Nice rooms, friendly staff, very good location
Overall we had a great experience. We did have to ask for everything like a city pass for transport that we read about we were supposed to be offered by paying city tax. Also I sent an email to hotel asking if they found a travel book That I may have left but no one has responded. I am wondering if I can get a response and if anyone found my travel book. Thank you. A little more expansive than the other Motel One's I have stayed in. Good location though not too far from the inner city. Enjoyed the walk along the river that led to it.
Had a lovely stay in a balcony room, which was huge with a really comfortable bed. Free litre bottle of water. Smooth check in. Breakfast had a good choice. Bar prices were very reasonable and there was great service on the riverfront terrace. Easy walking distance from the railway station.

Good location (not far from the train station, not far to the city centre). My room was pretty big for Motel One with a nice view on the river. Breakfast was good as always.
Gret location very close to the central station. Wonderful views of the Salzach river. Very spacious and clean room. Friendly staff who let me check in early and leave my bags on departure day.
This hotel was excellent and in a very good area. It was close to Maribel, Gardens, and Palace, not far from the train station, and still walkable to old town. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly.

The hotel was well situated and the staff very friendly. Everything was well explained such as entry to the parking. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a great stay there.

The room was very nice, the AC worked well. The staff were all friendly, the breakfast was great. The front deck is a very nice place to eat breakfast. The only thing I would change is add coffee machines/water cooker to the room, and maybe have some info on public transit into town available.
Great location in the city so very easy to navigate around. Great views of the river from outside as I was on the top floor so only had skylight windows do a view could only be seen if I was stood on a chair. Very spacious and clean room. I would’ve like more amenities like a coffee machine perhaps? One of the members of staff on reception was a little bit blunt/short with me which did put me off a little and I had trouble getting in to my room on my second night which she didn’t seem to happy to sort. Breakfast options were okay but I have had better in other motel ones.
Staff were really friendly and helpful, hotel and rooms were gorgeous! Less than a ten min walk to the train station and just on the river. Had a great time and would definitely return.

Beautiful hotel with excellent view and patio. Best choice for city trip to Salzburg
Staff were lovely and we had a great stay here in Salzburg. Really enjoyed the pastries for breakfast. Room was spacious and modern. The only issue we had was our room smelled like food from the previous visitors, we didn’t manage to get this food smell out despite having the windows open for 3 days. This was probably just unlucky but it did affect our stay.
As always a great stay for a night. Clean rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. Located overlooking the river Salzach with views over to the old town if you request a riverside room. Short 15 minute walk to the old town.
Close to Mirabell Gardens and located by the River Salzach, this Motel One is a true gem in Salzburg. A gentle 15 min walk along the waterfront to the town centre and 10 mins from the main railway station. A big thank you to Michael who served us 2 glasses of prosecco at breakfast to celebrate my birthday. All the staff were very attentive and courteous. The only complaint I had during the stay was having no muesli at breakfast. This has been provided at other Motel One establishments. It’s a very minor issue. We will return. Vielen dank!
More English channels on TV would be nice to have. Very pleasant stay. I would be happy to come again.

Nice hotel at a great location. Unfortunately, there is not much in the breakfast buffet for paleo or keto diets. All I could eat was a boiled egg (unfortunately not even olive oil or so), some cucumber and tomato and a banana.

Very happy with our stay in Salzburg
We have never been to Salzburg before, we had heard of Motel Ones and have stayed in one in Munich. It wasn’t too far from the Old Town where the Christmas Market was held, that being the reason for our stay, so we got our daily exercise and explored all aspects of the Old Town, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We’ll be back for sure.

Great location and very friendly staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast tasty and plentiful. Would definitely stay again when in Salzburg.
Everything about this hotel was great, especially the lounge/bar area. It makes such a difference to have a lounge to hang out in with nice lighting and seats and nice ambience. The one thing missing was a kettle for tea in the rooms.

Rock me Amadeus
«Sin música, todo sería nada». La música era a Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lo que el diseño es a Motel One, y sobre todo aquí, en el centro de Salzburgo. En nuestro Motel One Salzburgo-Mirabell, el hijo más ilustre de la ciudad y su trascendencia durante el siglo XVIII decoran nuestro interior. En nuestro lounge, que es salón, cafetería y bar al mismo tiempo, las luces de trompeta, los guiños a la decoración instrumental y los detalles de notas musicales recuerdan al niño prodigio de Salzburgo y subrayan la importancia que tiene la música clásica para la ciudad de la cultura austriaca.
Música en las cuatro paredes
Entre acogedores sillones de cuero, sofás de terciopelo y rústicos muebles de madera, puede disfrutar del paso de las horas degustando uno o varios «bombones de Mozart» en nuestro hotel en Salzburgo. ¿Y por qué no acompaña el momento con una copa en el bar? ¿O prefiere relajarse en su habitación en una cómoda cama box spring frente a un televisor de pantalla plana? Independientemente de lo que decida, no debería perderse la instalación de neón que hay en el lounge, ¡es todo un atractivo! Aquí reluce el verso «Rock me Amadeus» de la canción de Falco que lleva el mismo nombre. Sin duda, una ocasión para tomarse una foto. ¡En este lugar debe, puede y tiene que hacerse unos selfies!
¿Se ha quedado con ganas de más? En el exterior, nuestro hotel de diseño en Salzburgo atrae con un elegante lounge exterior que cuenta con una maravillosa vista panorámica del río Salzach y las montañas circundantes. Y es que el económico hotel situado en el centro de Salzburgo se encuentra literalmente a tiro de piedra del Salzach y, por lo tanto, a poca distancia del casco antiguo. La estación central tampoco queda lejos. Resulta muy práctica también su proximidad al Congreso de Salzburgo si viene a la encantadora ciudad por negocios o para asistir a un evento.
La sala de estar de Mozart
Por cierto, el nombre de nuestro hotel se debe al cercano jardín de Mirabell y al fascinante castillo Mirabell que se encuentra en el interior de este exquisito parque... ¡Darse un paseo por estos evocadores parajes es una idea estupenda! Desde aquí está a escasos minutos de la casa de Mozart. Y basta cruzar el río Salzach —obviamente también puede ir por los puentes Staatsbrücke o Marko-Feingold-Steg— para encontrarse en la casa natal de Mozart en la calle Getreidegasse. En nuestro hotel se hospedará en un lugar con mucho sentimiento mozartiano y que, además, está ubicado muy cerca del barrio en el que vivió el compositor.
