Great stay with Motel One once more, from check-in through to departure. Customer service from the front desk team was excellent once more and extremely helpful over the weekend of our reservation > thank you to all of the team at Motel One !!
Everything is good with the light under the door and noise from the central air. The TV software had clearly never been tested on the public as it is the least user friendly thing I've had the pleasure of interacting with as it's slow and most of the buttons do anything. The fireplace seems like it's stuck, the channels take ages to load, you can't connect via HDMI, and the instructions on screen don't give you the outcome you are looking for.

Staff were really helpful as I needed to check in early and were able to confirm that my room was in fact already for me. This was a great help to me on the day. The checking in process was easy and the room modern and clean. The only thing missing was any bottles of water in the room.
Been there many times. Most of them I enjoyed a great stay, but not this time. As long year guest in this hotel and because of my long stay this time, 10 night, I requested a certain room (they got at least 16 of them) type with my booking. I didn't get one of these. Instead were squeezed in a "standard" room (12.04). As there no closets we had to store some luggage on the small table in the room. It further took them 3 days to change the duvets from a large one to two single duvets. This was also a request in our booking already. So the stay here this time was rather disappointing.
Fresh, clean hotel & rooms. Good location for east side of city. Staff were excellent - friendly & helpful. Rooms are compact. If you travelled with a large suitcase there’s no space to open it other than on the bed.
More and more expensive eaxh time, I will look for alternatives next time
Reception at check-in hardly made an effort to communicate with me. During check-in I asked an iron and iron board and when I the next day unwittingly started to iron, my shirt was full of yellow stains and grime. When I told reception what happened, again hardly any response. I'm quite sure the same iron will ruin another person's clothes the next day. Motel One rooms, ammenities, and pricing is good, especially for business travel. But this experience was really below par.
The Stuff at the Rezption was really rude. I thimk his name is Lewis or so. He didnt welcome us and didn't tell us about the beakfast time. Made a mistake with the door card and then was just more and more unfriendly. The cleaning lady,Margarte helped us. She is very nice and helpful. The hotel is clean and the lokation is good. The view is nice and the breakfast is delicious
The room was a bit small but besides that excellent value for money in addition to location was perfect!
Tv channel guide did not show what was actually on any of the TV channels only issue. All good otherwise. Short walk to tower hill underground station makes getting to and from Heathrow Airport easy.
Service was excellent. Room was clean, but a bit small. Handicap room shower nozzles need to be more adjustable and have more power. Breakfast buffet was a bit lacking, but sufficed - was hoping for some hot food option(s). Location was perfect. Overall, I would stay again.
Centrally located, a few minutes of walking from either Aldgate or Tower Hill tube stations. Ideal for excursions into the city or business travel. The room is up to the usual standard with the usual great bed that had me fresh and relaxed the next day. There was a distinct smell of mold in the bathroom though. Otherwise, no complaints in the room department. WiFi worked great and allowed me to do all I needed to do for work Breakfast is as mediocre as at any other Motel One. Acceptable, good quality ingredients but lacklustre in choice or healthy options. Once they decide to add some scrambled eggs I may actually rate it higher, but I don't think there's much chance of Motel One investing in the necessary extra staff and material to take care of this. They decided to concentrate on the bar experience instead of having a broad selection at breakfast and I understand that strategy.
We have enjoyed staying at Motel One in various cities for many years. This was our 3rd visit to the London Hotel, the rooms are fine although a bit smaller than we would like. We had a few minor issues with the room, we couldn't really regulate the temperature, it was either blowing cold air or it was too warm, no matter what temperature we put the thermostat at. The water temperature control in the shower needs attention in room 1403. It feels like the breakfast/lounge area is somewhat run down. The chairs are in need of new cushions, so I don't feel like my chin is resting on the table top. We really enjoy the overall comfort and style of Motel One, but it seems like there isn't the attention to detail that there used to be.
I liked my room and the hotel location but there were some things lacking like a safe and closet which felt inconvenient. It would’ve been nice to have a water filling station and ice dispenser as well as places to throw away trash when cleaning service wasn’t required. Other than that, it was a good time.
Great location, great staff. Reserved room was a little small but we were accommodated by desk staff into an accessible room.

I stayed for 10 nights and I won't be coming back. My bed was noticeably droopy so I slept lopsided every night. I didn't know that you had to no basic amenities like a small fridge so all my diabetic injections spoiled and I became quite unwell. When I tried to rest because I was unwell, housekeeping made so much noise especially on the weekends, yelling down the corridor and banging doors. On the day of check out, housekeeping came into my room before 8am while I was sleeping which was completely inappropriate - housekeeping on the day of checking out is unheard of and I wasn't sure what the reasoning here was which made me question my safety and safety of my belongings. When I raised this at reception upon check out, it was the hardest apology I have ever seen anyone give me so it came across disingenuous. Reception staff were generally friendly but not welcoming and came across quite cold. The room was clean location was good which were the only positives I took out of it.
Excellent location - close to a small tube station which made travel throughout London convenient as well as walking distance to the Tower of London. Small but well appointed room - could have used more storage as there was hardly any, and would have liked an in room safe. We enjoyed the breakfast which included cereal, pastries, meats and cheese as well as fruit. Overall a good experience and would recommend staying here.
I booked and paid for this hotel yet everything was addressed to the other guest. Was it because he's male and im female? The hotel was nice but this was frustrating
Breakfast was good. Room was terrible. I paid for a regular room and got an access room and the sink dripped all night. I wouldn’t stay with you again or recommend anyone else stay with you.
Motel One is a convenient, comfortable place to stay. My request to change rooms was met by a kind staff member. Breakfasts are great. The room I changed was larger but so dark (the window was in a dark corner looking out on a another wall), it needed lights on all the time - quite dreary! The new one much lighter and more cheerful.
Quick check in, clean comfortable rooms and great bar. Couldn’t ask for more for the price.

