them safe and welcoming.thank you.
Excellent, clean and tidy and a very nice room and also a quiet room,Reception staff are very helpful,I will use again as my first choice of accommodation cheers Ian.
super friendly and efficient staff at the front desk and the bar
Always a good stay
Great price, great location, minutes walk from trains and buses, clean rooms and hotel stuff go out their way to help Highly recommended stay
We were overnight stay only but cannot fault the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room and bed was comfortable and toilet was spotless. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Great value for money too
What's NOT to LOVE about this hotel, it's PERFECT in many different ways!!! I came early but it's not checked in time yet, but I can stored my luggage here while I stroll around the city center. Receptionist was very polite, warm and welcoming 🥰 Checked in was on time at 3pm, got a room in 4th floor with the intersection view. Room and bathroom was impeccably clean, in which I really appreciate a LOT!! Cleaning service done a VERY GOOD JOB on those 💜💜💜 I really enjoyed my stay here, everything is beyond my expectations!! I will definitely stay here again in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Room has everything we needed, bed very comfy, only negativeS we found was the area by the chair, table and wardrobe was a bit small to move around easily and no water available on the first night. STAFF LOVELY AS ALWAYS
Usual great room But was far too warm
Good location, clesn room, reasonably priced. Very near to train station & NCP car park (parking cost at a reduced rate through the hotel). It's a shame the bar had to close early due to a 'system error.' Dodn't like the cardboard cups in the room for tea/coffee. Would we stay here again - yes, absolutely.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay.. We slept well and enjoyed our breakfasts although you did run out of orange juice our last morning.
The usual nice stay. Clean comfy room and bed. 2 points knocked off for the fridges being down in the bar for days!! Beer not chilled. How long does it take to get someone in to repair them? (You charge enough!)
Lovely place to stay, staff friendly. Has a lot of nice bars and restaurants near.
great hotel , only downside is the bar prices , when you have pubs over the road which are way cheaper, I was going to book for 2 nights but the Saturday price 220.00 and my Sunday price was 77.00, so only booked the 1 night, I totally disagree with fluid pricing as its ripping people off , but the problem is people pay it knowing they are getting ripped off, I like to come into Glasgow a lot and the hotel is ideally placed for everything, but sometimes have to look elsewhere depending on rates.
Excellent as always
A reasonably priced hotel in the centre of Glasgow … next door to the train station. Very friendly, efficient staff. Lovely decor in the lobby. The bedrooms were spotless and modern
Great all around - only issue is long wait times to check in, not any fault of staff - but every time I’ve arrived the check in is really slow!
special thanks to the barmen, stephen and daniel, Harley from the front desk and the security Dexter for an amazing night :)
Really nice clean hotel with friendly staff and great atmosphere. Nice sized room and nice compact bathroom. My only complaint is the room got very hot and the air conditioning didn’t seem to work.
A great hotel with friendly, efficient and polite staff. The room was excellent as was the bathroom. A good breakfast available, more continental style with breads, cheeses, fresh fruit, pastries, cooked meats etc. An enjoyable two night stay. I would definitely recommend if staying in Glasgow. AND ...... Where can you buy those complimentary blue sweets, they're amazing.
Good location, good facilities. It would have been much better of they had a kitchen inside the hotel + slightly bigger rooms. Room sizes are too small for a couple.
Dobre położenie blisko do centrum , super bar dlugo czynny ,przestronne logby za taką cenę naprawdę godny polecenia.

Następny przystanek: Glasgow!
6 ważnych powodów, dla których warto odwiedzić „Glaschu”
Wiecznie zielone
Piękne i niedrogie
Atrakcje
Gin71.
Położenie i okolica
Romantyzm kolei połączony z designem
Nasz niedrogi designerski hotel położony bezpośrednio przy Glasgow Central Station w całości nawiązuje do romantyzmu kolei żelaznej. W hotelu Motel One Glasgow połączyliśmy przemysłowy charakter techniki kolejowej i torowej z niezwykłymi emocjami towarzyszącymi podróży pociągiem.
Regały i stoły z wysokiej jakości mosiężnymi elementami wprowadzają w przemysłową przeszłość Glasgow, a dopełnienie koncepcji wystroju stanowią lampy ścienne Aldo Bernardiego.
Mungo. Odjazd!
