Overall good (comfy bed, clean room, friendly staff), breakfast a bit disappointing (at a mid-level hotel like this, cooked breakfast is generally standard these days). Also, waiting times in the breakfast lounge might be reduced, if the waiting staff adjusted their working speed marginally to the level of busyness ( leisurely strolling is perhaps not the most efficient speed level to clear tables at peak times). Still, all in all a pleasant stay.

A very nice and clean hotel with a good location.
Check-in was a disaster. I had already entered my check-in details online. The person at the desk (who was Sarah) asked for my name, confirmed my details and gave me the room number and key card. I used the key card to open the room and found it was occupied. So I went back to the desk to ask for help. After asking about my situation, the staff member asked me to wait a moment and went into the back office area. This wait lasted 10 minutes. Crucially, he came out and told me that the items in the room belonged to the previous guest who had checked out. They would be cleared away and I could check in straight away. OMG I don't know what I heard, do you think this is ridiculous? So I got angry and had to speak out loud to let your staff know how unprofessional they were. At this point, a person who looked like a supervisor came out from back office and asked me the question again. This time she finally got it. She helped me check-in again. Meanwhile she asked me if I had signed to confirm the guest information and I said no, so she asked me to sign the document. When I was finished, she offered me breakfast as compensation for the incident, which I thought she was handled well. However, I must say that the staff were very unprofessional, as that (1) the first staff did not ask me to sign the necessary documents. (2) I was given the wrong key card, which made me feel unsafe during my stay in your hotel. (3) When I checked in online, I should be given a bottle of water as a gift. The first staff did not give it to me until the supervisor gave it to me. I would like to begin by stating that there is certainly scope for improvement with regard to the breakfast items. Only the eggs and coffee were hot. However, it was noted that many of the tableware were not washed clean and there were residues left by previous guests. I observed the incident on two consecutive days, leading me to conclude that it is unlikely an isolated incident. In addition, there are no other cups in the guest room except the paper cups for brushing teeth. I don't know if disposable paper cups are more environmentally friendly? Actually, I wrote so much, not because I want to ask for something or want the employees to be punished, but because the location of your hotel is so good that I may still stay there (hopefully not for the last time), and I don’t want the location to be your only advantage.

Great location. Great service. Comfortable and clean.
Good standard of accommodation. Very clean throughout and my room was excellent, being quiet and well located as I had asked for when I made my reservation. The staff were brilliant (especially Lisa and 'Hakan' ?). Breakfast was good but I thought it was very expensive and there were no hot food choices. Unlike most hotels I have visited there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which would have been welcome.
We always choose to stay at Motel One because we know that we can expect excellent quality and service.

the restaurant/lounge was always overcrowded, also for the breakfast. No remote in the room. Awful view on the train station.
Pros: The hotel is very clean, quiet, with great location just next to a small shopping mall. a central shopping street and very good transportation options. Cons: Although we ordered 2 rooms for 5 persons with an interconnecting door, we received such 2 rooms for a total of 4 persons, and we had to ask one of the kids to sleep on the floor. We didn't receive any compensation for having such a mistake in the hotel room reservation.

Everything was clean, Staff is supportive and very friendly. One small point, but it's a personal issue, it's annoying when you want to pay by card at the bar and you're forced to give a tip. I always tip, but unfortunately I have no understanding for this intrusive behavior. I see it as a provocation. Perhaps you should reconsider your behavior here.
Good stay overall, the brekfast quality is very good but there is no AC in the room, i had to open the window to have a better sleep. Staff is ok it could be more friendly and smily.

-please check the online check-in process. even if I made it prior to the hotel arrival, there was no room key automated machine and I had to do the entire process at the reception (actually two of my other colleagues they even checked-in faster without going through the online check-in) -great position -nicely interior designed -relatively crowded at breakfat -limited choices at breakfast (it would be great to have 2-3 hot dishes available) -overall room was good
Receptionist not helpful at all (not being able to use the voucher for free breakfast that we got), cleaning service coming to late to clean the room
I am a bit handicapped walking. Motel Ones location right at the Westbahnhof is ideal.
The rooms are fine and what you would expect from Motel One. However, the hotel is very loud and you can hear everyone walking by in the hallways, conversations in the other rooms and other noises going on all around. The housekeeping staff knocked already at 8:00 AM and was cleaning in other rooms near by and that was extremely noisy and did not create a pleasant and relaxed experience on a Saturday morning. I could see booking a Motel One again for a business trip but not for personal trips. Too functional and as stated, way too noisy.

