Friendly and helpful staff on reception and also involved with providing breakfast. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely view of Princes Street. The only problem was that we could not get internet access in our room, we had to be in the lounge area to be able to use the internet. Other than that, we were very happy with the hotel facilities.
The direction to my room is very difficult to navigate. There are multiple stairs and steps that make it hard to move my luggage to the room. Also, the room doesn't have fan-only option for its heating system so the air gets stuffy inside. For the price, I don't think it's worth it.
Wie immer - sehr gute Qualität. Die Lage des Hotels war wirklich unschlagbar gut und praktisch. Es war schön ruhig, so dass man in Ruhe schlafen konnte, wobei die Fenster schon den Lärm von der Fussgängerzone nebst Weihnachstmarkt durchließen. Hier wäre eine bessere Verglasung evtl. gut. Aber nachts wurde es schlagartig ruhig. Das Frühstück war gut, Brot schön knusprig, der Kaffee gut und Schweizer Produkte.
Motel One stay was fine BUT please don’t invite your guests to check in on line when the system does not work. I spent more time than I should have trying to get checked in. Disappointing.

Tolles Haus, sehr nettes Personal. Fühlen uns sehr wohl. Kommen immer wieder gerne.
Die Zimmer sind zu laut. Man hört den Straßenverkehr trotz geschlossenem Fenster. Die Türen knallen zu, was besonders nachts und am frühen Morgen sehr störend ist. Frühstück war sehr lecker. Samen (Leinsamen, Chiasamen etc.) fehlen leider zum Müsli.
ich bin spät gekommen und hatte keinen Parkplatz mehr in der Tiefgarage gefunden, das war der einzige Nachteil. Ansonsten war ich sehr zufrieden und komme gerne wieder.
Der Aufenthalt bei Motel One war genial. Super Zimmer, perfekte Matratze kombiniert mit einem super Frühstück. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch!
Arrival experience not great. Room was meant to be prepaid but there was a mix up. No Wi-Fi in bedroom. Service at bar was slow and disjointed

Unser Aufenthalt war perfekt. Beim einchecken wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und auch abends in der Bar war der Service perfekt
Super Hotel. Für 10 Sterne hätte mir noch ein SPA gefehlt und beim Frühstück Ham and eggs ;-)

Der Aufenthalt war wie immer super. Leider ist es im Zimmer auf der ersten Etage ziemlich kalt gewesen.

Das Hotel selbst ist gemütlich eingerichtet und gut angebunden. Vor allem sind die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gerne wieder :-)
Good hotel, did the job. Main negative was excessive check of customers walking in at night by security meant it took over 10 minutes to simply walk into the hotel. I've never had to do this before and it seemed overkill security.
ich habe bereits eine Mail an das Hotel direkt geschrieben, was mit nicht gefallen hat und würde es hier ungern wiederholen wollen.
Alles war sehr angenehm. Der Check-In war mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern versehen und wurde schnell abgewickelt. Das Frühstück war lecker, ausgewogen und die Mitarbeiter, die sich um die Sauberkeit kümmerten waren auch toll.

Came to Basel for the Christmas Markets. To our delight the lovely Motel One is the perfect location. Check-in / out was easy. Nicole was exceptional! Friendly, funny and professional. Room was quiet and clean. Nice selection / presentation for breakfast.
LOVED this hotel! Only one minor issue-NO STORAGE! No dresser, nothing but two tiny shelves. We stayed 4 nights and it was challenging staying organized in such a small room with no storage anywhere. That being said, i would stay again. The beds were AMAZING, the location was AMAZING, and it was so quiet at night for sleeping.
Tolles Hotel, volle Bar, gute Stimmung, gute Location, toller Ausblick über Münche, .aber bald ist eine Renovierung dran.
Problemloser Online-Check-in am Vortag, bei Ankunft alles reibungslos, sehr nettes Personal an der Rezeption. Zimmer + Bad einwandfrei.
Das Zimmer hat eine angemessene Größe und war glücklicherweise recht Geräuscharm gelegen. Die Lounge Bar war aufgrund der Nähe zur Tür recht kühl. Ich musste dort mit Jacke sitzen.

Hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were really nice and helpful. Room was clean and we got a complimentary upgrade on arrival. Only issues we had was the the lifts stopped working and we had to walk up 12 flights (good work out after all the food and drink we had that evening and the tv wouldn’t work but only noticed in the morning but were getting ready to leave so not a major issue. Will definitely book again.
We really enjoyed our stay especially as we were using a voucher we had received to make up for a very poor experience in the glasgow Motel one. The room was lovely spacious although we did have to keep some curtains closed all the time as there was outside public stairs where people would walk by and be able to see into our room. We did arrive quite early that day and tried to check in a bit early which we were told our room wasnt ready which was fair enough. However we were told to come back at 3pm and it would be ready by then so we did this to find that it still wasnt ready and it was 20 past 3 before we were actually able to check into our room. Bed was really comfy and had a good night sleep and breakfast although no hot food was really nice and again was included with.our voucher am not sure I would pay the price charged for a breakfast that wasn't hot.
Second time staying at this hotel. Staff are lovely and always helpful, let us store out bags on arrival early. Room was clean, although the TV was a bit of a pain to get to switch off and not onto the fire screen. Location is great for the markets and general exploration. Room was nice and dark in the morning so got a good sleep. Pillows were so comfy. Only gripes were that breakfast does feel a little limited, but is advertised as continental so knew it wouldnt be cooked breakfast, and there was no normal bread for toast, just olive bread. All hotels seem the same but dont give enough milk for the tea/coffee in room. I wasnt sure if there was food available at the bar, was on 3rd floor with my son so couldn't be bothered coming back down to check, but something in the room of what is available would be useful. Will use hotel again, hopefully a bit cheaper next time!
Ich wurde sehr freundlich an der Rezeption empfangen und Vincent hat mir auf meinen Wunsch hin ein wirklich ruhiges Zimmer gegeben. TOP!! Was mich generell nervt, ist, dass die Badezimmertür immer zufällt. Man kann die Tür nicht offen stehen lassen. Da die Lüftung nicht so dolle ist, wäre es wirklich super, wenn Sie hierfür eine Lösung finden. Herzlichen Dank. Ansonsten ist alles zufriedenstellend und ich komme gerne wieder.
Im Bett befanden sich bei Bezug des Zimmers Haare einer fremden Person.
Super freundliches Personal Kissen sind sehr hoch und hart aber ich habe auf Nachfrage ein anderes Kissen bekommen - Daumen hoch! :) Parkplätze vorhanden Frühstück ist sehr gut aber für 17 EURO muss es das auch sein Schade dass es kein Fitnesscenter gibt
Conveniently located opposite Manchester Piccadilly train station, check-in was fast and efficient, all be it this was at 11:15 PM. Rooms are basic and functional, but clean and perfectly adequate for an overnight stay, with a comfy bed and tea and coffee-making facilities. The bar was open until the early hours, and breakfast was a continental cold buffet style. I would certainly use it again and recommend the hotel to others looking for an overnight stay.

Mich hat die ganze Nacht gefroren. Die Zimmer sind viel zu wenig geheizt.
Ich war zum ersten Mal im Motel One East in Frankfurt und fand es sehr gut. Eine echte Alternative zum Motel One Hauptwache, das für mich günstiger liegt, aber Preise aufruft, die überzogen sind. Seit dem Investoren-Einstieg hat sich die Preispolitik insgesamt nicht zum besten entwickelt.
Zimmer viel zu kalt, man konnte die Temperaturen nicht regeln. Besonders unangenehm, wenn man aus der Kälte ins Zimmer kommt und es wird nicht warm. Morgens die Dusche auch zu kalt
Sehr freundlicher Empfang,die Olympiahalle in fußnähe erreichbar.Zimmer war makellos sauber und angenehm temperiert. Alles perfekt.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, sauber und ruhig. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Frühstück ist auch in Ordnung und ausreichend. Lediglich die Sitzmöglichkeit zum Frühstück ist nicht besonders schön geraten, reicht aber.
