The hotel is clean and very well located being less than 10 minutes from Munich East station. The room, although relatively basic (as to be expected) was a good size, plenty of electrical outlets for charging and the bed was comfortable. Again, good size bathroom with decent shower. All the staff we met were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again. I have only marked down the room as it would have been lovely to have a kettle in the room. Also, as we came during Oktoberfest the room was a bit more expensive, but this is to be expected.
We loved this hotel. It's new and clean. Beds and pillows are super comfortable. All the staff are very friendly. The 24-hour lounge is a great place to relax and have a drink. The delicious breakfast has a huge assortment of fresh foods - no processed items. There's ample seating and the staff keep it fully stocked and fresh until the breakfast service concludes. The location of the hotel is great as well. The Ostbahnhof station is down the street, and you can walk or take public transpo to many of the central sites and neighborhoods. The windows open, which is a nice plus. Location is quiet, even the rooms facing the street.
Clean, fine
Danke' for a wonderful experience visiting Munich and staying with you! The staff, accommodation and location were superb. I appreciate the ambience, friendliness and my time spent with Motel 1 Munich-Haidhausen. Have an excellent Fall and take care. Chow, Donna
Lovely quaint hotel with free water upon check in. Really a great location!
Great experience with no issues. Easy check in, clean room and excellent front desk response to service request.
I did not have a good experience with the hotel for the following reasons: The rooms do not have air conditioner system, only central ventilation. As a result, the room was too hot and the windows had to be open during the night for fresh air. The rooms do not have mini fridge or coffee machine. As a result, if you want coffee, you need to pay 4.50 euros at the bar or if you want to store food/drinks in the fridge, you need to ask the reception to do it for you. The cleaning service could also be better. If you don’t place the trash inside the only mini trash can in the bathroom, they do not remove the remaining trash bags in the home - which were left separate in the corner of the room. The TV in the room is also quite an old model, so it was not possible to properly connect my phone applications to it. The toilet had a mal functioning so we had to pull the flush for the water to stop leaking every time we used the toilet. On top of the above, the hotel rate/price is quite expensive for not having access to basic and expected services and facilities. I definitely do NOT recommend staying in this hotel. This situation gave me a really bad impression of the Motel One hotel chains.
Excellent as always
Very friendly and helpful reception, great bar. The rooms are a bit on the smaller end, but absolutely clean and good enough for a quick business trip. 24h reception is great.
The room itself and the hotel space in general, are well kept, clean and pleasant. Although the room was rather small, it was efficiently designed. We stayed at the 6 floor and the elevator was quick and frequent.
Conveniently located within walking distance of München Ost Bahnhof Station. Friendly and helpful staff. Small rooms that are neat and tidy with all necessary amenities. The rooms are small but sufficient. the beds are comfortable and the internet access adequate. Stayed here on two separate occasions recently and both rooms were brilliant!
Great experience, friendly staff, neat and clean rooms, great breakfast, great location and last not the least value for money.
Due to an early flight into Munich, we arrived at the Motel around 10:00am. The desk manager knew we'd travelled a long way and immediately arranged rooms we could check into. Unexpected service and just perfect! She also provided us with very handy tips about visiting the city, which was great. Loved staying at Motel One in Munich, friendly helpful staff, delicious breakfast.
Alles super 👍
Good location, good parking garage, fair prices
As always, very nice hotel, friendly staff, and lovely breakfast. The only thing I found frustrating was shower. With a small bathroom like this, having a walk-in shower with just a small glass panel means that everything gets wet and messy.
staff was very friendly and helpful. makes you feel welcome. please get the evening bar man some help. he was working extremely hard to satisfy everyone, but there is only so much 1 person can do.
Fantastic value for the cost! The hotel was modern, impeccably clean, quiet, and comfortable and the breakfast buffet exceeded expectations.
Perfect!
Clean and comfortable. I'd recommend it. There was a noise i my room coming from an electrical appliance though, but staff already knows. The breakfast could have had a bit more selection. But overall great. Very friendly staff. Thank you :)
Really nice hotel. Close to train station. Friendly staff. Check-in/out was quick and easy. Cosy bar area that served food and drink until late. Room not the biggest, but very clean and comfortable.
got the room that I asked for
Very friendly people and a very clean area. Everything is well designed and suitable for all meeting types. The room was very quiet, no noises from the street at all. OVerall a very good experience.
Very clean and comfortable room, but the room and bathroom were a little tight. The balcony was small as well. All of the staff that we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat breakfast there or use the lounge. The outdoor space was very nice. Great value.
it was a lovely stay at your house. For me the drink on the second night was not as good as the evening before and unfortunately we had to wait really long, as there was only one person doing the cocktails and the reception.
Great design, central location, polite & efficient staff, clean room, altogether best hotel package!
The hotel itself and the rooms were perfect. However, the breakfast was a major disappointment. The selection of food and drinks was minimalistic and seemed to serve only one purpose, to keep the cost down and the profit up. When we spend €850 on a holiday, the expectation is that we at least can enjoy the breakfast. Instead, the feeling was that it included only the bare minimum and what was there was mediocre quality. For example, there was no low-fat milk, barely any fresh fruit or berries, not much choice of fresh vegetables. On two different days when I took a banana, swarms of flies "escabed" from the basket -- simply because the bananas were far from fresh and had probably been there for days. Also, unfortunately, the staff at the breakfast was neither particularly friendly nor helpful and generally not attentive -- only in asking all guests for their roon number, the staff was extremely diligent. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful enough though. One last point: The software used for controlling the television is extremely slow, to the point where you don't know if it's reacting to a click on a button or not. With such slow response, you need a lot of patience to click through the system to find the program you want. And just to confirm, yes the TV system was working correctly -- it's only the response time and the intermediate black screens when you switch on and try to navigate through the menu to a TV channel that is not particularly user-friendly. But I guess it is what it is.
Alles okay!
Very nice and quiet room. Good breakfast. Good location, bus stop opposite the hotel and direct bus route to the Viktualenmarkt. Metro also near by.
rooms/bathroom small but efficient/functional. Staff at reception friendly and professional. Breakfast okay. Lobby and outside terrace great.
I needed Laundry Service
Top!
Very cozy, we'll lighted rooms and lobby, friendly staff, excellent location I wish they would put a mini fridge in the room
Excellent hotel, friendly and helpful employees, and very nice rooms. The breakfast was wonderful and gemütlich. And the area around Orleanstr. and Rosenheimer Str is fantastic, too. All in all, a place we're looking forward to go back to.
Tiptop
- Disposable paper cups in the bathroom is an environmental disaster. Please switch to reusable cups - At least a water boiler in the rooms would be nice.
I couldn't sleep in peace for two nights because guests were having loud conversations on the terrace, once between 1:30 and 2 a.m.
Alles super
Excel in every way
Good and nearby!
The expereince was incredible, A Venezuelan employee helped me, explained everything, was super nice, and really made a difference in my stay.
I love your hotel. It would be nice to gave an electric kettle in the room to prepare tea etc
Very nice breakfast and lounge. Some ham (Krakauer) at breakfast tasted weird/sour (could be old or simply particular selection). I really like the eggs at Motel One, always the same and almost perfect. Rooms are ok, cleaning could be a bit better (overall ok, sometimes still see some old hairs which lowers the overall score for me). Showers are sometimes not that great because of pressure but I guess that's common issue in hotels and probably depends on time of the day (once everyone starts showering everything drops ...)
Alles prima, nettes Personal