I've been in three different motel one hotels. Everything went very well, but i Have to distinguish CARLOS SANTOS at the desk has a very positive mark on the hotel, he was very a friendly and profissional individual, always trying to help and clarify us on how and where to go on Viena! A +!

Good location for our need. Very good breakfast buffet. Very good bedding and silent room. Absolut recommentation.
Not well done cleaning on the room floor and strong bad smell from wastewater pipes in the bathroom.

I like the Motel One group and have stayed at several hotels in different places, and all of them nice and great cost performance, but I have to say that my favorite is Motel One Westbahnhof Vienna! I have stayed periodically in Vienna, a couple times a year for the past 20 years, staying at many different hotels. And after staying in the Motel One Westbahnhof Vienna, I have kept coming back to it and no other. Hotel has a nice ambience. Rooms are nice clean comfortable as all Motel One, but I feel that this hotel is paricularly clean and comfortable. Front desk staff are very nice and helpful, thank you very much!! Internet was also very good. Location is also very convenient, right near Westbahnhof, the airport bus and Metro, and the shopping center there is great. Thank you very much!

Amazing style with very good location near to all kinds of transportation. Reception guys were so kind and helpful. Clean and quiet, suitable for short and long term stays.
check in was awful, checked in already but not found by receptionist, key card did not work, interrupted handling our case while talking to other guest, did not give us the water, in the evening a colleague treated us very friendly and tried to compensate the mistakes; hairdryer dirty and did not work!!!
Hotel is strategically placed over the train station, great location and design of the building. Rooms were small, but comfortable both in temperature and mattress quality. Breakfast is assorted for every taste, vegan options were also present. Check in and check out procedures were fast, staff really kind and professional. 100% will return if I’ll ever visit Wien again.

Everything was perfect in this hotel. Specially Ahmed, Mike, Frank, Julia and Festim from the reception. The Area is perfect for city trips. We had to park our car in P+R and its also not that far from hotel. We missed the breakfast but it was delicious last time. They also offer Gluten and Laktose free breakfast. Milad from the night shift was also very helpful. Thank you and see you soon Motel One Team.
We really liked the hotel and the staff was very friendly. It was clean and comfortable. What could be improved is that there was inly apple juice for breakfast, in orange juice containers too. Also, we paid for parking at check out (17 euros) but the coupon was not accepted in the garage so we had to pay once more (21 euros) to be able to drive out:(
Modern and very clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. I thought breakfast was expensive and no hot food. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room. The reservations process did not go smoothly and this caused some inconvenience as emails were not responded to quickly. The situation was later corrected by an apology.

Hotel: Som helhed, helt OK. Reception: Helt fin, venlig betjening. Værelse: Standardværelse, MEGET lille. Mangler skabs-/hyldeplads. En el-kedel og lidt kaffe/the kunne godt bruges. Badeværelse, helt fint, pænt og rent. Morgenmadsrestaurant: Alt for lidt plads til så mange spisende gæster! Ekstremt kaotisk!Siddepladser med med dybe stole/sofaer og bitte små lave borde, dur ikke til at spise morgenmad ved! Der bør være flere pladser med "rigtige" spiseborde og spisestole. Bar-/loungeområde: Ganske fint. Alt for lave/dybe lænestole/sofa - man kan slet ikke nå bordet, med mindre man sidder helt ude på kanten af stolen/sofaen! Lidt forvirret tjener i baren om aftenen. Men alt i alt et OK ophold. Jeg vil dog lige nævne, at det var bedre på Motel One, Wien Staatsoper, hvor vi boede sidste år i maj måned sidste år.