Prima hotel voor een paar nachten, perfecte lokatie
Heerlijk bed, schone kamer en douche en toilet , fijne lakens. Jammer dat er geen raam was dat open kon. We hebben nu de airco aan moeten zetten voor meer koelte.
Vriendelijk personeel, goede ligging, lekker ontbijt, miste alleen wel de echt Engelse dingen zoals gebakken eieren, worstjes enz. Kamer was relatief klein en helaas geen frisse lucht. In de lobby van het hotel was het ook érg warm.
Het feit dat de ramen in het hotel niet open konden, betekende dat we iedere dag met hoofdpijn wakker werden, en beroerd sliepen door het onophoudelijke gezoem van de airco, die niet uit kon. Goed voor het milieu, niet goed voor de gasten. Ik zag op de website dat er erg veel klachten over zijn. Verder heeft Motel One problemen met het verwerken van de prijzen. Zowel in Hannover, twee weken geleden, als in Londen, afgelopen week, werd meer berekend dan was afgesproken in de bevestiging. In Londen ging het om honderden ponden. Als je zelf niet oplet, word je afgezet.
Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is erg goed Kamer is groot genoeg en bedden zijn erg fijn Ontbijt is goed verzorgd Enige minpunt in alle hotels die ik tot nu toe heb bezocht van Motel One Berlijn, Hamburg en Londen is dat het onwijs warm is in de lobby en in de kamers en dat het in de kamers moeilijk te reguleren is om het koeler te krijgen.
Goede ligging aan bus en metro op de hoofdlijnen Cirle en District. Nette kamers, bankje voor koffer ontbreekt en is wel een gemis. Basic ontbijt maar voldoende keuze voor een of twee keer, moeilijk met zitplaatsen, trendy ingericht maar zeer onpraktisch voor ontbijt aan tafeltjes. Ook te weinig plaats aan ontbijt op piekuur. Verder mooi hotel, rustige ligging, stil, goede kamers.
Prima locatie en service, de kamers zijn wat klein maar wat wil je op zo'n toplocatie.

De kamer was in orde ! Alleen jammer dat er geen vuilbakje in de kamer stond! Badkamer er lagen wat haartjes in de lavabo en het was ook nat op de vloer toen we voor de eerste keer de kamer betraden daardoor werden helaas onze sokken nat.
Zeer prettig hotel, dicht bij metro en Tower bridge in een rustige buurt. Fijne kamers en vriendelijk personeel
Heel fijn hotel, ruime kamer, prettige badkamer en goed bed. Vriendelijke medewerkers bij de receptie. Goede locatie met meerdere metrostations en bushaltes op loopafstand. De enige minder prettige ervaring was dat ik de hoestende en snurkende persoon in de kamer naast me veel hoorde en de deuren op de gang hard dichtsloegen.
Heerlijk verblijf in een uitstekend en schoon hotel op een erg goede locatie.
perfecte accommodatie met zeer goede bedden en uitgebreid ontbijt. We zijn regelmatige gast bij Motel One in London en steeds weer dezelfde perfecte service.
Schoon, netjes, fijn bed. Vriendelijk personeel. Fijn, Europese stopcontacten. Conditioner ontbrak. En we misten een soort winkeltje voor een flesje drinken, wat snacks.

Ik vroeg om een flesje water en was zelfs bereid om er voor te betalen. Maar dit wordt alleen gegeven als je een member bent en via de website hebt geboekt. Ik ben een member maar had via booking geboekt. Kreeg geen flesje water terwijl wij 2 kamers voor 2 nachten hadden geboekt. 1200 euro betaald en er kon geen flesje water vanaf. Heb maar buiten een flesje gekocht voor 1 pond.
Alles was in orde! Kamer is proper! Veel keuze voor ontbijt! Spijtig dat er geen apparte bedden zijn, twin room. Ik denk dat het allemaal dubbel bedden zijn, bedden zijn wel goed .
Fijne en propere kamer, goede service en een goede locatie om Londen te verkennen.
Goed hotel, mooie schone kamer. Vriendelijk personeel. Locatie dichtbij metro station. Bus stopt voor de deur. Zalig ontbijt. Een aanrader.
Het hotel is goed gelegen. De mensen bij de receptie zijn vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was gevarieerd en er waren glutenvrije producten.
Goede uitstraling (ondanks verbouwing), behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Goed gelegen.
Nog steeds erg blij met motel one. Als ik van tevoren had geweten dat de hal werd verbouwd had ik een ander hotel gekozen. De bar was niet zo gezellig en het was niet meer mogelijk ontbijt bij te boeken.

Ons voordelige hotel ligt in de binnenstad, nabij de Tower of London, die eeuwenlang dienstdeed als gevangenis van Groot-Brittannië. Hier hebben zich dan ook zeer veel geschiedkundige gebeurtenissen afgespeeld. Op slechts 500 meter van het hotel gaat u via het Tower Hill Station naar de London Underground, zoals het metrostation in Londen wordt genoemd. Dankzij deze metrolijn is alles in de stad zeer goed bereikbaar. Het hotel is echter ook het ideale vertrekpunt voor wie te voet de stad wil verkennen. Op enkele minuten bent u al aan de Tower Bridge. Als u van hieruit de Theems volgt, komt u in het toeristische centrum van Londen. Hier vindt u alle bezienswaardigheden die u absoluut gezien moet hebben wanneer u Londen bezoekt: de St Paul's Cathedral, London Eye en Buckingham Palace en nog zoveel meer. Wacht niet langer!
